1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies will be around in 10 years and why? on: March 28, 2021, 06:32:10 PM
Litecoin, Bitcoin, and possibly xrp.

Litecoin is much faster, cheaper to send, way undervalued, and will become scarce as institutions buy it up. It also is easier to evolve with a collaborating development team and foundation.

Bitcoin, due to being the first one and recognizable, being used as a store of value as insecurity with fiat increases, etc.

XRP because if it is adopted by banks, despite having billions of coins, could become a mainstream tool for banks, etc.

If the whole cryptocurrency thing will continue throughout the years, for sure Bitcoin and Ethereum will surely be still around after 10 years.

Probably the higher the market cap the higher the chance that the cryptocurrency will stake after 10 years, so if you look in the coinmarketcap the top token will remain for sure.

Litecoin will probably remain because it's already an established coin, I just don't like XRP because it has recent issues that have a big effect on it and being centralized.
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Efforts of holding wasted on: March 28, 2021, 06:09:33 PM
People be like
Don't always sell all the coins and tokens you own because they can rise in future but I've hold so many coins since 2018 and only very few gives me 50$ to 70$  Grin today, isn't this laughable??

I be like
It's always wise to hold only very popular coins for future sake like the period we are in presently, not all altcoins will pump and give you a thousand dollar gain or more, if I've spent my time to gather top altcoins I would be in happy mood right now

That is surely the case when it comes to holding altcoins because not all altcoins in the market will pump in the market because there were just thousands of altcoins out there.

The best scenario was to hold bitcoin or ethereum for years and you could have a little guarantee that it will increase its market price throughout the year compared to holding other altcoins out there.

If you buy an altcoin to hold you also need to have the right method, and analyze if it is still worth it holding the token, and considered the time it will take before it increases its price, most of my strategy is selling I sell a few altcoins that pump already and convert it to other coins the is pumping to utilize the profit in just a small amount of time, you might think holding Cardano or Polkadot is worth to increase for like 5 years but is it worth it? I mean you could invest in some NFT token and earn x10 right easily, I mean just consider that.

Now we're discussing 40000, 50000, 60000.

I don't think there was a connection with the market price in becoming a central bank itself in the case of bitcoin, I don't really think it is possible at all. Maybe if the government can control bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not become the central bank because bitcoin is decentralized and central banks are centralized, maybe what it means is becoming your own bank where you have the control on your own.

But most of the people actually are just stick with banks because they just don't want the responsibility, like if you lose your private key you lose your bitcoin as well, in a bank you could just request another password if that happened.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: significance of different altcoilns on: March 28, 2021, 04:52:52 PM
Hey Guys, im still very new to crypto.  is there a resource to learn about the significance of different altcoins before investing?

You could easily search everything on Google, just make sure to know everything on an altcoin token before actually investing and buying the altcoin.

Here you go https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/

I hope that will help you to know the basic knowledge about crypto but it will not give you a lot of explanations about crypto and in another way you should always try to read various article that already published by coindesk or cointelegraph too.

I can recommend this website, as well as you could use the coinmarketcap website if your researching for an altcoin since everything that you need to know about a token is already in the website with the complete list of top cryptocurrency in the market.
1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 28, 2021, 04:30:10 PM
Hello. So, I was wondering if bitcoin is something that only the privileged and elite who have extra money leftover can invest in or not. Are normal people working minimum wage buying bitcoin, even if it is a small amount? Thanks.

Anyone can buy bitcoin it doesn't matter who you are as long as you have the money, you could buy bitcoin where ever you are as long as you know how to.

Probably the reason why a lot of people don't buy this is, they just don't know what bitcoin is and don't know if bitcoin is really worth buying or possibly could just be a waste of money.

Anyone could be a millionaire or a billionaire this day if they just know that investing in bitcoin in the past years would make them. Holding bitcoin is not that easy as well thinking your holding it for 10years or more.

1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 11:27:05 PM
Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? because NFT already in market.

Investing in bitcoin and Ethereum is a good investment and probably the best investment that you could do in the cryptocurrency market, bitcoin and Ethereum is the safest investment considering its both top crypto.

If you want to invest in NFT's you could do that as well since NFT's are on fire right now and we could easily expect a great profit in these NFT's just make sure to buy in the creator itself, not in the secondary market.

NFT's token is a good investment as well because most of it is low cap tokens that have a lot of room to grow, this token is gonna blow up in the future that could give you 5x or even more.
1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: March 26, 2021, 07:01:43 PM
I've been in the cryptocurrency sector since the infancy, and I've seen the brightest and darkest days of BTC, but when I look at the current growing conditions of the bitcoin industry, I see that we've come a long way, and most of the world accepts cryptocurrency payments, and some major brands are even linked to the BTC world.

