161  Economy / Economics / Re: What crypro / tokens has the most utility ? looks like all are useless on: May 08, 2022, 10:03:52 PM
Bitcoin has the best utility imo.

You can send end receive wealth without the need of using banks. If that’s not utility, then I don’t know what is.

Bitcoin is not as  cheap as it use to be but still cheaper than the traditional banks and it doesn’t require KYC.
Bitcoin without doubt seems to be the one with the good utility as transaction source, investment, store of value, and it counts. Beyond this it is the reference asset for the development of altcoins which serves to be a big utility. Among the altcoins XRP being centralized, it is much used on banking sectors and have partnered with different such service providers.

I can add XRP in my list because they are indeed good when it comes to transfer purposes. However, we don't know where their developments are going to. They are one of the top alts with cheap transaction fees and at the same time fast, which is very likable in the payment industry. However, some people are hesitant to store this long-term because of its ongoing SEC issues. However, when it comes to payment purposes, I believe, XRP is one of the top alts that you can name as they already have wide coverage. In addition to XRP, LTC is also a good one to keep but still, we need to verify their developments because it will give us idea about their longevity in the market.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reducing Bitcoin Transactions in El Salvador on: May 08, 2022, 09:18:53 PM
I think if 20% using Chivo wallet it's pretty normal. Because those create a wallet or open an account on Centralized exchanges all of them haven't been used. I think max 20 to 30% of users are active there, others just sleeping. Citizens aren't using the Chivo wallet doesn't mean they aren't using Bitcoin. Different people have a different choices, no one could force to use them any specific wallet anyway. At least Citizens familiared with Bitcoin, now depends in them whether will us it or not.

Because we have alternatives now owed to other centralized exchanges and other trading platforms, which may be one way or another has better exchange rates than what Chivo is offering. So if you want to pay something, and you have better option than using Chivo, what would you use? So yes, not using Chivo means people are not transacting with bitcoin. They may even have founnd better choices by knowing what Chivo is offering. Figures from Chivo users doesn't mean that's the crypto figures for El Salvador. And also, it would take time for its citizens to adopt the crypto business. Once they internalize its advantage, more than likely they will patronize this market and at the same time endorse it to their family, colleagues and friends.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to unemployment: creating new jobs or early retirement on: May 08, 2022, 08:21:47 PM
Unemployment can have a negative impact on the entire economy.

Permit me to say not can it have a negative impact on the economy but it has already causes many economical problems relating to increasing poverty and social vises such that are the major constitute of crime and fraudulent activities in the society.

When fewer people are employed, output and GDP fall.

Employment of the youths should be one of the utmost provisions government should put in place in other to keep the running of the economy system on a balanced gauge, GDP is very important in every country as this is related with the determination of the  population size and the efficient output of man labour.

As much as possible, creating new jobs will give a very good heads up to the government. It may not be lucrative jobs, but it will lessen the unemployment among its people. With less unemployment, means, people can support themselves and it will also reflect on the spending power of its citizens. Maybe less crime also as people are busy attending their jobs. The government can create new jobs by creating projects for new infrastructures such as buildings, roads and others. The more projects they have, the better for its own people. And with less time for vices, will translate to less crime. So at the end, it will be a win-win situation for the government as well as its people.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 08, 2022, 07:26:30 PM
During the start of the year price of bitcoin was close to $47500. This further saw decline and reached around $38500 by the end of January. The market isn't progressive, and this resulted with the price moving within the $41k range for a long. This ended with the increase reaching $44k by the start of the month March. Slow and stabilized price movement didn't let the price increase as there were war and other issues happening around. So the price was around the $36k range which further reached $47k by the end of March. Those weren't mentioned as the bear market and now the gradual decline have caused the price down to $35k. Hope price will increase with time than declining.

We can just only hope in this market, but if the situation will not pan out according to our targets, we can always have alternative plans on how to face the current trend in the market. There are so many newcomers who are waiting for btc to go down so they can buy their own stash. So why not start thinking of collecting some while the market is down? Or most will be affected by fud and other negativities? In this market, you will be your own boss, so you need to make your own decisions because nobody will take care of your assets but you.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russians collectively hold about $130b in crypto on: May 08, 2022, 06:27:23 PM
even if centralized exchanges have people's data, how does the russian government have this information? we all know that most centralized exchanges are unlicensed and the owners are anonymous people so how did the russian government get all this information? Will the Russian government keep demanding that anonymous exchanges provide data on Russian customers and even non-Russian customers? besides that I always heard the Russian government talking bad about bitcoin and I well remember them saying that they had china as a partner in case they cut swift, the russian government doesn't like bitcoin
This is the same question i was thinking, how would the government come to an assumption that Russians are holding $130 billion worth of cryptocurrencies when majority will be trading from exchanges that are not even regulated and there are users that mine the coin. The government can get the data from the exchanges that are functioning in Russia.

