1601  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider Bitcoin the best asset in the world? on: April 05, 2023, 12:16:45 PM
Think of it this way, if you had to put all your money in a single asset, would you put it in anything but Bitcoin? I already made that decision years ago by putting just about all my money in Bitcoin. But how about you all? Where do you land on this question?

If I had to put all my money in a single asset I don't think I'll put it all in Bitcoin. I've never really thought of it this way but if I must choose one I will choose real estate. There's the high capital and maintenance issue in real estate but I feel its a relatively less riskier choice when compared to bitcoin.
The volatility rate of bitcoin is its biggest disadvantage. You are more likely to loose all your money in bitcoin than real estate. Then there's the issue of different government regulations on bitcoin and also the security problem. You are more likely to get hacked when dealing in bitcoin than real estate.

That aside, I don't think putting all your money in a single asset is such a good idea. History has taught us that there is no investment too good to fail. Try to diversify your investment.
1602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possibilities and chances ! on: April 04, 2023, 09:19:38 PM
It's a good thing to always considers the world economical situation before engaging on any further analysis of predicting how the future may be, but in this regard, it's not much applicable to bitcoin network because it has it own separate economy other than fiat, which is a decentralized network of blockchain, bitcoin price is not moved by other economical factors or assets because it's independent of any other asset, demand and supply is the determinant of bitcoin price among other few considerations or factors.

This is not entirely true. The things happening in the economy affects bitcoin. An interest increase affects bitcoin, the pandemic affected bitcoin. Like you said, "demand and supply is the determinant of bitcoin", so is every other asset in the world.
Put in simple economic terms, when the demand for bitcoin increases, the price increases, when the demand reduces, the price reduces. Now different factors can determine the demand of bitcoin and that is where the factors affecting the economy comes in. No matter how decentralized bitcoin may be, the people that operate in the industry are people that cannot escape the economy because they live, work, make and lose money in that same economy. So if these players in the economy are affected by different economic factors, it will tell in the economic decisions they make and their decisions can also affect bitcoin price.

Having a goal and working towards it can get really hard sometimes, it all depends on how prepared your mind is.
I am of the school of thought that no good thing comes cheap. You have to fight and pay the price for it. You have to always belief and be positive about your goals. There will be setbacks on your journeys, obstacles will come, but you're well equipped to handle every thing that comes your way.
The fact that you shouldn't give up doesn't mean you will keep on doing the same thing and hoping for a different or better result, Nah. Yea, everybody should work hard, but everybody should also work smart.  Hard work alone won't get you were you want to be if you're not smart about it.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 04, 2023, 10:57:20 AM
Although not many people is talking about this, today the 2nd leg of the Copa del Rey between Athletic de Bilbao and Osasuna will be held in San Mamés stadium.

Athletic Club is the 2nd team in victories (23 titles) in this competition, only behind Barça (30), but it is also the team who lost most finals of the Cup ever, last time in 2021 when they were defeated twice in the same month because 2020's final was postponed due to Covid. In addition, they haven't won this competition since 1984, so the fans are eager to win the trophy again after such a long time.

It won't be easy to get to the final though, because they are already a goal behind from the 1st leg. But it will be a beautiful match to see. There is more life beyond the Clásico that everybody is talking about.

I think that match will be like the first leg; no much goals. Both teams don't score much in matches like this.
I tip Bilboa to win but I can't say for certain if they will qualify for the final. Osasuna on the other hand can be very defensive when they have to. Bilboa will press more while Osasuna will hold on and try to make use of the counter when they get the chance. They cant press too much because Bilboa have very fast players up front that can hurt you on the counter.
I believe the match is going to be more interesting than the first leg because most teams will lie to give their all since its the last leg and final chance to get to the final.

Liverpool have shown firm interest for Napoli"s Kim Mij-jae.
The South Korean have really impressed a lot of people in his first season at Napoli and that has led to interest from Paris Saint Germain and Liverpool.
Only Liverpool have contacted Kim's management to tell them of their plans. He's not going to come cheap and Liverpool knows this. There's a clause in his contract that he can leave for 53 million Euros in the first two weeks of July but I think Napoli would like to get every penny they can from Kim if they want to sell, so they'll stall the deal to exceed the two weeks so you have a choice to pay their asking price of 90 million Euros.

