1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: October 18, 2023, 07:41:38 PM
I believe most of the altcoin which boomed during the previous bull run has already touched their ATH and it's difficult for these coin to achieve new ATH similarly to the coins like XRP, LTC, XRP, etc which touched it's peak during 2017/2018 bull run and couldn't break it during 2021. There would be new set of coins which has untapped market potential they will be the coins to look for, as to answer your question I feel coins like ICP, SOL, MATIC, ADA & Uniswap may achieve 10x in upcoming bull run (Not predicting).
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which old coin do you prefer? Litecoin or Dogecoin? on: October 16, 2023, 06:47:58 PM
I would choose Litecoin if the transaction amount is huge as I cannot risk transaction of huge amount at the mercy of an meme coin which can pump to 10x or dump to zero at anytime, I have used Litecoin in the past when they were not many lightening speed transaction options available and I know Doge is cheaper and faster than LTC but as I said if it's higher amount I would go with LTC and if it's smaller transaction I will go ahead with Doge.
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 15, 2023, 09:58:43 PM
To put it in simple words there are some factors due to which users prefer centralized exchange over decentralized exchange is because of user interface and transaction speed and more volume with more trading pairs which are not possible in DEX (to the extend of top centralized exchanges). DEX needs to pull up the socks and start working towards making it user friendly in order to gain more customer base because users are left with no choice rather to switch to CEX knowing that their data is exposed.
1624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You are also like them? on: October 14, 2023, 08:21:17 PM
It's a a sad thing because there are hundreds and thousands of youtubers who have their so called VIP paid group where are just looting people with their random bullshit predictions and I have checked out few channels where they will ask you to buy some altcoins for long term and then couple of week later they themselves will advice against investing on those coins. They just suggest numerous coins as well and even if 99 out of 100 prediction goes wrong but they will make a promotional video of that 1 prediction which went well with testimonials this gaining for buyers for their paid group. There are people who predict genuinely and have a proven track record and those don't push you to buy membership and all. Better to stay away from these crooks.
1625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is regulation of cryptocurrency exchanges essential for mass adoption? on: October 12, 2023, 06:14:58 PM
The cryptocurrency industry is currently at a critical stage and the role of exchanges can either "Make or Marr" the growth of the space.

Since 2009 till date, the industry has encountered a mouth watering growth with many institutional adoption of which Honda Motors is the latest to announce purchase of their product via crypto. Let's not also forget Elon Musk also accept payment of crypto for his Tesla cars and other big institution around the world also accept crypto as means of payment to obtain their goods.

This shows the world and future of crypto look promising but one area of particular interest that could potentially hinder this growth seems to be compliance by crypto exchanges to be regulated which of course I personally deem important because of the past event of scam from exchanges, hacks and collapse of some CEX which left investors in shambles.

The leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance which is supposed to take the lead in regulatory compliance seems to be having troubles with many countries already due to one regulatory issues to another ranging from licensing, operating within the legal framework of the country and compliance to regulation in general which have caused their exit from countries like United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, Japan and others. Recently Bybit another top crypto exchange has also exited the UK market raising an eye brow about the readiness of this exchanges to extant laws that seek to protect the interest of users and investors.

If this turn of events towards rejecting to be regulated by countries persist, crypto might prolly fade away with time especially if some top exchanges are not operational in top countries like USA, UK, Canada, Japan and the rest.

What are your thoughts?

If regulating the cryptocurrency exchange will...
1. Guarantee the safety of our investments
2. Guarantee that people's investments can be recovered in event of winding up of a particular exchange or perceived scam.
3. Guarantee that people or investors can still carryout operations freely just like in DEX with no strict regulations.

Then, majority of the people will have confidence in cryptocurrency and will be willing to adopt it. Countries too will adopt it since they can now control the system  .

This is not gonna happen and what is gonna happen upon regulation would be as follows:
1. Taxing not just their withdrawal amount but also every single trade like happened in India which pushed some well know crypto exchanges like coindcx & kuber coinswitch to have mass layoffs of their workforce and they are at the brink of either shifting their operations to other country or going bankrupt
2. Eventually crypto will die if regulated because once regulated they can play it as per their benefits and it would be nothing short of a volatile low market cap mutual funds.

