161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 17, 2019, 03:47:40 AM
I am happy today as finally the total Marketcap is now $200 billion, what can we expect from here?

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/
Be careful, crypto investment has very big risk. Many fund that converted to bitcoin now it is mean that investors who invest in it are looking for profit. To prevent huge financial loss of new investors I suggest to all of them to sell their btc if the price of it fall 20% from the highest point of this bull run. They still can get profit if they keep am eye on the price chart. For me it is not a problem because I buy bitcoin at cheap price Cheesy .
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency user friendly? on: May 16, 2019, 02:45:45 PM
I'm curious to know what the community thinks in terms of how user friendly entering this market is? I know we've come a long way from the days when UX/UI was extremely poor for most companies but are there other areas that require improvement?
All of the areas will be improved. The UX/UI will be better and better. I personaly think that to use of bitcoin is not complicated even children 7 - 10 years old can use it without confusion. But I think it will be more simple and look more beautiful. Many project that build apps that provide ease of transaction to bitcoin users.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: Deflation based currency such as Bitcoin to counter promote economy. on: May 11, 2019, 02:38:39 AM
Currently, all major currencies issued by the government have natural inflation of about 2%.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, is much different, it, in fact, does not have any inflation but deflation.
Bitcoins are created less and less and the number of users does not affect the quantity of creation of Bitcoins.

Inflation on a low level promotes spending while deflation in Bitcoin promotes holding...

My question is, would an economy with a deflation based currency such as Bitcoin work?
Actually inflation is needed to make industries gain more profit. When the inflation is big the the industries will get big profit too but the problem is the value of the money. Inflation makes the value of fiat decrease. Bitcoin deflation will makes industries gain lower profit every years but the value of bitcoin is increase. Actually both are inapropriate for the world economy although bitcoin is better because the long time holders of bitcoin will gain a lot of profit. The best currency is gold, it is good for the world economy buy it is not practical to use. Maybe combination between gold and bitcoin is good.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: May 10, 2019, 07:27:29 AM
I choose these coins because I know they have a great future in the crypto environment:

1.- Ethereum

2.- Monero

I only choose those 2 altcoins, for simple reasons, I think you should choose few coins to make a much more complete and detailed analysis than taking 5 or more, since the attention would be somewhat scattered and more if I do not know the structure of the others.

I think that the coins follow the same bitcoin structure, that is, they have an acceptable antiquity, that have been generated for a long time and that is very reliable for my people.

In the case of Ethereum it has a lot of history, and a particular life given by the amount of projects that it carries. In addition, every project that is generated with altcoins, tokens is an entry of money and operations where it is negotiated with Ethereum.

In the case of Monero, it is the most reliable currency that I know in terms of anonymity, since transactions are impossible to trace, it will be one of the most used currencies because it allows anonymity and free trade.

These reasons are those that I believe are viable to invest in the future, give much more security and confidence.
Ethereum known as the strongest altcoin. But it still nothing better than invest in ICO which there are many people participate in. Token like MTC is the example of it. If I am not wrong, The price of this token go up until more than three times after listed in exchange. Invest in btc or etherum is the safest way for now.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: May 09, 2019, 12:56:45 PM
I sold all of my bitcoin a few months ago after saw the negative market trend  of bitcoin. But I am start to buy bitcoin again because the price of bitcoin is getting up. Now my crypto investment that in form of bitcoin is only 20%. 80% is in form of altcoin. I will sell my altcoin soon to collect more btc.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is blockchain a perfect solution? on: May 09, 2019, 10:02:38 AM
We live in a world where our online IDs are in the hands of the government and banks, and we rely on them to keep it secure. Blockchain IDs on the other hand, put you and you only in control. Therefore, you can store all your passwords and any other personal information on the blockchain, eliminating the need of passwords in everything. In the future, these ID services could be applied to government services, medicines and any other record keeping agency.

