I think Chelsea will beat Fulham.  They added important names to their squad during the interim transfer period and they want to get good results in the remaining matches of the season so that they are hopeful for next year, if not for the championship.  In the previous match, Joao Felix's red card disrupted Chelsea's game plan.  I'm sure they will play a game they can win in this match.

If not that Felix has been suspended for 3 matches, this could have been a perfect time to get back at Fulham after getting a red card for his mistake, however, he will definitely miss this one again till next week but they should be able to do win Fulham with there recent squad addition, they have spent more 300 million, more than was 15x of what was spent on Laliga to signed 8 good players, they should utilize that resources in a good way, they will see the intense result and shift from the table, Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez hype should be worth all this attention they have drawn from the public, 10th place isn't something they should be sitting with anymore.

The important challenge of arsenal is meeting up with Manchester City, I suppose it is a nightmare to arsenal. If arsenal can succeed in defeating Manchester City they have accomplished one of the biggest job for the season to reap what they want. Arsenal are aware it is only Manchester City that can give up them from prevailing the league. After Manchester City and arsenal match it will be handy to predict which path EPL is going to, if it is for arsenal or not.

For some reason, I think there is some loss that one shouldn't over think and that's how I feel about the vibe of Arsenal and Manchester City, however, it will be an advantage for Arsenal if they win at least in the home or away match, it will give them that big margin between them and Manchester City but if they lose both home and way, it will slow them down and the chances of winning Premier League but if they roar and win other teams, nothin spoil for Arsenal. If Arsenal could just do this, they will win EPL and would be fear in their future matches.
1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 01, 2023, 11:27:41 AM
Its seems postponed match between Real Betis vs Barcelona are matchday 17, looking on odd given seems excited because above @1.70 are bigger for Barcelona have consistency performance in this season. Are Robert Lewandowski have finished with his punishment for five matches in La Liga? I think if Lewandowski back to starting eleven having potential for Barcelona winning more than one goal.

Last three matches in La Liga Barcelona faced difficulty how scoring more than one goals although success with unbeaten record but winning with one goals seems not productive with attacking line after leaving by Lewandowski due punishment received.

The match should have been played a long time ago, but other leagues and circumstances prevented it. Nevertheless, I somehow have a strong feeling that they will want to defeat Barcelona or draw with them because the last time they faced off in the Spanish Super Cup, Betis drew Barcelona into a penalty shootout before losing to Barcelona, and now that they are playing this game at Estadio, they would want to play a defensive match with strategic opposition.

While Betis and Villareal both have the same number of points and won their last match against Getafe, I anticipate them to struggle in this game with a double opportunity because sometimes the games we don't take seriously turn out unexpectedly. This is what I hope will happen with Real Betis.

Your thread explains the usual phrase when people say an Idle mind is just a devil's workshop. There is nothing that scares me like boredom, it gives you room to think deeply and that's when you start thinking unnecessary kinds of stuff, and before you blink an eye, gambling thoughts come in and the bad side of it is that you don't care if it crosses your monthly gambling budget.

I have a rule and I stick to it, I know some games and matches could be tempting to wager an amount but once I know I don't have any money from my gambling budget, I don't stake a kobo(cent) on any game and when I'm lonely, I switch to sports event or channels to entertain myself to avoid unnecessary loss or matches I didn't plan for in the first place.
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: February 01, 2023, 07:49:23 AM
Do you think it makes sense if a crypto gambling platform only accepts it's own token for gambling and gambling on it's platform? If the games they offer are one-of-a-kind, new, and addictive wouldn't this make the gambling token very valuable? I am asking on behalf of a friend who wants to build his own crypto gambling project on the blockchain. Will this work? Will this fail? What's your take on this?

It doesn't make sense to me for a casino to only accept only its own token, I mean what is the use of Bitcoin and other used coins and tokens? The Casinos I have seen around usually don't do this, they will rather create a token for their casino as a utility and also make some important features for users and players who hold their tokens, and this, directly and indirectly, creates demand for their tokens. The casino can also choose to allow some discount wager in some games when a player owned their token, this will create demand for the tokens, even the centralized exchange does something similar but they don't reject other coins and tokens.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid will beat Liverpool, perhaps even in two games. Liverpool are a completely different team now than the one Real played in the final a year ago. Liverpool are performing very badly in England and Klopp cannot do anything about it. I also think the club management will be thinking about changing the coach soon.
The performance of Liverpool in EPL has become the main measurement for people to determine that whether Liverpool has a chance to win against real madrid or not. Real madrid's performance is far better compared with Liverpool in term of consistency of club in the their own local league. Liverpool is struggling with its performance even though some new players have been joining with the club. Jurgen Klopp may be sacked once Liverpool will still get bad results in EPL. Madrid is also having the same problem as Liverpool but it's not as bad as Liverpool which was still in the middle of standing in EPL now.

