161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank account? on: January 16, 2017, 10:33:13 PM
I'm not sure if there are banks accepting Bitcoin deposit, but I find it unlikely, since banks generally take decisions that are influenced by governments. The information I have is that there are banks working with some cryptocurrencies, such as ripple, as well as banks working on their own projects, related to blockchain technology.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: January 16, 2017, 10:25:48 PM
. I think to gamble in a smart way is only not being greedy even if we bet big or small. Being contented with our profit is enough to play gambling in a smart way.

The right way is to stop whenever you feel that you are getting profit already. You need to realize that we are playing to get profit so even if it is only a small amount, it is still much better than losing so lets just take it and leave. I personally had done this few times and I do think that I ended up in profit although it is not much
i think it is very difficult to know the right time. and to decide to stop play gambling and specially when you are winning, therefore if you have already set a plane for your gambling and following it stickly then it can work.
This is a difficult aspect to be studied, not only in gambling, but in various investments, such as trading, or even in sports. In any case, understanding this is worth the time and effort... deciding the right time to take action can be a decisive factor for your investment. This is probably one of the reasons why people with more success and more time on the market can make better decisions, this is something you learn from experience.
163  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is coinbase really a bad website to make a wallet on? on: January 16, 2017, 10:13:57 PM
Well, is it? From what I heard they have a credit card issue or something, I can't really remember what. And they're known for stealing bitcoins. If so, what other online wallet should I head into?

I have a sincere advance that  if you have many bitcoins, Do not use online wallet to store it. Please use private wallet such as bitcoin core wallet for cold storage. it's safer than online wallet.
I know that some websites may have multiple security holes, and this is certainly a problem. But I would like to know if there are online wallets with tolerable risk levels. I see that many users use blockchain.info without major problems. For this online wallet specifically, are there also high risks?
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MaidSafeCoin actually a thing? on: January 16, 2017, 10:00:53 PM
Maidsafe coin is one of the project I always wonder why is it in the top 10 on coinmarketcap.com, I was told the project is older than Bitcoin and still no product in market. Maidsafe is one of those dream of building castle in the air project.
I can see that the cryptocurrency has a good position in the coinmarketcap website, but the question is, are these more than four hundred million coins the total supply, or is part of the supply in the hands of the developers?
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would banks use a blockchain? on: January 16, 2017, 09:40:38 PM
Banks would probably not adopt a technology that considerably limits the control they have. It is possible that someday some banks will adopt Blockchain Technologies for real-world applications, but certainly the first thing they will try is to use some kind of centralized blockchain.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 15, 2017, 02:32:26 AM

There are just those people that are totally risk taker and they attain to gamble higher what they afford to lose.

You will be surprised to know that some people actually gamble the money that they cant afford to lose, they call themselves risk taker and I prefer to call them insane. Some peolle think that by risking everything they could finally win and perhaps double up the amount in a gambling sites and in fact it is just an insane thought
yes that is the main problem that most of the people play gambling out of their range and they the put themselves and their families in trouble. some time they even sell their houses and other property for gambling.
This happens because there are people who do things without thinking, without proper planning. Even in something that is promoted as an alternative to having fun, you need to be careful not to put an amount of money that you may need later. In the case of gambling, many users are able to understand that this is something whose main purpose is fun, but there are still many people who think this is a good way to get rich, which really does not make much sense.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Bank would no longer fit for the future? on: January 15, 2017, 02:22:42 AM
Well nothing is predictable especially when it comes to the future, so we can't say anything about a few years later from now. And banks have been existing for decades now, their existence can be seen as one of the first sign of world's economy growth and we still can't deny the benefits of banks in some particular cases, so banks won't let bitcoin take over that easy.
The fact that banks have been here for a long time is actually a competitive advantage, but people tend to look for easier and cheaper solutions to get things done, and with the use of the internet, many people will know that Bitcoin is capable to simplify things and solve many problems, making the economy a better economy.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: January 15, 2017, 02:15:11 AM
My game is craps.
It is always interesting to see how the night goes on that.
My favorite game is poker, and it is very easy to know why, for those that have play it, it is a game where everything counts, the way you or your opponent bets, your position on the table, the amount of the bets, your bankroll, does your opponent looks nervous? And if so why?

