1601  Other / Meta / Re: Is word to word copy paste allowed ? on: December 21, 2022, 06:02:11 AM
I don't know why this is allowed. A few people post the exact texts and putting a source link makes them a legal post here which sounds too funny to me. If the OP of the post puts no effort at all and don't put some words from their own, I don't think it should be allowed. If I'm correct, there were few discussion on it but never got the attention from theymos or theynos never considered to review the rules.
The rules are back-dated. If I'm correct, it was allowed so that people can share news and continue the discussion while these days, people are abusing the rules most of the time.
Direct copying from an article to discuss a topic is not acceptable. Also, i realize that directly copying those words and providing the source link is also the same crime. Just note or analyzed: one steals and keeps the information secret and the other steals the information saying that he stoles from the mentioned links. One theft is concealed another is revealing where the theft is take place. In my sense both are equal crimes. If someone provides a source link i would certainly agree with you that at least one should apply their own knowledge. I think copying the same and validating it with a source link is absurd which should be prohibited. But if it has legal validity then some users will try to abuse it. The concerned member of this forum should take initiatives on this regard.
1602  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: December 21, 2022, 05:04:01 AM
This year, October 31st was Halloween Day.  Pumpkin Carving Contest was organized by Bitcoin Forum on that Halloween day.  Many people participated in that contest and based on their work many got many merits.  If you participate in all those events, you won't have to wait long to get high ranks.  I myself participated in that pumpkin carving contest and got more than one hundred merits.  And ready myself to participate in doing better things in the future.
Many Bitcointalk user increase up their rank after joining in this contest 🎃[ANN] Bitcointalk Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest🎃] and I hope you have recommendation all contest link here have contribution with merit points. Indeed have quality post, I think with several contest participants could be easy way how can increase up our level in Bitcointalk, maybe you know what the next contest in this forum and seems Pizza art contest could be alternative trough many merit sending or receiving, could you give me next contest coming?

After a few days Pizza Day will come and I myself will participate in this competition.  And other brothers who are there will participate in the competition because there is much to be learned.  Because you'll definitely know why Pizza Day is here, and invite yourself or someone else to celebrate.  Because if you take yourself to different competitions, you will definitely learn a lot.
Legend members of the forum organize special day celebrations to cheer up the community on certain special days. They have various events like Pumpkin Carving Contest, Pizza Day and Art Contest. In which through participation, members from the junior ranks to the highest ranked join the contest, which is considered a good opportunity to rank up as well as get a chance to show their talent. However, these contests cannot be called regular. As per my knowledge Pumpkin Carving Contest is celebrated for the first time while Pizza Day is celebrated once. No announcement has been made as to whether these events will be held next year. However, since these are annual events, it is hoped that perhaps they continue to celebrate these events.

1604  Other / Meta / Re: Shall we lock all topics about World Cup 2022 in next 7 or 14 days? on: December 20, 2022, 03:32:16 PM
I reported the 3 remaining threads including the thread opened by hilariousandco which is a global mod by himself to close the topic thread since the event has ended and there's no reason to keep it open. I agree to keep the other thread opened "After the 2022 World Cup" since it's different topic now.
Well, let's see.

I haven't even paid the winners out yet so I'm not going to lock it until that's done as people would just panic , but I don't think any thread regarding a major world tournament needs to be locked two days after it finishes. There's still a lot that can be discussed right now so until discussion dies down I don't think they should be locked. All it would do is force people to post elsewhere anyway so it's not like it solves any problem either.
Exactly, I don't know why these world cup threads are the major problem, world just finished and someone is asking to lock thread, so that means there will be no discussion on the just concluded world cup again? And I also see there is new thread created for the After the world cup tournament to discuss the events in the world cup tournament which can be discussed in the old threads. This is a conspiracy... anything that can be discussed in the new thread can even more discussable in the old threads.

Those who reported those threads to be locked including the African Football Thread, I don't think they understand football. Why other clubs side threads are open? When the world cup tournament was going on, other football threads were open for discussion why the world cup and African football threads are different. This morning I wanted to comment on Mbappe football brief history in the African thread, but only for me to see that, it is locked.

