161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best crypto projects created in 2018-2019? on: December 27, 2019, 04:28:34 AM
Is there even a fantastically successful crypto project in 2018-2019? I cannot remember a single one. There were a few that made a name but I think they are not as successful compared to the ones that made it to the respected crypto projects in the years 2016 and 2017. I have heard about Harmony and it is quite successful. But it has not doubled its price yet unlike those old years when an admission on a good exchange is enough for a double growth in price.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Outside bitcointalk project exposition, on: December 27, 2019, 04:02:01 AM
Hi.I think that without expensive signature campaign here its too difficult to find investors for new project like my.
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ccuniverse - we are new and rising, now we want start developing so need 2nd part of funds (1st we decide to spend on nice exchange to be ranked and dont be ico anymore because its have only negative conotations now).

What are You suggest me ? I think because bounty hunters people are tired here to get new coins and also because of many scamms in past... its hard to attract anyone here - am I wrong ?
I need some new enthusiasts of crypto to build holders army and people.

Actually here in [ANN] I answered with full story telling and data, in effect person which asked even not respond or just gone. I know we havent bad project and  our situation is positive for potential buyers but we need a source to get to them.

Projects without money but has the innovative, useful, and disruptive cryptocurrency product may still succeed nevertheless. It is hard but if it is properly and convincingly presented to a few yet important people or companies, it might earn their trust and even investment. Angel investors would shell out a good amount. But if it is one of the copied or ordinary projects, it will have a hard time.

I have a question, why is the circulating supply only 19 million when the total supply is 310 million. Where are the rest?
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant? on: December 27, 2019, 03:36:12 AM
None of the above. Ethereum is just a sailing ship. Sometimes, it braves bad weather in the ocean. Sometimes, the weather is good and its sailing is perfectly smooth. I am referring to its price rising and falling. It is not sinking obviously. It is moving forward. Take a look at their lined up updates and you will realize how active it is. It is not a sleeping giant either. It is widely awake. It has yet to get back to $1,400 though.
I think ETH is considered a very good option during this time because investors have been inclined to invest a lot in this coin recently. The market is currently not stable, so it takes a lot of time for things to get better. Personally, I still spend a lot of time researching because ETH has helped me earn huge profits in the past

However, you need to be more careful when investing in the long term because even a small mistake will make you lose more than 30% of your assets in a short time.

That loss in a short time is unavoidable especially if your investment is planned for the long term. A long term investment is accepting the fact that the value of your portfolio will dive and rise depending on the condition of the market. But since you are looking at the longer range it does not matter much for as long as it is growing little by little despite the price fluctuations.

ETH is next to Bitcoin. There is no reason to fear about its progress. It has been number 2 for a long time in the overall rank.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Coming Changes Bitcoin will be backing USA dollars on: December 27, 2019, 03:15:59 AM
The gold will crash and Bitcoin will be backing Up USA dollars so USA dollar will be tokenized and each USA dollar will be backed by bitcoins.

The Bitcoin was made to be new age gold so Bitcoin never meant to be money!

Its Coming 2020 and yes that will be happening

It will not come in 2020 and no it will not come in the years to come either. The last thing that will collapse is the gold. The USA Dollars may collapse in the near future but not the gold. Its value is deeply entrenched in the culture of humans up to the farthest corners of the world.

And Bitcoin cannot become a back-up to existing currencies because it is in itself a currency. And its volatility will make the currency very volatile as well.
165  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 27, 2019, 02:55:05 AM
What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?

Their huge chunks of investments in cryptocurrency will be like the rest; they will become worthless. But again, as what you have stated, this will not happen and it makes no sense thinking about it because it is next to impossible to happen, especially overnight. Cryptocurrency might get weaker in the coming years but the whales will be making the advance steps before it will crash.

167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Under supervision, do you think that anonymous coins have a future? on: December 26, 2019, 02:48:29 AM
Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! According to the current situation, cryptocurrencies are about to be brought under government supervision. Do you think that anonymous coins have a future in this case? How should we choose, thank you for your proposal

No, of course. Anonymous coins are anonymous coins. Take the anonymous from what, what is left? They are nothing. Their banner feature is its anonymity. That is what they market and promote, that is what people are interested about, and that is the main reason why people are using that particular coin. So if they lose that, they will become a useless coin. That is why they will never allow that. They will go dark most probably.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 26, 2019, 02:20:05 AM
2020 is one whole year. It is composed of 12 months. Ethereum will have different prices within the year 2020 and even within the months, weeks, and days within that year. But if you are asking about the possible ATH in the price of Ethereum in the year 2020, I guess that would not be less than $500. We do not know whether the year will have a high or low price but my prediction is that within 2020 Ethereum will reach $500.

