1621  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com |Holiday Art Contest "Hand Drawn" $3150 up for grabs ~ Ends Dec. 20th on: November 16, 2020, 02:31:30 PM
I do feel like my past submission should get any of the consolation but you have none LOL this time we got to see more winners! Being one from last to first would be awesome. I'll try to submit as many as I can this holiday season.  Wink
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 14, 2020, 07:05:15 PM
Honestly I like playing with other players and make some talks with other players I find many friends on the chat box but some of them are scammers who will ask you to invest or some will spam you begging for a tip.
Some beggars pretends they lost it all LOL when in fact they aren't playing any, I tried to chat a guy that said he lost $200 in a single bet and I can't see his username under the bet history lmao not even his $200. It's quite good to see that there is a chat in a casino, but if you look to it thoroughly you'll see a bunch of crap like beggars and scammers.

But after all It's fun to play with others.
It's fun coz it's interactive, it's more comfortable playing with other people than just a bot. Playing always depend on preferences.
1623  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electricity, Internet and Mobile Network on: November 14, 2020, 05:59:31 PM
It is concerning that our society is relying progressively more on electricity, but that is a must in order to harness the power of technology.
Most of the world is reliant with the technology and everything that revolves around it, and that is called progress.

Bitcoin is based on the internet so a world wide blackout would surely damage the network.
make me the article that I've read about the Carrington effect, if you guys don't know what is Carrington effect it is powerful geomagnetic storm from the sun last recorded in 1859. A geomagnetic storm could cause hard to any electronic device, this might result to trillions of damages around the world.

There are ways to counter this, though. I'm sure researchers will develop battery tech in the next few years to the level that we might power entire houses with mergency baterries held underground or something similar.
How about an offline communication? I think we should more focused on this one rather than relying to uncertain stuffs like the internet or signal towers, and this might cost lesser.

1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can people rebel against bitcoin? on: November 14, 2020, 04:57:04 PM
Bitcoin is just a small piece part of the scene, it was used to pay the killer, they could have used fiat or anything that the killer wants to be paid it could be a property or whatever. My point here is that the bitcoin was not as big deal as people interprets it. And to add, I find nothing special with this since bitcoin is just a currency too like fiat, it is highly accessible so people could just use bitcoin in anything they want.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 13, 2020, 08:23:28 PM
I'm living as if it's weekend everyday lol I even wakes up without knowing the day today, the freaking pandemic made me this way thus giving me all of my time doing my stuff including casino and betting. Now I'm trying the cockfight betting, I don't know guys if you know it, a friend of mine refer me to this site and invited me to play, he's an admin so he approved me right away. So far so good I must say  Grin  Single game like this is more enjoyable I think.
1626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prediction 2020 on: November 13, 2020, 06:34:36 PM
Bloomberg seems to be correct in predicting the price of Bitcoin in 2020,
especially now that the Bitcoin price has a strong Fomo,
They will be always at the right prediction one way or another coz they don't stop predicting anyways lol bitcoin under strong fomo is good but bad for those who are late accumulating bitcoin, or what I called fomoeded  Grin

with the persistence of the Bitcoin price above $ 16,000 there will be a mega pump that will occur, I expected this will happen.
Still uncertain for me as DeFi projects still shitting in the cryptospace, as investors are still looking for a quick profit out of shit project huge amount of money will just circulate above the DeFi projects. The resistance is strong at that level, though it's still early to assume but I also hope for it.
1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 13, 2020, 05:33:17 PM
How it can be insured if the price is uncertain? People be making digital currencies as an asset and think of insurance is absurd. Although it was compared to gold almost every time, there this gap or the difference that makes bitcoin very far from gold or any physical asset. Plus given the decentralization? Whom will you ask for insurance? Is there any company that gives bitcoin insurance? I don't know if that will work accordingly tho.
1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: November 12, 2020, 09:36:19 PM
It does sounds to sexist if we talk about gender about this one, I feel like there's no need to discuss with regards to gender in dealing with cryptocurrencies, so what if one's investor is a man or a woman? that would not change anything. I know there have been this privilege in men but come on it's 2020, broad thinking and understanding is a must Roll Eyes We don't even know if Satoshi is a man or a woman  Huh anyone?
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 12, 2020, 08:23:43 PM
I honestly think there isn't a thing to be confuse with, the only bitcoin is running bullish is because are buying it. Obviously things are getting on fire right now because of talks being piled up in different countries, but there isn't that much lol even the election in the US, so what if they elect new president?  Huh bitcoin is getting strong I guess, new price resistance will be seen more likely to be at $10000 hopefully  Grin
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Whale moved $225 million worth Bitcoin on: November 12, 2020, 07:00:14 PM
Nice attempt at trying to get clicks on your website, OP. Gotta say, I'm impressed with your attempts at being subtle.

