1601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leverage Trading on: January 09, 2022, 01:55:42 PM
leverage trading and sports betting these two program is not going to suit many people around world reason they can't control the emotions of getting big money in short time.
Is there any reason to include sportsbetting here? Because, I am not seeing any relation between leverage trading and sportsbetting.

Even you are good in controlling your emotions, leverage trading may lead you to bite the dust as no market is predictable and these days bitcoin market is too wild in fluctuations even it got decent volume. So, dangers of leveraged trading will not get eliminated even you are able to manage your emotions effectively.

A small leverage is better than using high leverage and I don't advise newbies for it in any way.
Minimum leverage along with good technical analysis may get you profits but availing small leverage is not a problem for any trader but stronger technical analysis.
1602  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital asset is for holding on: January 09, 2022, 09:24:33 AM
Moving from the era of Real estate to stocks to metals to oil blocks and now digital assets we would agree those who made it big in all this investment options were those who had the patience to hold.
From the history only ponzis are profitable in short holding and all other real potential based opportunities are proven to provide big returns in long term holding hence digital assets cannot be an exception here. If you find any opportunity is profitable in long run then that must be categorized as legit and at the same time if short time profiting opportunities which are providing realistic returns like 2% to 10% then that also might be legit.

If you can't develop the hold attitude then the best option is to do a physical business
If you cannot remain patience enough then you cannot be a successful investor. Investing is the simplest way to enable your money to make money for you as you cannot keep earning till your end of days.
1603  Economy / Economics / Re: The crisis in Kazakhstan. Entering the occupation troops. Impact on the crypto on: January 08, 2022, 09:37:02 PM
When a nation has been ruled by just one single person for 30 years and it did not have this much impact, sometimes I question why people wake up so late. I mean this has been a global news type of deal, but they were ruled by a dictator for 30 years. Not that they never had any protests back then neither, they had some, but it never got to this point for some reason. Interestingly, this is good to see because politicians need to realize that there is a limit to their corruption, all over the world.

You can be corrupt and steal as a politician because that is literally what we come to expect from every single politician, which means that if you do it small enough then people will be fine because they expect you to steal money from them when you decide to be politician. Sad situation but it is the reality, however if you go too far then you will have protests like these.
1604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find Airdrop or ICO project? on: January 08, 2022, 08:26:11 PM
the Airdrops are not the same anymore, as it was in 2017 which was very profitable, now there are many that are obtained but never pay, in coinmarketcap it is different there if they pay the airdrops with certain tasks but what they give are very things minimum in dollars, around 1 to 3 USD, and it really is not profitable because they put many tasks to do and if you do some in the wrong way they do not even pay you, for now the best way I have found to make money but with high risk is buying tokens in presale and sell them in public sales.
That is mainly due to ETH not being viable on small giveaways anymore. Even when projects are giving out money in BNB, they are still spending awful a lot of money. For example sending could cost as high as $1 on peak times (rarely) but if they do it at that time on BSC, you are looking at 10k dollars if they distribute tokens to 10k people.

Not saying that it will cost that much, could be 50 cents to send, could be less or more, but in the end it is thousands of dollars just to give free tokens. If people pay it themselves then they see it as a scam for some reason, not that network fees goes to project creators so that is not the case. Nobody really wins these days, airdrops are a lose-lose situation no matter how you approach it, in most networks at least (the biggest ones).
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: January 08, 2022, 05:52:08 PM
I agree with this because of the pirated version of the movie. This leads to low income for the filmakers and it's not worth it to spend more. That is the reason why the cinema is dying right now: because they couldn't get enough money as people want only to watch it on their devices from pirates. Well, people saved a ton of money since it is expensive, but the result is that only a few are making movies right now.
Have to agree on this that there are so many pirated copies of movies from all versions of film industry and the rush in theatres for such movies is very low compared to real audience watching that movie. There are also torrent websites that upload them as early they are released for most of them and few days later we all have them all and people watch these pirated versions only. This has definitely cost the film industry a lot in terms of revenue loss but for people they just saved so much but strict actions have been taken against them and some sites have been blocked. But still they will be on web for users.
If you ask me streaming services dropped the amount of torrents a lot. Not that it is zero right now, it is still not zero but I believe it is not as bad as it used to be neither. You pay like 50 bucks on few streaming services and you would get more than what you need to watch ready for you whenever you want to watch something.

