1601  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin survive without the Internet? on: October 14, 2014, 03:03:33 AM
Bitcoin can't survive without internet. Bitcoin is linked with internet.

Indeed , but think about it, this whole scenareo is nuts, there's no way humanity would survive without internet, if internet goes down it can only mean something really fucked up happened. So not even Gold will survive, only weapons and food and clean water.
This is not true. Russia is planning on potentially trying to shut off the internet in Russia in the event of civil unrest. The world has survived for a very long time without the internet.

The economy would be much less efficient, however it would not mean the end of the world

The world has survived for a very long time without electricity. I don't think any of us could imagine such a scenario today.

It will kill business

If I had 1000000 BTC I would be terribly disappointed because that would mean that Bitcoins lose their value

1611  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christian BS on: October 14, 2014, 02:50:21 AM
I've always wondered how Christians come to terms with books or sections lost, censored, and/or banned by early Catholics. The Bible's known to be incomplete, so how can someone take a leadership role of moral authority if the moral authority comes from an incomplete ruleset?

Look up the Gnostic texts, it's a whole new series that the Christians had tried to get rid of

Awful stuff here...

I wish people would wake up and realize how terrible our police is becoming.

Just ask the people they've beheaded recently.

Hard to ask headless people anything, unless you're interviewing a Fox host

If you can find these headless people, I don't see what would be so hard about asking them anything. I wouldn't expect much of an answer, though.

Smiley

How would they talk if they're headless
1616  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Michael Brown shooting , what really happened?? on: October 13, 2014, 03:23:20 AM
The police are ten times more likely to kill you if you're a black unarmed teen

Thanks for payment, I will stay enrolled!

Could you look into my payment though? I was paid for 26 posts, but think I should have been paid for 32 posts.

At least you got paid. I doubt it makes a difference once you hit the 100 posts cap (Like I did)

It really hurts you know, that you don't get paid after all those posts.

NSA Has Undercover Operatives in Foreign Companies

As a much-anticipated documentary about NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden premiers in New York this evening, new revelations are being published simultaneously that expose more information about the NSA’s work to compromise computer networks and devices.+

http://www.wired.com/2014/10/nsa-may-undercover-operatives-foreign-companies-new-documents-show/
This does not surprise me. The NSA has gone to great lengths to be able to 'hack' into most companies' networks and be able to intercept communications of almost anyone. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if they have employees working at US tech firms as well

They're everywhere. Big brother is watching you
1619  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unarmed teen shot by cops for a sandwich on: October 12, 2014, 05:29:11 PM
However, police are more likely to shoot black unarmed teens than armed white rednecks.

So... you are less likely to get shot if you have the means to defend yourself.

Is there some kind of reward we can give you for sharing this valuable information?

The best reward you can give me is spreading awareness. Talk back to the anti-gun social democrat movement.

Meh... I don't think the anti-gun social democrat movement is interested in anything I have to say. I'll just continue to own and carry firearms instead.

Sorry I couldn't be of greater assistance!

Appealing to emotion is the oldest tactic in politics. Every gun control ad has children on them. Every "counter-terrorist security measure" (euphemism for illegal searches) notice has Airplanes or tall buildings drawn on it, subliminal messaging.
