16141  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: DOUBLE YOUR BITCOINS on: January 25, 2016, 09:06:51 PM
OP even if you're being sarcastic, you're not being funny.  Even if you were a Legendary member here, you would fail to get a laugh.  Try working on your presentation and delivery.

And no one in their right fucking mind is going to click on that link you posted.
16142  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Urgent need 2.80 btc. Have Perfect Money (Can send first) on: January 25, 2016, 09:03:58 PM
So OP, not being familiar with Perfect Money, can you tell me if they allow chargebacks?  If so, you're scamming here and no one's going to fall for it.

No one's going to give you this loan anyway.  You're a newb and that amount of money is huge.
16143  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: CoinMonster's Sell-Your-Bitcoins-for-USD Cash by Mail Service, Escrow Welcomed on: January 25, 2016, 08:43:38 PM
I might be jumping the gun on this, but did you receive the cash yet?  I'm still interested in how these transactions might work out and as I said earlier I might be willing to try this.

nor9865 will have it today if that's not already the case.

Are you guys going to post these packing/unpacking videos anywhere?

No. That would raise privacy issues for both parties. They are just for the escrow provider which was SebastianJu.
Gotcha, that makes sense.  One more question:  Did you end up using Priority Mail Express with a tracking number?
16144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is everyone ignoring problems? on: January 25, 2016, 08:40:56 PM
i wanted to reply: replace "problems" with "me" but then realized a contradiction, so i dedcided not to write at all.

on the other hand, i cannot let you win.
I LOL'ed at this; you are quite correct.

My technical understanding of bitcoin is not that great.  I hear words to the effect that there is a problem with the block size and something about a hard fork which will produce two bitcoin variants.  What else are we looking at as far as this goes--and I mean problems that could actually kill bitcoin.  I do read what's on this forum quite a bit but I think I'm a bit dense when it comes to the mechanics of bitcoin.

But kwukduck, you're just a drama queen.
16145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The space launchings aren't putting food on your table. on: January 25, 2016, 08:33:11 PM
Oh Christ is Greek still trolling?  I thought he got a permaban or something, as I haven't seen any of his threads or posts around lately.  And I agree with Splendulus:  NASA does not have an obligation to put food on your table.  That's part of YOUR food budget, not our taxes.  I don't mind the space programs at all.

Greek, you almost sound like a conspiracy theorist.  Almost.  And you sound like you're an only child, too.
1. You haven't seen me around because I've been working full-time on two part time jobs whilst working on my engagement proposal for my girlfriend, and also getting my own personal businesses finally off the ground. I cannot log in every single day like a loser. You see, when you have a life outside your computer, that sometimes happens.

2. I'm not trolling. Reality is that I don't want my money being taken away from me to fund people floating in space. Why not prioritize humans and worldy issues first like famine, war, death, recession, and so on before funding all that bullshit we don't need?

3. I'll take it that you're just pissed that you have yet to come up with an argument against that "fifteen year old girl stripping for bitcoins" situation. It's good to know you encourage little girls getting naked for money anonymously! You keep up the good work!
1)  Excellent!  I hope life gets even busier for you.

2)  That is a naive view of economics in my opinion.  Stuff is prioritized; you just don't want space exploration to happen at all because you think it personally affects how much food you can put on your table--that's waaaay more a function of how much you can earn than the little you, personally, contribute to NASA's budget.

3)  Have you stopped beating your fiancee yet?
16146  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: CoinMonster's Sell-Your-Bitcoins-for-USD Cash by Mail Service, Escrow Welcomed on: January 25, 2016, 08:25:51 PM
sold him 0.52 for cash by mail.

escrow was sebastianju

lets wait and see how this goes now.

(coinmonster will record the transaction from packing to posting)
(i will record the pick up and opening)
I might be jumping the gun on this, but did you receive the cash yet?  I'm still interested in how these transactions might work out and as I said earlier I might be willing to try this.

16147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ARTIST on: January 25, 2016, 05:50:50 PM
Why would anyone remove him from the forum?

Because he is going to keep scamming people
Right but it's one of the quirks of this forum that scams are not policed.  The mods can do nothing about it, so it is imperative that we use our brains. Sorry you got scammed, but hopefully you'll smarten up for next time.
16148  Other / Meta / Re: My yahoo62278 acct is hacked on: January 25, 2016, 05:43:52 PM
Yahoo I believe you.   Your writing style is the same as what I'm familiar with and it's good you got your account back.   I'm going to put you back in my trust list. Smiley

16150  Economy / Lending / Re: .05 BTC loan on: January 25, 2016, 03:47:35 AM
FYI for anyone who want to lend BTC to OP. he just started being active 2 days ago and his (and mine) sig campaign payment is due today. and his pass was changed 3 times on 23rd.
Good looking out, Jhanzo.  OP, what do you have to say about that?