I am missing something here, please some should tell me more.
When a new thread is opened for a specific tournament, the thread is usually locked after that tournament ends. Because there will be no new meaningful discussion. But we must not forget that the World Cup football has just ended. There will be different types of  meaningful discussions and information about World Cup 2022.

To those who asked to lock the thread I would point out that locking it after 2 weeks would have been very effective. But I think it is not very logical to close the football world cup thread and open "After the world cup tournament" again. Which is just changing the heading. Discussions that could be done in previous tropics. I wouldn't call it a conspiracy but those who are complaining need to think about it deeply. I hope that the moderators of the forum are also prudent enough to take appropriate decisions before considering the fact.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 20, 2022, 02:46:16 PM
5th T20 India Women vs Australia Women Australia Women came out to bat in this match of two teams. They scored 57 runs in 8 overs. But Australia Women lost 3 wickets. India Women started to perform well in bowling. Shafali Verma of India Women said.  1 over bowled and took 1 wicket with 8 runs. Australia Women could not score very good runs in batting. But if Australia Women can score like 140 runs then Australia Women will have a big chance to win.

Indian women managed to pick up a few crucial wickets this time, but Australia looks set for a big total, probably in the range of 160-180. Australia are at 84/4 after 12 overs, with Grace Harris and Ashleigh Gardner at crease. Indian bowlers were economical today, with the exception of Deepti Sharma. Renuka Singh bowled well, although she failed to get any wickets. The outcome of this match doesn't hold much significance, since Australia is already up by 3-1. But even a 3-2 result would be good for the Indian women, as it would boost their morale.
The India women's team kept Australia in control at the beginning. But after 10 overs, the Australian team started aggressive batting. Both the new batsmen are set on the pitch. Grace Harris and Ashleigh Gardner perform brilliantly. Grace Harris is the top scorer in today's match with 41 runs off 21 balls. Along with Ashleigh Gardner who is also unbeaten on 30 off 18 balls. Looking at the style of play, it looks like India might lose today's match by a big scoring margin. Australia scored 148 in 16 overs. Total 200 runs in the remaining 4 overs is easy very easy task for them. Today the last match of the series may be India will be able to chase a big score.
1606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Finally got my boss to pay me in Bitcoin on: December 20, 2022, 02:09:41 PM
Hello everyone I am very excited today as finally my boss has agreed to pay in Bitcoin. After losing at my first attempt in Cryptocurrency as I thought that wealth falls like rain here I was brought back to reality with losses I got a little job on the side although a small amount paying job I think it is okay for me and I can get back on my feet.

Ever since I started working I have always been talking to my boss and coworkers about Cryptocurrency and after persisting they started to give me listening ears, I made sure to also tell them my experience and made sure they got my picture.

Along the line my boss got very much interested in cryptocurrency especially in Bitcoin. Assisted him in creating his Bitcoin wallet and taught him all I could, it surprised me when he finally accepted to pay me in Bitcoin and has giving it as an option to other workers, it's a big joy for me and I believe they are also talking about cryptocurrency to their friends and family too, just got my first payment in Bitcoin this evening.
Congratulations, your boss has cleared you after much procrastination. Whatever your monthly salary is that doesn't fact, whenever you got it in bitcoins, were excited to receive it. And no one can measure about your happiness except you. But it has to be said that Bitcoin is working smoothly in this regard. Acting as a new mode of payment. Day by day its scope is getting bigger. Maybe in a few days, the various institutions or industries around the world will be paying in Bitcoin instead of paying in fiat currency. Basically new generation will continue in this trend. I believe that in the next few years Bitcoin will be an alternative to all kinds of ‍payments activities.
1607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges charging for inactive accounts . Do you support this ? on: December 20, 2022, 05:02:46 AM
There is a new practice among crypto exchanges to charge its users if they are inactive on the exchange. Some f the examples are

1) Zebpay: It is an Indian exchange that charges some fees from users if they have not done any trade in any month. It is still having this rule on the platform.

2)Bitstamp: Another exchange which added this rule was Bitstamp. It planned to charge 10 euros ($10.27) per month for inactive accounts.

