16161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the reasons to support war? on: January 25, 2018, 03:51:56 AM
There can never be any reason to support war. War is always unproductive, and causes huge damage to human life and property. And the worst thing about war is that it kills off the best people in a country. The only instance in which I am ever going to support a warring side is if they are defending themselves against a military invasion by someone else.
16162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: January 24, 2018, 10:47:28 AM
I am surprised that despite all these setbacks (South Korea government action, Stripe decision.etc), Bitcoin is still managing to hold above the $10,000 per coin mark ($11K as per the latest exchange rates from GDAX). There is an old saying in English - What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
16163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance dropping hard on: January 24, 2018, 10:44:35 AM
I still remember when it used to be above the 90% mark (in 2015/16). Right now, it is struggling to stay above the critical one-third mark (33.33%). But IMO, Bitcoin must blame itself. The ultra-high transaction fee has resulted in users abandoning the coin and turning to other alternatives such as Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum. Merchants who used to accept BTC earlier are no longer doing that, as a result of the high fees (examples are Stripe and Steam).
16164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin different from alt coins? on: January 24, 2018, 10:41:59 AM
Altcoins is a short term investment. It may goes up its price but its not long term. When it goes up, after that the price will go down and will never be go up again. While bitcoin is a long term investment. When the price or value goes down, it may be goes up again not as the same of altcoins. That is my observation of the difference between altcoin and bitcoin.

I tend to agree. Right now, there are close to 1,500 circulating in the market and very few of them will survive in the long term. Anywhere from 90% to 99% of the altcoins will become worthless in the next one or two years. I don't know which ones will survive, but I have high hopes for coins such as Stellar Lumens, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Byteball, and Monero.
16165  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is religion necessary for humans? on: January 24, 2018, 09:04:54 AM
On my own opinion, religion is necessary for human because it is the foundation on how to live life.

So are you saying that non-religious people don't know how to live? I have to disagree with you. There are billions of non-religious people around the world, and if you look at them then you can find that their standard of living is much better than that of the religious nuts. On top of that, they save more money as there is no need to make donations to the religious bodies.
16166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2018, 09:00:06 AM
I don't think ISIS will have time to sign up to get a BTC address and I don't think ISIS will have time to wait for confirmation that funds has been received on in their specified BTC address. And to think that they are always on the go and their usual hiding places don't have internet connection, (jungle or desert) BTC is not a good option for them to use. Specially if they want to change it to fiat.
So true they dont have time to use bitcoin just tk buy weapons.they have their own money or maybe big people support them they are so busy to make war.or maybe their leader knows about bitcoin and use it nothing is imposible.

They tried creating their own currency by minting gold, silver and copper coins (gold came from ransom payments). But this currency never became very popular, and in the end they abandoned the plans for minting new coins and continued to use fiat currencies such as the United States Dollar, Syrian Pound, Turkish Lira and Iraqi Dinar.
16167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: January 24, 2018, 08:56:11 AM
Rich countries are rich because they av good leaders and vice versa

Even the leaders won't be able to do anything, if the general population is not interested in their own welfare. I can give you dozens of examples. The first one that comes to my mind is that of Thomas Sankara, the former President of Burkina Faso. He was one of the best African leaders of all time, and still he was assassinated by his own people. Another example is that of Patrice Lumumba of Congo.
16168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Racism on: January 24, 2018, 08:50:34 AM
I really like the fact that the world is becoming more sensitive to racial descrimination. I remember not too long ago a young lady was expelled from the University of Alabama for making racist comments on social media on Martin Luther King day. Racism is a thing that shouldn't be. We are all humans and that's what matters.

Being more sensitive to racial discrimination is one thing, and suppressing someone's freedom of speech is another. What happened with the student in University of Alabama can be classified as an example for the latter. I saw that comment, and I don't think that she deserved an expulsion from the college for it. For heaven's sake, I though that the United States was a democracy and not a dictatorship like North Korea.
16169  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cryptocurrencies Soon To Be Legal in Belarus on: January 24, 2018, 08:48:16 AM
That's pretty cool. considering that Belarus is not the most open minded country... But I am happy they made such a decision Smiley

Have you ever been to Belarus? I don't think that Belarus is not an open minded country. If you listen to a lot of western propaganda, then this can happen. For the western media, Saudi Arabia can be the most open minded country in the world and Belarus and Russia can be dictatorships. But the truth is known to everyone.
16170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your opinions on immigration? on: January 24, 2018, 08:20:52 AM
Your opinions of immigration is reasonable but It seems impossible to limit the number of immigrants . Because, there are millions of immigrant people out there . For that reason, any country cannot limit the immigration for sure.