But at the time of writing, looking at coinbazar724.com, Bitcoin price is $ 15,865.64.
as of now, from CoinBazar724.com, Ethereum Price is $464.03.
I was reading a post on CoinBazar724.com which was directed from cointelegraph.com saying that BTC may reach to even $17k!!!

I was busy for like 5 minutes reading the replies and found this *facepalm* moving bitcoins has been very natural to the market, it will be just big when someone sold a huge amount of it, then we have it people who wants a massive traffic on their website, pretty clever I can say. But I must say, it's good actually giving people stuff to speculate with, but then the bad is with the approach in letting people know with hidden intention lol.
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 10, 2020, 08:20:34 PM
The decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies wouldn't get affected by any president in any country in terms of legalization for IMO.
I agree, no matter how these presidents influence people if people are wary of such thing they won't get affected, so what if Biden isn't in favor of any cryptocurrencies, would that change a thing in crypto? maybe it would reflect in prices but how can we know that? perhaps there will be significant change in crypto tomorrow if Biden says no more crypto in USA today.

Regardless of whose ever will be taking the presidential post, the only thing they can do is to implement some rules and not legalizing it because the ideology of Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and couldn't be subject to the jurisdiction of any central bank.
No matter how negative or positive their view on certain things, they can't get emotionally with any law that they are passing it needs to be studied.
1632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stanley Druckenmiller: another billionaire sees bitcoin as store of value on: November 10, 2020, 07:22:48 PM
It is not about a billionaire only saying this, it is obvious and we can see this ourselves, there was a time bitcoin was $0.8 and now at $15000, is that not a store of value and obviously to see.
The very point of OP is that a probable whale, big personality might dive into crypto especially bitcoin and that could be a great addition for the price, and might trigger another bull run hopefully if he decides to. If you are already into bitcoin since 2016 or 2017, that means you already saw its potential, a currency or a store of value.

Even if the price has not increased to this such extent, because bitcoin is a digital asset, it makes it remain as a store of value.
Bitcoin is a store of value, but what makes it different from the other is that it is volatile, so for a billionaire to consider bitcoin is a huge news to the community given that these people don't risk that high with uncertainties.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 09, 2020, 11:36:30 PM
A world without fiat currency and is primarily run by bitcoin wouldn't be too different from the world we live in today. A milk carton will still cost tye same as everywhere else because value are just arbitrary qualities we imposed on objects to signify its relevance, only change being secure transactions, and a much more independent way of spending money.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest threats to the price of Bitcoin. on: November 09, 2020, 10:59:13 PM
Bitcoin being as established as it is now wouldn't have to be wry of outside threats unless it's an end of the world scenario, in which case everyone should panic of course. Nonetheless, what I see being the biggest threat to bitciin us ironically the one that also put it to what it was now, the whales themselves. If these whales decided tp dump the price we cannot do anything about it, they will definitely affect the price and moreso the mentality of the investors which woukd immediately cause bitcoin to fail.
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 09, 2020, 10:12:55 PM
Evidently it positively affected the market's weather, but I doubt this will affect bitcoin's price in any way. The virus is clearly tried to be a factor to bitcoin's downfall but has not worked so we can safely assume that what effects it may have to bitcoin will be little if none at all. Though this vaccine can upturn the economy back to normalcy and those countries that have big loans during the lockdown period like the Philippines will start to feel the effects of the loans once every other country in the planet recovers
1636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 09, 2020, 09:37:51 PM
~ The weird thing was : If the Worker have worked for too long the casinos takes them for granted and they are more likely to loose their payment.
What's weird about that? Those who worked with them for a short period of time were probably forced to resign and not a forced leave.

Companies are trying to make ends meet too and they need help from the Government to assist their employees.

