I don't think any star player is interested in joining the Newcastle team now. Star players will definitely want more wages, at the same time, they will definitely want to play with the same good squad and will want to win the title. Newcastle will probably provide many wages. But they can't afford to fight for the Premier League title. And I don’t think it will happen next season either. They have to slowly sort out the team.
It will take Newcastle 1 year at least to 3 years then they can attract best players to join them. Like Manchester City attracted Kun Aguero but in previous seasons, they have Robinho, Santa Cruz and a few more attacking players
Newcatsle must improve their results gradually and the investment for transfer will be very costly. We see Chelsea, Manchester City and PSG spent huge transfer fund in a decade or more to become a top clubs in the world now.
The adventure of Newcatsle will be harder because now FIFA and EUFA have more restrictions than one or two decades ago. Rich clubs now can not overspend their money like in the past.
You are right. Newcastle is now a rich club. But still they will not be able to spend as much money as they want. Moreover, even if they spend money, they will not be able to take star players in the team. Until Newcastle can come to a stable state, they will not be able to take star players into the team. It needs an experienced coach first and stabilizes the team with some medium-quality players. Then when the team is stable they will be able to include more experienced players in the team.
Miracles are certainly possible, but I can't imagine what kind of miracle should happen so that Newcastle with the current squad and coach and the penultimate place in the table could claim the championship this year Wink Of course not, it's just that Newcastle need to stabilize the game this season and so far move at least to the middle of the table, having carried out a high-quality winter transfer campaign and recruit players above the average level. The competition in the Premier League is great and rivals in the fight for high places will also not stand still in the fight for players and Newcastle will have to offer more money than already formed competitors.

Juventus FC - AS Roma

I chose Juventus to win. Roma stats against Juventus in five matches in Turin they won only once. But it looks like Mourinho's statistics in five matches are far different he can never lose. Other bad news Tammy Abraham was also injured, this happens when against Hungary. At least this reduced the power of Rome. Roma itself is above Juve, the difference is four points. It looks like it will be an exciting match, but Juve have the upper hand playing in Turin.
Although the mainstay players of the two teams may not play later, but in my opinion the match will still be fierce, because at this time both teams both want to be able to win and get 3 points in the match.
Even though Roma lost Tammy, I don't think this will affect Roma's sharpness too much, moreover AS Roma still has other pretty good strikers, namely Eldor Shomurodov and El Shaarawy, in fact I'm a little doubtful if Juventus will be able to win in that match, even though now Juventus starting to improve but still their defense is still quite weak, in addition to the injuries to Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala, the Juventus coach has little choice to fill the position up front.
The loss of Morata and Dybala is a significant factor that can play against Juventus. On the other hand, if Juventus wants to claim something serious and serious improvement in the standings, then it is necessary to do without these players, especially since important victories were obtained without these players in the derby with Torino and in the match with Chelsea. Another question is that Roma is not by chance higher in the standings and is unlikely to want to let Juventus closer, so knowing Mourinho's style, it is quite possible to expect that Roma will agree to a draw on the opponent's field and I think this result is the most likely.

