saw this posted on the zcash forum. anyone know if the 1000 h/s per card screenshot  is legit?

link to source: https://forum.z.cash/t/hey-guys-who-can-tell-me-what-this-is-single-card-speed-is-reached-1132h-s/9746

I like the look of his speeds. Wish mine ran that well.  Cry

This is more photoshoped tham the girls in playboy.

I see some posts that V8 reached hardware limits and there is no way to improve speed anymore. It's not true.
I'm working on new version with another good speedup, though it takes more time and efforts.

And whats the point?? High temperatures, more electricity and same profit, cuz all are with the new miner. Your new versions are not helpful, do you know that?

My miner does not support Linux, Nvidia, CPUs. They will not get any speedups from my miner.
Though I'm ready to stop development if most of people think so. It's not a problem for me at all. Make a vote somewhere to see results.

If you stop development I will find you and I will kill you!  Grin

That is totally wrong Smiley

Wrong because?? My cards were at 60C, now are at 75C. The profit is same! Tell us your point!

@ioginx Your bad math cant make me a troll Wink

If you dont like it just dont use it, its easy as fu*k.  by myself with my 390 cards I m getting from 200 sols with 190-200 W to 290-300 sols for 200-215W 280x from 130 sols with 100w  to 220 sols with 180w for me is working perfectly. Just mine and fap at the same time. Go ti linux and make more profit if you can. I wish you the best!

Claymore 280x (2048 cores) 1100/1750 -220h/s
               470  (2048 cores) 1100/1750 -160h/s
30% That's very bad.

The 280x at 1750?!?! How?
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v7.0 on: November 23, 2016, 07:36:13 AM
Is ZEC more profitable than ETH?

not anymore, it's way lower, assuming a rig of 1000(6 x 480)sol versus the same rig that do 180MH it's 0.002 worst, conusmption is also higher i guess or on par

What bios/settings r u using to get 180MH from your rig? I have low power bios and have 170mh, on this 180mh was unstable. Is all fine on your rig?

The question you should be asking is, what is his hash per watt. You can crank up the speed but you exponentially use more power.

I have free electricity, so for me more important is MH/S Smiley

How free? Solar panel?
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v7.0 on: November 19, 2016, 07:25:43 PM
any chance you will begin to work on nvidia and cuda? amd is reaching is limit already i don't think it's possible to do high improvement anymore
on the other hand a 1070 is stuggling to have 125 sol and it should be 160 at the very least, and i think it might be higher, up to 180...

I still can improve speed, though it requires more and more efforts and time. It seems about 300H/s on stock 390X is possible. So it's not over for AMD yet and therefore I don't have time for NVidia.

Lol 300 pper card will be awesome, but what power ussage?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v7.0 on: November 19, 2016, 07:24:10 PM
For those, who need comparison data.
version 7 speeds:
7870 - 95 sol/s
7950 - 145 sol/s
7970 - 165 sol/s
270x - 100 sol/s
280x - 165 sol/s
285 - 110 sol/s
470 4Gb - 155 sol/s

Couldn't be more accurate. You can add
290 - 200 sol/s to complete the list

295x2 shapire  -  452 sol/s to complete the list
What power consuption?

With the price of 295x2 i can buy 3x390
So 3x220:660 sol/s
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v6.0 on: November 18, 2016, 07:31:43 PM
Can someone explain me briefly what happened here ? did someone upload through 3333 his own config file to someone else's rig ?

yes that's exactly what occurred.  I had the port open to the world and someone decided my rig would be better suited to mine for them than me.

BR

I am from the mobile but i think in readme there was a option where change the pornt and no1 can connect to your miner check it and tell me.

Could also be a nicehash user.  Or someone remotely changing config files.

To anyone worried about remote changes, set -mport 0 (disable), or -mport -3333 (negative ports make remote monitoring read only), default is 3333 (full remote access via ethman).

You can also go here https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?rh1dkyd2 to check if port 3333 is open to the outside world, and change router settings if it is.

Looks like a gpu farm, all the worker hash rates fall in line with what you would expect of a rig.

Lolz so 250+ rigs?

Once you consider there a warehouses filled with gpu racks, it starts to get crazy.

Those owners sometimes open a couple of locations and they probably split up the workers to various address for whatever reason, really its impossible to say how large they are.  If I worked at a location like that I would probably siphon off a few racks to mine at my own address and blame it on downtime ;P

2-3 Msols are nothing for him. And we are so happy when we get 20 sols upgrade to our farming  Grin

Ps. If i have chence to reach his speed probably i will the the second Dan Blizerian hahahaha

Hahah Im sure there are a good of Dan Bizerian wannabes running around, some charter jets accept bitcoin for a reason  Cheesy

Dont worry guys, never give up!!!
The version v7.0 of Claymore will be 1Msols per 280x and 3Msols per 390 and 480 fingers crossed  Cool