Personally, I am against these charges and it affects the rate of crypto adoption. It discourages people from starting to use crypto. What is your opinion about this practice ?
Crypto exchanges ‍are usually get some commission from the active users which are considered of their profit. But when a user does not do any trade or transaction on an exchange for a long time i.e. is inactive, there is no benefit to that exchange. As a result, some of the mentioned exchangers have imposed additional charges on inactive users. While these rules are good for them, no one will support them as an investor. Because the number of crypto exchangers are huge. Moreover, when the big exchanges are providing users with free benefits, it is not a very good initiative for some relatively unknown exchangers to take such a step, even it will bring back a negative attitude towards that crypto exchange. I personally would never support of such charges.
1608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: December 20, 2022, 04:25:13 AM
We have to be careful if we want to recommend bitcoin, never give the picture that investing in bitcoin is definitely a big profit in a short time, many newbies are trapped with promises of profit because of investing in bitcoin, of course it takes a lot of factors that can make us profit but it's better to just introduce, and of course, give an illustration that bitcoin prices can drop significantly so they can lose money.

Cryptocurrencies are generally volatile in nature. So proper timing for the investment is not quite an easy task. However, there are some moments when the investment environment is relatively more favorable than others.

With any other investment, cryptocurrency buyers should be aware of their risk tolerance and market conditions.

A world is often heard that the best time to buy cryptocurrency whenever you are ready to start investing. You should not invest more than the amount you are willing to lose. And should remember the rule of dollar-cost averaging. The price per Bitcoin is now $16720 which was 69000 last year. It is down about 75 percent from that position. Moreover, the bullish trend of Bitcoin is usually seen towards the end of every year. Bitcoin has been bearish for almost too long and now seems to be the perfect time to turn bullish. Considering the above factors we can recommend our friends or acquaintances to invest in Bitcoin.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 19, 2022, 02:40:00 PM
I don't know if it was the best World Cup final match of all time but it was definitely a pleasure to watch. At least for someone who wasn't an Argentina or France fan. Their fans probably pulled all their hair out but for the rest of us it was a great game in which France managed to come back two times, but Argentina was better in penalties. Overall I think that Argentina deserved the gold medal because they really showed great performance in the World Cup.

It was a great final indeed and I think one of the toughest world cup finals in recent years. Argentina and France almost have same kind of strength in that game, having both teams played draws in both at the end of the 90 mins and the extra time too was something I found very interesting. Nice having seen Argentina come out victoriously at last, it was a deserve victory.
A final match like this may never have been seen in the history of football. Every football fan was enthralled by the game. When neither team could beat their opponent, the outcome was decided in Tiebreaker. Many football fans have been exposed to the victory of their favorite team. Not only that, Argentina's once successful player Batistuta also cried tears of joy.

36 years have passed since the 1986 Mexico World Cup. Argentina have gone to the World Cup with the aim of winning the title every time but have not succeeded. Even Lionel Messi played in four World Cups but did not win. The World Cup turned out to be a curse for Argentina. Hard work, perseverance and effort go in vain. Finally Argentina won the World Cup 2022.
1610  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Could Binance Collapse? on: December 19, 2022, 08:13:01 AM
In recent times, especially after the fall of FTX, there has been a lot of scare about exchangers. FTX is one of the remarkable exchangers. When such institutions go bankrupt, it is natural for investors to lose confidence in almost all exchanges, including Binance. Already we are seeing some big investors withdrawing their assets from the exchange. If this situation does not improve, the number of investors will continue to decrease and the exchanges will be in danger.

There are some executives at several major crypto firms do not think Binance is headed for bankruptcy. They believe that Binance is still very strong. They say Binance holds large stores of bitcoins and liquid assets. As a result, it would be wrong to call it on the verge of bankruptcy. Moreover, Binance owner Changpeng Zhao himself said that Binance has the power to overcome any crypto winter. Consequently it goes without saying that Binance is still a strong exchange.
1611  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Take your bitcoin out of binance on: December 19, 2022, 07:40:05 AM
$1.9 billion have been reportedly withdrawn from binance in the past 24 hours. This may be just be FUD and nothing is actually going to happen but we all know no matter the times we're in it's never advisable to keep your money in exchanges. I've seen this warning so much you'll think everybody knows this by now.
Please take you money off exchanges, not just binance.

https://www.reuters.com/technology/binance-sees-withdrawals-19-billion-last-24-hours-data-firm-nansen-says-2022-12-13/?utm_source=reddit.com

After the FTX crash a few days ago, a news is spreading that it is not safe to hold assets on any centralized exchange. I personally think so. It is certainly not safe, especially for those who hold large amounts of assets in any exchange platform. Those investors should keep their assets in a safe wallet of their choice.