Perez is doing what Bottas should do when Hamilton is leading, make opponents lose time for overtaking.
He is a good second drive for Redbull.
Bottas is almost useless and it's years I'm saying it.
I would say the same, except that Perez is still below his potential, Bottas has a benefit for Mercedes, he also continuously scores points for the Constructors' World Championship, Perez still has to improve. But I think he will, he gets along better and better with the car and will also score more and more continuously.
Bottas will fade into obscurity at Alfa, how long did Bottas get a contract, after that will be the end of career.
I agree that Bottas is definitely better than Perez, this is obvious on drivers' standings as well but also it is obvious from the very last race as well. Mercedes seems to find some more speed, even Bottas managed to keep Max behind which wasn't something I expected to be fair.
At the end of the day Perez missed so many chances to be there, whereas Bottas always uses his chances and gains points. Dude may not be the best driver in the world, and he is racing in a wonderful car, but he also managed to come in second so many years behind Hamilton as well, that should show you that he has been a good teammate to Hamilton even if not a great driver himself. Where is perez? Dude is so much behind Max, if you want a good teammate, then that teammate should be around you, this is why Bottas has been great but he is now 30+ years old and since they can't fire Hamilton, they needed to send Bottas away to get a younger blood.
Of course, it may be silly to say after half a season, but maybe Perez still could not fully adapt to the design of the Red Bull car. There is an opinion that the design of the Red Bull car is quite specific to the conditions of Formula 1 and if Verstappen has already spent the sixth season in the team and has already adapted remarkably to the car and all changes for him are gradual, then Perez spends only the first season and did not come from the Red Bull system. Bottas is a good enough driver, which is sometimes shown by his wins and more frequent poles, but still, for all his qualities, he cannot claim the position of the first number of the team, which Hamilton is always, especially if we recall the conditions of his arrival at Mercedes. By the way, in Alfa Romeo, Bottas may well be number one given his experience, but a lot depends on the figure of his partner.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 13, 2021, 11:55:30 PM
So far, anceloti still has a good relationship with the real madrid squad and also madrid management, so it's unlikely that madrid will sack carlo anceloti before his contract expires.
You are wrong if you think that a weak defense is a trivial thing, because a strong defense is a very important factor for a club to stay on the winning path, you can see today if madrid has an imbalance in their game, madrid often scores goals, but also often conceded a lot of goals from opponents and of course it's very dangerous if later they are against a team that has a pretty dangerous attack line.
It all depends on the dynamics of the situation and I think that if Real Madrid cannot get out of the group, then the chair under Ancelotti will in any case be very shaky despite all his good relations. Everyone has known the difficult character of Perez for a long time and I don't think anyone can count on the inviolability of their positions in the club and the constant favor from the club's management. It is enough to recall the recent scandal with the unflattering scandalous assessments that surfaced against Vicente del Bosque, Ronaldo, Raul, Casillas. However, Ancelotti was just taken into account his ability to find good relations with the team's players, because everything was not so smooth with Zidane, but we must understand that in a team like Real Madrid, results and titles are the main measure of success.

^ That is true, coaches need to be qualified enough to manage star players. One example I can give is Luis Enrique managing Spain. Before him, Spain was a tier-2 team, but we all know that he is a great coach, and look what he has done to the team. They even played the finals recently and their playstyle has changed so much, good change to be specific. And if you have players like Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Courtois in your squad and you are not winning, the coach is sure to be blamed, maybe Belgium needs to look for a new coaching position.
Belgium remain the only side to top the FIFA rankings without claiming a major trophy. They have maintained that status as the No 1 side in the world for more than three years now without showing or demonstrating their apparent superiority with silverware. I don't think Belgium deserve to be top. They are suppose to be under Brazil, France, Italy and Spain. These country sides are better than them. Anyway I don't know how they calculate the rankings, but all these 4 teams can easily beat Belgium in any major competition. Belgium is just too overrated.
This may include the costs of the cup system, when everything depends on one match and the team cannot psychologically tune in and give its maximum in one game, it may also speak about the strength of the head coach, who cannot achieve this from the team, because in the current conditions the head coach must be a good psychologist and motivator. There are also questions about the scoring system in the rating system itself, with which teams the games were held, but for this purpose competitions are held between teams, where these teams identify the strongest in a face-to-face fight. In theory, the League of Nations itself should not have put pressure on the Belgian national team due to its lower status than the World and European Championships, but unfortunately Belgium failed to win the title here.

