1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: November 01, 2023, 05:38:26 PM
No one knows that especially when it comes to altcoin because there isn't any pattern since it's not like bitcoin which can give multiple returns and often the rise of altcoin happens post Bitcoin's bullrun, so it's better to not experiment with altcoin at this stage because the so-called experts predicting in Twitter, Youtube & Telegram literally has zero knowledge and just predict based on current market trend and their end goal is to sell their channel membership but there are some who suggest good indicators to use, I would suggest hodling onto bitcoin until the price pumps and gets stable as once the Bitcoin's price pumps and stabilizes that's when altcoin's value starts pumping.

I would personally stick to Bitcoin primarily and I feel the value of BNB is going to increase as well because Binance is running a lot of activities which increases the demand of BNB and slows down the selling ratio of BNB and ETH is a must when you think of Altcoin investment.
1602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you any of pump groups or Channel ? on: November 01, 2023, 03:02:33 PM
It's a scam I can share numerous telegram groups like that and they already buy some alts at lesser price as whales are part of it and manage to pool in thousands of users making the same promise which they made to you and asks users to enter the buy at certain time and just before that they manage to buy a huge chunk which triggers upward trend and once the users also starts buying it keeps the market floating at same price for few mins and they then short it and sell off everything at bulk and they boast that their prediction was true and shares the snap of temporary pump market gets because of their manipulation and users buying in. I suspect your post unless you provide a clear evidence.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin by 9gag on Binance on: November 01, 2023, 01:48:39 PM
This is like an awakening call for everyone that not all the tokens listed in binance has to be the best and at the end of the day everyone looks for their own benefit and Binance will definitely get benefitted by this so does the meme coin but at the end of the day it's investors who will be at the losing end and we are noising noise because it's happening through launchpad but in the past there are dozens of shitcoins which were listed by Binance and got delisted later once Binance got it's share and investors lost the value of their investment. We should take a pledge of doing through research before going for any coin and shouldn't blindly invest because it's getting listed in top CEX like Binance.

To be honest this project lacks everything and there are no clear roadmap not steps how they are gonna evolve in the future, it's time we stop falling for traps of big exchanges and meme coins which has no real life use (especially this one).
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 01, 2023, 07:28:51 AM
Litecoin is past it's peak now as it was used as quickest mode of payment transfer when bitcoin transactions were taking ages with high charges, I still remember using it to transfer my funds back in 2017 and I did invest in it during September 2017 when it was around $80, just before the bullrun and cashed out during December when it was around $300 and after that we have not seen any pump in Litecoin for roughly three years before it briefly touched ATH in 2021 which is still surprising because it was very rare for an existing coin which was part of 2017 bullrun to achieve ATH in 2021 bullrun. But if we have a look there are much better projects available in terms of faster transaction and almost zero transaction fee wherein Litecoin was known for lightening transaction speed in the past and new players have taken over this aspect of crypto and practically I don't find even a single valid reason to invest into LTC and I believe any investor will think in the same line. We should take a pause on LTC.
1605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: October 31, 2023, 09:25:27 PM
Usually last quarter of the year is considered as best time of the year for crypto since we have experience bull runs during last quarter of the year in the past hence I anticipated some upward trend but not to this extend because at one point we didn't touch $35k since mid 2022 which was briefly surpassed on 24th October this year before dropping below $35k and this news about possible approval of ETF is bringing more money from investors leading to increase in price of Bitcoin which is attracting short term investors and traders to consolidate their investment in Bitcoin. I would say ETF news is serving as cherry on top for the rumours of possible bull run which makes round every year during Oct/Nov/Dec, but I am afraid it won't EFT doesn't go the way it's predicted and expected then we might see some panic selling which could pull down the value of Bitcoin. Let's utilise this until it lasts instead of going in-depth unless you are a long term investor.
1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised exchange getting better than Decentralised exchange? on: October 31, 2023, 07:41:49 PM
It completely depends on our preferences as some of us especially newbies don't bother much about the account security as they only focus on aspects like user interface, trading volume and some advanced features like bot trading, grid trading, and margin/futures trading and only centralized exchange can provide these features but t the same time there are tenured and more sensible users who prefer decentralized exchange but this comes at the cost of limited liquidity (volume), not great user interface and minimal support compared to centralized exchange but with DEX one don't have to worry about the risk of the account being frozen, also it can be used at any part of the world as CEX has its own geo-restriction and they have total control over your funds as they have access to private keys and we have seen so many exchanges going bankrupt or owner running away with funds but DEX eliminates all these risks.

