1601  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 12, 2023, 09:04:44 AM
You should take a look at BTCGOSU:
https://www.btcgosu.com/
Thank you for your suggestion. While I'm aware of btcgosu, I am not familiar with the criteria they use to rank casinos. So, I would prefer direct recommendations from respected members of this forum.

If Effie isn't a trusted member then I don't know who is:

Before writing a review he checks a casino and everything they have to offer, and his criteriums are pretty high. On the site, you have his detailed reviews and ratings, but you can also rate any casino as well:

I will suggest Starsbet. A relatively new casino, they don't have many games as some others, but recently they added a new one, so I guess they are working on that. It's a dividend-based casino, and I can say that daily payouts are nice for the amount of the Stars tokens I hold. I have a lot of deposits and withdrawals, so I guess it's a nice place that has the potential to become even better in the future!

... and some promotions/competition in this forum...

As a guy who won some of them, I can only say that I expected a more challenging competition each time. I guess it's the same thing that happened with poker (Efi started the first bitcointalk poker tournament), although the prizes were very good after some time people lose interest...

The year just started, I am sure we will see some new promotions & competitions very soon.

Nice rewards from WoF's spins rolls today. That is the ideal results in my opinion: few lottery tickets, average number of RPs and a lot of sweet satoshis! 5000 satoshis prize and 500 RPs prize in 45 spins. Really good, I was waiting for that since a long time already, but it has finally come!

Here is my winning to make you feel more PROUD about your winnings.
(Your spins 45
My Spins 96)
...
My Sats: 1770
My RP: 1560
My Lott: 150
GT: 00

Well, I decided to break some of my records. I guess that having locked tokens for a year comes with some benefits, every once in a while I get one more free spin daily:

...but still did not reach the next GT (did I mention the progress counter would be helpful...?)....

Yes, you did, and I will support you again on this! Smiley

Buy the way, I am curious to know if any user here has ever won that lambo ticket, or the lambo itself, been a very long time that has been on the board but I've never seen an announcement that a user actually won it.
I've already won some lambo tickets on the WoF. Sometimes it does happen. But for this round I still haven't won any golden tickets. About lambo winners we don't know any of them. I just remember it was said last winner was someone from the forum, although he didn't want to show himself publicly.

I won many "Lambo tickets", from the daily free spin we get in the mail, and from the daily spins we get from holding FUN tokens. I think the last winner is from the forum, if you scroll through the thread you will find his comments somewhere. If you focus on the days when the last Lambo draw was held you will find him easier.
1604  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: January 10, 2023, 08:17:55 PM
I think this black Friday fever bonus should be over now but however be the case, I do not really think I need anything right now for a Friday bonus but just a big win. A big win that could pay some bills for the debt accrued, a big win that could see the family through, a big win that could outt a smile on my face once again, a big win that could help me sustain my friends, relations, Loved ones and those dear to me. I wish I could get that big Friday win right now so I could be at peace and blessings to the less privileged. Can casinos do that Friday bonus in such a way?

I guess that every gambler would like to win big, but there's that little thing... do you play for big wins? Or you are settling with small odds and lower-risk bets? Do you play the lottery every week? I guess we can't hope for a big win if we don't have a ticket!

Now when I think about the headline... we don't need to wait for extra bonuses from casinos, as we play they are coming. More playing is equal to more wagering and in almost every casino more wagering will bring more perks. When I say "more" it's over $10k daily maybe, more or less. Everything under that will bring some benefits, but not in every casino,
1605  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: January 10, 2023, 07:02:50 PM

Actually it's still a question to me whether Video poker is absolutely the same as slots, where you can't affect the outcome in any way. Like, for example, if you were always ignoring a good hand, like a full house or four of a kind, or even better, that were given to you, and were holding nothing, but were exchanging all the cards all the time, would the result after, say, 50 games, be the same as if you were holding the "good" cards? I read that skillful poker players have significantly higher odds of winning, but I'm not sure if that is the case in reality.

