1601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: June 12, 2017, 05:56:52 AM
Yes. Bitcoin is a money.
We all know that bitcoin is convertible to a fiat so there's no need to argu whether bitcoin is money or not. Bitcoin is valuable than any other currency making it more significant than money. We can have atleast convert bitcoin into fiat so that we could buy everything we wanted to have.

It seems that this thread will not make any profit because all the answers about bitcoin are money is "yes" and everyone knows well, until now I treat bitcoin as a currency and financial asset, because bitcoin is able to remove HYIP dominance. A very rampant investment every year, just by storing bitcoin alone can generate more profits when compared to HYIP that always culminates with a scam.
1602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 08, 2017, 05:02:30 PM
I believe that blockchain technology is the new trend, so I do not think that Bitcoin will be gone in a short period of time.  I believe that if we invest a good amount today in bitcoin, we can be well rewarded after 5 to 10 years thus enough to get you well financed after your retirement.

I do not consider bitcoin as the main currency for maintaining real-world economic balance, but I have a belief in passive income if I apply bitcoin as a virtual asset in  long term and automatically have a lot of hope for bitcoin. To support my life after retiring from a real job, at least I can continue to play it in trading market, if I consider it an asset I already understand the risks that will occur in the future.
1603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs altcoins, will they survive? on: June 08, 2017, 04:53:40 PM
For alt coin it is hard to predict some of them will survive but some of them will vanished, some of the alt coin especially top 10 got a big transaction volume, so it still can survive for a long time, but I dont like to invest in alt coin for a long term, playing it short is better because the price is unstable so I better play it safe

Why do not you concentrate entirely on investment on the big altcoins list you wrote? They have the same potential as bitcoin, and the possibility of disappearing in the short term is very small. I assume altcoin is not bitcoin opponent in the aspect of volume, both are on different levels. But since I saw some altcoin like xrp already paired with jpy and cny, the potential of being a bitcoin strong competitor in the future is very wide open.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any coins being pumped at the moment? on: June 08, 2017, 04:26:01 PM
I'm interested in digibyte and got positive analysis to soar this weekend, the news about using DGB for many online games including minecraft games make this coin has great potential, maybe even tomorrow the price has started to rise due to massive pumping. The current poniex price is 0.00001927 dgb/btc+6.05%
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: June 08, 2017, 04:01:46 PM
In 5 years the price will likely be lower than many people anticipate. The biggest problem is that investors have trouble differentiating between the Ethereum platform and ETH the token released to raise money for development of the platform. Largely, this lack of understanding has been promoted by proponents who publish or link to articles that have nothing to do with the public chain and are related to the platform only, as if they represent value to the public chain.

ETH investors have been sold on the idea that a decentralized public chain that runs far slower than a cell phone or the 8080 processor is a super computer. The fact is it's extremely limited in its capacity to run multiple smart contracts for thousands of DAPPS as people without computer skills have been convinced. This is already becoming evident; but, will be obvious within five years.

ETH has served it's purpose in providing funds to the Ethereum Foundation for the development of the platform. They have raised millions selling approximately 30 percent of the foundation funds just in the last four months as can be seen here:

https://etherchain.org/account/0xde0b295669a9fd93d5f28d9ec85e40f4cb697bae#txsent

Ethereum the platform might be used to develop private chains connecting international business. These private chains do not add to the value of ETH the token and are only useful to the organizations with access. The platform is just one of the many similar platforms developed by companies such as IBM, R3 or others. It remains to be seen which platforms will become dominant players in the future.

If it continues to be based on platform updates, maybe bitcoin will not develop as it is now, we need to understand that the growing ethereum platform also sees from market volume movements and some other fundamental aspects. I think the price effect of ethereum will be adjusted to bitcoin price and will always be 1 level below it. So, potential trend for the next five years depends on majority of issues in trading market. Ethereum development will not stop and it's unlikely they will not improve further innovation.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: June 04, 2017, 11:15:23 PM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
Yes, I do it once and I am so lucky that I actually win the game. It is funny that I just use others people money just to win because when I am using my own money I am losing and I don't know why so luckily that I won.  Grin

Well that is pretty much lucky of you that you do not lost that amount that is not yours.  If giving a chance, would you do it again?  I hope you do not try to do it again because if you lose, you do not know what consequence lies ahead.  It might get you into trouble and lost trust of your friends or families.  If you gamble make sure it is your own money and it is free.