However, recently Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, the owner of a large crypto exchange, gave a different message in which he does not consider the assets kept in their  personal wallets from the exchange to be safe. He thinks many of those keeping crypto in their wallets will lose money for security reasons. He thinks most people won't be able to back up their security keys. Users are at risk of losing their device and backups will not have proper encryption. They might write it down on a piece of paper and someone else will see it and they'll steal those funds.

He also said that if a person dies, they have no way to give to their next of kin. Although we have a standard operating procedure. I realized that his thought in this regard is true. Everything related to  key or phrase or password depends on himself. If there is any deficiency, it is natural to lose his wealth.

1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 18, 2022, 02:15:16 PM
Argentina and France ready for the final. After 3 decades, as Argentina has the opportunity to win the World Cup, France has the opportunity to win the World Cup twice in a row. Before that, only Italy and Brazil won the World Cup twice in a row. This World Cup is special for Argentina. Because of course this is Messi's last World Cup. Experts believe that Argentina will win the World Cup in the form they are in. Lionel Messi gave a special message before today's mega match.

Messi posted a photo on Saturday. He is seen kneeling in the stadium. Fixing the socks with one hand and holding the World Cup ball in front of him. He wrote in the caption, 'I am ready. Come on Argentina.' But Messi's post was an advertising post. It was an ad shoot for Argentinian jersey manufacturer Adidas. Anyway, now is the time to move forward. Argentina will enter the field today hoping to make new history.
1613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: December 18, 2022, 12:57:41 PM
Well as a strong believer and investor in Bitcoin my strong hands are currently still buying it. I am also talking about Bitcoin as a solid investment opportunity to people I meet and know that are not already familiar and invested in it already.
I tend to talk about it quite a bit with other people. When you feel as strongly about crypto as I do, you want to discuss it and it just comes up naturally. For example, when I go out to a social gathering there’s a good chance I will bring it up with people and hear their opinions.
I tell them it is so easy to install tBinance and Coinbase on your phone they do it right in front of me.

Maybe you are a strong hand to buy and buy Bitcoin, but sometimes we forget to give directions to those who don't understand how to use it, many of the common people often lose or also transfer their Bitcoin to an address where it shouldn't be sent, and  many experienced players only give them a little knowledge, even just telling them to download an application that they don't know at all, at least we can teach them how to use it first so they can understand the ins and outs of bitcoin, not just telling them to download the Binance and Coinbase applications, according to  I think it's not too important for new users, but it's different if we ask those who already understand or understand the ins and outs of using bitcoin.
For those who are new, there are a few things to consider about before buying Bitcoin. Whether they buy bitcoins and keep them in a proper wallet, whether they have the right keys, overall security issues should be of utmost importance to a bitcoin buyer.

I realize  the best time to buy Bitcoin is when I can afford to buy it. Bitcoin is volatile so its nature makes many investors uneasy but real investors are not afraid of it. Rather, they try to retain it when it comes under their control. Currently Bitcoin price is $16700. Even many are confused that the market dump more? The market can behave differently at any time but in order to profit from Bitcoin, one must buy Bitcoin with his expected range. By using the DCA method, you will be able to control the volatility of your investments and avoid the roller coaster ride. I don't want to encourage anyone with Bitcoin. But right decision at right time is definitely needed. Finally i jsut utter that it is best to invest as much as you are willing to lose. Given the current Bitcoin price and position, I think investing in Bitcoin at this time is the most appropriate.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 18, 2022, 11:18:57 AM
There are different types of research on going around the football world cup and different calculations are also started. In view of that calculation, Messi is going to make another record again today. This record will be the longest playing time in the World Cup. We know that Italian footballer Paolo Maldini holds the record for the longest playing time in the World Cup so far. He played 2 thousand 217 minutes. Argentinian star footballer Lionel Messi is on the second position in this list. Messi played 2 thousand 194 minutes. That means Messi will have to play 24 more minutes to pass Paolo Maldini. And tonight Messi is going to make that record by fighting to win the cup against France. This record will live forever with Messi's name regardless of wins or losses. Even he failed five times in the world cup but this is the last chance in his life. So we have to wait for getting the result.
1615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Keep your money off exchange, in this crisis moments hold Bitcoin for safety on: December 18, 2022, 07:32:53 AM
Recent events in the cryptocurrency market have forced a lot of cryptocurrency investors and traders to start moving their funds off-exchange most especially centralized exchanges.