There are many different types of slots, to start from the number of reels and lines to the ones that have some special features. I said that video poker is  "something like a poker-themed slot machine"... and basically it is. 5 reels, one line... with the first spin you decide which reels to hold for the next spin, and after that, you either have a hand or not (there are not many, but there are slots where you can hold the reels, but it costs extra). If you have a hand you can gamble for more and play hi & lo. Something that many slots have... feature to gamble with your winnings.

From my experience, you can chase whatever you want but without luck (as in slots) you will not get anything! 50-100 hands without 3 of a kind, to not speak about something higher. Simply if you decide to go for "good hands" you will miss many hands that would actually pay off and give you the chance to gamble for more. A simple example is 4 of the same color with an ace and a king... so you either risk and go for flush, or to try to get at least a pair holding just an ace and king, which has a higher chance to come of course. And you are a poker player, how many times have you had 4 of the same color and you waited for that 5 but it didn't come? Smiley I guess in video poker, our chances are even lower, video poker has RTP.

Simply you don't have many options in video poker, it's just hand after hand and you either hit something good or not. Like spinning slots...

For people who like these games and wish for an extra thrill, I advise trying Caribean poker. Unlike video poker, you have a chance to raise or fold, but it's a lot more expensive than video poker, and actually requires some kind of strategy and poker skills. But it's also a poker against the house, so a lot depends on luck and the next card you will get!
1606  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 10, 2023, 03:12:30 PM
~ And for people with zero tickets it is especially important.

I support this too. A counter displaying the remaining number of bets (sats) to get a golden ticket in the hi-lo game would be a useful feature for many users. So I think if freebitcoin developers wish, they can easily implement such a feature because it shouldn't be a difficult task for them. By the way, if a user has a desire, he can write such a counter (script) himself using the console in a browser, although I'm not sure that would be a good idea because freebitcoin may interpret it as a violation of its rules.

I hope our requests for this counter will not be buried under other comments, and @wetsuit, @TheQuin or @freebitco.in PR will reply on whether it's possible to install it. I think such a counter would increase wagering on the site, because many of those that are mainly there for the faucet would try to wager 500,000 satoshi to have at least one Golden Ticket.

I love counters! On auto-betting there is some kind of "live stats", the biggest bet and win, and profit/loss for that session. But that can look a lot more serious, and why not make the same for manual betting? I think it would be great, and for sure it would attract me to play more.

1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Cassino Continue With Wagering Requirements, If Abuse is Eliminated? on: January 08, 2023, 09:31:15 AM
2: what do you think, if all necessary security checks are up to 100% and Abuse is totally eliminated from casinos, do you think gambling sites will make a no wagering requirement on their bonuses?
Why would they? casinos are living on their player's deposits and playing activity, there are always wagering requirements in everything you do in casinos.

I agree, in casinos, it's all about wagering... and without wagering requirements, it would be like casinos are giving away money! But casinos are not charity organizations, and even if abuse is completely eliminated there will be wagering requirements for all casino features.

When it comes to money, I never saw any casino that gives some "free cash" without wagering requirements before withdrawal... imagine that abuse if you can register, get some free cash and withdraw that cash immediately! I guess even with mandatory KYC people will try to take as much as they can...
But some casinos give "free spins" without wagering requirements, but the tricky part is that with 20-30 spins you need to be extremely lucky to hit something nice. Usually, it's a few dollars so you need to play more before you reach the minimum withdrawal amount.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 06, 2023, 12:35:53 PM
Free alcoholic drinks, ease of withdrawal machines and ease of which to fund betting/gambling site wallets are serious contributory factors to addictive gambling.

What other factors do you know contribute to form addictive gambling?

IMO, all these factors are secondary factors. The main factor to form gambling addiction is to follow your desires, as long as you are in gambling you will be addicted sooner or later, because the human physiology or more specifically the greed forces you to gamble in every time you make a win, and oppositely to recover your losses in every time you make a loss, so it's a choice to be in or out gambling. It's normal for any casino to try to attract more users using many tricks like bonuses and giveaways as this is their business and they have licences to do that, but the first and last responsible of any loss should be the user themselves.

