1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero vs Boolberry Chess Challenge and CryptoNote technical discussion on: October 09, 2015, 07:25:56 AM

Wow, Monero Mustangs very aggressive!  Or baiting???   Tongue

Nice to see the fractious Cryptonote community coming together from some intramural activity.   Cool

This isn't that aggresive. My normal games at the chess club are way more aggresive.  Grin

It's not crazy aggro but still...relative to BBR's defensiveness....

The point is we control the middle!   Cool

Here is a game of my from a few weeks ago. I was white(elo 1650) and playing against a much stronger player (elo 2050). http://nl.lichess.org/efV5n8Cd

It was a very weird game where i made a big mistake at the end. I finally stood better but played to fast at the end.  Sad

I cant able to log in sites required a captcha, but im not seeing a captcha on page.

It might be your browser, try chrome or firefox.

Or try refreshing your page? That's all I got.

I don't get the captch when I open the site on an other page then the website. For example when I go directly to minerfarm.com/claim I get a loginscreen without the captcha. Nothing to do with slow connection.

Damn I already like our (black) position. The white queen is very bad positioned. Just develop our bishop on the diagonal to prevent he does that.

Does anyone use the Portableapps.com WinBoard Portable http://portableapps.com/apps/games/winboard_portable ?

I'd like to turn the clock off, but can't work out how.  Thanks.

I use Arena - http://www.playwitharena.com/. Very nice free program where you can also add some free strong engines like Stockfish and Houdini.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 08, 2015, 08:35:50 AM
Theres no solid strategy in gambling specially in dice. You will win less , you will lose more. That's gambling life, must know when to stop and withdraw. Don't aim in big profit you will end up busted.

I was watching user Gab yesterday on MagicalDice. He was up 5 BTC but keep playing and finished his session with -2 BTC. Typical example of playing to long.

Just looked at the position some more. We are in trouble

Indeed we are.

My vote is also for trading.

By the way, since yesterday I am official Chess Teacher 1.  Grin

That is great! Who are you teaching?

I am teaching the kids at our chess club. I have followed a course from the Dutch Chess Association to become a chess teacher. It was the first course, they also got some more courses to even become a better teacher.

When is magicdice2 coming out?

Our devs said it's possible they'll have it ready in 3 weeks. Although even if it is ready in that time-frame, we'll be doing a much more thorough beta test this time since there was a few too many bugs when we launched MD1. The beta test will last roughly 2 weeks to make sure everything is perfect.

All in all, a little over a month until it will be ready. It will be worth the wait though I promise! Tongue

What are you going to improve on Magicaldice 2?
Yeah, Stars, give us a hint what will be improved and what will be new on Magicaldice2?

MD2 will be way more user-friendly with a few new cool features nobody has seen before Wink I don't want to spoil the surprise yet since we're still a month from launching but will definitely let you guys know soon!

I have a serious suggestion cum request, Please add keyboard shortcuts in MD2 as I am really lazy and clicking on that roll hi button just makes me mad and adding keyboard shortcuts will attract more gambling action.

Keyboard shortcuts are good, but i have seen people complaining about losing btc because of hotkeys. So you should be careful with it Smiley

We have keyboard shortcuts planned for md 2 And we will have a enable/disable button😉

That's nice. Then we can loose our money a much faster. Cheesy

Lol joking, nice feature to have. Can you tell us already a bit more? please please  Roll Eyes
1620  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: October 07, 2015, 06:58:42 AM
wait for halving and we will see a increase until then it will be slow

Halving is not such a magical happening as you think it is.. Last halving had nearly no effect. Litecoin halving had not effect. Only some altcoins with insane coin generation saw an effect, but that also didn't last.

Halving has no influence on distributed coins, and therefore the marketcap does not suddenly change dramatically.

People keep thinking the price will double but it just there arent that much new coins as before. It was also with Dogecoin a few months ago. Everyone was exited about the halving but really nothing happend with the price.
