Hi two questions: 1) if this included among the miners? Apparently it's the fastest. Or yours is faster? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901.02) I'm surprised that it never seems to mine skein algorithm. After 48 hours I never saw it touched and it's always doing some other ones. My card it's a 1080ti. Skein is not the most profitable? It seems to focus a lot on the x17 which runs at 18mh/s 1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826901.msg19404712#msg19404712 2. Skein has higer difficulty and the same price as X17 algo, so pool choses to mine X17 instead for higher profitability.

I have found
70% tdp +200 core -200 memory 75% fan
is good but not every cards likes the +200 core I have also found intensity of 24 in bat file is more stable
How does that 70% TDP translate to actual Watts? Please consult nvidia-smi or Nvidia Inspector. I am also interested in optimizing ccminer suite for best Sol/W. Thanks.

Yes I am having issues with Z-pool Today too Phil.
Also having issues with CCminer shutting down by itself. It just completely disappears and I have to restart it again manually. This is on multiple computers, Win 10 and Win 7. I have tried running multiple instances to but it shuts them both down.
Anyone else have this issue?
Virtual memory too low? I am at 25GB commit charge running four cards. For ccminer reccommended is at least 30GB virtual memory.

Prologas, are you actually using those settings? PL 30? No card can go that low. Use nvidia-smi -i 0 --query-gpu=power.min_limit,power.max_limit --format=csv to check lowest PL of your gpu. And why set your fan speed at 50 if you are having high temp problems? Also: --fee 50? I am humbled by your generosity towards EWBF ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

90C? I don't think so ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) root@home:/usr/local/bin# nvidia-smi -q -d temperature ==============NVSMI LOG============== Timestamp : Sun Jun 4 19:48:04 2017 Driver Version : 378.13 Attached GPUs : 1 GPU 0000:02:00.0 Temperature GPU Current Temp : 53 C GPU Shutdown Temp : 101 C GPU Slowdown Temp : 96 CI think the bold part refers to thermal throttling and your cards are far from achieving it. Unless of course EWBF shuts down your miner because of default 75 celsius setting ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

My bad wasn't paying enough attention. If you set the right number of coolbits you should be able to go to the nvidia app in linux and modify this value. I would try 28, then 32.
Pics or it did not happen. Only fan speed can be set in nvidia-settings on my end.

Hehe, your nickname in Lithuania means copy ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have some cheap 1060, so they are burnin at 72C and more. At Windows afterburner you can set temp limit, so it activate slowdown mode and reduce sol/s to decrease Temperature. At Linux here, I can't see this option :? I really need this. Maybe it hardcoded at linux? By the way, I finished writing systemd service implementation. If anyone interested I could share of it. systemctl start/stop/restart miner Hehe, kopija means copy in croatian too ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I also learned that in portugese it means something that is hanging between your legs ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) I think you do not need to worry until your gpu temp reaches 90celsius. How does that systemd thingie of yours work?

By the way, does anyone know how to manage Slowdown parameters on linux? root@home:/usr/local/bin# nvidia-smi -q -d temperature

I have no idea, why worry about that? Unless you plan to move your rig to Hell? I heard it gets awfully hot there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And no, I am not from LT. I guess that means Lithuania? I am from HR actually.

I am running two rigs, each with six Asus STRIX GTX 1070 OC.
Miner depends on the algo. Ccminer SP for skein, EWBF for equihash and Ccminer 2.0 for all other algo's.
My rigs auto switch algo's frequently and after testing Alexis it didn't address all GPUs consistently. Spmod was much more stable and had very little difference in hashrate on my hardware.
I would not comment on stability/consistency of SP ccminer, but here are the Skein benchmarks that confirm your claim re: SP being the Skein Hero. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcloud.githubusercontent.com%2Fassets%2F29152869%2F26749899%2F9d191c28-47e3-11e7-8076-ddd8c697f9f2.png&t=663&c=8NwldWVBECpP5A) Source: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/issues/131

So in algo-switching scenario, pool decides what user will mine not based on currently highest priced coin only, but on price AND difficulty parameters? So ATM: DGB: high price, high difficulty; Topaz: price not so high as DGB but diff lower than DGB, so pool chooses Topaz. Correct?

Do I have to power the USB risers that are plugged in X16 slot? Thanks.
The RX series cards all draw ~50W from the PCI-e slot. Add this to the fact that there is no real reason NOT to power the riser, I suggest that you do. I asked about x16 slot specifically. I know that I have to power the risers that are plugged into x1 slot.

Windows -its free
HOw is it free? Where are you getting a valid key from? Have you tried mining on a trial windows version? I have not, pray tell how it behaves long-term? Usable?

This is a windows 10 problem switch to windows 8.
Why am I not seeing that problem on three W10 rigs mining skein ATM? BTW, I just tried downloading from Mega and Chrome claims that the .zip is dangerous. Did not happen before. Github is a must, IMHO.

You mean there is absolutely no display device where you intend to use that rig? Crazy idea, that.

Anyone here who mines with 1070s and 1060s? Will a 750w be sufficient with 2x1070 and 2x 1060 mining rig?
It depends on how good your PSU is, and you have not supplied us with that information. Most good 750W PSUs will provide at least 60A of power, so if you set powerlimit to 120 and 90, you should be ok. You will have problem connecting them, though, since you have only 4 pcie cables. Try connecting 1060s to separate molex cables through adapters. My Corsair TX 850 is running six 1060s with PL set to 100W.

Just go with Ubuntu, install 378 drivers, no need to install Cuda for ZEC mining. I have not noticed higher hashrates, but at least you will set yourself free from Windows.

Hello again, it seems that one or more of the algos in ccminer package is very sensitive to overclocked core, some of my cards either go offline completely or get stuck in P8 state. Memory is not overclocked, only core. Anyone noticed this? Which algo could be the culprit? Thanks.

Everyone, including myself, has jumped on board mining in probably the last week or less. Cards are sold out. Prices are crazy. For those who have been in the game for a while, have you see a rush like this before? And if not, is it safe to believe difficulty will jump significantly in the next month as everyone gets their rigs online?
What can we expect difficulty to be at by September 1?
Do not worry about difficulty until you see downward trend here: https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/

Sorry for the trouble, I downloaded the files, set up my wallet and started off. How does payout work? How much can I see the earnings on my account? Is there a way to monitor this?