Not just that, game only what you are afford to loose. Remember that there is no guarantee for luck. It may have given you a fortune previously but it's not the same every time. Don't ever gamble with others money, it'll not just ruin your impression but make you a lesser person.

Why hesitate if it's a convenience in the gambling pattern? Gamblers have many types and expertise, including in finding a certain level of comfort including using other people's money.

I suggest to create a consortium in this case so that all things done have a commitment and no one is harmed. Many people do not hesitate to invest in people he considers capable even to gamble, and he does not question the outcome and believes that profit calculations outweigh the losses per month. It's all about trust and professionalism.
1607  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think that you're addicted to gambling? on: June 04, 2017, 11:07:02 PM
I'm not an addicted gambler, I'm just a normal player and I have enough control on my mind and emotion, so I can identify that I'm not that typical gambler that will do everything to recover his losses. I was once an addicted gambler but I used to realized that it's not really a good thing to me, because it changed me into a hard headed guy.

If you've ever been addicted to gambling and now it's not, then you've found a powerful way to stop gambling. It's good if you tell your gambling experience and share your way with them. That alone is enough for you, the rest are the decisive addicts.

No, I haven't found a powerful way to stop gambling. I just did the usual way of quitting by converting my time in gambling into some other ways which is very easy. I found love in other activities like basketball, computer games, studying and so on. You just need to know your priorities so that you will just put gambling on the last of your list.

What you write has made a good lesson for gamblers who still can't manage the level of addiction, to be honest it is difficult to leave gambling let alone for players who benefit for living expenses only from gambling, I once decided to stop completely and try other activities, But after a long time I finally cultivated enlightenment if the best way is not to leave it, but control it with more healthy and without excessive emotion.
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 04, 2017, 10:59:40 PM
Daily traders rarely check the mempool condition, they only do transactions in the market and see nothing but trading graphics profits and losses, are very good conditions to monitor but we cannot control it because it has the nature of mass transactions. I dealt with it casually, I mean dividing the transaction into 2 priorities: regular cost with small amounts, and special costs with huge amount (2x)
1609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: June 04, 2017, 10:47:14 PM
Social media, especially twitter and facebook are taken into account in all campaigns in this forum, social media have an important influence in marketing promotion strategy, if we read newspaper or online site then we will only be limited to rules and ownership of the site, while media account We can fully express ourselves including doing bitcoin marketing activities.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 04, 2017, 10:40:42 PM
If we know about bitcoin, it's a good source of income for now because of anonymous identity that other people could not see in physical form. We can have an assurance of security on our funds to be hidden from criminals who can steal our money like a cash form of income that might be rob while you walk at public. So this is a big opportunity to those hardworking individuals that very interested to have part time income source through bitcoin.

In the digital world, criminals have their own version (cyber) or even more cruel than riil robbers, but at least we can be helped by anonymous options owned and bitcoin provide opportunities for income sources without discriminating class and education.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: June 02, 2017, 02:42:54 AM
I want to know what you guys think about this, I have stopped gambling but still trade so does this mean I am still gambling?? I don't trade on basis of luck I trade using my skills would it still be considered gambling??

Please tell me what do you think.
No as for me trading is not a gamble they have a bid differences like gamble you can only depend on your luck if you have no luck on gambling i a sure you that what ever you do you can't win. But on trading that base how you manage your skills and timing.

Legally, trading luck is not the same as luck in gambling (except techniques like swap etc), because trading uses volume volumes that are not moved by just one or two people, but thousands of people with tremendous transaction value every day. So this is a very different thing if you focus on the logic of profit and loss.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Secrets of sports betting on: June 02, 2017, 02:37:13 AM
Sports betting today is very easy to guess if what we put is a team of big teams in English, Italian and Spanish league. They are obviously winning, just how do we analyze the odds offered. In this case the bet in live games is very interesting, because our winning potential is double bet.