Rather, we need to have an genuine inbuild crypto community for this which should work independently unlike some ICO ranking sites who takes bribe and rate projects, we need to build a community amongst ourselves and set up protocols to be applied on crypto projects to be considered as validated projects and there should be monthly review. It not as simple as I have mentioned as there need to be a proper planning and require lot of funds to set this up. Crypto enthusiasts should come together for this else we will be left at the mercy of either the government/regulators or corrupt crypto orgs.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: October 11, 2023, 09:27:34 PM
NFT was a bubble which busted way too sooner and even those crazy hype couldn't save it. Just imagine what would one gain by hodling on to a digital image which will be of no use, altcoins should have a genre which can be used in real life to make our lives hassle free or more advanced wherein projects related to payments, network, internet, etc players a major role but not NFT.
1627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is a 20% Annual Return good ? on: October 06, 2023, 04:06:40 PM
That's a decent return if guaranteed but one cannot be 100% sure about returns or percentage of return in crypto as market may behave differently in the upcoming years than what you have back tested, anyways good luck with your prospect because anyone who is well versed with the other ROI and inflation rate will understand 20% is decent number but the problem arise with mindset of people as they expect 10x 100x returns in crypto and has high expectations because they are still unable to digest that's crypto is not a get rich quick ponzi and sudden pump of certain coins adda up to the expectation building.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: October 05, 2023, 08:13:07 PM
Ripple had gained popularity during last quarter of 2017 as i remember even I got 10x returns but Ripple is centralized and dev team can dump or take out the tokens from market to manipulate the coin's price to create false market emotions by creating demand/supply this it became talk of the town and gained popularity, also Ripple works with banks to help them with transactions.

1630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage trading on: October 02, 2023, 06:05:33 PM
Indeed, Arbitrage is one of the best way to earn but it's not as easy as we think because you need to constantly monitor the market and need to have funds in multiple exchanges and checkout on coins which has arbitrage but while doing it we need to consider the withdrawal fee, the buy order price on exchange where you want to sell because there are times when buy order price is much more lesser than market price. This can work occasionally but not on a long term because considerable price difference will bein low volume exchanges where you will not find buyers and even if you find buyers your withdrawal fee will be more. There are some arbitrage sites which are fooling people to buy their package which is waste of money and time. I will create a post in regards to this shortly.

1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest need suggestions on: October 01, 2023, 09:30:31 PM
Stop spamming this forum and I would urge everyone not to invest in this scam project which has adopted this cheap marketing tactics and I am going to report this post as we have a similar post boasting about their so called 97.25 ETH stuff. Isn't it a coincidence that you created your profile just for this marketing purpose? I have ready dozens of posts in regards to this Bubble bot project and all of them from newbie. It's not as easy as 2017/2018 to trap investors for scam pump and dump projects.

Kindly refer to one more post in regards to this project with similar content and report it too:

1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Few reasons why people are hesitant to buy or HODL bitcoin/Crypto on: October 01, 2023, 07:02:27 PM
Here are some of the challenges restricting users from buying and hodling bitcoin:

1. Restrictions from the government and regulators who keep on threatening that they may ban bitcoin or crypto in general anytime, imposing an unjustly ridiculous tax on trading and withdrawal literally leaving us with loss even if we make a profitable trade. What if a situation arises wherein we cannot withdraw even if the value of bitcoin increases as it will be of no use.

2. We need to earn a lot before hodling as most of the users in this forum are joining campaigns where the payment is not even guaranteed especially bounty campaigns so I hope you understand the financial situation of people which is due to unequal wealth distribution created by corrupt government and this can be broken when people start earning more through various source of freelancing instead of 9 AM -6 PM job which has made them slave and only once a person has a good amount of at least $100-$200 (this might be little for us but for people from certain geo region this is way more) they can invest and hodl or trade.