Blockchain system exist to combat greed and middlemen and to give individuals ultimate control of their identity and activity. In a blockchain future, we will see a world where our medical records are immediately available if we are in an accident; where online voting was possible; and where transparency was paramount and greed is disincentivized.
Actually there are already some project that use blockchain technology for medicines and health care. People's identity and health record are stored in blockchain. I think soon government also apply blockchain  technology to store important information. And I think it is a good solution. I am sure blockchain technology will be very usefull.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: only the price of Bitcoin is increasing? on: May 09, 2019, 03:38:28 AM
as we see, the price of Bitcoin starts to grow and soon the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 6000 or even more than that, but what is happening now is the price of other cryptocurrency does not increase when the price of Bitcoin increases, because usually the price of other cryptocurrency will increase also when the price of Bitcoin increases, so what do you think is happening now? does the price of Bitcoin not affect for the price of other cryptocurrency again?
It is because people get saturated with token that they ever invest then forget it. People start to collect more bitcoin to join the next bitcoin bull market. After get enough profit from bitcoin then their purchasing power will increase then they will invest in new ICO project. There is no altcoin which can survive without good team behind it. So you better sell all of your altcoin for bitcoin now.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: May 08, 2019, 02:07:24 PM
I think there is big probability that bitcoin will be the number one choice for this. As payment processors, bitcoin give a lot of advantage for us. I think it is not wise to keep use traditional payment processors that not suitable for us anymore. But it seems that bitcoin will only become alternative currency for digital transaction. I guess even google will use bitcoin to pay their adsense users. Maybe be youtuber and blogger don't need to use paypal or other such things anymore to recieve google adsense payment.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: May 08, 2019, 10:29:11 AM
We regularly read FUD articles in the popular media about Bitcoin being used in scams and that it is a perfect tool for scammers to hide their activities and the movie industry already labelled Bitcoin as the Internet of Money for the DarkNet.  Roll Eyes

I am currently watching a series called, "Undercover: Nailing the Fraudsters" and most of the scams featured there are done within a regulated environment. Boiler room scammers are not requesting payment in Crypto currencies to hide their activities, they get the victims to deposit money via their Bank accounts into their Bank accounts. <obviously created with fake ID documents>  Roll Eyes

In business, the term boiler room refers to an outbound call center selling questionable investments by telephone. It usually refers to a room where salesmen work using unfair, dishonest sales tactics, sometimes selling penny stocks, private placements or committing outright stock fraud. - Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiler_room_(business)

So, next time when someone tells you that Crypto currencies are used for scams, please highlight the fact that most scams are still being done under the nose of the regulated financial industry.  Wink
Movie producers just create movie which the content are what people want to see although it is not the true fact. There are many industry that accept bitcoin as medium of exchange so that bad image should be removed. Scammers use anything to scam people so it is not bitcoin fault.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats happend to india and the world on: May 08, 2019, 07:01:44 AM
i heard about india and actually whats happend to cryptocoins not just india but in some other countrys too ithink that take about bitcoin a wrong idea and theres tunisia too their gouverment sayed how that use bitcoin make big toroble that how world move ifeel so sad about that
If we speak truly, some big millionaires are controling the India so they need Bitcoin automatically it will moon. Not only India many high population countries controlling some Big millionaires. In my point of view Bitcoin is reducing the demonitation issue so we use freely at anytime. It take some time to understand everyone so we must wait for future acceptance.
The welfare gap in some countries is big. Its too sad to say that a country is being controlled by some big millionaires. But I think bitcoin can actually benefit indian society, I think if ordinary indian people buy bitcoin then if bitcoin price rise then those people will get profit. So I think if indian government can be stronger and regulate and accept bitcoin as legal money then it will be good for India.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins labelled a gambling device on: May 08, 2019, 04:27:32 AM
https://ihodl.com/topnews/2019-05-05/warren-buffett-claims-bitcoin-gambling-device/

According to the sources Warren Buffet apparently thinks of Bitcoin as a gambling device.
What do you guys think ?
Is this true or something that is disrespectful for our community.

I would say my answer is somewhere in the middle , we are unaware of the fact so as what it might be in the future , in the past 10 minutes but we still hold onto this thing because of hope.
I would rather compare it to share market , rather than a gambling device.
Of course bitcoin investment in general is not a gambling but honestly if there are some newbies who don't know about bitcoin and how it's market works then those newbies start to do day trading then I think it is a gambling. Hold bitcoin for long term is not a gambling because the price will rise but day trading that done by newbies who don't have skill then it is what I call gambling.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To save bitcoin - stop buying bitcoin cash on: May 07, 2019, 10:01:30 AM
Bitcoin will still be the best coin and have a vast market. So I'm not worried about bitcoin cash.
Bitcoin has its supporters and I am sure that many people use Bitcoin as their main currency in the digital world.
So Bitcoin cash is not an obstacle because Bitcoin has the power of hundreds of times better and has support that is thousands of times better than bitcoin cash.
That is absolutely right, bitcoin cash is not a treat for bitcoin or even other altcoin. Generaly people buy altcoin for their investment which meant that the safe point is bitcoin or fiat. Even the best altcoin (ETH) is only a tool for people who want to send their token, ETH will not survive without it's token. Bitcoin cash will not survive without investors who invest in it and hope that bitcoin cash price is rise in btc-bch pair, bitcoin is much more better than bitcoin cash.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments create their own cryptocurrency that will replace fiat? on: May 05, 2019, 01:55:10 PM
In the next 100 years, do you think Governments will create their own cryptocurrency or digital currency that will replace fiat currency, i.e. coins, paper money, the paper dollar,  etc.?

