1601  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 26, 2015, 11:01:01 PM
Any giveaway for reaching 6th billion bets ? or i didn't see it ?

Primedice has been great about promotions in the past.

However, Stunna just got taken advantage of in the last one by a mod.  So I'm thinking he is not so high on doing another one in the near future.

I had seen where there were also shifting more to reddit and facebook, it may make sense to check in there.

Hopefully I'm wrong and another promo will be rolling soon, I've always appreciated them.  Good Luck!

There is no definitive proof about it being true, some people share IP because there are just few billions of IPs for all internet device, and Eal denied the claims. Only admins could say that there is enough evidence to say that the accounts are alts of EAL or not, but they said they will not.

Here in the forum just share the same IP is not enough to say that people are the same:

There are many reasons people may share an IP.

-Tor
-VPN
-other proxies
-ever posted using your phone while on a friends wifi, or a public wifi? Sorry, you're an alt now.
-coffeeshops
-offices
-libraries
-on and on

Not to mention the fact that it is not uncommon, in less developed countries, for ISP's to use NAT systems and put many, many users behind the same IP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrier-grade_NAT). To simplify this, it's the same way all your computers and devices within your local network have different IPs, but to the outside world you have one.

Yes there are ways to find alts, but seeing users share an IP is just a start, that by itself in most cases is not conclusive.

Alts= alternate accounts, or other accounts owned/controlled by you.
Aha so I am asking for simple checks that is all. It is up US to decide using our heads if those are alts or just coincidence -  NAT proxy or whatever
Just a regular statistic to be published somwhere regulary that is what I am after

You wouldn't have the information you need to arrive a decision, it would just be a guess.

Besides, it's not any of your business. It's not any of mine either really, unless the person is scamming or breaking forum rules. In that case I will usually share what information I can.

1604  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can Bitcoin wallets goes down ? on: July 26, 2015, 10:48:31 PM
They can't go down, but they can fail to connect to the internet, or the data stored by them may get corrupted, if the there are hard drive issues or if you deleted some files or if you installed a corrupted version of the wallet.

Try to reinstall and check disk integrity, if you are sure the wallet can receive and send connections
1605  Other / Meta / Re: Why my friend cant register from smartfon ??? on: July 26, 2015, 10:40:35 PM
BTCtalk has several reports of performance problems, with connection timed out problems, forum offline, connection refused, etc. I think this is not a problem with him or his smartphone, but if he is using 3g or similar, maybe the connection was too slow when he tried.

And Tor is unusable over 3g too.

The info about local bitcoin people are public, no surprise that Romanian intelligence will mark them, they are heir of KGB, that has billions of files about everything you can think about.

I think it is nothing personal

Which will happen first: falsification of docs and false information given to sites or some micro organisms that no one will care about after 1 week found somewhere in the Solar System?

The bears arent nervous, theyre gone. The bear market is over.

Tarmi was online today but hasn't posted since July 8th.

You can tell things are different now. The price is within a few dollars of a critical juncture and this place is dead. Truly this is the end of a bear market, sheer boredom whilst the price slowly rises.

do you mean: sheer boredom whilst the bear trolls are gradually replaced by the bull train and moon trolls, while the price increases

1613  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Starting from the bottom now we... need help on: July 26, 2015, 03:08:37 PM
Your power costs are exceedingly cheap, so mining could certainly be profitable for you.  A budget of $500 will not get you a lot of hardware, though.  For that money you're looking at an S5, which will hash at about 1155 GH/s.

Your profit entirely depends on the network difficulty and the exchange rate.  As of right now, that S5 would expect to mine 0.01111BTC a day... Or about $3.19.  The S5 draws 590W, so given your rate, will run you $0.354 a day.  Therefore if you were mining right now you'd net about $2.83.

You can buy directly from China for cheaper, more miners, less price.

And mining is profitable even with $500 budget, so I guess that people forecasting a mining collapse are just bullshitting
