Not pointing fingers at anyone but I think this bidding system can be run up by new accounts.

Not much of an advantage unless friedcat is the one doing it, which I doubt.

Exactly, I doubt any manipulation is going on.  People just really want his asic

2 @ 61.  I have to hedge my bets, since the butterflies haven't left the chrysalis.

And may never..

Dividends thus far:

Div Pay Dates     Div/Share
02/29 (IPO)         0.023545
03/06 (IPO)         0.019163
03/13 (IPO)         0.023786
03/20 (IPO)         0.025998
03/24 (IPO)         0.007508
03/27                 0.003775
04/03                 0.002556
04/10                 0.006956
And Today:
04/17                 0.00696732

So what exactly is making AM shares worth 1.6+btc?

Did you see the auction thread? They are set to have a 600 btc revenue come in from selling 100 ghash of mining power (10 units of 10 GHash at at least 60 btc each), auction will be done in the next couple days.

Do yourself, and everyone here a favor and actually run the math for likely divs. You'll see the price is nowhere near justified, unless you think BTC will hit like $300 soon....
Well, if you factor in the coming hashrate increase for AM, it is justified.

Exactly my thoughts.  There are so many things coming for ASICMINER.

No but I just got my satoshie's!  (first time too! i am excited!)

It's such a great feeling, isn't it? The satoshi tease right before the coins swim into your wallet Wink

I completely agree

170  Economy / Gambling / Re: RUN YOUR OWN BITCOIN GEM - for FREE (hosted version) on: April 16, 2013, 04:33:01 PM
None of these sites are worth playing if no one else plays.

Play the original, the most popular and best run, with far and beyond the most traffic.

www.bitcoingem.com
171  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitBears.com / BitJade.com / BitcoinGoldbar.com (Ponzi/Greater Fool) on: April 16, 2013, 04:31:08 PM
Vink, when are you going to do something about the pending payouts ?!? I've been waiting for ages now (4 days Tongue)

Play the original chain game: www.bitcoingem.com  it has the highest traffic, thus the least risk that no one will buy after you.

Also, top notch support and none of the issues you are dealing with.

Any speculation as to where new ASICMINER deployment will be mining? I have been watching BTCGuild (https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings) and the hashrate has been slowly rising. However, with recent controversoy over BTCguild approaching 50% of mining hashrate, I expect ASICMINER to point elsewhere. No sign of ASICMINER (or Bitfountain) at Ozcoin (http://ozco.in/content/user-top-20), and with recent Ozcoin downtime and PPS issues, I would expect ASICMINER/Bitfountain to mine elsewhere.

Any thoughts, speculation, evidence, and/or sightings of Bitfountain/ASICMINER at other pools?

I was wondering the same thing.. Anyone know where he might be pointing?

Red bar after red bar after red bar... This isnt going to let up anytime soon.  Sub 50s this week easily.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: The short term bear case on: April 15, 2013, 05:50:20 PM
I agree with much of what has been said already.  I feel that we will track down to sub 50 at which point bitcoin will stabilize.  This downward sell off will continue over the next 3 to 4 months.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: This is the magnificent bitcoin gem on: April 15, 2013, 03:13:40 PM
We are excited about upcoming projects for the site, and will be posting changes as they occur.  Again, feel free to let us know of any ideas or comments that you may have.  We will also address questions and feel free to PM us if you have anything you would like to discuss.

For a link to the original chain game:  www.bitcoingem.com

Many of the carbon copies of the original site lack traffic and appeal due to the fact that players confidence lies with the hope that another will come and buy the gem.

Creating another knockoff and hoping people play it is a waste of money and as you can see from the knockoffs they have recieved almost no previous buyers.

There is much more risk involved for the players when no one goes to your site.

Happy div day folks.    Grin

I do want to remind everyone that friedcat said last week that a portion of this weeks dividends would also be used for the incoming 200 TH/s. More curious about the update than the dividend.

I hope he spends all of it if it means getting more hash power online sooner. Hopefully tomorrow's update will have something of a timeline for overcoming the current barriers that are preventing us from getting to 12.

Totally with you on this one. Hell, I'll even take no dividends for the rest of April if that meant getting the 262 TH/s online by May. Unlikely but one can hope.

Im with you on that!