There has been a lot of bank runoff with cryptocurrency and a lot of banks are under fed investigation on possible use of customers money to invest in cryptocurrency through centralized exchanges, and with the recent bankruptcy war and money laundering investigation against major exchanges.

It has become imperative to avoid exchanges.and the coins, convert all asset into Bitcoin, and transfer them to your own wallet with your wallet recovery phrase saved. Go on break till after Bitcoin halves in 2024 and if you must invest buy more bitcoin.

Centralized Exchange platforms can combine their users' resources and can lose it by any kind of work like gambling. Daniel Saval, a lawyer, thinks such a combination can lead to a verdict that resources are exchanger property, not users. According to him, a user may be even more surprised because in the case of bankruptcy conditions, crypto and funds in their account cannot be considered as their own property. Which is very scary but true.

Basically there is no law that controls crypto assets, there is no assurance that investors will be able to recover their funds. If an exchanger freeze someone's account, then no one will have to do anything. Considering all these aspects it is safe to keep one's assets in personal wallet not in exchanger.
1616  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What do you think about trust wallet? on: December 18, 2022, 05:14:06 AM
I think the reason for the popularity of this wallet is that it is invited by....

The same people who believe that the CEX you mention is something they should trust, surely believe that they should trust the Trust wallet just because it has "trust" in its name. If some kind of research were done, I have no doubt that a large percentage of those who use this wallet would probably admit that they use it because of the name, which is of course absurd in every way.

Trust wallet is also promoted by CZ. This isn't originally developed by Binance team, they just bought Trustwallet and further developed it with a TWT token which has been tanking that's why its popularity increases.

Trust is a close source project, it wouldn't be surprising that there is a backdoor to the wallet where the team has a copy of our seed. It's possible. You can't fully trust a team.
Trust wallet is steadily growing in popularity based on users. Trust wallet is basically a non-custodial digital wallet that uses hot storage for cryptocurrencies. Trust Wallet essentially connects individual blockchain networks through a bridge. Each blockchain has a set of public addresses known as public keys. One thing to note here is that Trust Wallet does not store any cryptocurrency on the server. It only gives users access to its wallet. No earning can be generated using Trust wallet but the gas fees are distributed among the valid miners. Since Trust Wallet is a software wallet, it cannot offer the same security as a hardware wallet. They always try their best to provide security to its users but considering all the things we can not completely believe in it.
1617  Other / Archival / Re: 2022 was the second worst year for Bitcoin on: December 17, 2022, 07:18:49 PM

But as of now, 2022 isn't yet over, and might there be a big boom waiting in the middle of the month, what do you think?  Cheesy

I don't think we'll have what you call a big boom before the end of the month, media still talking about FTX and Luna, and the Bitcoin price is not moving at all, I cannot think of better news that can turn around the market, I don't want to see my portfolio right now if Bitcoin is having the worst year it's even worst on altcoins, but I don't think Bitcoin will go down further to $10k.
If you're a positive investor this is the best time to buy Bitcoin and other coins that have proven their worth in the market.
Those who believe in Bitcoin will not consider bitcoin as worst. It is a very common picture of Bitcoin 4 year bitcoin cycle. We are aware of a major decline in 2014 where Bitcoin price went from $1000 to below $200. Again in 2018 we faced a major decline where the price of Bitcoin went from around $8000 to around $3000 and 2022 will be another year of decline. At the moment everyone knows about its situation. It has gone from $50,000 to $16000. Bitcoin crash which we see every 4 year cycle. As people's knowledge about Bitcoin increases, people naturally start accepting its variations. Compared to other years, the fall has been drastically more this year. But the most important thing is that after such a fall, Bitcoin is again bullish and is much higher than its previous ATH. According to that calculation I think the next bull market could be even more stronger.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 16, 2022, 04:56:45 PM
France advanced to the finals of the World Cup. It was a very difficult match for Deschamps' team. The Moroccans had several dangerous chances in the first and second halves. However, the French held out and scored two goals. Well, now we are looking forward to the final game between Argentina and France. I'm looking forward to this match.
Each has the same odds based on the odds, so it will definitely be difficult to determine who will win. I tend to believe that Argentina will win, but whatever it is I'm never surprised if France defends the title.