Every business wishes for more customers. And the biggest ones are heavily advertised almost everywhere... gambling, tobacco & alcohol, fashion, or any other industry. I agree that their "deep mind hitting" advertisement is just a secondary factor, what is important are our desires and what we like to do and follow. I guess we are all addicts to a certain level, by the definition "Addiction is the repeated involvement with a substance or activity" can include many things, but when addiction starts to affect someone's behavior is a serious addiction that should be treated, or it will make a lot of damage.

I believe that all is in our minds, there are vices everywhere around... and many of them will bring a lot of pleasures and entertainment, but there needs to be some control or we can easily be dragged into the fire, and fire can burn us a lot! I guess we all start with weak minds and hands but testing limitations and learning from mistakes are what make us stronger over time. Gaining control is not something that comes just like that, experience is a product of years of doing something and a making lot of mistakes.
1611  Economy / Gambling / Re: Neodice.com | Futuristic Dice Platform 🎲 on: January 06, 2023, 10:00:32 AM
$9 is not too much but yeah it can be abused. I'm thinking that surely this kind of promotion can make a good amount traffic in their casino but I'm guessing that it's only temporary until the promotion is gone. There's also a chance that the traffic they can get is from those multi account users which is basically not helpful from the casino given that they are only looting for bonus.  I'm speculating that they will lose some of their users if they reduce or limit the bonus or remove it permanently.  Well they are still trying and experimenting with the promo but I'm guessing that it will turn out that way as I've seen many casino turns out like that.

$9 is not much, but some people (read a lot of people) are ready to make +10 accounts (in some cases even more). So they claim a bonus and if they finish the requirements they will make a withdrawal and move to the next account. It's the same with faucets, I believe that many people abuse that as well by creating many accounts.

Hello. for all users! I think that iv4n account was first blocked, then reopened because the support of neodice.com decided to pay only to clients that are beneficial to them, and so that there is no criticism on the forum...

I am not beneficial to them, I just have good arguments, and some screenshots. I am a fair player, and I didn't do anything wrong... I couldn't abuse the bonus because I didn't claim any. I just played with the faucet coins... I guess that's what we should do with those coins!

In the end, in some cases, it's easy to spot abusers if you go through their accounts and check their email and IP addresses. And there are other tricks for sure, but the bottom line is that my account is clean. I am active since October (as you can see), claiming a faucet when I remember and placing a few bets while I am there... those things can be easily verified.
1612  Economy / Gambling / Re: Neodice.com | Futuristic Dice Platform 🎲🌌 on: January 05, 2023, 08:14:50 PM
Hey All. First, on behalf of Neodice, I would like to apologize to iv4n for the inconvenience caused. I contacted the Neodice team and his account was unblocked (I also asked for a bonus for him). I had a heart to heart talk with Neodice and they told me iv4n's ban was a misunderstanding (it was an automatic ban because the system found a direct link between 42 accounts). At the end of the week, I will also try to help with the rest of the cases, but even now, from the data that was shown to me, I see clear cases of abuse. I am delighted with Neodice, because I clearly see how much effort these guys put in. Yes, some things they do not do as well as they would like, because they lack experience, but I think that this will change. I also told the Neodice team to contact me with any questions (or efialtis) as I listed his name as a competent person in gambling related matters.

My account is unlocked, and I got a little bonus. This turns into a funny story. Smiley

Something like this doesn't happen every day, to wager hundreds just with faucet coins. But I really played almost every day and I was close to busting in some moments, but what can I say, I had some crazy luck! I always add more money when I wish to try some new casino, but this time everything worked for me.

_______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________

Thanks for the apology, but it's not necessary. I hope I didn't sound so harsh in my comments, I am aware that I criticized a little, but only so that the casino could improve its service. I think that the support could have been much better and more concrete, avoiding answers is never a good solution. You see the effort from the team, and I guess I (we) would see the same only if I got a simple message "sorry we have some problems, we are working on it, and we will check your account!". That sector needs to be a lot better. The gambling experience was great (winning contributed to that for sure), but sooner or later all people get in all sorts of trouble and support needs to be there to calm the situation and give some proper explanations.

Thanks to Ico and NeoDice for solving my issue, I honestly didn't expect a quick response. I believe this is a positive sign that NeoDice is ready to handle good in some problematic situations.

