I think it is real. I expect swap to increase rapidly so long as the interest rate is this high. The real mystery is why the bids and asks refuse to settle on a price as they are so close to each other (and the term length differences should be less of a factor as you can probably renew at the FRR in the near future and it has been very stable recently)
Well, yes, this looks strange and daunting: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fh1mRHrgm.png&t=663&c=fWesIcvYN9ENTQ) Still, most of the "offers" are short-term offers, and 2.2M of the 3.3M offers are for FRR. On the "demands" side, we almost exclusively have "30 day" demands. And zero FRR demand. Yes, it's interesting that this isn't resolved.. With the current astronomical amount of offers, they could take out the demands completely, at 1.4M only. Strange times. It'll all change soon enough, when the exchange rates gets moving again, eh? Ente Actually the 30 day FRR offers get taken very fast. The 2 M are very short FRR offers that are there for a couple of days.

I've read in the technical section of Chancecoin's site how payouts are handled. But I would appreciate a more in-depth technical explanation of the following topics. How is Chancecoin at all protected from an individual altering their client to award themselves extra Chancecoin? What is the method of consensus between peers to determine the proper random numbers to use? When a gambler loses how is the CHA verifiably destroyed, and when a gambler wins where does the b*(p*(1-e)-1)*c/(c-b*p*(1-e)) CHA come from? Has anyone read through and verified that the source code was secure? No where in this thread have I seen proper replies to these questions.
I am not sure where, but notsoshifty made an analysis in the beginning of CHA (python client) Also, everyone could create an altering client, but if all other clients reject his transactions, he is essentially on a fork and his "balance in his client" will be different from his real CHA balance.

invest 700000 on bitfinex get 7000$ intrest per week.
And what is the risk for putting 700k into a BVI registered company? Well it sure is lower than the added ROI. Atleast in my opinion and in the rest of the 30,000,000 USD that are deposited there in swaps. There is a big risk when trading with IBC company and 700000 its a big amount.. i dont think that there is anybody who use so much money for trading BTC between exchanges there are a better trading and investing oportunities for 700000...
First of all, what I proposed was NOT trading but using the swap system. Second, sure there is a substantial amount of risk, so is everywhere else, but still the ROI compensates for that risk more than it should be in my opinion. Just curious what recourse users have in the event that they turn "gox". In the event I would write-off my investment. The rest would be handled by the insolvency process.

Serously?
Why do people keep playing dumb like they don't know that paypal isn't final?
You can just chargeback and you will NOT have any implications because of that. To no chargeback on you side (given that you have 0 rep) would be dumb. That is why nearly all newbs with PP do chargeback..

I don't thunk bitfinex pays 1 percent per week. Their rates are closer to 6 percent per year e they do pay that for USD. for BTC you are right

No one said you cant like both I just said I didn't like NXT. Do we have to like using everything?
But almost no Qora supporters are against NXT its just NXT user were the one who often stated that Qora didnt add to the already innovative NXT. My point was dig a bit deeper then that idea is a little flawed.
Problem is no one wants to address that cause unfortunately most involved in Qora actually would prefer NXT to succeed than Qora. Most here are NXT'ers first and Qora fans second. Its hard to get any real strong support of Qora.
I am a NXTer and QORA holder. My main problem is that qora is still closed source. People I trust looked at NXT and said that the code was pretty much bulletproof, a thing I can't say for QORA. Not that I dislike QORA because of that, but I wouldn't call QORA innovative when all we know the code could be completely broken on logical levels..

I have a problem, my offered swap was taken for a few minutes, then closed. Now I am stuck witht the 30 days time frame and cannot close my offered swap anymore. My money is neither offered, nor taken nor closed, it is kind of frozen, listed under "Swaps currently provided". Anybody has a solution for this?
waiting usually helps. If not send a email to support@bitfinex.com

Hey JackJack, are there plans to make the script compatible with the new Forum Software when it comes out?
Absolutely Will it keep the current accounts? Also, New feature Request: Replace the default search here with Google Search
That's a great idea! Yes, it will. Most, if not all info/stats/etc. will be transferred over. I have send a PM to JackJack but no reply. Does it mean that I can't join until I reach 180 activities? Kindly, MZ You can use all features but the vote feature and chat without the password

Sorry forgot to include the transaction screenshot. The transaction was sent to: QPjHuM78wVQamAZh7gP55xXjBiRceqcR6W, which currently owns 713569 Qora (if block explorer is correct). Is that an exchange address?
Do you recall whether this is your ShareXcoin QORA Deposit Address or not? ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I also have a deposit to ShareXcoin that is just sitting there in the deposit address... I guess ziplibrary just pulled the plug before moving the QORA to the holding address. Well I am 99,99% certain that I didn't sent it back to ShareX, because I don't trust new exchanges... But it seems as if that's the only possibility ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) It becomes even weirder, because a few days later on June 5 when ShareX became a scam I said this on the nxtforum: "mikesbmw: [Edit] I got out in time. I bought some Qora there and being a new exchange, I do what I always do and immediately transfer it to my wallet. It's not much, but still 0.5 BTC worth of Qora. Phew!" That was right about the time the fork happened. I assume you and ShareX were on the fork. So, that transaction got invalidated on the correct longer chain, so ShareXCoin scammer has that Qora. At least, that is the most plausible explanation. I doubt you sent that much Qora somewhere and didn't remember it. Yes, this happend to quite some people. Nothing you can do about that except tracking down zip and recover funds ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif)
