1601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: March 07, 2020, 10:56:03 AM
An experienced trader, will not bother about the weather it is bull or bear, based on their investment and experience they will choose the right coins to make profits. Even though the market is dominated by a bear trend, it will help them to make a decent profit. That's how an experienced trader will make a profit whether it is a bull or bear.

They do bother.

It is not that they are the Aizen of trading, they are not earning every trend that is happening. They are also losing but they are experienced so they either earn a small profit or maybe reduced the loss that they have. Obviously, they can't just always earn a profit in every investment that they have, they will always lose but they have ways to reduce those since they are experienced.
1602  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 07, 2020, 10:02:32 AM
Both trading and investing are the same way and destination to get much profit but have different system how to get much money with bitcoin and altcoin, with trading we can earn much money every day and investing could earn but need waiting for long term.

Both will be considered as an investment, but the thing will be based on our assumptions. Each person will have a different view about the trading and investment because some people will always for the long term investment, so people who wait for the long term will always get the benefit through their investment.

These two is interconnected with each other.

When we invest, we also do trading. For example, we want to buy a cryptocurrency, let's say Bitcoin. What we will be doing is to buy it through exchanges or maybe convert our fiats to it, we are exactly doing trading and the fact that we are doing it is because we are investing in it. If we will be talking about the long term, that means they are investing and will be trading in the end.
1603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a safe haven for corona virus economic impact? on: March 07, 2020, 09:09:16 AM
At the moment BTC is holding its ground and I believe if things get really bad with corona virus BTC has a real chance for mass adoption. If corona virus gets really bad there will be leave without pay, global recession etc!

I don't think it would be that way.

China is known for its mobile transactions and it is one of those countries that is widely using mobile payment method. The market of China is so big and a lot of payment system is accepted. Corona Virus is mutating, which means it is really getting worst. The problem still surrounds how will the citizens of China maintain their living there with minimal stocks of food and other essentials there.
1604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's End Game on: March 07, 2020, 07:01:43 AM
I agree that we do not know what may happen but if the government is wanting to drop Bitcoin down, I guess they've done that earlier and never letting Bitcoin exist longer than 4 to 6 years.

I guess we will be really seeing Bitcoin side by side with each country's digital currencies. Though I don't see Bitcoin being a payment method but a asset with a huge price in the future. With digital currency as a mainstream currency, Bitcoin will be used and transactions will explode and that might be the reason why government would want to take down Bitcoin. We have technologies that can or might take down the system, saying this, still, we don't know what can happen.
1605  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 07, 2020, 06:17:00 AM
Cryptocurrency have been most popular payment and digital currency right now, not only with easy by using cryptocurrency as payment way but could increase higher price and give much profit for every one claim bitcoin is the best payment method.

I hope it is really the popular payment, but it is not.

This is the reason why Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will never replace fiat, its acceptance as a payment. Despite the popularity of Bitcoin, it is not that accepted as a payment for various reasons, one of them is the volatility and its anonymity. Example of it is when Steam accepted Bitcoin.
1606  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 07, 2020, 03:25:34 AM
Despite the fact that this might be an overstatement, somehow it is true.

I agree that we din't need to waste our time since it is always the one who's earliest, take the best. Though we don't need anyone to force themselves into it, atleast take some time to study it. Slowly, it might interest you and will make you start investing in an earlier stage. Profit can wait, it is true but you might regret those times that you did not invest earlier.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 07, 2020, 02:26:52 AM
To be honest, no.

Reputation might be important but I think it would not stop me. I might stop for a while but after some time it will go back. It is not something you could just stop, it is something that became part of you for a long time. I can control those gambling urges but I can't stop gambling, there is a difference in those two.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 06, 2020, 01:45:11 PM
Curry is back, in his first game he scored 23 points but on a very bad shooting night. 3/12 in 2 point shooting, and he is currently on a max of 28 minutes restriction per game, today he played his max restriction but they still loses,.. hopefully his good shooting touches will be back soon.
Kudos to his performance but I don't think this will ever change the standing of their team. I guess that's all they have to make for their next games.

