Do you know where can I download a cpu miner without any hidden viruses?
16062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MEOW] KittehCoin - UPDATED 2017 on: January 02, 2018, 11:39:29 AM
We have our LYNX pool already up and running, MEOW pool will be shutting down.

http://lynx.coincave.nl

Some of the links at the coincave URL are dead and some dating back to 2011 threads:

2. Download a miner.
16063  Economy / Exchanges / Pros/Cons of creating a new exchange using a github Cryptsy clone on: January 01, 2018, 03:34:38 PM
Yes there are lots of exchanges out there and yes there are lots of exchange template scripts out there but still if I wanted to open an exchange what would be the pros and cons?

Is anyone familiar with this github script? Can anyone point out the security flaws and holes?
16064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MEOW] KittehCoin - UPDATED 2017 on: January 01, 2018, 01:18:03 PM
Am running the Lynx windows wallet with '-server' then using 'cgminer-3-7-2-gridseed-windows-alt';

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=800,chips=40 --hotplug 5 -o 127.0.0.1:9332 -u wobble -p wobbles

I just get 'Pool 0 slow/down or URL credentials invalid' from cgminer.

I've successfully used this method to solo mine other scrypt coins, but no luck with lynx Sad

You have to continue mining kitteh because lynx mining has not been set up yet. Mine as many MEOW as you can then simply swap them for LYNX. You achieve the same result which is 1:1 swap

Novaexchange not close

Cryptopia has purchased Nova Exchange, they will shut it down.

Anyone having any luck solo mining with the Windows wallet? I've not been able to connect to the wallet with cgminer (have added RPC settings to lynx.conf).

List step by step the process you carried out. Maybe someone can help.

Its very simple bro if you want to withdraw more then 5000 $ in any currency then you must verify your account otherwise you cannot withdraw once and verification take 72 hours to 14 days

Thank you
16070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cryptopia Reputable and One of the Best? on: December 31, 2017, 05:07:27 PM
Better remove this thread to Service Discussion Exchanges section and for Cryptopia I am using this for small trades without KYC and have no issue until now you can also use this but I trades less then 0.1 bitcoins just because of this they never ask for any type verification good luck for you

Ah so are you saying for larger trades they will ask for ID verification?
I just check if you want to withdraw more then 5000 $ then you must need verification without this you cannot withdraw from this site all exchanges have their own system for withdrawal limits you have to follow them

Does that mean if I transfer out more than $5000 or more worth of any coin even to my wallet I have to give them my ID to verify me?

Or is that policy just for cashing coins and having the money sent to my bank?
16071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cryptopia Reputable and One of the Best? on: December 31, 2017, 04:29:13 PM
They have KYC policy, but not asked me .May be my transactions were very low
They have some coins listed which you can not find on any other exchanges

What about Poloniex?
16072  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Exchange For XRP on: December 31, 2017, 03:01:58 PM
I think Binance would be a good option considering that you do not require the id verification. their fees is only less and its 0.1% for buy and same for the sell of the trade. Also if you use their coin called BNB you get 50% discount on trading. So you can easily register and start trading right away.

Many thanks for the reply and putting me in the direction. I will look in to it and post back here Smiley

Which ones crypto exchanges would you recommend for trading in Ripple that are the safest and secure, that do not require ID verification.

Save them on your desktop until an exchange adds them again
16077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Is Cryptopia Reputable and One of the Best? on: December 31, 2017, 03:10:07 AM
Does Cryptopia have a KYC policy?

I would like to register on a crypto exchange and transfer some coins on it. Then I would like to make some trades.

At no point would I want to use the crypto exchange to convert coin for FIAT but I would like to keep them with a safe. Then at some point I will transfer the coins to my desktop.

I am looking for a crypto exchange that will not ask for my ID to transfer coins in or out.

I would appreciate advice please. I see on their website they purchased Nova Exchange so hopefully they will not do a Cryptsy.

IMHO, a lot of work without purpose and result
(sorry)

It is not a lot of work. Anyway, I am willing to help pay for it providing others donate too.

For those wanting to stay on the Cagecoin blockchain with over 100 billion coins already in circulation can stay on it, there is nobosy forcing them to do anything.

Look at what happened with ColossuscoinXT, it is rocketing since its swap around a week ago. Kittehcoin/Lynx will happen in a couple of days, that should be a good one too. For those wanting to discuss a possible CAGEv2 with a fork and a discuss ways of a progressive way forward to raise interest in the coin, I am happy to discuss. Am looking for like minded people.

JollyGood

I might be a newbie here on this forum but im not an imposter.
I cant send more then 2 private messages a day so maybe i will make an new email if i am allowed to post that here so we can have some private conversations not to be discussed here.
If you wanna set up an dev team and/or a new coin please let me know.

I never suggested you or anyone else are imposters.

About a dev team, I am happy to be part of it if someone can steps up. I will not be able to help with the blockchain and fork as I have never attempted anything like it before. I can help with marketing and the forum thread as well as contribute financially.

If others step up and get involved then it can work, just look other coins where devs have stepped in and are doing the same thing (colossuscoin and kitteh)

My only  non-negotiable condition for getting involved is that there must be a coin swap to reduce the 100+ billion already mined. I will negotiate on all other matters the dev team put forward.

16080  Economy / Economics / Re: Market capital, will XRP ripple be a permanent #2 to Bitcoin? on: December 30, 2017, 01:20:35 AM
I like the way it is playing out. The market information from almost all exchanges showing massive interest in XRP means it is a wider issue rather than pump and dump related to one or two exchanges.

IMO this is no pump and dump, this is more about investors choosing to buy a very cheap commodity that is was sitting comfortably in the top 5 market capital wise. Many of these purchasers must be long term savers hoping to sell for a profit a few years down the line.

Ripple now has around 42.5% the market value of Bitcoin and rising  Smiley