There is something other people have been discussing and also ignoring at the same time, Liverpool has been out of the trend line and their performance is nothing to speak about but what if? It is difficult to say that Liverpool may be welcome in the top 4 in the Premier League due to their inability to win important matches and earn 3 points in multiples but what if they turn up in the Champions League? They equally know that they have lost important leagues like FA Cup, and Carabao Cup but since they know that their only remaining chance is only Champions League, they may as well want to beat Madrid, it is even likely because I'm not too satisfied with their performances lately.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 30, 2023, 02:31:43 PM
Liverpool's position is not good now. They are also dropping points against weaker teams in the Premier League. Still they have a strong squad and strong attack. Liverpool is capable of fighting against big teams. However, considering the current performances of the two teams, Real Madrid will be ahead. Coach Ancelotti is very experienced. He knows very well how to strategize matches in a competitive league like the Champions League.
Liverpool as a club needs a total overhauling. I learned that they will soon get a new owner. It is only right that they also acquire needs players who are willing to put in the effort to see that they get back to
their glory days. Maybe they should buy back Mane. They sort of lost their confidence since he left. I would want to see him back in the team. If they can do this,
we are definitely going to see team with the chances of winning the league next season and even more.

Football transfer doesn't work that way, and even at that, I believe Ronaldo should have been a lesson to other great players. Liverpool wasn't ready to increase his wages but Bayern increases way more than what he was requesting from Liverpool and now he is enjoying Bundesliga if weren't for his injury but he is coming back very soon. If they want him at all cost, it will only be bad business for Liverpool because Bayern Munich aren't fool too, they will increase the asking price also.

They actually need Mane but they can opt in for other options, most of the work Salah is doing right now is combined work of Mane and his own that's why man is finding it so hard to shine, they should patch it up to get back on their feet.
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 30, 2023, 02:08:26 PM
Statistically, the two teams are almost equal, but it seems that Real Sociedad's defense in this match is so strong, it can be seen from the shoots on target that Real Madrid is superior by 7 times, then the ball possession is 61%, of course, the entire match is completely controlled by Los Blancos. But in this match, what we have to appreciate is Real Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro, who managed to make 7 saves, as a result, until the final minute, the score was a goalless draw for the two teams. With this, Real Madrid is increasingly behind Barcelona by 5 points in the standings, a season that was quite difficult for Carlo Ancelotti and his players.

I do not fully agree with some explanations, first Real Sociedad played roughly because they were afraid of Real Madrid, so their poor challenge bagged them 4 yellow cards, none of them was excluded, the goalkeeper, the defender, the midfielder, and the winger all received a Yellow card in that match and if not for Remiro's efforts for his countless saves, Real Sociedad would have conceded at least 2 goals yesterday.

I'm not so happy with the gap Barcelona has given Real Madrid, if they flip through, it might become a problem to overcome, they have lost a game out of their last 5 matches that could have helped them as a catalyst to get to Barcelona and now another mistake from Ancelotti for thinking their last formation against Atletico Madrid will work against Sociedad but ended up as a draw, they need to do better.
1629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 30, 2023, 01:51:17 PM
Liverpool has a lot of star players in their squad. Since they are not performing well despite having many experienced players, it can be assumed that it is the failure of the coach. Coach Klopp is unable to stabilize the team. And the important thing is that Liverpool's match strategy is not stable. The bond between the players is now weak due to lack of match strategy. In this case, if Klopp cannot stabilize the team and Liverpool's performance is not regular then Liverpool management may decide to sack Klopp.

There was the same coach last year and there was Liverpool who chased the championship until the last week.  What could have changed in 1 year?  I see a Liverpool that can't keep up with the changes tactically.  There is also the Nunez error.  He had a number of lines that worked together with Mane.  They were at a high level offensively.  Now Nunez is taking the team backwards rather than forwards.

There is a limit to what coaches can do, they can only teach from their experience but cannot change the situations of the match like when a player has a red card or yellow card due to poor challenge, when a player got an injury, what the team can do is totally out of his control even when they walk linearly along the pitch, we should stop all this lame blame on managers and coach.

Liverpool's match against Brighton was below average, Brighton outshined them, the way Salah was running yesterday proves what Klopp said that Mane's absence from the squad has affected Salah this season, the new signee Gapko played well though, maybe we will soon see their impact very soon but to be sincere, Liverpool is clearly not on form right now.
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 29, 2023, 10:28:29 PM
In the past 3 seasons in the premier league, there have been many schedule upsets, such as the world cup and the pandemic break. Many players were affected by this and the results at the end of the season were affected as well. Do you think the upset would result in reasonable decisions and a change in football and the performance of the players if it continues?

