161  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of Crisis and uncertanities toilet paper can be new currency on: January 17, 2024, 03:01:47 PM
Imagine in your village something happens then Im sure you can use to exchange toilet paper to food becouse toilet paper have Same value as oil food or some other commodities and in times of Crisis toilet paper value it's even higher.

So i bought a lot that in my basement lol ...i can borrow this with % and set up the local exchange rate in case for Crisis Im not expecting to see Crisis but Im just telling that's good valueble Asset.

Maybe it's just OP assumption and let's look at the current reality as @Helena Yu said in terms of price and needs and culture. If you assume it's valuable, maybe at your place that's true, but at my place the use of tissue is not very significant, only for one thing or another and what we have to prioritize is storing rice reserves and other primary needs and I think that's the main need that needs to be prepared.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin EFTs are bad for Bitcoin as a decentralized digital currency. on: January 17, 2024, 02:50:38 PM
Futures ETFs and spot ETFs are as far from Bitcoin's intended purpose as you can get and they serve to make banks more money while giving them more control.

The reason it may sound classic is because Regulation will allow crypto to be accepted into the mainstream financial system of banks and indeed everything is volatile. And I think this approach should be done in the same way as we handle profits and losses on investments and if we want to profit from you have to stay at the forefront of trading where the reality is that ETF products are currently probably more preferred by novice investors even though at this time BTC price still hasn't risen significantly.

163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does inactive users deserve merits? on: January 16, 2024, 05:26:03 AM
It's not just about being active; the merit should come from the quality of the posts. If a post brings new knowledge, offers advantages, or provides a good explanation, then it deserves recognition.

Of course, make it a habit to read a lot so that we have a strong reference when something is discussed or asked. Must be good at asking and answering and that is the added value.

Everyone's perspective matters, and it's a way to encourage insightful and helpful contributions.

Sure.. Wink

164  Economy / Speculation / Re: So I guess we sell at $48626 ? on: January 16, 2024, 05:19:05 AM
we can't predict the crypto market price exactly but the fluctuating market gives a signal after the price reaches ATH in the previous halving period, so the possibility for a new predicted price will definitely be higher than the previous ATH, so it is the easiest scheme to predict the crypto market even in the week then the price of bitcoin almost reached $50k, we are in a position where the market price is above 75% reaching the ATH so keep holding gold hands until the ATH has been reached.

That is the specialty of the cryptocurrency market, especially BTC. Focus on the initial goal, don't let us initially want to invest long term, but when we see floating profits, then we change our minds and sell it, and in the end regret it, if Bitcoin reaches a new point.

Well, I think for now, if we look at market conditions, it's better if we have a picnic first or do something that makes us happy while waiting for BTC to rise above 50K, whether in the next week or 2.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Isn't it exciting... on: January 16, 2024, 05:09:16 AM
Not long until the ATH again eh!

Certainly Sir Grin Grin,. A fun investment option. Just need to be patient for a few more moments to reach the highest level againt.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto: a place where everyone makes money, but few secure it on: January 16, 2024, 04:46:59 AM
Experience without financial learning leads to huge losses. and I consider this also a reality, sometimes it tastes bitter and sweet. However, from what you wrote above, at least you need to have a good understanding of finances. As you said, it is recognized that the crypto space produces various characters and typicalities where we see many who achieve great success easily but still continue to fall into financial failure due to lack of knowledge.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the view of an average citizen About crypto currencies on: January 16, 2024, 04:40:04 AM
You have good expectations about the great potential of BTC in the future and that is the reality. Yes. The value of all these amazing features is captured in the value of Bitcoin and that is why many predict its price will become even more valuable in the future and for the volatility that still occurs frequently like today, I think it is very natural when it goes up and down.

Just sectoral ego. Currently, there are still many who do not really understand this great potential and I personally still consider it normal, especially if there are still some people with the views of the average citizen who are still skeptical about cryptocurrencies as they are now. However, over time I have confidence that the paradigm will change by itself.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins and other cryptos will never become mainstream before... on: January 16, 2024, 04:27:33 AM
Look at the future of this blockchain technology. Was it born of a more liberal alien civilization which I interpret from your statement as a disruptive event for most other industries but Bitcoin is more than just a digital currency friends.