Someone said ones that most of these professional traders that have courses make more from selling their courses than actual trading. It was funny at the time but its true.
Its a pandemic in the forex space. On twitter you'll see a caption like "become a forex trader from scratch in 7 days". What on gods green earn is that bs? Now when you register for their courses they will teach you the basis things about the market, things you already know. At the end of the seven days or on the fifth day they will say things like to go advanced into the course pay $50-$70. The people that fall into that trap will pay for the course and learn nothing in the end. All these are different forms of fraud available these days. It pains me that people fall for these shit.

I know that there are real genuine courses out there handled by real, actual traders and that is why I don't generalize because it will be too unfair to people that actually put in the work to impact others but you just have to be careful with who you give your attention to these days.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 03, 2023, 09:06:51 PM
Don't know what happened to Napoli because they had to lose a landslide while AC Milan can be said to be having a goal feast at home to Napoli and this is obviously really surprising outside of prediction where Napoli had to concede 4 goals without reply and Napoli actually outperformed statistically but it had to submit on Milan with its defeat.

We can draw with this game and in the Champions League later of course there will be a little difference later it's just that now Milan will be quite confident after beating him in Serie A, is it possible that this will continue to the champions league?
Napoli must immediately anticipate and make mistakes in yesterday's match because Milan already has great strength and this must immediately be how Napoli can rebuild its squad.

To tell you the honest truth I was shocked by that score line. I mean, I knew Milan could win the match but not by that goal margin. Napoli did not even play badly, Milan just used the opportunities they got and scored. Milan also looked more hungry from what i can tell. The Napoli of yesterday was a different Napoli from the Napoli of this season.
I guess the absence of Osimhen is a factor as to why they couldn't score at least one goal.

They better not take this kind of performance to the champions league or else they will be eaten alive. It can be excused in the league because they are 16 points clear but any slip up in the UCL can eliminate them.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 03, 2023, 10:36:31 AM
I think, the decision Chelsea president took by fire Graham Potter is very good because he gave the coach enough time to prove himself as a potential coach he claimed to be but he failed. The problem of Chelsea is not the players but the coach, I think their president will take time to search for a talented coach that can work on the team to recover from all their losses in this season. If Chelsea can get a coach that will be active like Manchester city coach in this period, I believe it will help them to display well again, because they have potential players that are ready to improve the team.

If I was the owner of Chelsea I would have fired Potter a long time ago. They should have fired him sometime after the world cup. But it was a good thing they gave him enough time so he wont have any excuse for playing so badly.
He was very good at Brighton but he was so poor at Chelsea. All they play at Chelsea was busy football, they always seem o be doing something but they're not actually doing anything. They jut pass the ball around without actually creating chances to score goal. Then there is the poor defending. A team that has spend that amount of money on defense shouldn't be conceding that amount of goals.
Chelsea should take their time and look for a very good manager that can actually rebuild and work with the signings they have gotten.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 03, 2023, 10:14:48 AM
When it comes to scoring goals Lewandowski has always been good, he has always known to be a goal scoring machine. Lewandowski is a great player and it is possible that before the season end he will increase the amount of his goals. Lewandowski is one of the reasons of Barcelona victories in their games.

With Injuries ruining the season of Pedri and Dembele we can clearly see that Lewandoski is struggling a bit when it comes to scoring goals. Pedri and Dembele are Barcelonas most creative players, they create a lot of chances for Lewandoski. So its totally possible for Benzema to catch up and even overtake him. Benzema is also a good goal scorer and it seems he begining to get back last season form.
Its going to be fierce battle between Lewandoski and Benzema for the pichichi award this season. If both Pedri and Dembele gets fits and starts playing soon then the chances of Benzeman winning the pichichi reduces even further than it already is now.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 02, 2023, 09:40:47 PM
If i am given 20 different chances to guess the score line of the Napoli vs Milan game I wouldn't have been able to guess it correctly. The fact that Milan won is not a big surprise, the amount of goals Milan scored is not a surprise, the surprise was the fact that Napoli couldn't score at least one goal. Napoli have never conceded more than one goal this season and failed to score. They always score at least a goal. I guess the missed Osimhen or they were just poor. If it's the Osimhen factor then they are in trouble because they play Milan again in the champions league next week and Osimhen will most likely not be back by then because it has been confirmed that he will be away for a couple of weeks.

after the 0-2 against aston villa and almost 7 months on the bench, fc chelsea has sacked coach Graham Potter. on sunday evening, 'the blues' announced the separation from the 47-yo coach, who won just seven of his 22 premier league games...