It is looking a lot brighter these days and I am feeling no need to torrent anything aside from maybe a few movies a year or sports matches that I have missed. Oscars especially should not be based on torrent or streaming, as long as the movie is good enough and academy decides that it is good enough then I would say every single movie has a chance to win. I have seen King Richard on torrent for example, but then the power of the dog is on netflix so why use a torrent? It is all about the chances that we have these days.
1606  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 07, 2022, 08:58:33 PM
This is something I was already doing from the very beginning as the RP are much more interesting than the lottery tickets. Before the WOF, I bought 1 lottery ticket every week as 1 ticket is sufficient to win something. And in the past one user already won the top prize with 1 ticket!
Of course, that lucky guy is a great example of the fact that only 1 lottery ticket is enough for a big win. However, the problem is that it only happened once in 344 rounds. By the way, I would also like to mention that I finally won 1 golden ticket. Cheesy Honestly, I'm a little glad because this is the first time I have won such a prize from the wheel of fortune since it was added to the site.

You do not have to buy one ticket. You could always gamble or claim free faucet and you will get tickets for it. Each ticket costs about 1 satoshi as well, and you can get tickets from wheel of fortune too which is free to enter once a day if I am not wrong, or maybe once every 2 days, based on your fun token this changes a lot. So all in all I have to say it is not something that is forces you to purchase only.

However even if you purchase, getting like 100-200 satoshi worth means 100-200 tickets and that's basically nothing, I get like 30+ satoshi each time I claim the free prize, meaning in 6 hours I can claim it 7 times (first time is null then one more each hour). Meaning I could get like 200+ tickets in just one day doing it 7 times. Looking at the winners, under 200 tickets kept winning almost every week, not all weeks I am sure but almost.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 07, 2022, 03:38:12 PM
When basic technologies such as AR and VR are not yet mature, are all the metaverse projects in the market a bubble?

Can $SAND $MANA still be invested?
Only if no decent projects come out of it. I mean there is this situation where we end up absolutely no decent project at all and in that case metaverse is just an idea. This is like asking "is ICO a bubble", well for some projects that you invested in they were bubbles, for some it wasn't and some of them are in top 10.

This shows that metaverse is just a word to describe a type of project, and doesn't mean it has to be good or bad. This is why metaverse will stay if there are good projects that carry it, and will be bad if there are none. Mana and Sand are good so far but they are just hyped right now, doesn't mean it will continue down this path.
1608  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 07, 2022, 01:58:18 PM
We're cheering for the underdogs in the @EmiratesFACup!

Throughout round 3 of the FA Cup, Stake will add $2,000 to a bonus drop every time a team knocks out their opponents who are in a higher division!

Who are you backing to be a Giant Killer? ⚔
Interesting promotion; every year in all cups (not only the FA cup) there are some surprises where top clubs get beaten by opponents in a lower division; so hopefully we will see some nice bonus drops! Also interesting to place some bets on the underdogs as there is quite some value in a lot of matches
I definitely agree that it will happen at least once. Most teams do not care about FA cup all that much, Klopp famously doesn't for example meaning Liverpool doesn't. So, I am pretty sure that there will be some wild bets out there against some of the biggest teams.

Let's see what happens with this and how much we could earn, I can't calculate what the reward be like, 2k+ per person is not it, so what do we get when we wager on an underdog and we win and how much we get for how much we wager etc etc, I am not sure about the details of it. However, I am pretty sure that as long as we keep on wagering for the underdogs, there is going to be at least one game where we are right (well at least hopefully).
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 07, 2022, 07:06:53 AM
Runs will continue to be added to England's scoreboard as long as their innings and partnership last. When they are both out. My prediction is that all other players will not be able to collect more than 70-80 runs.
But Ben Stokes got out, Jonny Bairstow is still smashing runs with strike rate more than 74 and Mark Wood on the other end batting at strike rate of 102. Bairstow may hit a century today. England's trail is depleting now for less than 180 runs. The last hour is usually known for more runs hence I expect another 50 runs from 14 runs.