And that is to perform very well and just enjoy the entire series with their remaining games.
There is no pressure on them as they will not make it t the playoffs, curry in his first game is maybe trying to figure out his good shooting stroke but that's alright, we all understand that and we are expecting being a real start he can level up his game again.

Why are you saying he's still figuring out? He's game is still there.

He has those quick releases in that game and that is really amazing since that is how we really admired Steph Curry. I think the only thing I can observe is that he is not moving that much unlike in his past games where he really moves around to shake his defender and make shoot the ball. Does this have to do with the fact that they will not be in the playoffs? I don't think this is because of his injury.
1609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: March 06, 2020, 12:53:46 PM
FOMO
This was the common mistake of traders in crypto market and  that was inevitable unless you can able to control your emotions in which I think seems impossible because no matter what we try we will not manage it fully well. If we have seen the markets growth especially Bitcoin admit that we the urge to sell always come knocking on our emotion that is why I think FOMO is just normal mistake but shouldn't be tolerated.
i think this is not consider a mistake  because  i think every fomo is correct  . like for example people do fomo when btc price pump   , and who wouldnt want to sell thier bitcoins for profit ?  this is our primary plan here anyways   . its useless and will not make sense if you will only hodl and hodl and you will miss the bull run . whats worst can happen to you is that you will only sell on bad times or when the market in down because you accidentally need the money or you are afraid because you think the market will go down more  .

It is a good thing if you will be the only one falling for it, but it will not be just you.

The reason it is called FOMO is that because you are having these feelings that you want to also earn like the others, you feel you are missing out. Then people would just immediately buy and the timing would not always be better and just go down losing your profit badly.
1610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Charts Are Garbage on: March 06, 2020, 08:54:03 AM
Bitcoin is based on Candlestick if I am not mistaken, Im actually using that.

Not actually based.

Candlestick is a strategy being used by the investors to see the indicators, will it start a bull?; will it start a bear market, that will be the basis but that doesn't mean that it is based solely on candlestick. You can still lose since with the volatility of the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, you never know what might happen.
1611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: March 06, 2020, 06:35:04 AM
No, bitcoin is not a failed experiment. We are just getting started and it's early in all this. You can do what you want but I wouldn't sell.

This is too late.

I could say that in the past, but right right now, nah. I also heard in the past that there are those developers looking at other altcoin's technologies that they might apply at Bitcoin. Right now, with a lot of supporters in the community, I don't think should also say that it is still starting. We are in the mid game now, legalization, more developments and other stuffs are more focused.
1612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 06, 2020, 04:49:48 AM
Bitcoin is already negative to a lot of people.

From its decentralization to its anonymity, people are already doubting it even before people even think of using it as a payment to criminals and porn sites. It will not bring negative effects but for me, it will bring more popularity since, as other people said, people are also subscribing at these sites and they want exclusive videos and maybe by using Bitcoin, they won't need to use their credit cards and they would prefer to use it.
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: Money value inflation Feeling that money is not worthed?? on: March 06, 2020, 03:00:14 AM
I could really feel that.

My mother usually told us this story where rice they are buying was just cents and now it is a lot more. Foods, other things at that time is so cheap that in my job right now, I could be already rich. That is said because of the leaders that are being elected and the one who made all that up is being destroyed by the preceding leaders.
1614  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: March 06, 2020, 01:28:05 AM
Some people would want bitcoin to be use as a currency in order to lessen the hustle as well as the transaction fee being used from btc-fiat-item. Some stores accept it as a currency, although it is volatile and there is a big risk to used it as a currency because of its volatility, it is still a good news for some people to know that it can still be used as a currency.

Maybe but for me, I don't want to use it that frequently.

Despite that, there are a lot of people wanting to use Bitcoin as a currency, in the meantime also a lot of people want to earn a profit out of this cryptocurrency. Since the acceptance of it is not that high compared to online payment methods, they will just be forced to hold it and instead make it an asset instead of a currency.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: March 06, 2020, 01:03:57 AM
I do save some of them but that is just when I am using my money, I don't use my cryptos most of the time just to save them.