I don't like to discuss this in the political realm, there is quite a lot of drama there and don't think that it is the main source of failure in meeting the needs of society as a whole and you compare it with the history of money in other realms for now, but I am also very confident that this technology will quickly be adopted universally only However, there are still many banking countries that are still reluctant to embrace this alternative.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: January 15, 2024, 09:14:55 AM
Exactly, some altcoins offer greater returns than bitcoin, however, I feel that people will choose altcoins especially new altcoins as investments but not in large amounts, because it is very risky. On the other hand, bitcoin, which until now we call the king of crypto, has a better offer than altcoins if invested in large amounts with less risk. However, bitcoin and altcoins have their respective advantages and disadvantages, however, bitcoin plays an important role in the price movements of altcoins.

Cryptocurrency trading takes place 24 hours a day. We can gain more profits from our digital asset portfolio by choosing investments anywhere and most importantly, our net profit in the end. Despite the fact that there are new coins listed on exchanges and they seem to have potential, I think it is safer to stay in BTC because besides being able to accumulate when it goes down, long-term holding will give us good profits. .

Even if we trade, we are always required to be patient, waiting for setbacks or corrections will always be a good decision so that our trading is safer and for the difference in profits generated, the only difference is who is the first to make a purchase in a new coin and is the winner.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons for personal financial accountability? on: January 15, 2024, 08:59:39 AM
Saving, investing and not spending on things that are not really important is the best way to practice. At least this can help us gain a sense of financial security in the long run even if our sources of income dry up for some time. Learning good financial management is important - hands-on practice is a must.

Well, that's what we most often fail to do, the dominant thing being that if we already have some funds, we often forget to set them aside for saving and investing and the reason is also very rational, it's not enough for our monthly needs.

Being responsible about our own finances has never really being optional, it is just that many people are just realizing this is the case now, people have become so dependent on the governments for their own survival that they have forgotten what it is like to take control over their lives, and one of the most effective measures which can be taken to remedy this is to take control of your finances, because if you can reduce your expenses, and then use any spare money to invest and do so for decades to come, when the time comes for you to retire you will do it under better conditions than most people that earned the same amount of money during that period of time.

If he works for the government but has an entrepreneurial mentality, he just needs to apply for a business loan from the place where he works. So it was also an opportunity to develop the business he had started previously. as long as the management is appropriate and on target and in the end the business runs smoothly and the loan is paid off and the worker retires later without a loan.
171  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on? on: January 15, 2024, 08:46:18 AM
I'm one of the lucky people that added   Bitcoin from that decline mate and guess what I even add more now as the declines back and making the market uncomfortable for those who wanted to sell out.
this does not matter for me who is the reason or what is but for me the opportunity is what make this important event.

I think it's just demand and market value. When it is felt that it is high, many speculators throw away their assets to sell, causing other holders to join in so that price reversals quickly occur. but it's still very normal.

There is also a lot of speculation that this is confirmation that bitcoin ETF applications will be rejected again?

This market allows investors creating events to make bets based on the outcome. For this matter, I don't know if there are any that haven't been approved, but in the past 2 days, the majority of the crypto market has still weakened, where there is still a sense of concern that continues to arise even though the SEC has previously approved 11 Bitcoin Spot ETFs.
172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust social media on: January 15, 2024, 08:21:47 AM
To believe in social media is everyone's right to privacy and indeed new users are always faced with limitations, yes. Everyone has a beginning and sometimes getting a reliable source is also difficult, so many beginners make mistakes at the same point and are very easily attracted if someone wants to help solve the problem. However, if they want to cultivate a habit of reading a lot and diligently, I think it is very easy to implement to invest properly and correctly in this crypto world.
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just HODL on: January 15, 2024, 08:10:58 AM
In hope of high profit, many investors do future trade with high leverage which is very ricky. Sometimes they make a lot of profit and sometimes they lose their money because of liquidation. So I think I agree with your words because those who want to trade if spot  trading then their rick is very less and the chance of losing all their money together is very less unless they see good projects and invest then if they have patience they can come out with profit sometime.