Let's wait 1.5 or so seasons more to see what Newcastle will be like. People forget that money can't buy every player in the world, hell PSG has so much money but they are having trouble convincing Mbappe to stay, and they are a great team as well, not like they are building the team from scratch.
Well, money can't buy every player but, money surely helps a lot in football you know. Look at a team like Manchester City, we hardly heard anything if them 4-5 seasons ago but now, its the number one or one of the most fierced team in the EPL and even the UCL. All these they acquired with money, getting the right squad and a good manager too.
Kylan Mbappe wanting to live PSG is because, he has don so much for that club, spent quite a number of years of his career and wants to test new shores admist, being the star man for an elite team and earn the admiration of management and fans alike. That's how I like to think of it but, PSG isn't a bad team too, not at all.
I think that the laws of financial fair play will not allow Newcastle to immediately create a top-level team with a roster consisting exclusively of top players. It is also known that the new management has big questions about the current club infrastructure and the same big plans for its modernization. In any case, this is a process of more than one year and the club will also need to gain the prestige and trust of top players so that they prefer to continue their career in Newcastle, and not in other more famous clubs. By the way, it is the previous successes and the rich club history with a certain unique aura that is the most important reason why Mbappe aspired to Real Madrid.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 13, 2021, 11:34:52 PM
Premier league has a great success because they are viewed in a lot more nations, and they get a lot more money involved as well. I do not know where all this billions of dollars come from aside from selling your club to some rich person, but they do have a lot of money. When you have a lot of money that means your income is good and when your income is good then you can pay for high salaries and when you can pay for high salaries then you can get any player you want.
Look at United, they had zero interest on Ronaldo when the season started because they believed he wasn't available, he would be in Juventus but the moment he got available they just paid whatever and then gave him whatever salary and moved on, they had literally extra money aside to make that move, 99.99% of the teams on the world wouldn't even have been able to do that financially let alone convince Ronaldo to come.
Currently, English Premier League is world's most soccer league and just because of this they have good income from media right and after this there are some good investors now involved in which are putting Billions of USD for their own sack just because of this they have some good income, but one thing is sure Europe's top 5 leagues have not big difference because I was checking few statics it is showing England, Italy, Germany.
Spain and France are currently top ranked, but England is going with good advantage mostly just because of English way but Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munch are also not bad at all they have some good income as well.
As they say, money attracts money. Thanks to several vain club owners who do not spare money for the object of their vanity, some of the money and attention of advertisers falls to other clubs Wink And the case of Newcastle shows that it also attracts the attention of new super-rich people who want to compete in this championship. And if in other championships there are such super clubs for one or a maximum of two for the entire league, then the English Premier League is a completely different matter. By the way, if the pandemic story has hit the leading European leagues very hard financially, then in England it has manifested itself much less, which allows the English clubs to take an even better approach to strengthening their squads.
1608  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 11, 2021, 11:59:19 PM
Currently, there are many usd-based stablecoins such as, usdt, busd, usdc and maybe many others.  To be honest, I used to think that crypto would completely eliminate the usd's dominance of the world economy but I was wrong, it turns out that usd is now evolving to crypto (stablecoins).  What do you think, whether in the future bitcoin or other crypto can replace the role of currency in each country and leave fiat currencies such as usd, euro, yuan and others.
It is better you do not get your hopes too high about this happening in the future, while many of those that came early to the market and adopted bitcoin have had a similar dream the truth is that was not a goal of satoshi, satoshi created bitcoin in order to help you to truly own your money and become your own bank by not relying on a third party to approve your payment, satoshi succeed since you can already do that and the dead of fiat currencies is not really needed.
The world economy is a fairly organized process under the control of the state bodies of the leading states, therefore, it is rather naive and far-sighted to hope that these states will withdraw themselves and happily switch to decentralized cryptocurrencies. At best, we expect the parallel existence of fiat currencies in digital format and partly based on blockchain, as well as decentralized cryptocurrencies, mostly as a speculative asset, a means of accumulation. I still don't want to think about the bad scenario of a total ban, because there is a great hope that the governments of the states will have the prudence to leave their citizens the opportunity to play with their own financial independence Wink