What took them so long?
Potter was a disaster. His Chelsea team won only seven out of twenty two premier league matches. In seven months he managed to take Chelsea to 11th position on the table. Chelsea don't create enough chances so they can't score goals
I always knew he was going to be sacked, it was inevitable. The future wasn't looking looking bright at all. With the players Chelsea bought they should be able to win most of the games they lost. Chelsea couldn't even win games against the worst teams in the league.
So Chelsea will most likely hire Julian Nagelsmann which wouldn't be a bad decision but I still don't expect much from Chelsea this season. With Potter sacked they have a chance in the champions league though.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 02, 2023, 02:58:10 PM
I really wanted Dortmund to win, but it's obvious that they can't compete against Bayern.
Dortmund's goalkeeper made a silly mistake, which ruined the game for Borussia. Also many mistakes in defense and the middle of the field.
The total domination of Bayern is what makes me annoyed by the Bundesliga. They are the richest team and they keep buying the best players from their competitors. The Bundesliga is interesting to watch only when Bayern is suffering a crisis. Grin
Maybe Thomas Tuchel is the right coach for Bayern, he has experience leading other big teams like Chelsea and PSG. Only a really weak coach would help for destroying Bayern's dominance over the Bundesliga. Grin

At this rate, another team in the Bundesliga that is not Bayern will win the league before Dortmund. I have constantly said how I have very little faith in Dortmund when it comes to competing for the Bundesliga title.
Take nothing away from Bayern Munich, they're a very, very top team that deserves whatever glory they're getting but Dortmund makes it a little too easy for them. I was very certain Bayern was going to win yesterdays match and climb to the top of the table because Bayern are in that kind of form right now, added with the boost of a new manager.
There was a time this season that Bayern where out of form, that was the first month after the world cup, that was the point that Dortmund would have made use of the opportunity but they did not make use of it.
This happens every season.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 02, 2023, 02:11:05 PM
Lazio seems to have the opportunity to widen their point difference with Inter Milan. because Inter milan didn't manage to get points in yesterday's match against Fiorentina. currently the point difference between Lazio and Inter Milan is 2 points. but today Lazio has a match against Monza. and I think even though Monza will play at home, that won't make them the favourites. because Lazio will definitely try to get full points in this match to secure the 2nd place they currently occupy and so that they have more point difference than Inter who are ranked 3rd.

The game between Monza and Lazio is 1-0 right now, in favor of Lazio. If it finishes like this then they will be five points ahead of Inter who have let inconsistency deter them from been safe in the champions league sport. AC Milan plays Napoli in the last game of today and if somehow Milan manages to win, they will leapfrog Inter and climb to 3rd on the table with one point difference. That can make things complicated for Inter because Atalanta and Roma will be on their tail. If Inter doesn't seat up for the rest of the season then they will find themselves playing in the Europa league next season.
Like I've always said, they only certain spot in the Serie A right now is the first position which Napoli have owned, but Lazio is looking to establish themselves on the second position and leave the other four teams to fight for the third and fourth spot.

Lionel Messi returns to Barcelona is of nothing, what will he be coming  back to do ? . Instead of Barcelona he should just follow Ronaldo's step look for a club that can offer to pay him very well .
Barcelona needs young players to strengthen the team more, not people like Messi that is losing strength in performance as time counts.

I guess you've not been watching Lionel Messi. He may be getting old, he may not be as strong and good as he used to but he's still an asset every big club in Europe will like to have in their team. There may be a few downside on Barcelona if they sign Messi, but his performance is not one of them. Messi is still among the best players in the world right now. You saw what he did in the world cup, you also saw his performance for Argentina during the international break (if you watched).  Right now Messi has over 50 goal and assist this season, and that is his bad season. How many players in Europe today have over 50 G/A this season alone?