I dont know why Zak Crawley and Haseeb are selected as opener for such a big contest.
In recent times, Haseeb Hameed is consistently opening for England regardless of no big hitting but Zak Crawley is a replacement for Rory Burns but he is also struggling to provide a good start for the visitors.
1610  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your opinion of the insurance industry? on: January 06, 2022, 09:36:04 PM
What could be truly disrupted in the insurance industry?
Would a DAO be the solution?
What is your view of the insurance industry )agents, brokers, various middlemen, insurance companies, reinsurance companies, regulators)?
Well, I know how much that most of us here likes things that has to do with decentralization, but everything cannot be decentralized. And one of those things I think will not work in this way is this insurance that you’re talking about. For a lot of reasons it is best that insurance companies stays as they are, and not really go into this decentralization stuff. And just like someone pointed out, if something should happen and you are not able to get your insurance money, then who do you point fingers at when it is a DAO platform? You wouldn’t have anyone to point fingers at since they are all anonymous. So I would say that this is not going to be changed at all.
Not everyone can, but some stuff can and haven't been so far and that is the real trouble. Crypto itself is getting a lot more centralized these days if you look at it, I mean there are some projects with literally founders who decide what goes.

Axie could close the game up today and they would crash to zero, which they are doing even with the game open to be fair, so it is really not a big deal. I have to say that it is not going to be a big problem for me, but there are many who see it as a problem. This is why keep on trying to do something that is more decentralized and try to find things that make centralized things into decentralized and you are going to be fine investing into them.
1611  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: January 06, 2022, 08:24:02 PM
while those kind of bank holidays are just a nuisance we know that when governments lose control of their economy they call for bank holidays to protect the banks from a rush against them so they do not go bankrupt, and not only that a bank holiday of that type can last for weeks in which you have no access to your savings, and once the bank holiday is over most likely the amount of money people had on their bank accounts has gone down or it has lost a great deal of its purchasing power during that time, something that cannot happen to bitcoin.
We literally have a system where the stock market could be stopped. You literally can't be trading on stock markets whenever the government wants to stop it. That is done to protect the stock prices to crash all of a sudden, and their reasoning turns out to be true some of them which is "crash is overreaction, in a few days it will be back on wherever, so stopping it allows people to relax and make sure".

Sometimes that's true, sometimes in a few days people forget all of it and stocks are back to where they are and if it wasn't stopped then many people would have lost a lot of money. However reality is that we are talking about something that is still too centralized and too dangerous.
1612  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Bull Market will Start on: January 05, 2022, 09:15:48 PM
Hello Everybody can we expect Bull market in January 2022, Can bitcoin create his ATH in 2022.
I dont  think this question have a spacefic answer, reason beeing that crypto market is not predictable, bull can come at anytime, and we are in new year, so anything can happen in cryptocurrency market, but what is important here now is that we should always be prepeard for such bull run in market, as the bull is a way some of us use to take advantage and invest so as to claim profit when the market becomes normal.
That is what we do around here though, don't we? I mean not that we can predict it correctly all the time, but what are we going to do if we do not predict? Investing is half predicting and half reading TA and here we do them both. Looking at how it is looking right now, people are making predictions or assumptions based on the indicators and data that they have, sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong but that doesn't mean that it will be all wrong or all right.