Benzema is 33 years old. I don't think Benzema will be in the Real Madrid squad for very long. So I don't think I can see the chemistry of Benzema and Mbappe at Real Madrid. On the other hand, rumors are circulating that both Real Madrid Mbappe and Haaland are interested in fielding young players together. If they take these two players on the team, they will decide to sell Benzema.
I believe that 33 is not really that old, he could play at least another 3-4 seasons and he would be good as well so I doubt he will be gone anytime soon. I believe that as long as they have other places to worry about (like defense) they should not be considering getting a striker just yet. However one thing is for sure, if they can get their hands on Mbappe, that is not something you can just let it be, you have to get him if you can because it is Mbappe, doesn't matter who you have in that spot, if you can get him then you do.
I guess Mbappe will be either in PSG or Madrid and I do not see any other option right now. However what will happen if Newcastle ends up offering like 100 million a year to him is really beyond me and I would love to see that chaos. I know they probably won't, that is just unnecessarily too much, but they CAN and that is the great part Cheesy.
at some point, they too will have to operate in accordance with the FFP. they will only be able to spend what the club earns, I don't think the Premier League will allow them to be manipulated as PSG does.
So, probably they can sign Mbappe and many top players, offering them abnormally high salaries. to cover this they must have a much stronger infrastructure which will give the club at least some potential to earn that money.
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle can spend 223 million euros in winter without violating the rules of financial fair play, so there may be enough funds for Mbappe, Haaland or Kane. Another question is, apart from one or two super-players, the club now has to think more about building a competitive team as a whole and you can't raise the level of the team on one player now. If only purely for marketing and attracting attention to the project. By the way, Antonio Conte seems to have refused the offer to lead Newcastle and I seem to understand his motives, because Conte dreams of titles, and here you need to start from the bottom of the standings and build a team and there is a chance to build a team for another coach, like Tuchel and Chelsea.