If it does happen, will it be like bitcoin or will it still represent gold like how today's money works?
I think no, government need money that they can control so create decentralized currency is very big mistake. The velocity of money will affect the country's economy so if government cannot control the number of money that spread in the market then it will become big trouble. I learn about it in my university.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down on: May 05, 2019, 11:09:11 AM
Top 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Falling Down

https://u.today/top-10-reasons-why-bitcoin-is-falling-down

-The frontloaded success of cryptocurrency mining
-Regulatory roadblocks
-FOMO turned into FUD
-Rampant market manipulations
-No institutional money
-The ‘Blockchain over Bitcoin’ narrative
-News about the recent stock market crash
-US investors avoiding paying capital gain taxes
-Mainstream media coverage
-Will the BTC price recover?
I think the first reason is the biggest factors that make butcoin price is falling down. Based on my experience in cryptocurrency trading, people who have a lot of coin will try to sell at high price. But actually this is a phase when bitcoin market will reach it equilibrium. Thats why bitcoin price more stable now. The falling price will not happen until the price reach the higher point. Maybe around $50.000.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 05, 2019, 08:37:49 AM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa
I hope those who suffer financial losses in cryptocurrency investment will get their money back. Yes, it is dangerous to buy bitcoin when the price is pumping too much. We should analyze the price chart first before we buy bitcoin. A cryptocurrency expert said that when bitcoin price pump the next thing that will be happen is panic selling then pump again. I sell bitcoin when the price start to fall because the price will continue to fall and I will buy when the price start to rise. This is about the right strategy.
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have 1 BTC in alts should I transfer all to BTC on: May 05, 2019, 07:16:49 AM
I suggest you to only diversify your fund only in BTC and ETH. There are too many altcoin that exist, people will forget altcoins which not popular. So my advice is if you want to get profit in the next pump of bitcoin then you should sell all of your altcoins except ETH then buy more bitcoin. I hope you can think more realisticaly.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 04, 2019, 12:03:10 PM
So, what can you actually buy with a bitcoin? Just few years back, you could not buy much of anything. But, now the time have changed. You can buy anything, from pizza to jewelry and more.

Here is the list of things you can buy with bitcoins. What more can you buy? Don't forget to share your thoughts.

https://medium.com/@odeskpawan1/what-can-you-buy-with-bitcoin-cdb457451b30

We can use bitcoin for almost anything we want but with vendors service. And actually its only in certain place. The store that accept bitcoin is not much. We can pay tuition, electricity bills, buy food, pay services and many more but mostly we need help from vendor. Merchants who accept bitcoin directly are still very rare now.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Crypto currencies in our country. on: May 04, 2019, 09:08:15 AM
There are some place in my country that accept bitcoin. But the number is very small. I live in indonesia, in cilukba.co.id we can buy baby clothes and it also has offline shop in semarang city. Sometimes I use bitcoin for trading, recently I start to trading again because the market is getting better. I think most of indonesian bitcoin users are use bitcoin for trading.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The used of Bitcoin in Africa on: May 04, 2019, 06:09:50 AM
Nigeria surpised me a lot. it is really huge volume comparing it with the rest countries.
Still, I wonder what is real usage of that in Nigeria? Doesn't it look like laundering?
I don't think so, the volume most probably caused by the increasing demand of bitcoin in Nigeria. The landscape of Nigeria made people looking for solution for their transactions. Actually even poor or small country can make huge volume like that if the many of its citizens in invest in bitcoin. I live in indonesia but the volume can't surpass china's bitcoin trading volume because most of indonesian don't know about bitcoin.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: May 04, 2019, 05:15:53 AM
We all know how beneficial it is for us to have a currency like Bitcoin , something that we can use without any interference and without any middle man, but there is always a problem with things that we usually unsee because of the huge benefits it earns to us and this time it's environmental pollution.
Bitcoin as we know it requires mining to continue it's supply , but the thing is mining consumes Tons of energy and thus makes it harder for us to cope up with the stress it is putting up on the environment.
Pollution, global warming  Bitcoin is causing all this , one might argue that it won't be necessary after a while but what about right now ? It's hurting the environment and we have no stable solution for this.
Shouldn't we focus on this too ? Rather than other things ?
I heard many statement like this, come on mate open your eyes. Did you know that the cost that government spend for paper money. Government spends a lot of money for the creation and the maintenance of paper money. Bad or ripped paper money will be burned and replaced by the new one while there is nothing like this in bitcoin. Remittance service also spends high of cost  to move paper money to destination place, it needs car, safety box and police to make sure that everithing it save. But when you use bitcoin then hou don't need something like that.