3. We need to buy in dip or at the peak of a bearish market if we want to buy and hodl for at least a few years, we can take the example of people who bought at the peak of bull run during end of 2017 and had to wait till the end of 2020 to meet break even and gain profit but many end up selling due to panic and fuds, we need proper channels to educate users to avoid panic selling and build a strong community as a lot of negativity was spread during last bear market which distanced many from crypto.

Feel free to share your opinion on how we can fix this.
1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: September 30, 2023, 07:43:52 PM
I just wish everyone who enters the world of trading have similar point of view because people just jump into trading without much knowledge as if it's a cash cow as trading can be profitable with proper analysis and patience but if you do it randomly then it can send you into depression once your funds are struck as it has happened with me in the past because you will be glued to the graphs especially in case of futures trading. It's better to know the basics first and have a SOP or plan about entry and exit points before getting into it.
1635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: September 29, 2023, 10:21:02 PM
I am afraid this might lead to disappointment as we will only see a temporary pump as everyone has a misconception that price will skyrocket post halving or even before halving due to which there would be from demand in the market due to FOMO but we need to understand one thing that Bitcoin is not dependent on halving for its growth rather it just play a minor role.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bubble bot secures 97.25ETH in private presale on: September 29, 2023, 08:00:02 PM
How many more overhyped adverts will we see in this forum from Bubble Bot? This is an old school trick which we have seen earlier and after all it's a mere 97.25 ETH which can be contributed by the dev team themselves for purpose of marketing I think it's one more pump and dump coin which will either dump once it's launched or will not even reach the exchange.  I can name dozens of such shit coins who have boasted about the pre sale numbers and dumped everything on the day of launch itself in a third grade exchange.
1637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NANO and TRON Crypto - Free Transfers - Near Instant - Time To Buy on: September 28, 2023, 07:27:03 PM
To be honest, I see not so much point in using TRX at all. There is almost no projects on its blockchain and its only benefit is that significant amount of USDT is allocated there. That happened only because previously it was the only way of sending stablecoins with a low transaction fee. Now we got lots of decent blockchains where we can use USDT along with many other coins and send them into some DeFi protocols. Therefore, even the USDT allocation on TRX is declining and the coin is loosing its main benefit.

To be honest this coin TRX never lived up to its potential and lost its objectives and rather ended up as a mere transfer medium due to its very minimal transaction fee and fast transactions. It cannot forever survive just as a mode of transfer as dev team has already given up and has not worked towards any further development I don't think TRX has any future, as you mentioned with emergence of new coins allocation of USDT will be reduced to great extend.
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's GAS increase. on: September 27, 2023, 08:25:10 PM
I just checked Ethereum network gas 15 Gwei now. I did a transaction on this network last Friday. At that time the Ethereum network gas was 9 Gwei. I did a transaction a few days ago when the gas was 6 Gwei. I have not seen gas 72 Gwei of this network recently. But if the gas increased for some reason, I don't think it stayed long.
Yes gas fee was increases just for sometime because of the reasons concluded by OP. Now GWEI is become normal and the time I am checking now is 30 Gwei now. I usually use layer 2 networks to get avoid from high fee but sometimes coins only available in Ethereum network then There is no way except to bears the high fee burden of Ethereum network. People was thinking that fee issue will be solved once ETH succefully migrated to POS but still high fee issue is not solved. Many projects are migrating to other layer 2 networks. If base network succeeded then most of big project will migrate and fee issue will be solved.

This has been a pain for such a long time because I have been in terrible situations in the past when I needed to withdraw and the gas price was very high, i understand it doesn't remain high throughout the year but it should have been fixed long time ago at the time of migration to POS, but unfortunately it's still a major issue which drives away the users and if this continues then people will opt for other options which are available in the market rather that paying exorbitant gas fees.
1639  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Get paid in BTC | Full members+ on: September 25, 2023, 09:26:43 PM
Installation:
Installation was really easy and user-friendly as anyone can do this without any hassle, post which I imported my account using private keys as I had my account created through the Android application. I have selected my favorite Classic Dark theme. There was a crisp introduction to the beginner's guide.