300% not bad result for one year .. Smiley
I think a lot will depend on whether the upcoming fork will be done without surprises. If it succeeds, the ETH price will definitely rise. If the bull run does not come in 2020 then $500 is very possible. If the bull run comes in 2020 then at the end of this year we will definitely see no less than $1500

I agree. It seems the fate of Ethereum including its price in the next year will be highly determined according to the result of the hard fork. I am positive though that the fork will come out successful and the Ethereum network will be transformed into a much better one, one that is more advanced in terms of speed especially. If everything will happen according to plan, it might shoot to around $1,000.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: The ballast on: December 26, 2019, 02:01:45 AM
the ballast of a currency is given by the social cohesion of a society.
Bitcoin has no such characteristics, so it has no future.
You can bet against it, you just can't assess the time horizon of your downfall.

The social cohesion of a society does not start well. No society is born with everyone agreeing on something immediately. That is not how a society develops. Everything starts with disagreement. Everything has a different opinion or an idea.

The same with Bitcoin. People started to frown on it, did not believe in it, did not even think that it will grow big and succeed. But time goes by and they started to appreciate Bitcoin for what it is. And that is how the love of the world for Bitcoin started. The cohesion has grown intense from then on.

I believe anything that can stand there and live through people's opinion - will gain its value over time.
I mean literally anything can be part of our value system only if it is around long enough.

Probably. Because in the first place it could not have existed long enough if it is losing value or if it has no value at all. Sooner or later, it would wither away. But if it lasts long then it sure has value. The same with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is considered an illegal transaction's money in the past and was called with different labels but it remains strong 10 years later. Probably the critics need to revisit their arguments against it.

171  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 25, 2019, 04:51:54 AM
Bitcoin will be over sooner or later. This is not a case of whether Bitcoin will exist forever or not. Bitcoin will eventually be replaced with another currency in the future that will perfectly fit the circumstances of the times. The same with blockchain. Blockchain is here along with Bitcoin. But it will also be gone along with Bitcoin in the future. They will go together. Neither of the two will perish earlier than the other.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Loses Data for 267 Million Users, Calls Libra Security Into Question on: December 25, 2019, 04:30:19 AM
Sometimes people are calling Libra as a Facebook project and Facebook as the owner of Libra. I think this is wrong.

People are thinking that Facebook and Libra are one. This is the reason why every time a single incident involving privacy which Facebook is facing, Libra is dragged into it. Libra is a different project. Facebook has thought of it but it will run and be managed by different companies and people.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins getting delisted on: December 25, 2019, 04:09:54 AM
Hi guys i read on the news that major few exchanges are delisting some altcoins that falls to keep up due to present bear market, for example poloniex exchange is delisting Omni and primecoin and others, what do you have to share about this?

Some are saying its good to invest in old coins now few old coins are dying, I believe they've met the end of their roadmap, no more excitement about them, this is why i still feels that newer coins will take the bigger advantage of future greenish market, what do you think?

I don't completely agree. Projects are lasting, whether they are old or new, for as long as they are still developing and continue to be active. If they are not, even if they are years old or still a newly launched coin, they will certainly lose the investors and volume and will finally die. The delisting is a reminder that your project has no interested trader. Most delisting is due to very low volume.

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculation on: December 24, 2019, 02:03:41 AM
Atlant telegram group is very active when responding to questions from bounty participants or their supporters, and this is a positive thing that impressed me. They always say that the Atlant project is not responsible for market volatility. Hopefully, next year they can finish their whole programs and climb to the moon.

they are very active but unfortunetly i think it's too late many investor left this project already and for now the just got accepted into 2 exchange
but both of the exchange just has 348$ volume trading 24h

It is one thing to be active and it is another to have actual output. The team is active but only on the superficial level such as responding to questions. Other than that, I guess they are not active anymore. Investors need results or else they will remain at the bottom with very little volume, in other words a total shitcoin.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ATL] ATLANT World's Real Estate Blockchain Platform Price Speculation on: December 23, 2019, 01:08:06 PM
Btw, I doubt the project will be able to recover their situation,
If they will continue to work on it, it's possible that the project will recover even if it will take time.

it is not a smart idea to launch a real estate crypto project in bear market.
I don't think so, if they launch it, this means it's good for investors as they are seeing some result, if they work for the project to grow, the launch is just the first step for its journey and if it will survive, there's a chance it will be successful, so for me, it's alright to launch at this time.

Besides, we don't know when the market will be bearish again, and at least when that time comes, we already have something to show to attract investors.

Atlant had the chance to attract investors before. They failed before. I don't see any special reason why they will be attracting investors this time.

Atlant does not have to recover right now if they were successful in the past. They were not. They need to show and do something big and special this time or else they will remain dead.