But in sports betting like footballcoin/fantacalcio manajer, we can only bet before the game starts and wait for the final result only. It's much simpler than sports betting scorers, the secret is actually not there, there's just an analysis that we trial and error every day.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: June 02, 2017, 02:29:26 AM
Sometimes when i want to enjoy a band while playing poker i go to Resort's World Manila, they have free beers btw. But atm Resorts World is being invaded by terrorist. Yeah its true i just woke up and saw it in my newsfeeds in facebook. So now i will not go to any land base casino for a while until we are safe from terrorist. I'll just play poker in nitrogen.

If you are domiciled in Philippines, it's not good situation because this terrorist clearly disagree with gambling. So undo the intention to go to a real casino. But I suggest you to go to the casino land in Malaysia or Singapore because I think not too far away. It's better if we spend minimal time on offline gambling, because everything online will sometimes only load our emotions higher because there is no social element face to face.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: June 02, 2017, 02:23:34 AM
Experience does matter in gambling because they can control them self while betting I've seen many people who win some amount at start that's luck or skill but they keep doing it and loose all in the end while experienced player stop betting after winning some amount.
That’s a wise answer, most people have no clue why they gamble or how to make money through gambling so they begin to lose a whole lot of money when they decide to exit.
One of the important thing that an experienced gambler knows is when to stop playing. An inexperienced gambler wouldn’t really know when to stop quitting because he or she will be wondering why their strategy didn’t work so they try to test other strategies that can make up for it. The result is usually negative lol

Experienced gamblers alike will still be stuck if it's caught in a crushing defeat, they also do not know when to stop if it is involved with the situation of endless victory. I just assume they only understand when to hold back and not do bet for each round and nothing more, it's not about luck, but more towards psychic analysis.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 02, 2017, 02:18:46 AM
Will be effective if we dare to throw all the balance of bets with intention of defeat, if lucky then continue it until it runs out, but if it is exhausted please for you to stop forever. This assumption applies because we think about the money we earn will be exhausted if all thrown at the gambling table, the mind will be neutral even with a little regret.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 29, 2017, 10:11:39 AM
Experience is indispensable in gambling, the experience in question is the ability to rise and perfect themselves from all the defeats and stupidities that have occurred in the past. I believe no one is born perfect, even the god of gambling despite having experienced a landslide and successive defeat. Their difference with ordinary gamblers is that bad experiences are not an excuse to argue and tell, but continue to evaluate and keep moving in the next round of gambling.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we still gambling while we always lose? on: May 29, 2017, 10:05:38 AM
Because our adrenaline is already tied to the gambling system. This is called the dependency nerve, the more comfortable we are in the game then defeat will not be a barrier. If people have entered in these conditions then there is no reason to explain unless analogous to the best solution is divorce in your household (parable)
1618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: May 29, 2017, 09:52:23 AM
I use web wallet. It is available all times and everywhere.
That is the pros of a web wallet because of ease to access your account from them but if you will talk about cons or the disadvantage of that then it is very risky wallet to store a low of bitcoins because a lot of people now are storing bitcoins online and its attracting the hackers or criminals online to have a interest for bypassing any kind of online sites and that is a threat for your money.

If only for fast transactions, web or exchanges wallet is the best, but if for a large amount of security should use a cold wallet and complete with a private key that's backed up more than once, would be more perfect if all the wallet is given double security like 2fa.
1619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 29, 2017, 09:41:39 AM
If You were Satoshi Nakamoto, Are you going to reveal who you really are? If not, who are you really? Grin

Even satoshi nakamoto will think a lot of that before he reveal himself because it is like taking the risk for being hunted by the criminals for the sake of money. If i were satoshi then it will not reveal my self but i will just make at least a voice message for other people in the world to proof that bitcoin is not scam like the way they think about it.

I don't think so, many of the world's great inventors who clearly reveal themselves, Bill Gates introduced himself as the inventor of microsoft windows. And nothing happens to him after becoming the richest man in the world. Only one reason that satoshi is invisible/pseudonymous, is because of its intention to make the world change through decentralization of the currency. This will have no widespread impact if satoshi appears to the public space.
1620  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: May 29, 2017, 04:25:37 AM
I invested bitcoin simply and with a concept that's not much different from fiat, I invested bitcoin to some colleagues who have agreed to help each other to add funds in the business of each company. This indirectly goes on for long term and also uses an official letter with a valid stamped signature. Only for the limited circle and the capital of mutual trust is good for interwoven relationship all the time.