It is possible to limit immigration, if a country is having tough rules. For example, you may not find a lot many of the illegal immigrants in countries such as Japan and South Korea. The reason is that these countries are not very tolerant of illegal immigrants. Even Western nations such as Australia and Denmark have managed to limit the number of immigrants.
16171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fastfood can potentially Kill Us! on: January 24, 2018, 08:18:13 AM
lmao. too much of it will DEFINITELY kill you. fastfoods have too much preservatives on them. eating once, already isn't healthy.

Preservatives are present everywhere. They are present in fruit juices, energy drinks, cheese spreads, processed meats, and bread. Preservatives are even present in your daily packet of cow milk. How you are going to avoid them? So there is no point in complaining about fast food. Chemicals are present in other food items as well.
16172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: January 24, 2018, 08:15:02 AM
Islam is a religion of tolerance

OK.. I have heard enough of this religion of tolerance / religion of peace BS. Let's look in to the facts. There are more than 50 Muslim majority nations in the world, including the richest nation as far as per capital GDP is concerned (Qatar). How many of these nations are tolerant of non-Muslims? I am sorry to say this, but the answer is zero.
16173  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: January 24, 2018, 08:12:52 AM
40 years jail term would be fine, when the person comes out should be weak and grey. How dare you do such emotional, physical and psychological damage to another human like yourself

I don't think that any country is having such long prison sentences for rape. In countries such as Sweden, the rapists are often able to avoid jail time by paying a small monetary fine or by doing a few hours of community service. And in other countries such as India and Pakistan, the conviction rate in rape charges remain below the 1% mark.
16174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Decrease Population on: January 24, 2018, 08:10:52 AM
I think we need to teach other people how to use contraceptives and try the 2 child policy program.

Since the world population is overwhelmingly young, even a strict two-child policy will fail to achieve zero population growth. What we need is a one-child policy without any loopholes and it must be applied in the third world nations such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and Somalia. This is no laughing matter. We need to act quick.
16175  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: January 24, 2018, 08:08:23 AM
I do agree with death penalty. Way back then, i thought death penalty was too brutal, but now a days, death penalty is just enough to fight crime, to use as a threat to those who do bad things.

Even I used to oppose the death penalty when I was in my teens. Back then I was a liberal. But my views have changed, after I started working and began raising my kids. Let me be clear about it. Death penalty is quite brutal, and I am not denying it. But then, we need to reduce the rate of violent crimes, such as murders and rapes.
16176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIRGINITY before getting married on: January 24, 2018, 08:00:57 AM
for some people maybe yes, but in my view it is not important
The important thing is that both couples love each other

I agree with you. Those guys who want to marry a virgin girl must advertise for the same. I don't think that they will get many proposals. Nowadays, the youth is hyperactive, as a result of the proliferation of the social media. Their sex lives start when they are in their mid-teens. If you ask them to abstain from sex, then they are not going to listen to you.
16177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pollution on: January 24, 2018, 07:56:05 AM
pollution mostly occur because fumes and a fire.
Whether you agree with vehicles made fuel oil in a change with tekhnologi electricity to reduce the pollution?

I would like all the gasoline-driven vehicles in the world to be replaced with electric vehicles. But the prohibitive costs are preventing this. For example, a good electric car will cost you anywhere from $80,000 to $100,000, while a gasoline driven vehicle with the same configuration will cost you just $10,000 or $15,000.
16178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: January 23, 2018, 12:31:01 PM
Bitcoin's future looks bright to me, because BTC is quite good in adapting to the changing conditions. Government actions and competition from altcoins have failed to prevent the growth of Bitcoin. The user-base is increasing at a good pace despite all these adversities. Who knows? We may achieve a market cap of $1 trillion this year itself.
16179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: January 23, 2018, 12:26:11 PM
Holding is extremely risky, as Bitcoin can go down to very low levels and stay there for extended duration. It has happened in the past and it can happen in the future as well. Remember 2014/16? The exchange rates went down from $1,200 in 2013 to $200 per coin in 2015, before making a recovery in the beginning of 2016.
16180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 23, 2018, 09:32:20 AM
This is a very tricky question. Right now many of the alts (especially Ethereum, Ripple and Cardano) are acting like parasites, leaching away market cap and users from Bitcoin. But at the same time, these alts are not capable of existing independently without Bitcoin. If Bitcoin is not there, then the vast majority of the altcoins will become worthless.