There are events that are unavoidable, we couldn't control the Pandemic but even at that, they schedule Premier League matches, only the fans weren't allowed to come to the pitch to come watch, and the death of the queen also made them suspended Premier League for two weeks matches in respect and honor to the queen, the World Cup is also events that the world and Football federation all want to see happened, some of these things are unavoidable but we must move on; on the aspect of World Cup, all the players who went to play were all paid, I don't think there is any negative effect by representing your country.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hit And Run Gambling - Can The House Be Beaten This way? on: January 29, 2023, 10:12:14 PM
Hi gamblers, it's a simple question I want to ask...

Remember it is said that, in gambling, the house always wins, I Want us to look at this two scenarios and tell if this are not actually a way to win/beat the house..

Imagine yourself as a new gambler who just joined a casino, played a few dollars and with luck on your side, you win money running into thousands of dollars, will withdrawing your money plus winnings from that casino, never to return there to play again, mean you have beaten that casino?

Secondly, imagine that on your first day of gambling, you gambled $200 and in the process, won money running into hundreds of thousands of dollars, you withdraw the money and start up your own business, and never returned to gambling again, isn't this one way to beat the house?

When you win a bet, you are part of the percentage that won that bet, and more so, there are set of people who lost in that duration, it could be a loss to the house but they do recover from those losses within some period, no matter how big you won from a casino, there are hundreds and thousands who will lose a huge amount in that casino depending on how large is the player base of that casino.

Gambling has a way of making you want to come back, especially when you notice an opportunity and feel like risking it in the hopes that it would be a good day. I find myself in that scenario occasionally; I see some good matches that I think I could bet on whenever I attempt to take a vacation from gambling, but the urge to test it out won't let me rest, and before I realize it, I've lost some money. I believe it is natural for gamblers to feel the want to return, but establishing a limit to stop when you realize you are losing is the best option.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 29, 2023, 07:41:17 PM
It's interesting if we look at their last matches in the domestic league (in 3 matches) these two clubs can be said to have decreased, 2 defeats for Paris Saint Germain and 3 draws for Bayern Munich. With their performances declining like that, it becomes more difficult for us to determine who is the favourite, because they decreased simultaneously. In the end, we still have to see their first leg match to get an idea of how they will play in the second leg later. Time is running out for us to really be in that game.

You know that domestic leagues gives rooms and chances while after the group stage, Champions League only give room for just home and away after the group stage which after an aggregate will determine the next move of a team. Also, some of the domestic league are just withing a particular region while Champions League combined top leagues together to challenge each other. I believe when the league resume by February 14, we are going to see changes in the way this teams play and also some players who are still in injury from domestic leagues should be back on therir fit especially Bayern who have gave Mane a long break to get on his feet.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 29, 2023, 07:20:12 PM
Atletico Madrid got a clean win, these are the wins they need, they should not make any mistakes in these matches and they are doing well for now. Even though there was a 1-0 difference today, Atletico Madrid did not play a closed game, they constantly spread the game and made Osasuna feel the pressure. He started to create a lot of goals in Griezzman, it was a good try when he came close a few times.

Atletico was clearly defending from beginning of the first half with the little attack but they have to sacrifice their defense by playing a little bit of defecne and attack in the second half and they make used of that opportunity. Osasuna enjoyed the match perhaps because it is their home but they gave Atletico some good pressure and lessons even when history says they always loose to Atletico. Atletico Madrid manage to slip through a goal at the second half and never gave Osasuna a chance to equalize.

Atletico Madrid are getting closer to the top standing on the table but it always seem that the more they approach the big guys on the top four, they always lose to them on most of the matches against them, they should do more bids on midfielders to strengthen their defence before the january transfer closes.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 29, 2023, 07:01:41 PM
This is match is like a make or break for Potter and his boys. Should he fails to win this his job might be on the line. Looking at Chelsea’s last two matches and how they performed, with the rhythm the new signings will bring Chelsea might win this match. But with Fulham on an excellent form this season with their sight set on European football this match will give them the opportunity to steal a point from there competitors. It is going to be an interesting match

Ever since Chelsea utilized their new signees, I think they have improved in Premier League for the past 2 weeks, they have not lost a single match, and looking at Fulham, they have lost two matches in a row which signifies that they are getting weak or something is actually wrong somewhere. If Chelsea should move on that momentum, they would conquer Fulham with a clean sheet.