ATM even strengthened by getting Griezmann.
I wouldn't say Griezmann has greatly strengthened Atletico. On paper, yes, but he hasn't shown it yet. He is also already heavily criticized. I agree that Atletico is currently stronger than Barca and in my opinion also stronger than Real, but it is more due to the team and the coach, not individual stars.
I avoided to place a comment about this specific point of Griezmann strengthening ATM because I know if I said it, he might be the star of that game Tongue
Until now, Griezmann didn't show something special, just like Messi in PSG, you wait to see big achievement but you end up with disappointmen..
Overall, EPL teams are better than La Liga ones thanks to the power of money. Except Real Madrid, Barca ATM and Sevilla won't have easy time clearing the way to the finals imo. I feel it will be EPL teams vs Bayern and PSG.
The strength of Atletico Madrid is in the team game and the club has the only superstar who constantly makes a decent result and you know the name of this person perfectly well Wink This is Diego Simeone Grin I would not be surprised at all if Atletico Madrid still gets to the Champions League semi-finals, although given the current transfer affairs and budgets, this time everything looks much more complicated and the English clubs have a considerable advantage. By the way, English clubs should hurry up in winning titles while Newcastle, which is at the bottom, is just beginning to gain its future power and strength after the purchase of the club by the Saudi owners Grin
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 11, 2021, 11:35:54 PM
the tournament is just for UEFA to make more money and to fill up more games into this rough schedule. Chiesa is a beast and needs now to show at a club level that he is a big player like he does for Italy. What a goal by Benzema as well, probobly one of the best players in the world in the last 2-3 years.
UEFA is already one of the richest sports body in world, but their greediness is not going to end, so they have these bore tournaments bringing some more Europe in their pocket. About Chiesa is doing good and now after Juventus main players away from game due to injuries now he is doing very good for his club Allegri if one of best coaches in world also know how to use youngster like Chiesa I am feeling in coming years he could be much better and quality player.
But, hopefully he could be not underrated like Benzema because he is also one of the best players but sadly underrated for long time.
I wouldn't call this tournament boring, but the final four of the League of Nations in general turned out to be exciting and gave a lot of bright emotions to the spectators and fans of the tournament. Another question is that due to the shifted deadlines due to the pandemic of the timing of the European Championship, the main focus was still directed specifically at Euro2020. It's hard for me to blame UEFA for wanting to earn more money instead of holding boring friendly matches, especially since this earned money goes to national federations, unlike selfish projects like the Super League. Benzema really deserves only praise in his address, because winning the League of Nations is largely his merit.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 11, 2021, 11:25:17 PM
Lazio Inter and Juve Roma are the 2 big matches of the day.
Yes. Those are the two major matches for the weekend. Lazio would most likely try to improve upon their 3-0 loss they got before the international break but Inter is definitely not going to be an easy opponent for them to get past so it would be interesting to see how that game plays out. For Juve - Roma, can't say for sure as both teams haven't been at their best lately but both teams will definitely score.
Surely they need to try after having defeat like this against Bologna but Inter is not good side which are going to allow them for any better result because they are in full form, and they are also hunting for some good results as they already at third spot, and they're both opponents for title having easy matches in this round if they lost then surely It's going to hurt them more.
In Juventus vs Roma it's also good match and Roma away form is not good because they already lose two matches recently Juventus is doing some good recently, so it's right now in favour of Juventus but still a tricky match for both sides.
Juventus is on the way to recovery and restoration of its former positions at the head of the standings, another question is that this is a gradual process and there may be some difficulties on the way, especially since the current Roma is higher in the table and also wants to rise higher in the leadership group. Therefore, I will not be surprised by a draw with a minimum score of 1-1. Inter seems to have scored a good move and it seems like it should not at least lose to Lazio, especially since the current Lazio does not look like a favorite in this match despite the status of the host of the meeting and the Romans also miss a lot in recent matches, so either Inter wins or a productive draw.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 11, 2021, 11:18:51 PM
If Man United does not improve their game, it is possible that the next match against Leicester will only end in a draw because considering yesterday against Liverpool they performed less than optimally so they were unable to outperform the opposing team. Man United's current position must be able to catch Chelsea who topped the standings.
When you think it is a draw, it can end as a lose. Manchester United have better players but the tactic operation is bad. Ole can not combine Sancho, Cavani and Ronaldo in the same team. The defense is not improved even with Varane. Leicester City have a worse season so far, than the past one, but they are still dangerous with counter attacking.
If the defenders and defensive midfielders of Manchester United play bad and carelessly, they will be punished with any mistake. Vardy is always ready to score goals from counter attack. Vardy is not a player of small matches, he can score goals in Super Sundays.
Of course, the players and the coach of a club like Manchester United should not think about a draw in such a match and think only about winning, but on the other hand, we do not determine the composition of the club and do not go out on the football field, so we have the right to some objectivity and try to correlate physical reality with dreams and wishes Wink By the way, in previous seasons there was no such obvious criticism of Solskjaer about tactics and vice versa, even at times, the club's tactics were given credit. And here, after a number of recent acquisitions, they are already beginning to demand significant results in tactics. Still, I think we need to wait some time for changes. At least the club's management is still waiting according to Wink

Sometimes I like to make jokes about my own team, especially when there's only a lot to cry about, sometimes you just have to take a shot at yourself and your team and laugh together right? Wink
I said it myself often here in this forum last season that I wanted them to crash hard, to force a reset. The problem is, I didn't think it would be an enforced reset (due to financial reasons and losing Messi also forced) that would cause the hard crash.
I'm going to keep laughing at ourselves until this happens, the time for sadness has gone.
I keep doing that as well, joking about your own team is one of the best methods to get fun out of football as well. I keep remembering that IT Crowd scene : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yN2H3--1aw and it is kind of the reality for most teams as well where we can joke about it as long as we want and it would be funny, any football fan that didn't laugh at that scene is just way too holigan to care for anything else.
Barcelona has been in a horrible display this season but I am sure that they will do fine, there is nothing to worry about, they are always good and I am sure they will stay good. What I do not get however is why they are looking like they will keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.
In any case, Barcelona would need a reboot, but it's one thing when it is done in an organized manner and under full control, and quite another thing when everything is done in a hurry and not the most optimal decisions are made. Laporta came to the club as an anti-crisis manager, but still probably did not expect that the situation was so bad. Personally, I was surprised by his words that he hoped to the last that Messi would agree to stay at the club and play at the club for free, despite all that the club has done for Messi's career. And it turned out that Messi left in a situation when no one from the outside expected this, unlike last season, when leaving seemed to be a done deal.