Memory & System Usage:
It was slightly more than what I expected as downloading it consumed roughly 260 MB and on average use it occupies over 600 MB which is a little higher.

Key Features:

1. uWallet:
2. uMail:
3. IM/Chats:
4. Channels:

1. uWallet:
uWallet is one of the most important features of this ecosystem as it enables us to send/receive CRP & uUSD as well as swap between CRP & uUSD.

First Swap:
Initially I tried swapping 1 CRP for 0.38 uUSD and I just lost 1 CRP as it was deducted but I never received that 0.38 uUSD and I am trying to figure out what went wrong.

Second Swap (CRP to uUSD):
I swapped 3.99 CRP for 1.58 uUSD and this time it was a better experience but it took around 5 seconds which is still considered as lag, especially in SWAP feature

Third Swap (uUSD to CRP):
This was real quick in the blink of an eye, I swapped 1.57 uUSD to 3.48 CRP and this was lightning speed and it has to be the same way for CRP to uUSD as well.

Send Cryptons/uUSD:
At the moment it seems like you can send uUSD/CRP either by mentioning tyhe receipient's public key manually by copy pasting it or else by uploading the file where it's saved or by selecting them from the address book if you have saved their contact. It's a very simple and seamless user-friendly process.

Get Cryptons/uUSD:
Once you click on get cryptons or uUSD it redirects you to the crypton exchange https://crp.is/exchange/uusd_usdt or https://crp.is/exchange/crp_usdt based on your selection from where you can buy CRP or uUSD and it's just like any other exchange.

Crypto card:
This is my favorite feature and it costs only 3 CRP to create the crypto card in the future once CRP is adopted and accepted by more stores or businesses it would be a very helpful thing just like credit/debit cards or pay-as-you-go.

uVoucher:
Really a cool feature wherein you can share it as a gift to your peers, friends and family members through various modes like chat, uMail, and channels. They have really simplified his process of creating an uVoucher as it hardly takes a few seconds. Also, the recipient will not be able to see your personal details including the public key.

2. uMail:
You cannot differentiate much between uMail and other email services as uMail is just like Gmail/outlook it has most of the features for email communication and it has all the features available in other mailboxes but I couldn't find the option to change the font style or size. This has to be looked into.

3. IM/Chats:
The chat feature is similar to Skype as I couldn't explore this much since I have not added anyone to my address book rather I tried AI chat to check it's functionality and it was responding reasonably instead of throwing up any random information. IM/Chat is a must-have feature especially when our privacy is protected.

4. Channels:
You have numerous channels to explore and ask questions, share your thoughts and opinions but you cannot DM any other participant through the Channel unless they are in your contact list which makes it a little odd but at the same time it will help in avoiding spammers and telegram kind of situation.

5. Idyll Browser:
When I tried searching for anything it showed an error stating "Idyll having trouble finding that name.". It seems to be an issue with the browser or some temporary issue that has to be fixed in order to explore it.

Conclusion:
This is a wonderful project and it provides the most important features like a wallet, exchange, browser, chat, mailbox, crypto card & voucher in one place surely this would be a game-changer. There are some aspects where dev has to improve like latency during CRP to uUSD swap and show password security protocol as mentioned by other users. I have only reviewed the features which a layman will be using without going deep into technical analysis and hope this helps.
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gives the poor an Opportunity. on: September 24, 2023, 07:07:53 PM
We need to first understand that Bitcoin was not created as an investment scheme rather a decentralised mode of current where you can hold asset and transfer it without any involvement of government or financial institution but since it has changed as an investment scheme and people rarely use bitcoin as a mode to transfer funds due to various reasons like speed, transaction fee and all it has been completely look at as any other investments like stocks and I don't agree with your opinion as poor will still not have money to invest into Bitcoin and incase of they invest and run into bear market then they have to wait for years to get it back or else simple sell it at loss. Poor and investment angle doesn't sync in Bitcoin or any other crypto.
