1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bittrex / Poloniex / Cryptsy All Coin Trading Software, Quatloo Trader. on: July 01, 2015, 07:04:17 AM
If you are in a hurry and don't want to wait until cryptsy makes the 502 error go away you could try to trick your software to use pubapi2 with an entry in your hosts file.
Basically just add an entry for pubapi.cryptsy.com with the IP of pubapi2.cryptsy.com to your hosts file and your software shoud access the latter.
While it should, I have no idea if it does actually work, but if you are impatient it might be worth a try.

FWIW: I do not have the quatloo trader, but I am picking up exchange rates from cryptsy with a script and got all of sudden 502 bad gateway errors.
After mangling my code without success for quite some time I tried to change the host from pubapi.cryptsy.com to pubapi2.cryptsy.com and my problems are gone since then.
I have no clue if you can change the API host in this program but if you can it might help to try pubapi1 and pubapi2.

Thanks for the link to the new thread, I was using 0.6.4 and have now compiled the 0.6.5 from this Github repo.

It looks much better now, but I am still stuck at 1-3 connections most of the time. My node is on public ip, so port is open anyways.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DROP] Dropcoin - Wallet Update | New Algo | No IPO/ICO/premine on: June 09, 2015, 04:29:21 PM
Windows wallet links updated. Please upgrade to at least version 0.10 as the network will slowly stop accepting blocks created by previous versions.
I can`t compile wallet from source.
Change name in files /src/test/ test_bitcoin.h to test_dropcoin.h
alert_tests.cpp
base32_tests.cpp
etc...
so many bugs

Try to run configure with "--disable-tests"

I don't have sync too but you could also add my node:
157.161.128.62

A node with sync would be highly welcome.

Yes, 8108 for rpc and 8106 for network.

I tried the above node list as well and I am also still stuck with only one connection to the ip below:

Code:
128.8.124.7:50874

Would also love to get some more nodes.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitMiles (BTMi) Launched - First Cryptogenic Frequent-Flyer Miles on: June 02, 2015, 07:09:06 PM
Glad it worked, we have 2 connections too now.

If anybody wants our ~470k BTMI, please PM me with an offer.

I will buy 1 BTMI = 0,1 Satoshi

Ok, send me your BTMI address and I'll transfer my balance. Once you received it you can pay me.
It will probably be difficult as there seem to be no more nodes now, I have 0 connections.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING "WIFICoin" IS A VIRUS / TROJAN !!! on: May 28, 2015, 12:44:33 PM
Thanks for the warning too!
I am still very new here, but my rule of thumb has become not to mine or install anything when there is no suprnova pool for it. Worked out pretty fine so far.

I don't remember, I have pulled the above node from an email exchange with bittrex where I sent them my getpeerinfo.
I restarted one of our BitMilesd but after 10mins I still have no connections. Seems like no nodes up anymore.

You can get the current blockchain from our node in the next hours before we shut it down finally, but it may as well be a fork - dunno:

157.161.128.53

1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]BitMiles (BTMi) Launched - First Cryptogenic Frequent-Flyer Miles on: May 27, 2015, 10:14:08 AM
We mined BTMI until a few days ago when bittrex removed it.
At this time there seemed to be 3-4 nodes, 2 from us, one from bittrex and another one.
As we have stopped our bitmiles daemons and bittrex removed it, there is possibly only one or no node left.
The only node not being us or bittrex was 71.175.81.45:29156 I believe, eventually this node is still up and you can sync from it.

1614  Economy / Computer hardware / 4x Gridseed G-Blade (5.2-6Mh/s) Scrypt miners for sale (Switzerland) on: April 02, 2015, 03:35:08 PM
I have 4 used Gridseed G-Blades script miners for sale. They are all in very good condition and can be run at 600-825MHz depending on ambient temperature, resulting in ~5-6Mh/s depending on pool/coin you mine on. Running at 800MHz on litecoinpool, the 4 together average at ~22MH/s.
The units come with USB cables but without power supplies, power supplies are available on request (see below).

I am asking for CHF 85.00 or 0.35 BTC per unit.

The miners are shipped from Switzerland, preferrably to Switzerland or Liechtenstein).
Shipping within Switzerland is flat CHF 10.00, insured next day delivery. Shipping outside Switzerland is done with UPS Express Saver, but can get a bit expensive (~30-60 CHF) due the weight and is not recommended. Also if shipped to outside Switzerland be prepared to pay import duties and your local VAT.

Power supplies are available together with the miner: CHF 15.00 for 230VAC-12VDC/10A desktop power supply or CHF 30.00 for 230VAC-12VDC/20A (not desktop).

If you buy more than one of them, I offer 10% discount on the unit price and shipping.

If you are interested, please send me PM.
