1621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: October 17, 2018, 11:21:18 PM
Very much possible with careful research and at least 2% profits per day. Just don't put all your money in just 1 coin, spread your capital in 3 to 5 coins and stick to the goal of 2%, sell right away and look for another coin to buy. Spreading your capital will protect your funds if in case 1 coin did not make any profits, at least you can recover from other investment.
1622  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade on: October 17, 2018, 09:24:23 PM
Depends on the market, most of the time I jump from Bittrex to Binance to HitBTC. I check first which coin has a lot of movement in a few hours then I buy a few then sell within the day. However, the market now is not good for day trading, more likely when you buy today, you will sell next day or more to get profits.
1623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I make passive daily income with trading? on: October 16, 2018, 11:59:35 PM
I dont think that's possible to earn passive income in trading. Passive income is earning money even without doing much to make it and you cant do that in trading. You cant just buy and hold, you need to monitor and look for updates to see if your investment is still earning or not. If you joined those group who will trade for you, that's not trading.
1624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money in this bear market? on: October 16, 2018, 11:58:04 PM
Even on a bear market I still try to make money on trading. 1% to 2% on each trade is not bad at all. Just be patient and stick to your goal on hitting 1% to 2%. If you try to go over that there might be a chance that you loose more if suddenly the price dropped. Dont let greed take over you in trading, regardless if its bear or bull market.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do bounty managers hide spreadsheet and pay hunters penny? on: October 11, 2018, 10:43:21 PM
Not all, maybe a few of them and those are the ones that have something to hide. If they have nothing to hide they will make it open public, transparent.Regarding paying hunters penny, it depends on the agreement between the project owner, if the owner says they will pay only a certain amount for the project, managers cant do anything about it.

1627  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Declining of Bitcoin Price has also a Decline in Consumers Interest? on: October 10, 2018, 11:53:05 PM
From the start of 2018, they say the reason why price of Bitcoin started to decline is because those who invested when price is surging to $19,500 USD started to pull out and go back to traditional investment which is stocks. Now that price is moving sideways most of the time, I think new investors would rather stick to what they have right now than pull out from their current investment and gamble on something new to them and not familiar.
1628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn cryptocurrency day trading! on: October 10, 2018, 11:40:02 PM
I think most traders started out as day trader out of curiosity. I started out as a day trader at Poloniex. The first one that I bought was ETH, the price was moving fast that day so buy a few ETH and after 2 or 3 hours I Sell and gained profits. I as lucky at that trade because I earned I think 6% in just a few hours but after that I bought XBC, I thought I bought it at a good price but after a few minutes and hours passed by, price continue to decline, I sold at loss because of panic but if I hold on to it a little bit longer, I cound have gained another 5% profit.
1629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The advantage of day trader on: October 09, 2018, 09:12:09 AM
Yeah I think the advantage is that you can get profits quickly and maybe you can get it every day, even though the benefits you get are small, because you have to make the best use from the margin price, but the risk will be far greater than holding it right?
Depends on the current market situation. if its a bull market yes you can earn profits quickly but in bear markets like what we are experiencing now, its hard to be a day trader. You have to chose carefully or else you will end up shifting from day trading to long term hodling. for day traders, setting an achievable goal is important. Setting a 10% profit in a day might not be a good idea.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: McGregor vs. Khabib- Best odds at Sportsbet.io on: October 09, 2018, 07:35:03 AM
Hi all,

Thanks for the thread. We like to think our odds are competitive, especially with our price boost feature.

Just wanted to chat about the fight a little bit. What did everyone think? Khabib's gameplan was executed perfectly - he won the stand-up exchange and the groundwork really. Was that the best Conor McGregor in the octagon? Does it settle the grappling vs striking question?

Ferguson vs Khabib will be some fight!