They are just estimating here, I don't think they have the resources to get the full picture of crypto holdings of their people. Based from the article itself, they mentioned that it came from various estimates, it means, they don't have the precise figures. But even if this number is just an estimate, it means, Russians are into crypto especially during this war as they are finding options on how to save their money or how to move their money without facing so much trouble. We can't blame them because right now, the situation needs quick thinking on how to secure your assets safely and cheap. Their government may also fast track crypto regulations as they would want to get money from this market as much as possible, for additional sources of income.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 08, 2022, 06:39:06 AM
^^ Indeed, what a performance from Bivol, Canelo has a difficulty penetrating Bivol's high guard defense and then Bivol's 1-2 is hitting Canelo.

And whatever Canelo try to rally and somewhat winning the round, Bivol will make a comeback jab, straight, straight. I guess Canelo was exposed here, and probably 175 lbs is too big for him.

With his loss to this weight division, he may go back to super middleweight. And now, time to face GGG again. Will this loss affect the odds as well as purse split if in case Canelo vs GGG will happen this year? GGG came out as winner over Murata.

But on the other hand, with Bivol's win, he may be seeing better purse split for his next fight. We have seen the gap of purse split between Canelo and Bivol. This is the consolation of Canelo for this fight, getting much higher paycheck even if he lost this match.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Bitcoin Stands during a Stagflation on: May 07, 2022, 11:59:34 PM
Any inflation, regardless of how economic growth goes, is positive for bitcoin and crypto in general.

Decentralised cryptos in general is in a very sweet spot whereby it has its own growth prospects due to rampant adoption as well as being a hedge against fiat collapse. It has low correlation in the long run with the fiat economy also.

So totally agree with your sentiment & analysis here. Stagflation is a huge concern for everyone in the population and it's time to take it seriously by hedging with precious metals, crypto, and alternative asset classes.

If we will not be aggressive on how to fight this economic situation, we will find ourselves struggling, even finding difficulty on how to pay our bills on time. But today, I learned another word. Maybe, not yet hitting in everyone's dictionary but it makes sense. Also, this is the reason why we need to remember to diversify our portfolio. So whichever will be favorable on the situation we are in, we can always utilize them according to our needs.
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: Btxwar.com new site on: May 07, 2022, 10:59:00 PM
I don't know why you suspect someone has bad intentions. It looks like the site is still under construction and the owner is listening to what Bitcointalk users say. It's rather good. I don't know what the micro earnings on gambling website is for, but I don't see anything wrong with that. The more options the better.

Seems that the site is focusing more on micro-earnings now. With this, they need to move this thread to the micro-earnings section and not here in the gambling board. Maybe, they realized that running a gambling platform is not a walk in the park. If they have no bankroll to begin with, they will just receive complaints after complaints. So now, they decided to have micro-earnings website instead.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Crypto to the wrong address on: May 07, 2022, 09:53:00 PM
Before sending tokens, it would be nice to check the address first, whether it's correct or not, most people don't pay attention to the intended address if I think they are careless. If the address is wrong, you can't take it back unless the recipient wants to return it.

This is why before sending the click button, you need to make sure you entered the correct address. Also, if I may add, check also if you are in the right network. Nowadays, we have different networks available already especially if you are talking with tokens, not only ETH but BSC, SOL, AVAX, FTM and others. So check the receiving address about the network as well as the originating address. It is very hard to get back your tokens if you sent it to the wrong network. Not many platforms will entertain you to recover your tokens if you made a mistake with the network.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: May 07, 2022, 07:11:21 PM

Waiting for this fight to happen. Bivol knows he is on the spotlight here so whatever he will say can be used against him. So better keep mum and let do the talking his performance come this fight. Canelo is like at the prime of his career so no doubt many are believing on him with his capability even if he is the one going up with the weight division.