I know of a company that recently forced employees to take a one week leave each month. They could have done that as early as March but they didn't.

Now the steps taken  to tackle that :

Quote
Macau government could regulate the unpaid leave, measures could be implemented for an economic rebound, employees could be offered additional training, and the foreign employment quota should be adjusted to protect the local workers.

Macau continues to suffer the effects of the ongoing pandemic, despite some of the slight recoveries taking place in the industry.

*Proposals*

At the same time we saw the boost in the gaming revenues:
Quote
Macau’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) dropped by 90% in September but rose by 229% month-on-month in October. The Individual Visit Scheme resumed mid-September and helped boost the economy in a small way, however, the country expects the tourist arrivals for 2020 to drop by 90%.

That's comparing Sept and October only. How about losses suffered from March?

It also says there that projected tourists arrivals (casino players) are going to drop by 90%. That further justifies the cost cutting by casinos.
But they could've at least be a bit humane about it. These people they forced to unpaid leaves have mpuths to feed, and most probably would not have much power in theur hands to find a new job right away especially given the fact that the skills required for you to work in a casino don't usually cope well with skills required in other fields, a stipend of some sort can alleviate their employee's problem first and foremost.
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: Is COVID-19 an excuse for governments & central banks to print money? on: November 09, 2020, 07:18:48 PM
Covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas
Is there anything for us to read about any of this claims? Any credible source for this one?

Why some people always come with this conclusion without anything on their hand to prove with, or at least the word "opinion" to start their sentence?
From that claim, that covid was intentionally released to frame China seems so vague in a long of angles. You could have researched more about this one.
1638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can A Chrome app be a malwware and steal your private keys? on: November 09, 2020, 06:23:52 PM
I store my privates keys in gmail is this possible that I installed a malware (chrome app) that can read it?    Huh
There is no need to answer that. You just have to understand that storing private keys online is a HUGE mistake. Avoid depositing to that wallet or immediately withdraw your funds in case you've already done so.
It's not a mistake if you know the internals of storing it online, rather than a mistake it is safe to call it risky since it is connected online the probability of being stolen is huge. It is highly suggested to store anywhere in cold or offline so you're the only person who can access it with to avoid any risk and harm. I store my keys in notepad, store it in folder with specific and special name.

Buy a hardware wallet or use open-source non-custodial desktop or mobile wallets such as electrum. Store your seed phrase and private keys OFFLINE.
Electrum will do as much as a hardware wallet, but if you got the bucks to buy I'll suggest you do have it.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 09, 2020, 05:43:26 PM
Whatever strategy is used, I believe it cant bring us luck forever. I believe strategy can increase our chances of winning the bet, but never risk everything and believe in 100% strategy because if we lose then all the money in the pocket will run out.
For me strategy is a tool of skill, not for luck and most of them are based and backed by mathematics. Strategy must suit the person, or should be adopted, if you know it is not for you to use or let's say not in line with the game style you want to play you better look for another that will really help you win. Strategy is an extension of your style.

In sports betting in particular, I would not normally bet on every match as I am more interested in waiting for matches that have the potential to bring luck even if only a little. Setting the right momentum in my opinion is also a strategy in sports betting, and not betting every day is one of the effort.
Me too, I often bet in sports if it's a big game that makes me want to watch til the end like basketball or in Esports.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Online Casinos on: November 08, 2020, 07:39:11 PM
I do not believe that you can win in a casino, and even more so in a crypto casino.

And what could be the reason? That's why there's what you a provably fair in casino so you would be able to know whether your bet is fair or not.  If you don't see an option where you can verify your bets then you can believe that you can win on that casino.

Anyone who says we can't win in casino are either non educated about gambling or having tried gambling once in his life.
I could not agree more, but I believe more on they have not tried gambling in casinos yet, they are just fond believers of many that there isn't a person who won in the casino. Well we could not change their mind unless they want to change it by letting it experience themselves.

If we understand what gambling is and what casino is, we would not say it as that is not the reality. The reality is, casinos wins most of the time, for a simple reason that they have the edge, which means we lose most of the time but we also have a chance to win but not in the long run.
If a gambler knows when to get out, then the house edge would be slim, but that isn't the case given the fact that every gambler is unique, different casino approach, different amount of money, different strategies and different views on the game. Players are actually the game of every casino.
