161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin implants? on: March 17, 2017, 04:59:21 AM
Nice idea. A bitcoin wallet integrated in your body but I prefer a bracelet type like the one I see in the Passengers movie. They just let their hand near a scanner and then the device is synched with the computer. Pretty convenient and it's very doable because we already have hardware wallets. We just need to make it smaller to be implanted under the skin. A bracelet type would be easier though.

166  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: March 15, 2017, 04:36:53 PM
If you want to be safe, leave it in bitcoin, and just watch it.

If you want to be risky, invest it in another cryptocurrency (trade the bitcoin on an exchange).

If you want to be really risky, invest it in an ICO (initial coin offering).

The higher the risk, the higher the payout. The higher the risk, the more research you should do before buying in.
If you do research a lot and you study the informations that you gathered very well then there is no high risk to consider because you study, do research and you know already whether the coin is a good to invest in or not. A person will face high risks if he/she didn't know anything on what he/she is doing and even just saving or investing in bitcoin can be a high risk also if you don't have knowledge.

Exactly. Only invest what you can afford to loose and only trade small amounts of money until you are comfortable with it. I will invest my bitcoins on BTCJAM when I have enough. It's a bitcoin loan site. I heard positive feedbacks from people about the site. I will try it soon for 0.5 btc.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: March 15, 2017, 04:29:38 PM

168  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 15, 2017, 04:26:19 PM
Maybe these are the people who want to make bitcoin price value to get drop into lowest point. Then while price is decreasing they're gonna buy a huge of bitcoin and after it recovering the price is up again they will sell their bitcoins.
I think this method will no longer work.. users will not be easy to panic just because of this speculation and issue moreover also added a lot of users so this way will not work
It would not really work as of now since most bitcoin users are already aware on this fuds which cause or announce by some trolls. This wont really work as of now because bitcoin users would really hold up their bitcoin no matter whats the price because they know it would increase no matter what.

This is the reality in this forum. People keep saying bitcoin is dead its because of two main reasons. First is they want people to think that its the end of bitcoin so users will shift to altcoins and the person who made that post will profit. Second is to attract members of the forum to notice his post and will make comments. But whatever the reasons there is bitcoin users are not idiots to sell all of their bitcoin and shift into other currencies.
actually these people want to purchase bitcoin in a low price.and only for that reason they spread such news in the market so that they can get bitcoin in a low price.
Actually not. But what they mean about Bitcoin being dead is that they have missed the chance when Bitcoin's price was very low. From what I understand what they are saying is that Bitcoin is dead when it comes to growth investing because right now it can be Value investing which is far more slow compared to the growth before.

So that's why they keep regurgitating the same news over and over again. I think they want people to use other digital currencies that is why they keep telling the same news. I will now spread everywhere that bitcoin is NOT dead.

Move to a neutral country and build a deep tunnel and stack it with 1 year worth of supplies just in case the neutral country is affected by the war.

176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost BTC from getting infected? on: March 14, 2017, 08:10:53 AM
I tried the site Kryptco.in (bitcoin doubler) last Feb 19. It said my bitcoins will be doubled after 99 hours so I deposited 0.001 btc but then at Feb 25  I received 0.002 btc so I believed it must be from the site so I again used the site to double my 0.02 btc but until now I didn't receive 0.004 btc. So I think the 0.002 btc doesn't come from the site. Must be someone donated me bitcoins through my music site that has a "Donate BTC" button. So now I don't use doublers anymore
Dear lord the bitcoin doublers, 99% are scams and 1% involves money laundry so you might have criminal money linked to your wallet rn

Oh I might have posted on the wrong topic. But anyway, yes at least I learned and the bitcoins lost is only $2 worth.

I am also infected with a "Clip Board virus". I noticed when I copied my address and then pasted, it it automatically change to a different address. Fortunately I noticed it before it's too late. I now scan my PC for viruses, evening, every last day of the month.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: March 14, 2017, 07:25:52 AM

that's a valid point we should invest only after having a good experience and feel interested in that domain like some people have interest in bitcoin and they do proper research and earn big time but there are some who have knowledge about bitcoin but they are not interested into bitcoin so they do not invest everything into bitcoin.

That's what I recommend to the newbies to focus their efforts on the businesses where they can get higher returns on their efforts invested. Most of the newbies waste their time in faucets or similar free things whereas they can earn 10X more amount by providing valuable service. I believe that anyone can learn many things, skills from the internet for free and if he is offering it in best possible way then he can make good profits.

Yes faucet is quite time-consuming and arguably the profits were small did not even exist, but it's just for some people who are familiar with and know how to get bitcoin. But as you say "newbie" I think they do not have the skill and knowledge. So I think it is better if a "newbie" looking bitcoin from the faucet because it does not use capital and at the same time "newbie" should also learn to earn bitcoin by a more profitable way. Thank you

Yeah faucets are basically useless and a waste of time. I learned bitcoin through faucets though. Yes they are only good for absolute bitcoin newbies to understand how bitcoin works. They are a way to educate people on bitcoin.