But every now and then, I wonder if these circumstances will last longer and improve in the future.

What are your thoughts on the matter?

Bitcoin is in the process of growth and on the way to its purpose, we soon see bitcoin as the top currency as what everyone could use.

And I think bitcoin will continue to conquer and adapt all over the world, for sure there is always a big risk in investing in bitcoin and we don't know if this thing bitcoin is going to continue in the future.

There was no guarantee that this is going to last in 10 years or even more, but as it still continues these days why not take the chances and take the risk to invest, I mean we are all taking the risk when we invest.

1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to XRP on: March 25, 2021, 02:38:23 PM
I find it interesting to take a little bit of risk with XRP, but don't have the knowledge to say that it really has a potential to boom. any words of Motivation or should I stop Converting my BTC to XRP? just wanna Play safe. Cheesy

Maybe not, If its already bitcoin for me I just gonna stay or put my investment into bitcoin, in your portfolio there should be at least 20% of bitcoin because it was just the best cryptocurrency and could surely give you the easiest profit in the cryptocurrency market compared to other altcoins.

Of course, the only thing is it just wasn't going to give you the x10 or higher profit compared to other altcoins in the market but just contain very high risk compared to bitcoin investment.

I Think XRP is still a great token in the market but it just takes so long for the pump compared to other tokens and especially other trending coins in the market like NFTs.

1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 25, 2021, 02:23:38 PM
I've seen the post where to buy bitcoin when the market price of bitcoin is around 100k$ which I think the best thing to do and probably your gonna need to convert your bitcoin at some point especially if you're already in a very high profit because the cryptocurrency market is just so risky so there is always a potential to lose your profit when the market goes down.

Still, it's great news for the bitcoin community seeing a giant company like Tesla adopt bitcoin, I cannot see a lot of people to used bitcoin in buying a Tesla but for sure in the future or when the bitcoin reaches a very high market price in the market we are surely going to see a lot of people using this option.

It just a mess if companies accumulate high bitcoin volume the same as whales where bitcoin prices could be manipulated.
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2021, 10:14:40 AM
Would you buy Tesla using your Bitcoin or you will wait to $100K?  Roll Eyes

I guess that's what makes it worth buying the Tesla when your investment in bitcoin already has its huge profit and then probably around a 100k$ meaning 1 bitcoin can buy Tesla.

Probably even great when the market price is going to drop after you make a purchase, I mean bitcoin is not yet ready for spending since the market price of bitcoin is just pumping and pumping over the years, so spending your bitcoin at this moment is not actually the best thing to do since you could just lose profit and giving it to Tesla, but I guess it just the same because you do not have the risk of investing in bitcoin anymore.

Still, it's a great thing to have or for Tesla to accept bitcoin, it could easily pump the market price in the market and also help for the bitcoin adaptation.
1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I never thought I would do this on: March 24, 2021, 05:07:35 PM
Probably not, I mean I would put a DOGE coin in a wallet where I cannot easily dispose of it, in short, I will not hold a DOGE coin for long-term investment.

I guess the best way was just to put your DOGE coin in an exchange or in a wallet that you could easily swap your DOGE to another cryptocurrency. I mean I do not trust tokens that just increase its market price because of hype in social media or hyped by Elon Musk, for a long-term investment it will just slowly dump its market price.

There is also another version of DOGE coin projects that are made in the past months that actually has a utility or an upgraded version of DOGE coin that means this DOGE doesn't actually have its use yet.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain games on: March 24, 2021, 12:52:05 PM
Probably the best blockchain game that I played and I'm playing right now is Lost Relic, the game was just so polished and just playing the game I can already see that this game has a really great future.

Considering that there is only one developer to this game, still, he's able to do this amazing game. Also with the use of ENJ token and how the blockchain item in the game works is really awesome work by the developer.

Aside from Axie Infinity which I think the best blockchain game, I think Lost Relic will be the 2nd, there are so many games being released but I'm certain that this game will stand out.
1634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: March 23, 2021, 03:26:20 PM
I guess know bitcoin or cryptocurrency really change the way how I handle money and my investment, I only know bitcoin when the price was around 400$ but I didn't invest because I don't have the money to start investing and I don't really know, and believed in bitcoin at that time or let just say I'm just a beginner and don't have enough experience.