Yeah same here. Poker is a combination of a lot of aspects. Skill, technique, experience, being observant and knowing how to read other player's reaction and of course luck. I think this is what separates it from other gambling games as you actually can control in a way the outcome of the game. The more you play, the more you'll know how to read other player's cards as well as your own and how to react. For me, poker is the game that is actually worth taking a lot of time playing.
In fact some techniques and a greater knowledge of the game are things that can help reduce risks, but it is still a game where you can not risk putting too much money, because the chances that something wrong happens are very high. Many of the techniques seem simple in theory, but the user will only understand more deeply when he/she applies all of this in practice.
169  Economy / Services / Re: I pay for your comments on my websites on: January 15, 2017, 02:11:06 AM
I think op is not updating this thread and i think they already get his goal about the commenting in his site.. better to stop trying to do this task if op is not updating this few days it means this task was done.
I think this is a good way to promote the website, attract more users and increase traffic... but, obviously, it is important to set some limitations. I myself am thinking I create a website and use similar methods to promote, but there are many aspects that need to be carefully observed.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly can you buy with Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2017, 01:55:04 AM
You can buy nearly everything with Bitcoin, you just have to know what websites are effective to use and where you can find people willing to sell you stuff for Bitcoin. There have been mines sold for Bitcoin, there have been houses and cars sold for Bitcoin, you can buy MtG cards for Bitcoin, you can buy groceries, there's a ton of things you can do.

Just look in the right places.
There is a wide variety of places on the internet, but in physical locations it is a bit difficult to find. Depending on the country, this becomes more complicated, because in some countries there are not many websites accepting the currency, but this is something that can be understood, because the ecosystem is still developing, and that takes time.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust Poloniex? on: January 15, 2017, 01:46:34 AM
They have a good service, at least I had no problems using it. But you have to be careful with any exchange, you should not put all the eggs in the same basket. It's is a good place to trade, especially for having a wide variety of altcoins. However, exchanges are not the best place to save the coins.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 14, 2017, 02:57:32 AM
The main reason that people don't buy it is that they don't understand it and don't even know where to get any. A secondary reason is that it is still a very risky investment that we have to realize may fail in the long term.
This is why, when you run across these people, you explain it to them so they will get into it!  The more people into it, the better off bitcoin will be.  I always tell people about bitcoin and how it could be good to them.  Some people will like it and others will run.
I think the only people who are going to run are those who do not want a more decentralized economy, that is, such people may not understand the value of freedom.

There are also people who have a tendency to resist new technologies, especially people who are not accustomed to the fact that, through the use of the internet, in association with other technologies, there are easier ways to get things done. Such people probably need reviewing how they see such technologies, to then accept the benefits that this can bring.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: January 14, 2017, 02:44:44 AM
Lots of places to spend your bitcoins on. You don't have to spend it on those subjects you mentioned

It depends. Maybe in your place there are lot of places but not in mine. It is hard to see a stall with a sign that accepts bitcoin. It is always changing it to hard cash first before you can even spend it. Now, I have just been doing online buying instead of going to the mall.

The same thing with me either there are only few places here in my country where I can use bitcoins and there is no physical store that accepts it.

Good thing that the exchange here is capable for accepting bitcoins by using their service that we are able to buy prepaid load cards.