Best,

Mark
Sportsbet.io team

It was the best McGregor fighting in the octagon. Its just that Khabib played better than him and executed the gameplan well and perfectly. Also McGregor is not used to submission games like what Khabib has done.
I don't think we have seen the best McGregor in UFC 229. I see him calculating his moves and anticipating the moves of Khabib. He gets tired to quickly. If that is his best he should have improved his ground and pound game instead of waiting for the right moment to land that heavy hands of him. If McGregor wants a comeback, he should comeback with as a better MMA fighter equipped with more moves other than boxing and a few wrestling moves.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 09, 2018, 07:19:42 AM
With the way Dana thinks, rematch is very much possible. The hype is there but listening to Khabibs post fight interview, he doesn't like hype. Just like what McGregor did. You know how the mouth of McGregor works to hype up a fight and Khabib doesnt like it, he took it personally thats why UFC 229 ended in a brawl.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 229: Khabib vs McGregor Prediction and Info Thread on: October 05, 2018, 03:03:45 AM
Op how about adding a poll on this thread so that we can vote who will likely win this fight this Saturday. I'm still having second thoughts on placing my money of Khabib, his record is impressive but Conor have the hands that that finish his winning streak. It's hard to decide. I am siding more Khabib but not 100% convinced that he can pull a win over Conor. I think its 60/40 in favor of Khabib.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: October 04, 2018, 11:58:52 PM
If you received bounty tokens for free or because of an airdrop why do you say you are selling it at loss? You don't have any capital of that, you got it for free, so technically even if you sell it at a few Satoshis, its still free money for you. Best time to sell bounty tokens is when it get listed in an exchange site. Wait a little longer only if you think that project is very good.
1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your experiences with Cryptopia (exchange)? on: October 04, 2018, 11:52:46 PM
There's too many sh*t coins there. For me Cryptopia is next to Yobit. Don't get wrong, there are people out there who makes a lot of money in Cryptopia because of those unknown coins that they list specially those that are priced at 10 Satoshis or even lower. I made a few trades there but never really store a lot of funds in that site unlike the money the money that I invest in Binance and Bittrex.
1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: October 04, 2018, 11:47:32 PM
Holding is for first time investors, have fulltime work outside cryptocurrency, and for those who believe to the future of cryptocurrency. While day trading is almost 24-hour job monitoring and evaluating the market. Taking note of the bottoms and fluctuations.
Holding is not only for first time investors. Its also for those who believe in the project for a long period of time. Not all coins are good for long term investment that's why even those who say they are a day trader, they still have a coin that they hold on for a long period of time thinking that price of that coin will go to the moon at any given moment like those newly listed coins. I would buy that and hold on to it for a long period of time until the time when it will be listed in another site. Usually when a coin is being listed on another site, price goes up
1636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: STOPLOSS? what are Advantages and disadvantages of stoploss? on: October 04, 2018, 11:40:37 PM
If you are going to leave and cannot monitor the growth of your investment in a exchange site like Bittrex where they offer this kind of function, use the stop loss to protect your investment in any sudden drop of price while you are not in front of your screen or not logged in. This worked for me when I was holding NXT for IGNIS airdrop. As soon as the screen capture already happened, price of NXT dropped like a fly, good thing there's stop loss. I was able to sell NXT at good price.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 04, 2018, 11:34:34 PM
Before I buy any Coin not just Bitcoin I check the site and look for reviews and ask for recommendations from friends who already used the site to buy or sell. I don't like the idea of playing guinea pig where I will test if site is good or not. Don't play with your money on those doublers or get rich quick schemes. If its too good to be true, don't put your money there.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: October 04, 2018, 11:24:16 PM
Or perhaps they're secretly negotiating?

Or maybe you're right, after the initial salvo, we can't find any news related to it. We all know that if Mayweather has a upcoming fight, he usually promotes it on this social media. The last tweet was about Sept 16, a video showing him and Manny in a party or concert.

https://twitter.com/FloydMayweather/status/1041566284251422721
We all now how Floyd promotes his upcoming fight or even those that he sponsored or he is the promoter. He always mention it in his social media sites specially in Instagram. But for this one, they are quiet about it. They should have at least give their boxing fans an update on whats going on and whats the latest will be a good thing instead of leaving their fans hanging and speculating if the fight is on or not.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Ask "Time To Buy" "HOLD or SELL" "Right time to entry" on: October 04, 2018, 11:18:04 PM
Right time could be yesterday, now or tomorrow. If you plan to Buy, someone out there is willing to sell at your desired price. If you plan to Sell, someone out there is willing to Buy at your price. Just look at what happened last December 2017.Who would have thought that $19,500 will be the all time high, but during that time there are people out there who bought at $19,500.