Bivol is like that he did not change because he is facing Canelo he doesn't trash talk and is very quiet he never chooses to be mum it is just his character, and about the prime of his career they are both in the prime of their career, it's just Canelo is too experienced and probably stronger than Bivol, Canelo is the heavy favorite here but I will admire Bivol more if he takes the fight to the distance, and I believe he can do it.
Bivol is a champ. I like him so much and follow him. His fight with Canelo is something fans have been waiting for. I like the strength of both the boxers but I will bet on Bivol. But that is correct too Canelo is too experiences as compared to Bivol and his strength and speed is amazing. Lets see who takes the lead.
Both are champions of their respective divisions but Canelo is the undisputed but I respect your bet on Bivol, I know he can make this fight interesting as he can and will likely go for a tough toe-to-toe match few hours from now. It's just it's hard to bet against Canelo who is currently on his prime. We will see who will be the winner Smiley

I just happen to see how much they are getting from this fight. And indeed, Canelo is heavily favored here with a guaranteed purse of $15M, and 70% PPV, whereas, Bivol has only guaranteed purse of $2M and will only receive 30% PPV. If for some reasons, Bivol will emerge victorious for this match, very likely that he will get much better share for his next fight. But in any case, that amount is already good as we are just starting to get out of this pandemic.

171  Economy / Economics / Re: Standard of living on: May 07, 2022, 05:44:47 PM
In our country, the inflation rate is continuously increasing. The unemployment rate is also increasing because some businesses and huge companies are filing for bankruptcy because of inflation. Corruption is getting worse and the people are being divided because of politics. As for me, the current situation in our country isn't getting any better and we're also affected by the war between Russia and Ukraine.
I think it will continue to improve, it's just that the difference is sooner or later. What I'm observing now is that there's an acceleration that makes us really feel the effect. Especially when it comes to politics, I think almost every country experiences the same thing. I also feel there is no solution for that because the times are also advancing. The difference may be in some developed countries will be slightly better, compared to developing countries.

Since we can't do anything much when it comes to politics, on the other hand, we can look for ways on how to improve our situation. We can't blame forever our government regarding the negative things that we are experiencing. It lies on our hands now how to combat this situation we are in. Small initiatives can make big impact on our lives. Few examples that we may neglect are planting on our garden (if you have space, even small one), selling pre-loved items that we don't need anymore, accepting odd jobs. And also live simply and in frugal way.
172  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| on: May 07, 2022, 05:08:16 PM
Am sure the positive feedback coming from members of this forum who have tried out the site is an indication of how the team is ready to build a good reputation and also build a good community, one other feedback I will love to hear is about the registration requirements of phone number have that change or option are given to either use a phone number or email. That way the user is at liberty to decide which one to use and how they want the privacy to be handled. I will be waiting to hear that feedback or admin making a statement on that since many members have raised that concern.

They are not requiring the phone number anymore upon sign up, just go to their site and click the sign up button and you won't see the phone number requirement anymore. So that's one way to listen from the community and attract new players. And when it comes to disposable email, definitely they can do that. But of course, when you are already sending significant amount of money to their site, make sure you have no problem with your email access.
173  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cash out issue with FortuneJack Casino on: May 06, 2022, 11:55:30 PM

thanks a lot indeed to everybody who showed support. I didn't know about this forum prior to yesterday but I'll definitely start following it from now on.

I also want to say that I received the cash out this morning, shortly after their notification by email.

So everything has been fixed and I feel a bit dumb for panicking that much, eventually a 3 days wait wasn't that disastrous delay.

Not sure about it, but I guess it's better I delete the post?

You can tell other gamblers that there is a forum like Bitcointalk and it has a gambling discussion section where it can help you when it comes to everything Cryptocurrency casino, we have seen newbies coming here because of their issues on the casino they are playing and this forum can help provided that the casino they are having issues had a thread here or if the casino doesn't want to settle the issue you can help the community by exposing them.

Better lock this thread as it already served its purpose.

But put [SOLVED] on his title thread so we know this case is already closed. And not delete, but yes, lock the thread. This will give also a reference that FJ is indeed paying their players. There may be hiccups because of some uncontrolled situations but they will resolve the situation right away. Good for the OP that he played in one of the reputable casinos, wonder if he went to the known shady site, maybe, he is still waiting in vain for his funds.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: May 06, 2022, 11:01:53 PM
This with no shadow of doubt will only create problems for them Europeans, which of course its happening already. Russia still stands firmly despite all the sanctions imposed on her. It is indeed a huge necessity to the Western sides.

But I believe they will slow down in the next coming months once their military is already nearing at their dead end. It seems for me, Putin is the suicidal one on this picture. But high likely, we will see some developments very soon. I don't think this war can go on extended period of time. Many are already suffering as well as dead from this unnecessary war.

Full final presser:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qJ1tdK5kus

Again, who would not like Bivol, he is so humble, no trash talk just wanted to give the fans a good fight. And that mentality though, so let's see how he will do against the best fighter in Canelo Alvarez.