Dortmund continue to win in the absence of Erling Haaland due to an injury. First, they defeated Sporting by 1-0. After that, they defeated Augsburg by 2-1. And the next competitor is Mainz. This is even a more difficult competitor for Dortmund. And Haaland is still not expected to play seemingly. Mainz had a good start to the season and they are competing well against big teams also. Leverkusen were able to score only one goal against Mainz even though they won the game. As a result, it seems like we can witness another win by one goal which is for Dortmund this time.
If Haaland had played, it would have been possible to speak with more confidence about the victory of Borussia, and so there will be a game of equal rivals. I will also give a small advantage to Borussia Dortmund, because the game will be in Dortmund. By the way, according to the information Borussia Dortmund tried to extend the contract with Haaland, raising his salary twice, but the player refused to extend the contract, which indicates the subsequent transfer of the player to a more status club. And it seems that there are more transition options than Mbappe with his Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid, so a kind of auction is planned with the last word of the player's representatives.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 10, 2021, 11:59:07 PM
I agree with you that Torino and Roma are different teams by a big margin. It will be unfortunate for Juventus if they still can't have Dybala in their attack. Chiesa alone can only do much. Yes, they have won the last 3 matches without Dybala and Morata but winning against Roma without Dybala would be a tough challenge in my opinion. And I just hope that Mourinho doesn't play park the bus, that tactics bore the hell out of me. I'm hoping for an exciting attacking match.
Slowly Allegri will find the right formation for Juventus even though there is no Dybala or Moratta, Allegri is a pretty smart coach, although with limited players, he is able to give maximum results just remember when he bring Milan scudetto with old players  Grin. This match is not only an opportunity for Mourinho to prove the quality of his strategy, but how Allegri can dispel doubts from the public that the victory in the last few matches is not a coincidence.
No one will deny that Allegri is beginning to achieve some success in instilling in Juventus the game that gave results in the previous period of the specialist's work at the club. Another question is that this game was not particularly spectacular, which eventually led to the parting of the club with Massimiliano and an attempt to rebuild the game first with Sarri, and then with Pirlo. This did not bring the expected result and even led to the loss of the title last season, and therefore Juventus returned to cooperation with Allegri. Mourinho, too, from the time of Porto, no longer differs much in the spectacular style of play, basing the result on, so we can not wait for an exciting spectacle from these two coaches, because now they have other main goals.

Benzema goal is the best one in this match, it requires a lot of talent and concentration although his team was 1 goal behind 2 minutes ago, I could say Benzema saved Deschamps this time Wink
I asked also whether Mbappe goal was legit. He was clearly in an offside position from that angle, the Spanish player touched the ball and modified its trajectory a bit then Mbappe continued the game and scored. I am not an expert but media will talk a lot about that imo.
Congratulations to France 1st position, it is well merited, congrats also to Spain for constructing a good team that might dominate the game in the future.
Benzema's goal came at the right time and did not allow the Spanish national team to feel their superiority and rebuild the team game according to the result of the match for this period. The Spanish national team had better control of the ball before, but the attacks of the French national team were more dangerous and when France failed to score once again hitting the crossbar with a rebound in front of the goal line, I said that such scattering moments could end badly and it really happened. However, Benzema's quick return goal quickly leveled the situation. As for Mbappe's goal, it turns out that it would be better if the Spanish player did not touch the ball. All these newfangled interpretations of the rules are confusing everything more and more, because Mbappe was still offside and the pass was clearly going to him. In any case, I would like to congratulate the French national team on a great game and winning the title!