Of course, there are a lot of losses, especially if market conditions are unstable and the trading pace is very frenetic, such a negative balance is a fairly big risk especially if you set high leverage. Personally, when trading, I prefer to trade spots safely by taking advantage of market conditions, where the more the price moves, the more profit can be made from trading. If the price has not moved significantly, like the title of the OP post above, just HODL our assets and wait for a while. which is appropriate if you really want to execute it.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Approval; Price dumps, what Next? on: January 14, 2024, 06:13:36 AM
The ETF effect has been approved and has been targeted for a long time to dump Bitcoin significantly with news hoaxes of drastic increases in altcoins, we are just waiting for Bitcoin's final correction before the halving or after. and we will see a better market in the next year that is even bigger Wall Street businesses could have control

Yes, this is only a temporary condition due to yesterday's euphoria after the ETF was approved and I admit that it is very complicated to predict the price of Bitcoin correctly in the future, but I am personally optimistic that in the long term, BTC will be able to give birth to new enthusiasm, even though at first glance mass adoption is currently seen as still not enough to encourage Bitcoin. Indeed, technically it is still bullish and a profit-taking moment is also needed to earn more money to accumulate potential coins or tokens.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: January 14, 2024, 06:01:48 AM
The recent decline was triggered by several factors, sometimes the illiquid market makes BTC experience an unexpected rise or fall in a short time, but if there are practitioners who justify BTC's rational drop to zero for BTC, it is not possible because BTC is still very young. So , the move that we're seeing now is a very big step into what I see as a growing market. Not a specific suggestion or invitation but wise continue buying BTC and use the method you enjoy most while the price is still good enough today for you to add to your portfolio.
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of excitement on: January 14, 2024, 05:43:04 AM
It's not yet OP and there's still a long way to go for a coin with this potential. They are just the beginning and I am very sure that soon BTC will get stronger. A few days ago, maybe it was just a moment of hype after the ETF was launched. What we need is to continue buying BTC if there is still excess funds because Bitcoin is heading to the moon and the SEC has officially approved all Spot ETFs and enjoy this journey.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stay poor! on: January 14, 2024, 05:33:01 AM
Poor and rich are decorations in life, rich people will always try to survive in their current status by trying to expand their sources of income. Meanwhile, poor people want to try to get out of the poverty line by doing something to increase their income. But in the nature of life, not everyone can enjoy wealth and not everyone remains in poverty.

Apart from that, in my opinion we or other need maximum prayer and effort if you want more, of course exactly as you said above, namely trying to expand your sources of income. So, if someone feels rich then give this opportunity to those who want to do it. In fact, this is where the problem arises. We often find that there are still many rich people who are reluctant to help, indeed at that time there are still many items that investors need to evaluate regarding the shortcomings of the initiator, but if they want to take a step back, I think that would be very good.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Useful side hustles to sponsor a BTC investment dream. on: January 14, 2024, 05:20:55 AM
Honestly I'm not gonna stray too far anymore and just include bitcointalk/altcoinstalk signature campaigns in the equation. The fact that you don't even have to burden yourself from transferring fiat and converting it into crypto cause your campaign manager's going to pay with bitcoin from the get-go. Bounty campaigns are equally good as well but honestly the added risk of the project not getting enough recognition or outright rugpulling just makes signature campaigns more desirable by a longshot.

And it takes a little luck for each application during registration to be accepted into a campaign, especially a potential one, and I think you know the direction of my conversation. It cannot be denied that this campaign provides something more and makes it easier for us in terms of adding additional income.

However, so far I personally am also trying to find additional side jobs of a technical nature (not the digital world as OP said) which in the end I will also invest in potential coins at this time, especially i look good utilities. I means, When the project has great utility, investors will believe in invest the money, so it's not a pump and dump project.

180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor talks about Bitcoin, and you WILL be disappointed on: January 07, 2024, 04:45:33 AM
wow he learned something in 2024.. im shocked, but in a pleased way
now he should apply that knowledge to core devs that are paid by a business..
and then look specifically at their "force merge" code upgrades those devs done

The bottom line question is Will the scaling problem be addressed and is it necessary now?