Yeah, Bivol is a very likable guy. To be quiet is the best thing that he should do as he would be in the spotlight on the weekend because whatever words that may come from his mouth might have a negative effect on him because of this Russian-Ukraine war and him being a Russian has put him into this controversy.

This fight is part of the "Cinco de Mayo" celebration which is a Canelo event hehe, so I will be putting my money on him as I believe that Canelo is very hard to defeat at this stage of his career.

176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk, Mark Cuban Discuss Using Dogecoin to Solve Twitter Spam Problem ! on: May 05, 2022, 11:18:27 PM
It would basically be something like "pay if you want to keep spamming" type of deal, and everyone would have to pay doge to make sure that they keep it going. Considering how little twitter users know about doge, and how it would require even non-doge people to get some in order to pay that upfront to have unlimited account, that would make some people leave, or just dislike the place all together.

Twitter could punish people for spamming without paying anything upfront, and only ask doge to continue if they think it is not a spam, but in that case people will just start new accounts to spam and not pay anything which would be making the prevention system futile.

They should find another free way to mitigate the spamming problem. Because if they will implement this, for sure, a lot of twitter users will not use this social media channel anymore. They need to weigh their pros and cons here because if they will lose large part of its users, then, what would be the future of twitter?
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💥🔥hilobit.live🔥💥 | BET HI or BET LO to roll 🤩 and the WIN BTC! 🤑 on: May 05, 2022, 10:36:39 PM

I don't think he can address these issues all the issues are serious he's faking everything and he is exposed it's hard to get out of it and correct it, the community will not let him correct it, even if they correct it, the community will not trust this casino anymore this kind of casino operator thinks that he can get away showing fake date, the community is good at exposing fake casino.

This is why you are lucky if you happen to know this forum before you sign up in any of these crypto gambling sites. Because before you sign up and send any penny to them, you can very well read the reviews or feedbacks regarding the site. Now, if the OP won't address any of the queries, then, he should not expect any players from this forum. Though he can always get an audience from outside but I don't think his site will grow if they won't improve or resolve any of the issues.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: May 05, 2022, 09:51:36 PM
Crypto is not a get-rich-quick scheme-

When you are a noob then this would be the main or primary thing that you would really be thinking off about being a get rich quick scheme on to this market
specially when we are still new or first encounter on this market.

If you arent that mindful about making use of your own common sense then you would really be ending up on lots of problems ahead
but somewhat it would make you learn at the same time.

These noobs will learn their lessons fast once they got screwed their hard-earned money. Somewhere, they will learn their lessons. Because some won't read the pieces of advise given because they thought they can handle the situation. Come to find out that this is not a walk in the park. But once they got their lessons, they for sure will be cautious the next time around. So we don't need to shove what needs to be learned because it is much better if they will learn it on their own.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Future after Elon Musk Buy Twitter ? on: May 04, 2022, 11:53:14 PM
It seems that the future of the Doge is ambiguous so far because most of Musk’s statements are related to the development of Twitter and freedom of expression within the platform. There is no doubt that Musk will have a big role in the recovery and rise of the price of the Doge if he adopts it again and creates an effective use for it on Twitter, but we cannot see what He'll be on his mind for the coming months, but what we have to do is follow his new tweets on Twitter and see if he plans to use the dogecoin for payments or another meme coin.

We won't know what will happen to doge up until he will release his official announcement regarding its development. Also, up until now, we haven't heard about the progress of his collaboration with the doge team. So we have no idea where doge is right now when it comes to his plans. Let's wait and see if crypto will be a big part in this social media channel. Whatever alt he will choose for sure will have an impact on its market popularity as well as price.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MicroStrategy Finance results unveils how whales suffer big loss. on: May 04, 2022, 10:43:23 PM
But, the main point is, the higher the amount of bitcoin a person holds determines how huge their profits or loss will look like when the market is bullish or bearish.

If you're expecting everyone to be in shock at this revelation, you're going to have a surprise!

Back to the main thing, your example tells us the opposite, Micro Strategy is currently still in positive territory with over 1 billion, you can't call those losses, we are just going to go by the graph and declare here you've lost 3 billion but you're still n profit by 1billion? So the loss is a profit and the profit is also not realized because they haven't yet sold?

This is just like hitting 6 out of the 7 numbers in the jackpot, did you lose $1 million or did you make $10 000 getting the second prize?

We can't consider this as a loss as you said, they haven't sold yet. So we are not talking losses here. Also, if in case they decide to sell, they are still at big profits because they mostly bought it at $30 level price. So still a gain here. Don't know how people are speculating a loss when in fact the organization is still holding their bitcoin and so far, they have no plans of selling it?