This is why you are free to make your own predictions here, but it is highly advised that you do not make trades based on what you read here. People are not responsible for your losses if you make a trade based on what some other person posted. All in all it is a fun place where we have fun, not to take it too seriously, and if it is information on how to do something, sometimes it is even valuable lesson.
1613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: January 05, 2022, 08:25:57 PM
Even though support and resistance is just a basic thing it helps a lot because it's already a hint for us if the market trend is a good thing or not but of course not all the time it works it depends on the large number of investor would like to sell it hold their assets. Like farming tokens right now it's no hope if there's no other burn mechanism to lessen the supply. Always check too the large holders because once they got their profit might sell and causes to panic selling others too.
It definitely did helped out a lot for me because support and resistance could be ignored during the hyped periods but could be very important during other periods. I personally feel like there is going to be some sort of break through the resistance eventually but until that happens the resistance is where we stop going up and support is where we stop going down. I am not saying that they are the only things that matter, obviously there are other stuff as well but that doesn't mean that we should not be checking it out neither.

There are some indicators that we could ignore more than we could ignore support and resistance levels, like for example having MACD or RSI checked every minute, it is really not going to change much at all.
1614  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BetFury.io|🎄NY Fest for $400 000|🏎 Win Porsche|🎁 Gift BOXes Campaign on: January 05, 2022, 06:36:45 PM
Total mined: 3 630 067 807 BFG
The number of tokens that have already been accumulated on the platform in total since the launch of the platform (including tokens that have been burned).

Total burnt amount: 1 470 227 373 BFG
The number of tokens that have been burned.
This is still a great thing, however I would like to mention something regarding the calculations. If you sold 17.4 million BFT, the price wouldn't be what it is right now, so how do we calculate the price? I mean it says 280k dollars worth of BFG was burned but if you were to sell 12 million tokens from lost bets then you would literally have the price crashing to unknowns, probably something like 0.000000001 cent or something, the market couldn't handle that much selling.

So, if we can't sell it for that much, then how do we calculate the price? We shouldn't, we do not need to write the dollar amount there, just write in the token world. If we were to care about fiat all that much, we would be in stock market, just 17.4 million tokens burned is good enough information. Like I said at first, it is a great news, more BFG burned equals all of our BFG being worth more in the future. It may not reflect right away, but it will in the long term.

I told myself I wouldn't be trying my luck again so soon, but got slightly addicted from yesterday's sneaky little run into 9th so I've pumped a bit of action into it again today.

@OP good to see you acknowledge problems and fix them rightaway. All publicly in chat too, that's going to go a long way to your reputation. Can't wait to see the serious updates, especially for loading issues Wink
Since it is the new year and we all got bonuses (well the ones that have bonus on their work) it is normal to spoil yourself a bit. I did the same both here and on my sportsbook betting as well, wagered a bit more than what I usually do and that's fine by me. I get that some people may not be wanting to see their situation go south too quickly and they get a worrying sensation whenever they lose more than usual.

However, for me this is just a spoiling myself situation. I do not wager with a lot of money, usually just 50 bucks a month deposited, and this month I jacked it all up to 75 bucks each, so instead of 100 bucks total, I had 150 bucks total and I am doing fine so far not going to lie, in profit for the time being. Let's see what's going to happen, but I feel like once in a while we should be able to gamble the way we want as long as we can get back to regular self eventually.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: meta is the future ???? on: January 04, 2022, 06:06:54 PM
Even if Meta is the future, it will need time to attract the investor's attention. So they must research deeper to find the Meta project since if Meta is the next thing that happens in crypto, many Meta projects will come to the market. If they do not be careful in researching the project, they will not have a chance to make a profit instead will only waste their money in investing in the wrong project.

Sand is one promising project so far as the project is still running and have good progress and have a chance to increase for more. It is good if you have already invested in Sand to make a big profit later.
The thing is, people always flock to the first thing they see with a new technology and they never look at the improving new versions of it. Like for example Bitcoin is great and all, but we all know that if we had to compare tech, I wouldn't even put it on top 100 right now, and yet it is at the top, ETH passed bitcoin in tech long time ago and should be at the top if we think logically.

Same will happen with meta, people are too into sand, mana, axie and all of that, and even if there is a better version out there one day, they will not invest into it heavily, they will keep these three at the top of meta world. If we can change that idea and finally get something decent, then I am pretty sure we will do better.

