But are you really? what are you doing for Globalcoin and its community? It's been months since you posted and this is what you come in with? At least fix the first post to remove all the broken links and put the client on a file sharing site like mega.co.nz so people can actually download it instead of relying on your own hosting which seems down more often than not. Also what are your skills in development and programming? are you able to actually make changes and updates to the code? database, heartbleed and timewarp vulnerabilities why haven't they been done? And how about updating the post title? like digitalholdings suggested a few pages back, what happened to that guy anyway? he was pretty active and actually got some shit done like the chainz explorer and new logos or how about minermike? or the other developer roadtrain that made the difficulty adjustments??? these guys all sounded like they were going to be helping out and actually doing something for the coin then all of them just disappeared wtf  Paying hosting bills since launch, Releasing updates or paying for updates/fixes that I'm not sure how to implement, Contacting merchants and online services asking for them to accept GLC, Mining the coin since launch and giving ALL earnings back to the community and much more. I would like to form a new group of marketing individuals and also some community based individual to moderate the new forum and answer questions from the GLC community . Please remember that GLC is a 0% pre-mine 0% profit organisation. We rely on donations from the community to put towards paying for logo's, web design/hosting, marketing, bounty's etc. Since me and Orco had the idea of adding the donation fund the has been 0 deposits from the community and all donations have been from Orco or myself. If the community cared so much about the project moving forward, you would of thought they would make a donation once in a while but sadly this is not the case. Look out for the update coming soon, there will be a subsidy drop. |

I am here, sorry for website down time there was a bug in our database that I was not aware of but has been fixed now and will be back asap. In other news we will have a mobile client for mobile devices making Global Coin truly global allowing you to send payments anytime, anywhere. This is being coded as I write this and will be released before November after closed alpha then an open beta. There is also a official forum being added to the new site where you will be able to communicate better in a less crowded environment but still keep this thread updated with news and updates. It will be a great place to start discussing the future of GLC.

No feedback from devs in over 20 days?
The live network stats website and block explorer have been down for over two weeks
Many of the pools listed are no longer working
coinmarketcap.com is showing stale count for the GLC supply as no website for current coin supply is online for them to use
The websites all have wrong information like 180 million coins when there's 70 million, a new homepage was promised wheres that?
Have devs have abandoned the coin? nothing has been done for months, it's a pivotal time right now with large hashrate ASIC miners just coming onto the scene. In my opinion GLC needs to be among the first coins to swap algorithms over to ASIC resistant GPU friendly proof of work like X11 or groestl otherwise it'll be drowned out among the now hundreds of other scrypt coins and possibly killed off with its currently low hashrate being susceptible to 51% or other attacks. The only thing GLC has going for it now is its age and 0 premine, something needs to be done and soon.
Please.... May 11 was my last post (13 days ago) And my grandfather passed away last week and have been a bit busy as you can imagine. I have committed all my spare time to Global Coin (for free) since it was released. Behind the scenes I am talking with many company's about integrating GlobalCoin into there existing payment gateways. As for the website, its pretty much there but has been put on the shelf for the last few weeks due to the above reasons. As for an Algo switch yeah i'm down if the community demands it... will check it out and will update in the next few days on how it is going, I have an idea that could make the switch real easy |

Second, there is a mistake on both of these pages’ homepage:" Secure, anonymous, fast, acceptable by anyone with an internet connection, and limited. Globalcoin is the ideal money for the modern economy. Limited to 180,000,000 coins to be created over the next 40 year by the network makes ………” total cap is 180 million or 70 million? Third, why do you have such a huge inflation rate when you have a block target that fast? The current inflation rate is 108000 coins per day! .. forth, A forum where GLC supporters can gather ? Fifth, do you care at all about the coin? Sixth, any detailed plan on the future of the coin? My questions are not intended to do any harm, thank you.
Hello there! thanks for the interest. The main site (GLC.IO) is the main one which has been updated with the 70 mill coin cap etc the huge inflation was caused due to the difficulty re-targets being every block as before it was 600 blocks and kept on getting stuck at a high difficulty and no one mining because of this. We/I care very much about Global Coin and are working hard to bring some great useful services to the project. I am currently working on a new homepage which will be finished in a few weeks which will also have a forum attached to it. And a client/wallet update is in the pipeline to slow down the amount of coins generated per day. Hopefully when these new services are live we will have many paths for GLC to go down. These services will be announced within the next few months as and when the services/company's are ready to start taking GLC payments. GLC 180 satoshis   buybuy This coin needs more audience, marketing, etc etc etc. But yes it is great time to buy before it all  we have to do community and make profits I sold my ZET and bought global x20 I think you should hold both. how globalcoin can do audience? where is the creator?any implement? he should do more.... I am doing more... Client updates, New site, Dedicated VPN for GLC, Promoting/Advertising and also working my day job. Feel free to promote and talk about glc in chats/other social sites. Alt coins mainly succeed when they have a lot of supporters talking about the project all over the internets and not just relying on the dev to come up with some amazing service that will revolutionize the coin. I suggest if you want GLC to grow and be accepted on more services, pull ones fingure out of ones bum and help make a better community instead of complaining that development is slow |

This is why users cannot sync without adding direct connections via nodes or port-forwarding. Advise developers re-compile QT client with UPnP dependencies enabled as the ports used by Globalcoin/Litecoin/Bitcoin are usually closed by default on most modems/routers. This would not be a version or code change, just enabling a feature when compiling/building the current QT client that should have been enabled to begin with. UPnP (universal plug and play) resolves connection issues by allowing devices/applications to automatically instruct port-forwarding on compatible modems/routers. Most modems/routers have UPnP support and so re-compiling the client to have UPnP enabled is highly recommended. Users will connect, sync and strengthen the network without needing to muck around with port-forwarding or addnodes. UPnP is enabled by default for pretty much every other cryptocoin, guessing it was just mistakenly disabled when compiling the latest release? Will be added in the next update, which is being worked on and should be released soon |

Minepool has added a new GlobalCoin pool: global.minepool.net version 1.5.3 - Proportional payout per block based on the miner's share ratio to the pool's total shares for each block. - 2% of the block is rewarded to the miner that is the finder. Thanks added to op and site shortly |