I am also doing that for the sake of the losses so I could stay track of it though I am not doing that for 2 months now since I've been busy with thr OTs in my job. Another thing is that if the government do not know my wins and I just say that I lost a lot, I would not have a problem. That is something taught by us by our taxation teacher.
So your taxation teacher is teaching you corruption. As a nation and great citizen, you shall not hide your assets or gambling profits. Well just to evaluate yourself and your strategies of gambling, it is always recommended to keep track of your losses and rewards. There is no other way than this to assess yourself.

Corruption? Are you kidding me?

So you want cryptocurrencies to be taxed? Are you kidding me? That is the usual reason why a lot of people are using cryptocurrencies because it is not being taxed. Anonymity is the reason I am using it, and you want me to not hide my assets and gambling profits? If I am corrupting then I think you are, we all are since you are not paying for those Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies you've earned here.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 05, 2020, 12:50:37 PM
It simply is related to self-control. Those who have control over their greed and they know what amount of money actually they can spend on gambling are the ones who enjoy playing this game. Those who have sole objective of gambling to make money are the ones who often get addicted and frustrated.

To be honest, not all of them are being addicted to gambling.

I do also want to earn money from gambling, and again, to be honest, that is one of the purposes why I am gambling; all of us are dreaming of winning something from gambling. It really depends on the gambler himself since if he really is a responsible human being, he will never let himself be addicted to gambling, he knows when to stop and he knows that no matter what happens, gambling will never be a source of income and you are just having fun.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 01:03:19 AM
I've also seen this age limit in our country and I think it needs to be higher.

I know that 18 is the legal age and 21 is the best age to move it but still, I think the better age is 24 or 25. At that age, people tend to think and process things more maturely. Still, I know that 24 and lower ages will still find a way to gamble the same with the current age at 21 where I know 20 and lower years old gamblers are still finding a way to gamble.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what games have the best odds. on: March 01, 2020, 12:33:25 PM
So for you to prevent being lost in the casino, you should observe the games that have the best odds, of course, there is a research about those chances to win in different games in the casino, some of the casino games are hard to win, and some are easy to win. One of the gambling game that has a 50% odds of winning is the blackjack, it is easy to play, for you to win, your card should be close to 21 without exceeding it, and it has an element of skill for you to win, which is better than relying or hopping on your luck. As well as the roulette game having a 50% odds of winning too because only black and red is the result for you to win the game.

Most of the games that has the best odds are those that would say, 50/50.

There are some sports bettings that has high odds depending on the sports and team they are betting with. For example when a good team in that season faces a team that is doing worse on that season. The odds there would not be 50/50 but would go in the favor of the good team but still, there is a chance that the worse team can win. I think this depends on the situation so you really need to be really observant and knowledgeable.
1619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So are we in bullish times or Not?? on: March 01, 2020, 12:04:50 PM
A bull run will come, We only need patience on ourselves.

Yes, we need to have optimism for the coming of the bull run. It will happen soon, and we don't have to worry, and all we can do is trying to survive until the bull run comes. We do not need to worry if the price still down because there is a time to see the price will start increasing, and that can be our time to make a profit again. We need to prepare for the bull run by buying more coins or checking our coins so we can get the complete data of our coins. Maybe the bull run will happen after bitcoin halving.

It is good to be optimistic but we should also be careful.

This week, we saw the price going back to 5-digits and just within a week, the price quickly fell back at $8K. If we will just rely on the current price we are seeing, we might lose since with a blink of an eye that could disappear. The bull run may happen or not, what we can do is just rely on the indications that the price chart is showing us.
1620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 01, 2020, 11:42:08 AM
Both investors and traders earn money through the help of the market.

It is true that it generated a lot of profit from the investors and the traders but I don't agree with this line.

The market has nothing to help these investors and traders. They are the reason they generated this money or profit they have. With the knowledge they had, they received that well-deserved profit. As you said, there are a lot of ways to earn money and the market is not the one making these opportunities but the investors and traders themselves.