I prefer a hybrid model wherein I need the security and anonymity of DEX with user interface, advanced features, and liquidity but there isn't any such exchange available in the market so I prefer CEX only for daily trades and not hodl.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: October 31, 2023, 05:49:19 PM
Most altcoins are not ideal for long term holding and one altcoin that performed really well in the last bull run usually doesn't do well in the next one. As an example look at SOL coin performance in the last bull run it was astonishing. If SOL even touches its last ATH then its market cap will be more than 100 billion, which is not reasonable to think about a project like Solana. It already shows how vulnerable the network is. Other major altcoins have their problems.

So if you are looking for altcoins to invest in for the next season then I suggest you pick a new project that has strong fundamentals and support. Look for projects that weren't on the trend in the last bull run. The meme project was trending in the last bull run so there is a nominal chance it will be again. Tradefi, Web3, AI, GameFI are some categories that you can consider looking for. If you look at ongoing development category-wise, then it's clear that DeFi and GameFI are trending right now. For the other category RWA, AI doesn't have so many projects on them so it will be easy for you to choose your top alt from them. Decentralized social media is also a potential topic for the next altseason.

Aligned with your opinion as I have made similar post earlier and we look at last two bullrun we have not seen any Altcoin achieving ATH both the time and it would be a wrong bet to go with Altcoin which has propped in the previous bullrun and rather go for emerging altcoins which has the potential and the project prospect which is need of the hour.

I would rather hodl bitcoin because bitcoin is the first coin to go bonkers during bullrun and then altcoins starts pumping and we need to utilise the spur o moment because it's not advisable to hodl as it may take ages to recover the investment if the market dumps and I have experienced this numerous times at the initial days of my investments. But we can gamble by investing into Altcoin when it hits rock bottom and wait for months or even a year or two to multiply value of our investment.

1609  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 end game sentiment check on: October 29, 2023, 07:10:20 PM
We have seen all the signs which has happened in the previous bull runs like pump in the value of bitcoin and altcoin following the same path. But this doesn't possibly mean we will have a bull run because if this turns out to be bull trap then it would be a disaster. I feel Bitcoin will breach $40K by the end of the year atleast once and if it sustains more than $40K for a fortnight then it will be racing towards new ATH.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk predicts X will replace banks in 2024 - The Verge on: October 28, 2023, 09:57:20 PM
Unrealistic and I have lost hope on Elon's commitment especially after all these doge and shibainu drama and it's a very ambitious plan wherein I doubt there would be any adoptability by the common people and high chances of messing it up, moreover how do you think bankers will let this happen ? He is just creating hype which we have seen during his alleged back up for doge which never happened and as a result lot of investors who invested in doge believing his statement lost their investment when doge dumped.
1611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much could you earn in a day ? on: October 26, 2023, 07:58:27 PM
Yes it's possible to make profit of 1% in a day, provided you know what you are doing and knows the signals when to buy/sell else it would be difficult and one can end up losing. Initially stay away from the future trading and don't even think of it I still consider it as a gamble where more than 80% of trader lose money in greedy of quick and hefty profits.
1612  Economy / Speculation / Re: 127% Up from Bottom in 2022 on: October 25, 2023, 08:36:32 PM
While i appreciate your understanding about Bitcoin and trust on Bitcoin but if you check how many of us were hodling bitcoin from the time it went rock bottom in November 2022 till now you will only find long term investors and few more as we go with emotions and end up taking making decisions which makes us regret and we never learn that's the problem. Bitcoin is undoubtedly an asset which will always bounce back post bear run and many can make such predictions but what matters theost is the trust and inder of community on Bitcoin which has to be upscaled.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on: October 23, 2023, 08:00:55 PM
Either your customers are frauds or else they are behind this shit coin because I have not heard of them and even if you wish to accept payment in crypto then go for top altcoin which are less volatile or just stick to bitcoin because there is a huge risk involved and I had my hope on one such coin named "Utrust" which has been rebranded as xMoney and this coin solved the issue where you can request payment in crypto and have it deposited as fiat in your account.