Messi would be a very big asset to Barcelona but the problem is, they might go back to the way they used to and just keep relying on him, making it difficult to strengthen the squad because the weak links won't be noticed much. Another issue is that players like Raphinha, Dembele and Ferran won't have enough playing time to develop because Messi would be a starter ahead of them. Also, Messi's salary might make it a little difficult to recruiting big players because there might be no money to pay them and Messi.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 01, 2023, 10:25:00 PM
Scotland fully deserved the win.Luis Enrique experiment needs time to bring to life a super Spain as he is betting on the really young players and they need time until they harmonize together,I think he has the blessing of Spain as he is going to be considered a new hero as I am pretty confident in the next World Cup we will see a super Spain.I don't believe we will see a really dangerous Spain in this Euro although I think they will have not the slightest problem in qualifying for the Euro, who knows maybe the experiment of Enrique come earlier than predicted and Spain maybe wins this Euro cup but against a super performing France I doubt anyone has better chances than France to win this upcoming Euro 2024.

The problem with Spain have always been their attack. Even the super Spain of 2008-2012 didn't have much attackers. They always play a midfield football. The difference between those two teams is that they had so many good midfielders back then that could dictate the game and also create dozens of chances for their teammates to score and they also do score. People only talk about Xavi, Iniesta, Busquet, we know these guys were phenonium but they also had Fabregas, David Silva, Alonso. There attack was just Pedro, Villa and Torres.

This present Spanish team don't lack the midfielders but they don't have that level of experience and not many good midfielders are they did back them. So now they actually need an attack that can compliment the midfield they have. An attack that can score goals. They also need to learn how to be more direct.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 01, 2023, 10:07:40 PM
the final score was 4-0 for Barcelona's victory where Lewandowksi scored 2 goals and fati and torres both scored 1 goal. From the game statistics, Barcelona appeared impressive in this match by making 12 shots and being able to dominate possession. from the host, this match was indeed quite tough for them because they were unable to provide strong enough resistance to break every attack carried out by Barcelona.

With this win, Barcelona are back comfortably at the top of the standings by collecting 71 points with a 15 point advantage over Real Madrid in 2nd place. Elche is increasingly immersed at the bottom of the standings with no strong efforts for them to get out of the relegation zone.

I get that Elche is not the best of teams but I have to give it up for Barcelona. Xavi took a lot of risk in rotating his squad but  that did not hinder them from showing their dominance in the game. Barca played better all round. This is the first game this season that Barca have played with a rotated squad in La Liga and they have not struggled. The first half looked shaky but there was no doubt that Barcelona will win the game. The second half was a whole different ball game from Barcelona.

Its good to see players that needed goals to boost their confidence getting on the scoresheet. Fati did everything well but he could not score, so I was happy when he scored because he deserved it. Same with Ferran and Lewandoski.
Barcelona are now 15 points clear till Madrid plays tomorrow
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 01, 2023, 06:53:51 PM
The speculations of Messi's return to Barcelona are now hitting up and it seems likely that a move can happen in the summer as Barcelona President has mentioned that the club is talking to Messi's camp and discussions taking place already. I think Barcelona is also putting in place measures to satisfy every financial fair play rules if Messi is to join eventually.

The Barcelona camp actually believe they can pull this off. It will be a good deal for them if they get Messi back but its going to be a very difficult one. The good news is, Messi actually wants to go back and he's ready to make all the sacrifices for that to happen. I read at article that said Messi is ready to adjust to the financial constraints of the club.
Signing Messi would be good for Barca but only in the short run. Right now they've made quality progress in trying to rebuild their team without Messi and learn to play without relying on a single player, if Mess comes back I think they'll be taking a step backward after taking two steps forward. Don't get me wrong, Messi is an exceptional player and nobody can do what he does on the pitch even at his age but bring him back will halt their progress because the team will now be dependent on him ones again. And since he'll always deliver, it won't be felt in the short run but in the long run they'll feel it.
To avoid that, Barca need to also pay attention on other part of their squad that need strengthen.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 01, 2023, 06:42:38 PM
are expected results in some games like:

Manchester City 4  -  1 Liverpool

although it was predicted that liverpool would lose in this game, conceding 4 goals even with city without haaland is something that i honestly did not expect, that liverpool could lose i even expected it, but conceding 4 goals is something sad and regrettable, this it was a very disastrous season for liverpool, I don't know what kind of measures the liverpool coach will implement so that the next season will be very different, liverpool's defense and attack has been a big disaster this season, in the attack liverpool wasted money with certain hires that are not producing good results
I was only able to watch the Man City vs Liverpool game because i was very busy afterwards and couldn't watch the other matches. Liverpool had one of the worst performances they've ever had this season and they've hard quite a lot this season. The game was too easy for Man City, they should scored more. Despite the error in defense that led to the Liverpool goal, Man City still looked more composed than Liverpool. City played Liverpool with so much ease. I refused to bet on this match because I felt it was going t be a close game but I was wrong. A part of me wanted Liverpool to win so an Arsenal win will further cement their place at the top.

Chelsea 0 - 1 Aston Villa

HT

there are still 45 minutes for the game to end, but as I have been saying, with the current coach chelsea will not be a good winning team, they are just spending a lot of money for nothing, we will see how this game will end, but so far chelsea is losing , they have hardly been able to score 2 goals, which is why I think it will be a very difficult mission for them to leave this game with a victory, the most likely will be a draw or defeat for Chelsea
The full time score is 2-0 in favor of Aston Villa. To be honest, I don't expect much from Chelsea, not under Potter at least. Their recent wins cant fool me. I was able to watch the last part of the game after both goals have been scored and I will say what i have always been saying, Chelsea don't impress me. They lack goal creators and goal scorers. This loss sends them to the second half of the table on 11th position.

1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 01, 2023, 10:21:05 AM
This club was just recently changing its coach. I see no chance for sevilla to come back again and perform like a king of europa league. I'm still all in MU rather than sevilla. I saw how strong MU is to beat all of spanish clubs in europa league easily and this gonna be another team that will be beaten by manchester united. Ten hag is now fully focusing into the winning europa league as it's already entered into the safe zone in EPL. I see nothing needs to be worried. Sevilla was just a team that may go to the relegation zone in la liga.
This will give MU more advantage as the owner will pressure the coach and players to play even better in la liga. Sevilla is targeting to be far away from the relegation zone of la liga. Sevilla is still doing transition under mendilibar.
It seems like that ten hag can use that moment as advantage for MU. Sevilla may also lose against cadiz which will be giving bigger pressure on sevilla in europa league.

I agree with this. Not the part where Man United won all Spanish teams easily though because they did not win Barcelona easily, but that's beside the point. We all know how good Sevilla can be in the Europa league but this season they're having the worst performance they ever had since I knew them. I may be wrong because unexpected things always happen in football but the percentage of Sevilla Knocking out Manchester United is 10/100.
Sevilla is at a disadvantage not only because of their poor form but also because of the good form Manchester United is in. So far none of United's main players is out injured and that's another advantage for them. In other seasons, Man United have not been very lucky when facing Spanish teams but its different this season as they have already eliminated two good Spanish teams.

I don't like people who throw money away like that and laugh at it. Imagine that he's Brazilian and the minimum wage in his country is some $200 a month. Some people are earning that and watching him laugh after losing a million, money they will never have in their lives. These rich guys are so spoiled it's painful to watch. Completely no respect for money. They're wiping their asses with $ bills and laughing at the rest of us.

They owe nobody no respect in this context actually. They're not lavishing government or state funds. It's their own hard earned money. Miss me with the bs of minimum wage in his country. It's his damn money. If one celebrity decides to use his money for charity or decides to use it wisely then it's his business. We have no idea what Neymer gives back to the community which I know he does a lot. when you make a lot of money, you also spend it in a lot of expensive ways.
Before the FIFA world cup final Drake placed a bet of $1million on Argentina to win the match at full time but they did not win. How is that any different from what happened to Neymer? These guys spend a lot of money on casinos, you just know about this one because he brought it out online.