Two giants west and north east London clubs (Chelsea and Liverpool) are both aligning with each other, I'm skeptical to see who will leave their comfort zone first, they both share the same number of won matches, and the same draws but a difference in loss. They have both signed new players, they should improve no matter what in their upcoming matches.

1636  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: January 27, 2023, 08:26:31 PM
I will continue to rent until I become financial stable, and I wouldn't advise you to take a loan to purchase a house, you know why, it will destabilize you in the future, buying a house or building a house without been financial okay would not only put you in trouble, you will likely sell them in the future because that house will need maintenance like toilet facilities changes, you may need to change the roof if you live in a hot temperate region, normal use maintenance which may be difficult for you to do if you buy your house on loan, you will be only concerned to pay back the loan and at the end of the day, you will living in old house without any achievement. Think it through before you carry any loan.
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: In your country, today is money the real root of all evil? on: January 27, 2023, 08:05:07 PM
Money is the root of all evil at this century? Give me all those money, I have the super power that quench those evils away  Grin

On a serious note, that clause is an adage that describe the level people go to look for money and the peer pressure from the society has made it  worse. I will use my environment as an example, an average boy that is supposed to be concentrating his head on college and how to graduate with a first class or second class upper division is worried that his clan are already making it, bought cars and houses but he hasn't made any and meanwhile he doesn't know what they do for a living and before you know, he has indulge into cyber crime, this is how money becomes the root of evil.

Money makes people to do evil because they want to earn it legally or illegally, people who don't have access to money may decide to kidnapp, rob a bank, steal from people, these are the various ways people do bad things to get money which are all evil things to consider.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will lead the world's current market on: January 27, 2023, 07:48:24 PM
We know the US dollar is the world-accepted banknote and can be used as a medium of trade.  In the crypto world, Bitcoin is the most popular and the highest-received currency with incredible value. Different nations have authorized bitcoin for transactions and multiple of them are sentiments. Its approval is slowly expanding day by day. Do you think bitcoin will be the commander of the world’s currency market like the US dollar in destiny?

Bitcoin is acceptable worldwide because it is borderless, and resistant to censorship but the big guys who control the traditional financial market will not allow it to prevail the way it will naturally spread if they don't use their power to suppress it. However, power fade with time, those who think they control it now will some how lose their energy and opportunity for bitcoin will open, that's when you will here that Mr.A has 10 bitcoin worth billions of dollars. The world revolve and the people you think today that controls this traditional finance will become insignificant tomorrow, bitcoin will lead but we should accept it that no matter how valuable bitcoin is, not everyone will like it, that's the reality of life.
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 26, 2023, 11:06:45 PM
Please don't let my question cause so much hate on me but rather let's also be realistic at times.
Though I haven't invested a reasonable sum in Bitcoin, I've at some point after watching how the market and price of Bitcoin fell from over $60k to less than $12k something similar to what altcoins do and it prompted some questions like
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?

It will be if this questions are answered without sentiment as I'm open to learn.

There were time when bitcoin hasn’t gotten to this stage, people were saying all sort of things that bitcoin will go to zero but it never did and now that it has become 20 more bigger than the previous times, the probability of it going to zero should have impossible by 20 times, bitcoin is not going to zero, the demands would will consume all the supply because the liquidity around lower levels wouldn’t even let come close to $5k and besides, the OGs are watching, they wouldn’t allow their investment becomes wash away.

Your second question have been justified by my first answer but incase it happens, then Fiat would probably may also not be in existence, perhaps the world would have change the way from the way financial markets works, probably a new system.
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My step to promote bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 10:53:50 PM
I see how many people are trying to promote bitcoins in their own way, I am moved and decided that this year, I will play my part in the most little way possible even if I am still a new member here and to bitcoins.

It took me some time to be able to think of something that I could do that will not cost me too much money since I do not have so much of that, and also something that will not require me to talk to people directly because I can get shy.

I decided to get stickers that I intend to distribute among transporters to put in their vehicles and tricycles, and also to put them in places that people can easily see.

I will appreciate someone help preview the post so my stickers can be seen.

I like your creativity of a way of making awareness to people who are yet to understand bitcoin at all but don’t you you think “Financial freedom” phrase need detail explanation, the transport vehicle owners may decide to hang the stickers on their motorbikes and vehicles but they wouldn’t be able to explain it for the passengers especially the conductors who can’t explain to the literates ones.

I suggest you add two line of sentences about bitcoin in small fonts describing what bitcoins is all about, you can pick interesting words from bitcoin white paper and explain them in your own way that people will understand very easily and comprehend without stress.
