The migration of Peercoin to the Bitcoin v0.8 codebase has been successfully tested on testnet. The team is now discussing some protocol upgrades like porting over some newer Bitcoin OP codes such as OP_CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY.

Actually the social media campaign including twitter is no longer active. They stop twitter campaign and opening member who have facebook account with payment $100 but i do not hear any participant who have joined in the facebook campaign. Buying of BTC in the Philippines got really expensive recently (higher than global prices) so we will be looking for ways for you to be able to buy Pesobit directly from Philippine Peso and one option is to make use of the Ewallet Cash-in capability since you can fund your accounts directly via bank deposits. Also coordinating with a group of Pesobit supporters for them to be able to act as Pesobit tellers where you can buy Pesobit directly from them and hope we can spread it further to distribute Pesobit to as much people as possible by giving them easy access in buying Pesobit.

This project is indeed still being actively developed.
Due to nature of BitTorrent sharing, we have been experimenting with the possibility of migrating ZEC's zero-knowledge to VTR core to improve users anonymity and try to do without needing of reseting the current chain.
vTorrent 0.9.1z will be the first version to incorporate the zero-knowledge protocol and if resetting the chain is needed, there could possibly be a fork of vTorrent-Classic running by community keeping the 0.8.x chain.
There are some other plan along with this new chain, which is still being in discussion in our team.

How`s the development of this coin is going on? What must we expect in the nearest future?
It is hard to update people on everything that is going on development, but i will try to summarize here. Vcash has turned into a community project now: Besides that, we are trying to release a public roadmap for investors and making some small marketing efforts on the way. Why don't spend 3 BTC to get on bittrex? It will help to increase the volume & price. Looking at the current market is not good for Pesobit at all.
As a long time investor I am so upset. What happened to the money that collected from ICO? Can't spend 3 BTC to get on bittrex?
This has been tried before , it is not just via paying 3 BTC that Bittrex will add your coin to their exchange, there are also a lot of factors too like how many are supporting the coin thru Twits and likes, how big is the community and the volume of trades the coin has generated on other exchanges. Probably soon after the Beta testing with ewalletph has successfully concluded then big marketing and promotions will be done to let other traders and potential investors to join in. Pesobit is not just about trading and investment, main factor also is its usage. |

Encash is what we were all waiting for; PSB value can now rise, gradually as ewalletph.vmoney.com gets used, more and more. When Encash comes out of beta, we can start local OFW countries promotion. That's what I'm hoping for...meanwhile pick up some more cheap PSB and stake it.  I think Pesobit Team must work also to fix / include Pesobit in many exchanges like Poloniex, Bittrex, Tradesatoshi, Bter, Yobit, Novaexchange and many more. So that price will go up fast. Many Traders and Investors are looking for coin markets. Pesobit has only one market working which is c-cex only. It is already included on Novaexchange.com , Yobit has not been good to PSB, its already there but they require a lot to update the wallet, hence focusing now on those two.. Bittrex and Poloniex are tough calls, once good volume are coming in for PSB on those two exchanges, then just maybe PSB will be able to have a slot on Bittrex, right now whales are moving out of Polo and going for Bittrex due those pesky lagging happening on Polo which are costing a lot of losses to traders and whales also. |

No matter how many upbeat posts we post here or nice online publicity campaigns we run with PSB, the biggest result will always come from real people telling other real people about PSB.
Don't just wait for devs to promote PSB. Devs, with coding and websites, provide the platform upon which we can grow - then it's up to us, the community, to share the good news with other people we know, about PSB.
Now that Encash function is live (with daily limit), tell someone about PSB! Good for them, good for you.
Tell someone new everyday - keep the spirits up, PSB is really a unique and needed crypto project!
The PSB Community should start promoting soon this first Filipino cryptocurrency and not waiting for others to do it for them.. the Pesobit dev has his hands full already.. it is up to Us now... to start using the ewallet.ph/vmoney and start promoting to OFWs, only then will there be a change or shift on the current market scenario. |