This is probably Messi's last final at world cup level, but I think he will retire from the national team whatever the result of the final. It would be great if Messi was able to close his career at the National level with a World Cup title, but it will definitely be difficult to make it happen because France is a strong opponent.
As much as I want Argentina to win this trophy, However, I must admit that France will be a very difficult task for Argentina, in fact I give them the edge in the final without any sentiment. I'm afraid France may just give them a bitter ending. They’re a very solid team both defensively and offensively. Argentina also have proven to be a good team in this World Cup competition. Reaching this stage of the competition shows their determination and the stake is high so I expect a very tight game. I don’t know who is going to win but France looks very relax and sure
You have logic.  France has strong players from defense to attack.  Moreover, the attack line like M Bappe, Griezmann, Dembele, Gerrard is very scary.  I also want Argentina to win even for Messi.  However, be very careful.  And Lionel Messi will once again be the last to carry the team on his shoulders.  Because if anyone can make anything happen against France's 11, it's only Lionel Messi.
The opportunity to win the World Cup for the second time is now in front of France. After defeating Morocco 2-0 in the semi-finals, the reigning champions of 2018 reached the World Cup final again, but the only obstacle there was Argentina. Just as Kylian Mbappe is a barrier to ending Argentina's 36-year title drought simultaneously Lionel Messi is also an obstacle for France. In order to win the title, just as Argentina will have to find a way to bottle up Mbappe, France will have to find a way to contain Messi. Messi will attack with his edge. But everyone has the same hope that Messi will get the championship. It will be a heroic journey to Qatar for Messi.

Firstly am very happy I found this amazing site and I hope that all my curiosities are settled in forum about things I feel I know but don't understand...
 topic one
Bitcoin mining
What is theory around this.. I mean how is it possible that you just download a bitcoin mining app and start earning btc without doing something elaborate enough
topic two
How real is the trending adverts about apps telling you  just refer people to their apps and you start earning btc
Although it is easy to know how to do Bitcoin mining, actually mining is not easy. Maybe many of us know that Bitcoin mining requires a lot of electricity which is not possible for everyone. But let's take a look at how much electricity is required? According to the Cambridge Bitcoin Electricity Consumption Index, generating bitcoins consumes 94.2 terawatt-hours of electricity per year. A few other countries use even more. According to a statistics 2021, one Bitcoin can be mined with the amount of electricity a household will consume approximately 9 years.

Here we get a general idea about electricity. Now let's see what kind of computer or hardware is needed for mining?

Bitcoin mining requires what we call powerful computers. But what about that computer? Specific integrated circuits, or ASICs for Bitcoin mining can cost more then $10,000. So if we say that Bitcoin mining is easy with an app? Of course not. Moreover, some scammers recommend using various software or apps for Bitcoin mining which should never be installed. As a newbie who has a little knowledge of cryptocurrency but much interest in purchasing bitcoin for a long time Hodl, since the purchasing capital is not included in my spendable budget and the price of bitcoin is not very high at the moment 16k, what should be my fear?

Pls, advise me.
As of lately investing in Bitcoin is quite suitable. Many people waste time investing in Bitcoin thinking of losing. But the reality is different. I think losing your investment in Bitcoin is quite difficult, unless you are harming it in some other way. If you keep your bitcoins in a hardware wallet that would be the safest place. I think investing in bitcoins is not going to be wasted other than being stolen. A fear of many is acting out

Can the price drop? Of course, it is volatile so its price can go down or up.

That is why it is said that one should not invest more than one can afford to lose. Bitcoin can always drop - but over the long term - I recommend four years, minimum - it has always trended upwards, and often significantly. If investment is encouraged keeping these factors in mind, there will be nothing to fear. You can also invest accordingly by thinking better through your research.
