1621  Other / Beginners & Help / Only one out of Fifty on: December 17, 2022, 01:22:48 PM
Why are some people buying low cap altcoins hoping that they will be rich by 2025? Someone texted me some altcoins she is buying for 2025 and it's full of gimmick projects, they hardly have any good volume on exchanges, all I can see is the range of 2000$ volume per day to 50,000$ per day .

I asked her why these set of coins and tokens she said it's the only way to get rich in the next bull market.

Do not buy coins because their value is cheap and market cap is low, this is plain stupidity, you are just throwing away your money because the next big altcoins by 2025 are probably not released yet, if you are doing this you need to stop.

Out of fifty projects only one survives in such a plan, 99% of them will die and all your bags might not even contain the one that will survive. You end up wasting your money and time. Be smart.

We need a trigger mechanism so that bull run can back healthy. But people are scared and getting flustered with the recent events that occured. Like the war, covid19, recession and high inflations. Of course everybody will be at panic mode but it doesnt mean the market will stay like this. We all knew that there will be certain time that bull run will come back and predicting this will be super hard even for experts on market analytics.
People are scared but when the next halving is near they will summon their courage, I was thinking like you did in 2018 that's why I failed to take good advantage of the 2021 bull market, the whole fear vibes from covid and the recession makes me believe that I will be hard to see good money entering the space again, I was wrong all along.

Right now greyscales are about to dump their bags too, it's all intentional because they plan to buy back for cheaper rate, it's a stealing from the people kinda trick and it works every time.
1623  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facts not feelings on: December 17, 2022, 09:31:34 AM
How people feel about you or your opinion on this forum must not get to you in any way, so far you aren't breaking any rules never stop being yourself.

I got criticism too, the last one I remember was when I got married and the hotel was bugged, I dropped that post with my feelings and pure facts warning people about lodging in hotels when traveling but some people still say something else, some said its not real.

Don't let anyone get the best of you with their ideas, thoughts and opinions, never stop being who you are.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 17, 2022, 07:43:03 AM
The reason why are agent seeing betting platforms with PvP only games is because the money it will generate will be way lower to none, if you bet with someone for a fighting game all the money goes to the winner not the platform owner.

The platform will only be a middle man and their income will be less, this is not like exchange platforms that make money off withdrawal fee and trading. Think about it.

Play-to-earn games have a good shot because they have tokens, see where I am coming from? tokens mean money.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of finance belongs to open source on: December 17, 2022, 06:40:56 AM
One thing that is surprising to me is that we haven't seen more open source software in crypto. It seems as if the two paths of open source software and crypto development are aligned in ways which could be mutually beneficial.

Most of crypto is open source though? It's just the fact that even if the huge majority of crypto are open source, 99% are still theoretically crap and useless.

Open source means too much plagiarism, means a lot is worthless. The core of the source code still has strong privacy, and many of them have left backdoors for their own project parties. Of course, open source code is also an important marketing method, in order to get more silly users. Behind the project is a sharp guillotine
I think you need to learn more about open source, it's pure transparency, how can a project be open source and still have a backdoor? And no one sees the back door? What's the open source then?

Open-source projects have nothing to hide, you can easily see all their codes and what they are running, with no hide-and-seek like Closed source, what you just defined sounds exactly like Closed source projects.

The USA is the leader of world. If USA ban Bitcoin, other governments will join and ban Bitcoin too.

Very lucky, very minority of USA senators want to ban Bitcoin. Most of them support Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and want to legislate it better.

They want more legislation, they want more tax from Bitfoin and cryptocurrency.

They don't want to ban it and we know as a rule of thumbs, if majority of senators don't want to ban it, no ban after all.

Senate FTX hearing: calls for regulation and crypto criticisms aplenty

Quote
“The 2008 financial crisis involved obvious misuse of products related to mortgages — did we decide to ban mortgages?” said Toomey. “With FTX, the product is not the instruments that were used, the problem was the misuse of customer funds, gross mismanagement, and likely illegal behavior.”

