Sei veramente un vulcano, non riesco a capire (con invidia) come tu riesca a conciliare tutto, lavoro, famiglia, forum, bitcoin, studio. Ti invidio moltissimo, magari un giorno ci spieghi come fai.
Alla mia età il lavoro non c’è, mi arriva la pensione in automatico. La famiglia è grande e vivono per i fatti loro. Moglie rompe, ma basta ascoltare e fare si con la testa. Dormire come tutti i vecchi mi bastano 4 ore. Quindi ne rimangono 20 di veglia, quindi diciamo 16 per il forum! Ecco spiegato il mistero! |

Questa non l'avevo ancora sentita ma... solo a me questa cosa dei BRICS sembra un'altra compagnia teatrale antagonista alla principale (e più conosciuta) ma sempre indirizzata verso gli stessi scopi? BRICS non é neanche un’associazione esplicita. Rappresenta solo un nome collettivo usato originariamente in finanza per indicare un gruppo di paesi “emergenti” sui quali era possibile investire per avere alti ritorni. Tutto il resto, moneta unica inclusa, per ora é fuffa, scam, o mera speculazione. Figuriamoci se la Cina accetta di abbandonare il Remimbi per gli scambi internazionali, non scherziamo dai. |

OK, I have a theory. But it's already very obvious. - Because Ordinals users have been carving their own niche within the Bitcoin community/organizing their own conferences/having their own "heroes" with Casey Rodarmor and Erin Redwing, I believe that during the next bull cycle some of those BRC-20 tokens and NFTs will DEFINITELY surge MORE than Bitcoin. If I wanted to do some shitcoining, frankly not my first time, which BRC-20 token should I gamble? I have serious doubts about this. I don’t indulge into shit ornery very much, but after months of this Ordinals saga, I haven’t seen a clear winner in the space. There isn’t a BAYC equivalent for ordinals, and while I understand that minting is different than trading, I doubt this relentless minting activity will be ever be beneficial for prices. |

- Alps Blockchain SpA, leader in Italy in the Bitcoin mining sector and in the development of sustainable solutions for blockchain infrastructure, announces the purchase of new hardware units from BITMAIN, under an agreement with a total value of $32 million.
The order placed concerns the ANTMINER S19 XP, the most energy efficient air-cooling model of mining machines based on the SHA256 algorithm currently available on the market, which is capable of providing a computing power of 140 TH/s at 3 kW. All units are expected to be delivered in multiple batches by the manufacturer between Q2 and Q3 of 2023.
This is a second round of investments of 16 million which doubles a similar investment in Q422. The miners will be deployed into AlpsBlockchain’s mining farms in South America. |

Alps Blockchain SpA, leader in Italia nel settore del mining di Bitcoin e nello sviluppo di soluzioni sostenibili per l’infrastruttura della blockchain, annuncia l’acquisto di nuove unità di hardware da Bitmain, nell’ambito di un accordo del valore totale di $32 milioni.
L’ordine effettuato riguarda gli Antminer S19 XP, il modello di macchine per il mining basate su algoritmo SHA256 più efficiente dal punto di vista energetico attualmente disponibile sul mercato, in grado di fornire una potenza di calcolo di 140 TH/s a 3 kW. Si prevede che tutte le unità vengano consegnate in più lotti da parte del produttore tra il Q2 e il Q3 del 2023.
Si tratta di un secondo lotto di investimenti da 16 milioni che va a raddoppiare un analogo investimento nel Q422. I miner andranno ad alimentare le mining farm in Sudamerica. |

In ogni caso la totale de-correlazione tra hashrate/prezzo btc è un concetto molto interessante, forse è anche la cartina a tornasole dello stato di salute dell'intero network.
Sono d’accordo, ma si devono fare delle considerazioni a riguardo. Il mining é un’attività ad altissima concentrazione di capitale. Gli ASICS sono macchine che vanno regimate con mesi di anticipo e quantità considerevoli (non é che che chiami Bitmain e puoi comprare un ASIC, ma neanche 10…). Quindi tra la decisione di incrementare l’hashrate e quando poi tale decisione entra in produzione possono passare diversi mesi. Per questo non farei troppe elucubrazioni sulla correlazione istantanea tra prezzo ed Hashrate. Piuttosto vanno fatte su periodi più lunghi. |

I think miniscript is not really intended for end users, but rather for services that create such miniscripts.
Yes and no. Miniscript is a building block for having more complex script in a bitcoin transaction. No end user will ever be required to know how to use Miniscript language to add a script into a transaction (that already has a script, by the way). Wallet software will do that for the user, enabling more convolute spending or signing conditions via an appropriate UX. Of course hardware wallet will be required to sign those transaction, so a support for this language is required. This one is only a single building block toward the implementation of this scripting language. |

Adesso va particolarmente di moda parlare male di LN. Leggevo su Telegram alcuni utenti lamentarsi che alla fine alcune transazioni su LN erano addirittura più costose che sul base layer. Se nonostante lo spam di ordinals la rete bitcoin rimane più economica di LN, però abbiamo un problema… |