With letyouearn and Yahoo62278 getting hacked recently, plus the Master-P fiasco we all need to be a little extra cautious.  But you should know about the no collateral-no loan rule here, and it applies to you as well.
16151  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer: luckypyrate on: January 25, 2016, 03:45:30 AM
The full moon must be going around the world today, as it seems craziness has hit bitcointalk with full force.  So many people getting hacked and scammed and so forth.  Don't know about luckypyrate, whether he actually was or if this is some sort of excuse.  You can't tell these days.
16152  Economy / Lending / Re: .05 BTC loan on: January 25, 2016, 03:38:45 AM
Looking for a quick loan of 0.05 BTC.
I'll return .055 BTC within a week,
Reason: Bored so I feel like a bit of Altcoin trading
No collateral at the moment, would use my account but people would accuse me of selling it.
Ty

Loan: .05
Repayment: .055
Date: 1 week
Lol, you're not a newbie here, so you should know you need collateral and if you need a loan of what amounts to $20 for altcoin trading, then that's a good reason NOT to lend it to you.  Also, how are you going to pay back this loan?
16153  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Precious metals and not only on: January 25, 2016, 03:36:33 AM

Exactly.  I understand only enough of this to realize that it's a shitty scam attempt.  There are tons of coins available on Ebay and even in my own town without having to trust some newbie on bitcointalk, which is where all the fucking scammers congregate.  OP, forget about it.  Why don't you try to peddle this bullshit on the Russian or Polish sections?
16154  Economy / Gambling / Re: Invest in my gambling addiction and profit. on: January 25, 2016, 03:21:38 AM
why do u want to create a new account to post this, if u need a loan from here its better to have some reputation , and why do u want to gamble if u dont have any money with you  Grin

I did not create a new account to post this. This is my real account, but I`m more of a leecher, I don't post much. Also, I said the reason why I want to gamble in the OP.
Dude, if this isn't a throwaway account and you value it, you ought to lock up this topic before you get red trust because you're going to get it for either begging or asking for a loan without collateral or for promoting a scam.  Guaranteed.
16155  Other / Meta / Re: Staff... why was my topic trashed? on: January 25, 2016, 03:13:15 AM
"Either you give all speeders tickets, or you rescind my speeding ticket, officer!"

Yeah, that's going to work.
16156  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.20 btc loan. on: January 25, 2016, 03:02:57 AM
Holy Christ what is happening on this forum???

It's disturbing to me that so many trusted people are getting hacked.  The hacking thing has long been an excuse for people to scam, so part of me wonders whether these claims are true.  I tend to think they are, but if so then these trusted members need to take more precautions.  Yahoo62278 got hacked apparently because he clicked on some sort of keylogger link, and I'd be interested to know what happened with letyouearn.
16157  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase giving Bitcoin holders interest ? on: January 25, 2016, 02:59:17 AM
This would be great and I'd love to try it, but 1)  Coinbase closed my account months ago, and 2)  I'd never hold any significant amount of bitcoin on an exchange.  Can't trust exchanges.

But I think if someone can pull off this one very important bank function--the paying of interest--then it'll be huge.  At least if someone can do it without running away with the funds.   Tongue
16158  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Success is a lousy teacher. It seduces smart people into thinking they can't los on: January 25, 2016, 02:46:34 AM
Do you see??? Do you see why i get so pissed off at posts like the one above me? This guy has no clue what is going on. Didnt even skim through the first page or the last.
Lol, I don't even know what it is he posted much less if it has anything to do with the topic at hand.  He's probably some drooling schmuck who believes everything he is able to read on the internet.  Report the post if it bothers you that much.
16159  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Winnings from faucets on: January 25, 2016, 02:43:55 AM
No, never.  And earnings (not "winnings") from them have only gotten worse in the past few weeks, apparently since google nuked them from adsense or something like that.  The moonbit and moondoge faucets have been reduced to a pathetic trickle and I've essentially stopped using them altogether.  This might be the end of them, who knows.
16160  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 100 Hour gone still not payment received on: January 25, 2016, 02:41:37 AM
OP, see if your health insurance will cover an MRI because you need to check to see if there's a brain in your head.  What do you expect when you give your money to places that tell you you'll double it in X hours?  You're going to lose it.  And when you do, don't come crying on bitcointalk, babe.  We've seen it all before.
