1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest ICO? How to know that this Coins ICO is Scam? on: August 23, 2016, 01:49:26 PM
It is a risk, there is no way to know for sure if there is real development behind many of these ICOs and those that you think have some substance hurt the most.

A lot of the time you can pick up coins at the same price if not cheaper than the actual ICO once it hits an exchange as many people who bought into the ICO will be looking for a quick profit and dump there coins pushing the price down.

There will be a hidden gem of a coin behind an ICO if you are lucky.

1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] ICO Starting in 1 month - Become a Legend! - Save the world! on: August 23, 2016, 01:42:00 PM
So what exactly does this coin provide ? what is it's purpose because you have just listed extinct animals, this is a pretty poor attempt at trying to gather yourself some BTC
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ima little drunk tonight and I have 3 more btc to invest in alts. But which ones on: August 22, 2016, 01:28:08 PM
Glad to see you sobered up and didn't just throw your 3 btc at anything as I'm sure you would have regretted it, so easy to do that when you are drunk.  Now that you are sober some alts that might be worth something, COVAL, STRAT.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mirrax's HIGH RISK altcoin investment guide for 2016 on: August 19, 2016, 11:46:40 AM
This is a pretty cool thread, just looked at Unitus and picked some up, also will look at Nexus, happy I stumbled onto this seems like some solid coins being suggested here.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【CRX】ChronosCoin ★ POS now ★ Penny Auction Site Launched ★ Dividends on chain【★】 on: August 19, 2016, 11:31:33 AM
Was meaning to keep track of this but completely forgot about this coin, looking good so far and is quite a steal at 50ish sats, waiting for btc to confirm so I can pick some up before it shoots up.
1606  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Coince on: August 19, 2016, 07:14:04 AM
Not too familiar with this site but from the op and your comment on the interest rates being increased it sounds like they will be on their way soon, it is just how these ponzis work, some win and some lose, I stopped going near these as I always seemed to be on the losing end.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LOYYAL. The Universal Loyalty and Rewards Platform. on: August 18, 2016, 12:28:59 PM
I think Mr Code will do well to setup a Coval ANN as you say because Loyyal is not on the market and it is confusing for people, still confusing as RBR is not really anymore either lol

Although this does help in picking up cheap coins so maybe wait a while until I work my way up to a million haha

I don't think Shannon wants the grief of an official ANN. This project is quietly doing big things away from the masses which is probably best for now. I'll probably start a moderated unofficial Ann once we have a bit more to show. Damn Bittrex hasn't even changed the logo....it's too confusing to lay out to new people right now. Talk on slack is about adding Coval to a messenger app. At least this will help people see how Coval can reward users in a visual way that folks can understand.
I see your point, it does take some explaining from RBR to Loyyal and now to COVAL, best leave it until it is a bit clearer and Coval is up and running.
1608  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon and bitcoins on: August 18, 2016, 12:20:53 PM
Can't see it happening until bitcoin becomes really popular and they start receiving thousands of requests / questions about it.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICO-List.com - Ultimate list of all the existing ICO and Crowdsales on: August 17, 2016, 01:10:17 PM
Just stumbled across this site on a POST ANN thread, very good idea and extremely useful, thanks for your work on this.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: August 17, 2016, 07:13:25 AM
So we are okay at the moment to send our coins from Yobit to Cryptopia? as it seems like they are on the ball with this.

If I can send  ESP from yobit to my wallet on my PC, most definitely that will be also possible going to cryptopia.

Cool, I will shift them over now.

Nice pump, just woke up and saw this and although tempted I am out on this one 700% is a bit to late to be jumping on board for me anyway.

1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is mining altcoins more profitable than bitcoins? on: August 16, 2016, 02:48:05 PM
Also without having any hardware you are able to rent some power from the likes of miningrigrentals and if you get the right coin at launch you can make a decent amount of profit.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Closed source cryptocurrency - OneCoin on: August 16, 2016, 01:38:06 PM
I have seen some other threads and articles on this 'project' it will end up in misery for those that fall for this and buy into it, it is a likely scam/ponzi/pyramid setup.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: August 16, 2016, 11:34:29 AM
UPDATE

To reduce the sell pressure from the 1 million bounty STRAT. We will be staggering the distribution over the next 7 days.

TVE
Each day 71428 STRAT will be available for withdrawal on TVE. *Starting now*. Once the daily limit is hit bounty particapants will have to wait until between 19h-20h EST for the limit to reset.

Signatures
57142 will be distributed to Signature participants daily, these participants will be selected at random.

Translations
14285 will be distributed to Translation bounty participants daily, these participants will be selected at random.

This new distribution strucure will see only 142828 STRAT distributed to Bounty participants daily. With the current volume and liquidity, this should not have any effect on the market.

Bounty participants please provide me your Stratis address via Bitcointalk.

Good thinking on this, I know that the impending dump on the 23rd would have been worrying some people.
1617  Economy / Economics / Re: What would it actually take to make BitCoin the most used currency in the world? on: August 16, 2016, 08:32:14 AM
I think it would take something like the Amazons and the Paypals to add bitcoin as a payment method and that would dramatically increase the visibility and increase adoption.  Even better would be to have the bitcoin symbol printed on a limited number of postage stamps lol Smiley
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top ten AltCoins on: August 15, 2016, 12:41:06 PM
What about adding in RBR - RibbitRewards soon to be Coval once it rebrands, it is a little sleeper just waiting to be woken up.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you have 1 BTC, what coin will you trade with it ? on: August 15, 2016, 07:48:11 AM
At this point in time I would split it, 0.25 STRATIS, 0.5 RBR, 0.25 WBB.  All of these are long term coins so profit won't be immediate but IF they follow their plan they could be pretty impressive.
1620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned on Mr.Robot Season 2 on: August 12, 2016, 07:26:42 AM
This is pretty cool, I am still on season 1 but sticking with it as I almost gave up as it is quite slow.  I have seen bitcoin mentioned in a few other shows as well, it was mentioned a lot in Almost Human.