First of all i don't really think that Hamilton will retire. He is not that old yet with 36 years for a race driver and i would say he could compete at the highest at least 4 or 5 more years, just look at Alonso and how well he did. In the end hamilton decides for himself if he wants to keep on racing or if he wants to quit. Rosberg quit immediately after he won the championship back in 2016 and maybe hamilton quits now after he lost that championship in such a dramatic way. Maybe he is also afraid that Mercedes won't be in such a strong position now with the new cars and he does not want to risk it to drive for the positions 8 to 12 or so.
I do agree that he won't retire at all, I feel like he will come back with 100% fire in his heart. It was a bad loss, literally last lap of the last race and questionable one. Even though I dislike Hamilton a lot, doesn't mean that dude didn't deserve it, and after all these years of hating him for dominating and not letting anyone else win, I feel like this last championship day was the most I liked him because of all the drama and unfairness.

I agree that another 4-5 years is still possible, but even if nothing else, dude signed a contract this year for until 2023 season, so I feel like at least that much, sure this last race may have changed some love for the race he had, but I doubt it was enough to make him retire. All in all Gasly is not really that bad, I feel like he could definitely replace for a while, George and Gasly would be enough with those cars to be around the top for sure.
1618  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: January 03, 2022, 07:23:24 PM
although it is not very bad that many people give news and speak well of BTC, because it is something that remarkably falls well with the internal economy, although people know more about BTC, the good news quickly reaches those who They are the least believers, and who have doubts, I particularly know many people who believe that BTC is a scam, who believe that whoever puts money into BTC is going to lose everything, but it is because of the wrong news that appears on TV and because of the huge FUD of the big chains like CNN and other traditional economists.
Right from the first time when I started hearing about Bitcoin, there has been good news about Bitcoin and those who were able to make huge profit from it, and even those that were said to become millionaires by investing in Bitcoin. That never made some people to stop saying that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general is a scam.

I believe that there has been enough stories of people’s success through cryptocurrency that should have convinced a lot of people by now to know that cryptocurrency is not a scam, but there are still those that thinks otherwise. You can’t force them to believe what they don’t want to believe, everyone has the freedom to make their own choice, and it’s not a must that we all are going to be making use of cryptocurrency or investing in it. Whatever you feel is right for you then you just do it.All of us can’t be making use of cryptocurrency.
1619  Economy / Economics / Re: Advice for the season. on: January 03, 2022, 06:47:00 PM
Preparing for the new year is the best option. You can't see the financial challenges that is coming in the new year. It is better money should be saved to be ready to face what comes in the year. Planning to meet up challenges is the best not celebrating without any Planning for the new phase of life.
Yes, it’s good to prepare for the new year. But as well people should feel free to celebrate since this is an occasional thing, it only happens once in every year. So people can celebrate, but as they are celebrating, they should also be conscious of the spending that they are making during this time of celebration. They should make sure that they are spending little money for the celebration, and not waste all their money just because they want to celebrate. A nice dinner with your family is enough for you to celebrate Christmas and the new year, and that wouldn’t be bad.

So I had a great holiday season all with the help of Bitcoin I came from an underdeveloped country where the rate of unemployment is pretty high and many youths are left to do some hard jobs just to survive even graduates with University degrees have no paying jobs I got to know about this forum some months ago and since then my financial life was transformed and the Christmas happens to be my best I can now earn little money to take care of my financial needs all with the help of Bitcoin-related jobs both on this forum and off the forum. BITCOIN IS A SAVIOR
Yes, bitcoin has really changed the life of a lot of people around the world, and I’m not going to lie, Bitcoin is also what really changed my life to what it is now. If there was nothing like Bitcoin I would have been living in difficulties  by now. But, for the fact that I got to know about Bitcoin really changed everything, and I was able to start making good income to be able to also handle a lot of things in my life and live my life comfortably.

Although I know this might not be the case for a lot of people, because I’ve also seen people who tried and it never really worked out for them like it did for me ,  it's just all about you being able to utilize the opportunities that you see in this community.
