Right now, you are the face (some might say ass) of BFL on these boards. If you actually want to protect and grow your business, then you should hire an real PR person. If you have no business to protect, well then I guess you might as well just rage on.

Whoa... I see where the communication breakdown is.  You think Bitcointalk is still relevant to mining hardware.  Heh.  How... quaint.  I see where you get your nick, now.

So, where is mining hardware discussed then? Tell me. Serious question.

I'm not talking about mining hardware discussion.  Google "Bitcoin mining" ... Bitcointalk is at the bottom of the third page.  Which is also known as "Might as well not be listed" page.

If someone does manage to find their way here, they quickly leave due to all the drama and trolls.  Most people who still post here are so saturated with this community they don't realize how tiny and insulated it is. Bitcointalk posters encompass less than 10% of the current mining population, on a per person basis.  Why do you think all the hardware vendors basically stay the hell away from here?  Avalon makes a post and then leaves for weeks at a time.  bASIC finally gave up and made their own forums before their implosion. Scams galore in the hardware section.  The lack of any meaningful moderation pretty much chases everyone away and no serious business would participate in Bitcointalk.  I do it on my own time and at my own whim.  I don't speak officially for BFL here and BFL has no desire to participate in the Custom Hardware section unless it's properly moderated and cleaned up, which seems unlikely to happen.

Seriously, it's the same people posting over and over for the vast majority of the posts. Those people already have their camps and no one is going to change their minds, so who cares?  There's so much misinformation and BS posted here, it's impossible to find the signal in all the noise, so it's pointless to try to conduct business here.

You sure?

I think you are just butthurt because you clearly cant handle angry customers. All you do is drive them more into rage with your "you dont know shit about us" attitude. Yea, well, it has a reason no one knows shit about you. You only tell lies. Well, it may be true what you say all the time, but the truth changes a lot apparently.

Signed, not a angry customer

163  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitSyncom. Can you provide an update on batch #2? on: April 28, 2013, 04:43:19 PM
We need to wake up, when did batch 2 started shipping, February? Now people still didnt receive their units. So, relax, you'll get them anyway somewhere between June and late July.

i think you mean batch 1

Yes, right, corrected.

These guys are just angry that they didn't join the "Avalon Prime" membership when they had the chance.  Free 2 day shipping for only $75 a year.   Seriously, all the whiners out there.  Avalon is not Amazon.  It is not Best Buy.  You took a risk, and you'll get your ASIC when it arrives.  STFU already.

Not sure if you are agreeing with me...but yea, your right!

Given the circumstances of a small lag (I've checked http://www.uhrzeit.org/atomuhr.php) I'll have to announce accumulate is the winner. I know some may be upset, but I've talked to him and we've come to an agreement.

171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [2] countdown! on: April 24, 2013, 11:59:36 AM
Wow, they really take a vacation even when they said they will be shipping 15th of may? All they say is they are working hard, but the Avalon Customers arent seeing that at all. Batch 1 got delivered - nice. Now you tell me Asic Chips are going to be delivered before I receive batch 3? I mean, they got a delivery time of 8-10 weeks. I doubt I will see my avalon in my room mining within that time.

have they shipped yet?  Would it be possible just to get Avalon to ship directly to the winner?

No, it is not possible. But we will do Escrow with John K.

Hi,

I offer my 2 Batch 3 orders from avalon.

The minimum Offer is 75BTC for each avalon.

The unit is going to be shipped to Germany.

You either bid XXBTC @ 1 or @ 2.

Timer removed. End time: 2013-04-26+16:00:00

Pictures of order will be shown via PM (I've posted them in last threads, but due to fear of DHL interception I do not post them public anymore)

175  Other / Archival / Re: [For Sale] Avalon Batch #2 Pre-order (1 unit) on: April 20, 2013, 11:04:15 AM
Have you researched previous Batch 2 transfer sale prices?  If your start it at 375BTC my post will be the last non-ridiculing post in this thread.

But why? You are going to make 100BTC first month alone! Your in it for the long run!  Roll Eyes

10,000 Avalon chips will be a lot of GH/s.

The board design will be really simple - Avalon are even going to be providing a complete reference design in May. So it'd be a 1 hr job to order some PCBs and then a whole bunch of skillet reflowing (or contract a proper assembler). Hell, for 6 figures you could buy your own pick and place machine and build them "in-house".

Having said all that, I'll happily take 6 figures for a couple weeks work  Grin.

If your the man to build the devices and deliver them to door, I'd happily pay you.
180  Bitcoin / Hardware / Looking for a tech guy to help us creating new asic mining devices on: April 15, 2013, 11:14:55 PM
Hello,

we are a small group of people who would put up a high 6 figure amount of $ to build our own asic mining devices with chips provided by avalon.

What do we want? You preferably already designed a PCB board with asic chips to produce (theory) or are very experienced in PCB design in general. Also you know about other technicial complications with that.

What do you get? You will get paid very well for a short amount of time, possibly with shares on the following operation.

We are very serious about this and a reward for you could easily reach near 6 figures for a few month of work.

PM me and we will contact you via skype. Please only people who are seriously the best in their field.