Solskjaer has a strategy in every match so that rotation is sometimes required too.
Yep, rotation is required, that's the point of my comment above. You may view it from the strategy, while I viewed it from the effectiveness of putting Ronaldo on the first or second half of the match. Or even no need to play Ronaldo because of against weak teams. However, I assume the point is the same, is no need to always put Ronaldo as the starter.
You may think the same as me, if Ronaldo isn't a robot. He should need a rest, he plays at too many competitions. And he mostly plays full-time in each match he played. So, considering him to sit at the bench is very understandable.
Rest and rotation are different and also strongly depends on the player and his style of play. I am not sure that the best use of Ronaldo in a Manchester United team game is to be a substitute in the middle or even at the end of the game. Therefore, I want to agree with the opinion of such a renowned specialist as Alex Ferguson, who has long proved to everyone with his work that Ronaldo needs to be released in the starting lineup. Whatever kind of robot Ronaldo was or was not, but still he was obviously not signed in order for him to rush around the field like a madman and work out, cleaning up all the mistakes in defense and then completing all the attacks with goals. Ronaldo is an excellent finisher of the club's attacking actions, able to decide the outcomes of matches and that's what he does best, and not constant substitutions at the end of the match.

As long as Manchester United don't start improving their game much bigger than the current one, I also agree that they have no chance to win the league title this season. But the manager Ole Solskjaer still doesn't seem like he will try new ways to start winning their next games. He should already have understood that things won't go on nicely as long as he insists on the current game plan. Sometimes, changes are really good and this is the right time for doing that I believe.
Manchester United should start winning games very well, they're up against Leicester City, Will they win this match or loose again ? The coach has to do more and better than he's done for the team. Having a very tough fixture this October, they should give all the best for matches like this.
I am not sure that in this particular case a miraculous improvement is possible by the order of the game and therefore the improvement, if it comes, will be quite gradual with its ups and downs. Of course, in order to achieve a winning result, players must give their all to the fullest, leaving all their strength on the football field. Another question is that all this should be supported by thought, coaching thought in matters of tactics and the composition of the team for the game, and the thought of the players on the field. Just in a match with such an opponent as Leicester, we can make some idea of the strength of the club and Solskjaer's ability to cope with challenges. Another question is that the championship has not yet passed its fifth part and not to say that any club demonstrates an exorbitant level that is not available to rivals.

I also think that EPL teams in general have more strength than La Liga teams. Barcelona has already been nerfed without Messi and so is Real Madrid. After Ramos and Varane left, they are exposed in the back. In the meantime, teams like Utd, City, Chelsea have gotten so much better. Also not to forget Liverpool. They are also playing quite well. So all in all, I feel like EPL teams are somewhat better than La Liga teams in the CL.
Barcelona may be without Messi, Griezman. Real madrid maybe without sergio ramos, varane, but if this two teams meet an English team like Manchester United, Liverpool or even chelsea I would place a bet on the Spanish giant beating the English team, the champions league is about pedigree and history, small teams may be a bigger team, but when long time rivals meets, the one with the head to head match record mostly likely wins in the champions league. I even think a Spanish team would get to the final of the 2021/2022 UEFA champions league finals.
History is of course a great thing, but it can help, and it is not necessary at all, only in individual matches, but in a series of matches, a specific role will be played by the state, composition and strength at this point in time. It's just that you can't go far on club history, and if English clubs have better lineups and, accordingly, a team game, then representation in the final stages will be higher in theory. Another question, I myself would not like the total dominance of one European league over others and, accordingly, the representation of other clubs, but I repeat once again that you should not rely only on the club history and Real Madrid and Barcelona achieved their victories thanks to their players and wonderful squads that were clearly above average.