But at this moment, I think I become more responsible in handling my investment, probably way back when I earn something from a campaign I would immediately spend it, and not knowing the potential profit when I invest completely in cryptocurrency. I learn a lot and now I don't even buy something that I don't need actually and most of my money are end up in my investment. I don't know but I guess investing in cryptocurrency is just addicting because I just don't want to spend anymore knowing the potential profit in the future.
1635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk name once again used to fool people by hackers! on: March 22, 2021, 05:44:16 PM
Elon Musk's name is widely used when it comes to scams in the cryptocurrency community, with that amount of money I mean you should be ultra-careful before investing that money.

I mean when it comes to social media where scams are pretty much everywhere you should just triple-check everything checks the project, website, and everything, and even verifies it to others.

I think a lot of celebrities' account was also hacked in the past just and use in scams, a lot of people fall into this kind of scams which is actually believable because of the blue checkmark of twitter indicating that it is a legitimate account.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: March 21, 2021, 05:42:28 PM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

I mean investing in a project something like an ICO or a presale when you could buy their token at a cheap price is obviously a big gamble or has its high risk.

We all remember how a lot of project in 2018 or 2017 end up, when you invest in this kind of project it either you could make a good profit or could end up be a big scam where the project will just stop after accumulating a big amount of money in there ICO.

So just remember to make your own research before investing in this kind of project, to make it less risky you could invest in some top altcoins in the market. Still, even though you have less than 5 Ethereum you could still invest and make a fresh start just don't risk it in a project where you don't believe in and projects that you don't really know.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 21, 2021, 05:18:52 PM
So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?

I think at that buying price you already make a huge profit, at some point you need to sell your investment, I mean practically or your investors you know that it could go down, and you could easily buy back bitcoin when the price drops again in the market.

But I guess it's kinda different these days since according to some charts only whales are accumulating more and more bitcoin, and only fewer people are actually accumulating or have a low volume of bitcoin. So I guess it's kinda scary because that just means that there will be more manipulations in the market price of bitcoin in the future if its continues, so I guess it would make sense to hold your bitcoin and just aim for a higher market value somewhere around 200k-1m$.

You could always buy buyback your bitcoin when it drops, but it's necessary to make some profit or sell because its a risky investment and we know how the market works, we don't know if bitcoin still exists after 5years so it's better to make some profit as soon as you can.
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: March 21, 2021, 04:44:31 PM
Which altcoins would you select to invest now?

Mine are:

EOS
Alpha
Mantra
Cartesi
Siacoin
XRP
Reef

There is a lot of good altcoins investments but I suggest investing in some NFT's, Right now they were just on fire and probably recent NFT projects have earned a big amount of profit.

I think NFT's with a low market cap could easily earn you an x10 amount of your investment, also the gaming community getting into blockchain is like the new trend. I suggest investing in:

THETA
ENJ
CHILLIZ
MANA

most of it is just a low market cap token so you could expect room for pumps in the future.

1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Dogecoin for what? (I need advice) on: March 21, 2021, 04:24:41 PM
Hey everybody,

I've just found an old wallet with thousands of dogecoins inside.

Since I'm a newbie, I would have some advices about exchange with others Altcoin. I was  thinking about exchanging my XDG for ETH. Is it worth? I should keep my Doge or exchange with other coins?

Thanks for help

I mean even though DOGE Coin is kinda trendy and being hype by Elon Musk I wouldn't really hold this token at all or invest in it since it more like a gamble because it doesn't have any utility.

I'm thinking where Elon Musk could give the DOGE coin a utility like for example DOGE coin can be used buying a Tesla unless Elon doesn't really care and just hyping the token, it just too risky if you consider it as an investment to earn a good profit.

For me, it's better to hold other altcoins than this DOGE coin, something like BNB, ETH, ENJ, CHZ, MANA. something that is hot at the moment would give a lot more better when it comes to profit and for long term investment.
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: March 21, 2021, 03:50:59 PM
The word "bounty" means getting paid for capturing or retrieving something right? There is no much difference with bounty hunting on this forum too, the meaning of bounty shows that you can't always catch things right, there will be times when failure will occur but some people wants reward for every single projects they promote, even if you are a pro bounty hunter who's very smart at choosing projects you won't always make the right choice.

start acting like a real bounty hunter, if projects don't work out then move on because it's bounty hunting

I guess you could earn a reward if you do the task is why it is called a bounty, not necessarily you need to catch something.

I also started in some bounty and its not really easy because the bounty was not sure at all if you're going to get the reward, 2017 where the bounty is just booming and probably could earn you a big amount of money if your lucky and did a good bounty here in the forum, but if not or the project is not legitimate or scam project you will just end up on getting nothing for your 3 months of work.

It's a tough thing to do it's better to trade cryptocurrency than just relying on this bounty especially this day where almost all of the bounty doesn't work anymore, so I guess you should try different things on how to earn.