By the way, I will probably continue to gamble with my balance before I try next withdraw... at least a few more mBTC's! Smiley Good Luck all!

To play poker in general terms with crypto there are many options. For me, stake.com is the best platform to do it, there are many sites that are on the forum that are good, they have a high reputation, but if you ask me for my opinion, I would definitely say that stake.com is the best for me, but there are many other options, what many are looking for is the platform that can offer them an option for PVP poker games, they feel that there are more chances to win, betnomi is one of the sites that I recommend for this, they do some tournaments, and I think Rollbit, I don't remember exactly, but they were organizing something.

Have you ever played poker at Stake or Rollbit? Video poker is not "poker", it's something like a poker-themed slot machine...

Actually, there are not many options for crypto poker... Most crypto poker places have very low traffic. And yes, Betnomi is "doing some poker tournaments" Smiley, Rollbit organizes many things, but not poker games.

It's nice that you add new in-house games from time to time, I'm sure there will be more interesting ones in the future. Coin flip looks nice, the first time I see a "multiply" feature in this game... like the "hi/lo" game, just without cards. It's interesting... I like to play in-house games, so I think that some "live stats" could be a great addition!

Let`s see, crossing my fingers for the problems to be taken care of asap.

Well, I don't believe that problems will be taken care of. In +7 years of gambling in crypto casinos, not a single one has locked my account, until now.

From my point of view, they just make mistake after mistake...

First of all, I didn't get any bonuses... I signed up when I started wearing their signature, and I gambled with those coins from the faucet! What can I say, I was pretty lucky and I had some nice wins over time, but they declined my first withdrawal and come up with some "wagering requirements"...  Well, I continued to play and I completed those requirements with profit!

My screenshots are from the past few days, and I have a few more... I thought I will need them if something like this happen! I guess reading all the complaints about some casinos here on the forum did the work, we need to be careful and we should document some "important stuff" just in case. Because when they lock our accounts (which happened too many times) we can't access our stats and other info that can be very useful in proving our case.

In the end, most of the things about wagering I had to figure on my own, their support is a "disaster", kindly spoken! And I even send PM to their representative here on the forum a few days ago (on his request), but still, there are no answers or explanations.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 02, 2023, 11:38:01 AM
I play the lottery, but in the last 5-6 years rarely. I think I found some fun in crypto lotteries so somehow I stopped with the national lottery. Now with family and many important "dates" throughout the year maybe I should start playing it from week to week with the same numbers, I find it interesting... I guess we have all heard of people who are doing that. Before, and now in crypto, I randomly choose numbers, of course, the ones I like, but I never had some long-playing streaks with exactly the same numbers.

So, basically, it's about whether it's interesting for you or not... it's not stupid or smart, and it's not a waste of time. It's just about doing what you like and what is interesting for you. And I guess it's especially interesting for us who like to watch how they pull out numbers.

I am sure that some of those who think they understand these concepts but in reality do not will comment on this thread Grin.
...

We see that all the time... in many gambling-related threads. How many people who actively comment in the gambling section actually gamble? Even more interesting are people that make comments in poker threads, I guess most of them never played poker, or they played just freerolls.

Many people just talk, but when the time comes to stand behind what it's said many will just move away and pretend like it never happened. Welcome to the real world.
1620  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your takes on revenge gambling? on: January 01, 2023, 05:11:41 PM
Just as the topic implies, What really are your thoughts on revenge gambling?
...
*Over expectations.
...

You call it "revenge gambling", I would say it's a tilt... I guess it's all the same, we just have different names for the same state of mind: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5432187.msg61517656#msg61517656.

As FamososMuertos said, in the moments when we stop thinking rationally we make some crazy moves. I think all that comes from "Over expectations", like "now it's my turn to win", after suffering some major losses. Surprise or not, in most cases "tilting" will lead us to a total bust. I believe every "serious" gambler knows how that feels!

Eye for an eye will make the whole world blind! Revenge is the opposite of rational thinking, so it's not good. In most cases "revenging" will cause some other or more problems.
