161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rule of writing your own posts is stupidity? on: March 24, 2018, 12:22:06 PM
I don't think so, these people are after their image and when they are allow people to do what they want, abuse is bound to happen, I have seen this first hand when you see people abusing bounty campaigns, and since this people are after the image of their brand they need to come up with their own rules
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: March 24, 2018, 12:01:53 PM
We can see signs  that confidence is returning into the space but the bullish trend need to be confirmed, most people are concern only about the tokens they are holding. Ethereum is now suffering because the ICO market is struggling as we can see ICOs have started postponing their ICOs because they are now raising that much money again from the space
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo and Gas on: March 24, 2018, 11:56:05 AM
Gas value is growing, so if not for anything for the monetary value, I keep holding NEO for Gas in my account. Though it is still unclear the future of   most tokens in the space since their usecase is still full of question marks but for now I am good with the value attached to them
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trx or Neo quick return on: March 22, 2018, 09:01:51 PM
Though I think NEO is a better project than TRX but it will be foolish to ignore TRX also, do not put all your egg in one basket, spread your bet and invest in both project, this psace one thing I have learnt is that do not undertare any project with strong community base
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: March 22, 2018, 08:57:27 PM
What is not a scam, that is my own question. There is no doubt that many projects in this space won't amount to anything but to say all is unfair to the space, people are making legit profit in the space, again do know that not all Altcoins do ICO, the likes of Litecoin, Monero and SIA are not ICO projects
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum below $600 on: March 22, 2018, 08:54:51 PM
I don't know why people are so concern about the price of Ether because 4 months ago the price was around $300, we are no tthat down they way people are making it to be, though we are not where we want to be but not where we used to be also
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: March 22, 2018, 08:52:20 PM
For those that bet their projects on Crypto it is not okay at all. Alot of people have turned investing in the space to gambling thinking that if they invested into anything in the space they will make money but this correction has shown that it is possible we are in a bubble
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: March 22, 2018, 04:11:28 PM
I think the price of BTC is subjective, though I think with time we will likely see a dip in the price or one of these Altcoins surpass it but will always be there, also remember there is no project in the space that has so many fund dedicated to its development and infrastructure and business built around, that means people believe in the future of the coin
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: March 17, 2018, 09:55:33 AM
You mean Altcoin, I would have mentioned Bitcoin first but it is not Altcoin, so I will pick the next thing to BTC which is LTC, its success depend on BTC  so I will pick it first and the second is Ether because most of these ICOs depend on it and will only crash to zero when the ICO market ends
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Siacoin (SC) on: March 17, 2018, 09:51:59 AM
SIAcoin is a good project and perfect IMO for long term hold, this is one of the few project I learned about when I enter the space then maybe one ICO in a month, then it is alll about mining of coins, but now the space have changed and no one care about starting from mining again. the good thing here is that SIAcoin is not a secirity like other storage projects that are likely to receive the slegde hammer from SEC
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google to BAN crypto advertising-includes Youtube on: March 17, 2018, 09:43:59 AM
I don't rely think this should be a concern to the space, most of the ICos that spent so much on Advert are low quality ICOs, good project don't struggle to raise capital in this space, even as we can see people are search for the next best thing even before the team announce their ICOs the private sale is already oversubscribe
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: is bountyhive safe for doing bounties ? on: March 17, 2018, 09:40:00 AM
I think they are legit, Colourless is part of the co-founder of the site and I have participated in some of the bounty campaigns in which he was the campaign manager and went well, recent one is Wordcore so I have no doubt they have good intention to expand their own business model.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To use an encrypted currency is a crime? on: March 17, 2018, 09:35:50 AM
I am really confused here, so many conflicting report coming out of Russia. This one is not good because most of these privacy coins are encrypted. But I don't know how this will work out because IMO Russia is a safe Haven for hackers especially if one look at the increase in rate of attacks coming from that part of the world
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptopia... on: March 17, 2018, 09:30:20 AM
Crytopia is one of the old exchange in the space that have not actually scale up the way I thought they would, they become important when they staarted listing some of these low cap ICOs and famous for pump and dump group pumping low cap coins, not surprise that they are a target for hackers, just don't leave your fund on exchanges
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Alts with ETH or BTC on: March 15, 2018, 08:34:52 AM
It will be a stupid move to sell your BTC for Altcoins in the current market situation, if there is one coin that will come out unscratch from this current market slide, BTC is number one, being that alot of institutional money is behind it unlike other projects. Keep your BTC nomatter what
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how many alts will eventually survive in the future? on: March 15, 2018, 08:29:15 AM
I think 1% of the current number will eventually survive, that is the reason I don't blindly support any project, I change as the landsacpe change. I personally feel Bitcoin will survive and with some selected few coins, most of these ICO projects would be affected because they are classified as securities and will not pass the inevitable regulations that is coming to the space
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO regulations and there impact on investors on: March 15, 2018, 08:22:05 AM
I personally think regulation is needed in the space now when one look at it very careful, investors are not protected in any form, just a useless tokens that have no usecase and no share of the project but my concern is that with regulations coming small investors won't be able to get a direct access to some of these good project and will only need to scrap for profit
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is the most anonymous? on: March 15, 2018, 08:15:59 AM
There is just one pick here and is Monero, the only coin close to it is Zcash, the tech behind it is very good and has a very active development, thanks to Masternodes that help sustain the price of Dash, I personally don't rate the project that high as we have seen with the amount of infighting among the community recently
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone has actually lost confident in the Crypto Market? You shouldn't do that on: March 15, 2018, 08:12:14 AM
A lot of new people come to the space in the hope that they will get quick profit but as we have all seen the market has suffered a huge dip and they are leaving in disappointment, alot of people mentioned BTC long term holder but fail to realise that the price has suffered so many dip along the way but they stuck and believe in their investment
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should we take into account when investing in ICO? on: March 15, 2018, 08:07:47 AM
For me the most important thing is the is valuation of the ICO, most of these ICOs as we are finding out now, don't need to be valued more than $10 million, what is showing in the market now is that some of these projects that are over valued the market is now showing the real value they worth. Another important thing is the usefulness of these tokens they are offering, some of these tokens have no real world use they are just created for the sake of ICO to collect people's money