1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Loom network madness on: October 21, 2023, 06:45:32 PM
It's not something new and what else can we expect from a coin wherein almost half of its supply is held by one account, this was a dead project wherein development was halted and they are not even active but still once people saw it pumping they got panicked and got into FOMO mode and jumped in without doing research. We need to remember that there were hundreds of coins which played similar techniques and if we are going to invest or if we see any coin pumping more than 10% we should check about the coin's potential and reason behind the pump, if we don't find any valid reason behind pump then it's a scripted plan from developers or group of traders to pool in more money and dump it when it's at peak.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can it be real bull or just a temptation. on: October 20, 2023, 08:44:11 PM
I would refrain from passing judgements whether these are signals for bullrun or one more bull trap because in the past we have often seen bull run usually starts during last quarter of the year and looking at the market movement and it's coincidence with what's happening between SEC and XRP this can be considered as a signal of bullrun but we have often been bull trapped so it would be better to wait for some more time and set up a target for BTC like $40k or $35k and if it crosses these marl then we can review the market again and decide whether it's a bull run or not because BTC has been fluctuating between $25k and $30k for a while now hence only based on these fluctuations we cannot blindly consider as bull run. It would be better to wait for a while instead of FOMO.
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: October 18, 2023, 07:41:38 PM
I believe most of the altcoin which boomed during the previous bull run has already touched their ATH and it's difficult for these coin to achieve new ATH similarly to the coins like XRP, LTC, XRP, etc which touched it's peak during 2017/2018 bull run and couldn't break it during 2021. There would be new set of coins which has untapped market potential they will be the coins to look for, as to answer your question I feel coins like ICP, SOL, MATIC, ADA & Uniswap may achieve 10x in upcoming bull run (Not predicting).
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 16, 2023, 06:47:58 PM
I would choose Litecoin if the transaction amount is huge as I cannot risk transaction of huge amount at the mercy of an meme coin which can pump to 10x or dump to zero at anytime, I have used Litecoin in the past when they were not many lightening speed transaction options available and I know Doge is cheaper and faster than LTC but as I said if it's higher amount I would go with LTC and if it's smaller transaction I will go ahead with Doge.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 15, 2023, 09:58:43 PM
To put it in simple words there are some factors due to which users prefer centralized exchange over decentralized exchange is because of user interface and transaction speed and more volume with more trading pairs which are not possible in DEX (to the extend of top centralized exchanges). DEX needs to pull up the socks and start working towards making it user friendly in order to gain more customer base because users are left with no choice rather to switch to CEX knowing that their data is exposed.
1619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You are also like them? on: October 14, 2023, 08:21:17 PM
It's a a sad thing because there are hundreds and thousands of youtubers who have their so called VIP paid group where are just looting people with their random bullshit predictions and I have checked out few channels where they will ask you to buy some altcoins for long term and then couple of week later they themselves will advice against investing on those coins. They just suggest numerous coins as well and even if 99 out of 100 prediction goes wrong but they will make a promotional video of that 1 prediction which went well with testimonials this gaining for buyers for their paid group. There are people who predict genuinely and have a proven track record and those don't push you to buy membership and all. Better to stay away from these crooks.
1620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges essential for mass adoption? on: October 12, 2023, 06:14:58 PM
The cryptocurrency industry is currently at a critical stage and the role of exchanges can either "Make or Marr" the growth of the space.

Since 2009 till date, the industry has encountered a mouth watering growth with many institutional adoption of which Honda Motors is the latest to announce purchase of their product via crypto. Let's not also forget Elon Musk also accept payment of crypto for his Tesla cars and other big institution around the world also accept crypto as means of payment to obtain their goods.

This shows the world and future of crypto look promising but one area of particular interest that could potentially hinder this growth seems to be compliance by crypto exchanges to be regulated which of course I personally deem important because of the past event of scam from exchanges, hacks and collapse of some CEX which left investors in shambles.

The leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance which is supposed to take the lead in regulatory compliance seems to be having troubles with many countries already due to one regulatory issues to another ranging from licensing, operating within the legal framework of the country and compliance to regulation in general which have caused their exit from countries like United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, Japan and others. Recently Bybit another top crypto exchange has also exited the UK market raising an eye brow about the readiness of this exchanges to extant laws that seek to protect the interest of users and investors.

If this turn of events towards rejecting to be regulated by countries persist, crypto might prolly fade away with time especially if some top exchanges are not operational in top countries like USA, UK, Canada, Japan and the rest.

What are your thoughts?

If regulating the cryptocurrency exchange will...
1. Guarantee the safety of our investments
2. Guarantee that people's investments can be recovered in event of winding up of a particular exchange or perceived scam.
3. Guarantee that people or investors can still carryout operations freely just like in DEX with no strict regulations.

Then, majority of the people will have confidence in cryptocurrency and will be willing to adopt it. Countries too will adopt it since they can now control the system  .

This is not gonna happen and what is gonna happen upon regulation would be as follows:
1. Taxing not just their withdrawal amount but also every single trade like happened in India which pushed some well know crypto exchanges like coindcx & kuber coinswitch to have mass layoffs of their workforce and they are at the brink of either shifting their operations to other country or going bankrupt
2. Eventually crypto will die if regulated because once regulated they can play it as per their benefits and it would be nothing short of a volatile low market cap mutual funds.

Rather, we need to have an genuine inbuild crypto community for this which should work independently unlike some ICO ranking sites who takes bribe and rate projects, we need to build a community amongst ourselves and set up protocols to be applied on crypto projects to be considered as validated projects and there should be monthly review. It not as simple as I have mentioned as there need to be a proper planning and require lot of funds to set this up. Crypto enthusiasts should come together for this else we will be left at the mercy of either the government/regulators or corrupt crypto orgs.