And as well as paying our monthly dues.
It is fact that, using fiat, people have a lot more chances of spending the currency in physical stores. But it is also true that many people feel more secure by storing value in Bitcoin. And for that purpose, I have to admit, Bitcoin is a better option, as well as being a more convenient way of storing value. For the same purpose this is also cheap and safe, since you use it properly.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 14, 2017, 02:31:23 AM
Better to invest it. You could try investing in casino sites it is more slow but surely profitable, investing in gold is a good investment also but don't try investing in hyip sites
If you refer to bankroll investment, this is a interesting possibility to consider. I noticed that there are people who have had very satisfactory results investing in this, obviously not all casinos have a good result. From the information I have, the best thing to do is to choose the best sites, with good reputation, and try to diversify the investment.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: January 14, 2017, 02:24:30 AM
The best way to stop gambling is immediately repent. many people are poor because of gambling, but there is still much curious for so rich because of gambling. If we like gambling, made just for the fun.
Some people really wanted to play gambling for fun, I also play gambling for fun but I know some people that there are also playing gambling because they wanted to earn money but in the end they will become busted. There are really a lot of people being curious because of gambling or how rich people become rich because also of gambling. I myself don't really know exactly why rich people become rich because of gambling but one thing is for sure, we need to have limitations in gambling, not only in gambling but also in other things but in gambling we need to really limit ourselves so that we cannot lose much money in the end.
That motivation is something easier to defend, because it was for that purpose that gambling was made. There is, of course, the possibility of making a fortune out of it, but this must be seen by the individual as a secondary aspect of it, as this is hardly going to happen. Creating great expectations may not only compromise the fun, but it can also be the cause of financial loss for the person.
176  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: January 14, 2017, 02:18:31 AM
Bitcoin is powerful from the days of its existence, because it has some value in terms of dollar or other currencies. I believe the true power is the support that bitcoin gained from more users, though its never promoted through different advertisement or through media's.
I think what really makes Bitcoin valuable is that it's one of the few ways to send, receive, and store value in a decentralized way, being simply enough so that anyone around the world can use it, and at a very low cost.

An interesting aspect you mentioned is the fact that Bitcoin achieved all this without much advertising. This is important because it shows that much of what was achieved was a result of Bitcoin's potential to solve real-world problems.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 14, 2017, 01:59:21 AM
i am sure that bitcoin will be used by everyone in 2022 because bitcoin getting too much popularity day by day and a lot of people adopting bitcoin in huge amount and people are getting awareness quickly about bitcoin so i hope bitcoin will be used worldwide in the future.
nope too difficult even I would say it was impossible bitcoin user will have all people in the next 5 years. in fact I doubt it will happen despite the 10 years to come though. I think this is not just about the time, but the hater is not possible to use bitcoin
It's not impossible dude because bitcoin becoming popular now and maybe 5years from now it will be used by almost everyone "almost" not totally everyone.
The problem is that currently the percentage of people using Bitcoin is still low compared to the global population. I think that number is less than 2% at the moment. Reaching a number above 10%, five years from now, will be very difficult. It's not impossible, of course... we should not underestimate the network effect of Bitcoin, but there are many barriers to be broken for that to happen.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: January 14, 2017, 01:51:08 AM
Bitcoin going into circulation would always be better in the long run... Having people staying alive in this economy is even better.

To be honest it takes skill to obtain this currency with investing so most people would stick to consuming with it. To have an establishment there is much to gain off having physical commerce or even Bitcoin Teller Machines to get this ball rolling in your local area.

Here in my area, there is no such bitcoin teller machines but the thing is that bitcoin is becoming popular here a little by little. Because exchange sites are allowing us to withdraw our bitcoins through banks ATM when we are converting it to fiat. And with that service, it is just like we are spending bitcoins for real and that's a good help to us and to the economy.
In many countries bitcoin, has started to become something that a bunch of people know, and for the most part the people who do are the ones that work on the internet and they get paid using bitcoin, there are a lot of bitcoin credit cards out there which allows us to directly convert our bitcoin to fiat through ATMs which is a start to adopting bitcoin more and more.
The number of people with Internet access is very high compared to years ago, and it makes things simpler for people who want to inform others about the importance and use of Bitcoin. This is a good thing, especially with regard to increasing the chances of Bitcoin to have greater acceptance in the market.

I'm not sure about bitcoin credit cards, but the use of Bitcoin Debit Cards is something that is making things easier for a lot of people, but I think the rates are still a little high to attract a larger number of users.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: January 14, 2017, 01:32:27 AM
it only matters when you are interested in the short term price of bitcoin... In the long term... the price will go up so it the current price doesnt matter Smiley

Price is price, no matter you want it for short term or long term but you are always wishing the price to stay high because that is what makes bitcoin the best among all other coins, if bitcoin was not having a huge price like this it would never have been so popular in the world.
I think even if the price was not as high as it is today, Bitcoin would still be known to many people around the world, but the platform would not work efficiently, and a few people would be willing to mine, since that there would be a high risk of losses. Without a high hashpower, there would be a lot of instability in the network, and this would make life difficult for many users.