The senator added:

“Some of my colleagues have suggested somehow pausing cryptocurrency before we pass legislation. This is a profoundly misguided not to mention impossible idea. Short of enacting draconian authoritarian policies, cryptocurrency cannot be stopped.”
Very lucky? What will happen to countries that based on Bitcoin like El Salvador? If some countries ban Bitcoin that doesn't mean every other countries will join, I am 100% sure that some countries will see crypto as a big opportunity and those who ban crypto will have no choice but to lift the ban, this have happened too many times years ago.
1627  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What are the top ASIC chip manufactures? on: December 16, 2022, 10:42:08 AM
I just wanted to say I really like Avalon machines. Honestly compared to bitmain, Canaan make the better machine from someone that works on these machines.  I really like how each chip has its own temp sensor, Also to remove a fan you dont have to pop the top off which is super nice.
here is the avalon 1246 96T, check it out: https://shop.canaan.io/products/canaan-avalon-miner-a1246-96t?VariantsId=10001   Grin

Is this the official Canaan website? Because their 76% off offer is too tempting for a 96Terahash Asic miner, can anyone confirm this is real? Some kind of Xmas bonanza or fake?

Anyone should please confirm and drop a reply, I am still buying Asic miners right now.

This is crazy, Bitcoin group buying a Fiat bank? It doesn't make sense to me, what are you expecting from this move OP? I don't believe that a local bank can go decentralized, Bitcoin group don't understand the real reason why Bitcoin come into existence it seems.

This is nothing but a waste of money and misuse of power from the group

Finally SBF is in jail and I am happy about it but Iets not forget about those that are not in jail like the 3AC founders, voyager and that Do Kwon of LUna himself, all eyes are on SBF and FTX right now and these others are praying they should be forgotten so they can enjoy the stolen cash someday, wherever they keep the remains. I hope they all face the Law someday too..

The lesson here is I believe SBF faced this justice because he stole from other rich people, imagine if those money are from lesser people it would have turn into a past history .

Newbies it is time to put an end to all Centralised finance in crypto space and shift your attention to Dex, they always have their hidden agendas, keep your crypto assets off the hands of any CeFi platforms, these people are the ones dragging crypto success back.
1630  Other / Beginners & Help / BTC will always prevail on: December 16, 2022, 06:20:33 AM
I have heard on this forum that BTC can be stopped if the government want to, my question is how? I read on news that Canada's CBDC is almost complete and as for the CBDC why did the government create theirs? I think that's the only option left for them, to join the train.

I think BTC is too lucrative, and the tech is still in an early stage and all the govt can do is find a way to be in control.
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: December 14, 2022, 12:14:33 PM
You said Fiat is bullshit but you need it to build properties 🤦

Just listen to yourself mate, if money doesn't make sense to you then avoid doing anything with money, I wonder what you can do without Fiat, Crypto is just making the whole thing decentralized and digital.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much initial startup to Start Cryptocurrency Casino? on: December 14, 2022, 07:46:22 AM
The fund to start a casino isn't the problem, if you have no past experience about how to run a gambling platform you will end up shooting yourself on the foot.

Asking this question shows that you have no past experience, it's better to start one before starting your own gambling platform or face a very shameful consequence.

Do you know that you have to keep your online casino secured too? Hackers will come knocking so that's another thing to think about.
1633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Keep your money off exchange, in this crisis moments hold Bitcoin for safety on: December 14, 2022, 05:55:07 AM
Recent events in the cryptocurrency market have forced a lot of cryptocurrency investors and traders to start moving their funds off-exchange most especially centralized exchanges.
Trust wallet is owned binance, if I use binance and there is crisis in binance, I decide to send my coins to my trust wallet still owned by binance, allow me ask please if it can it be trusted?
Do this if you aren't satisfied

Import your trust wallet recovery seed into another wallet, your assets will still be present, that's what it feels like to use a trusted crypto wallet like Trust wallet, even if Binance crumbled right now all funds on Trust wallet are safuu.
1634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips to Becoming a Successful Holder on: December 13, 2022, 04:24:29 PM
Right now I am still building crypto portfolios, not one but three on my mind and see what they will become in coming years, after I am done picking the pieces I will stop looking for more coins and zero my mind till I hear that BTC made a new all time high .

It's not a good practice to keep looking your portfolio here and there because this will have an impact on your disciplined self.

Also I already have my mind on 2025 minimum so yes this is a good plan I believe, I have been into crypto for a long time and I can say that mistake is the wisest teacher, I knew what's coming so I am more calmed right now than 2017, 2020.
1635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: December 13, 2022, 10:35:37 AM
1. Players don't like centralized gambling platforms where we have to go through KYC verification because we win high amount of money.

2. Do not claim to be Decntralized and ask for KYC, some online gambling platform lied about it.

3. I just like gambling with coins that have very low gas fee for example Tron, Litecoin, Dogecoin and others.

4. Do not add metaverse and web3 to your name because it has nothing to do with gambling and casinos, new gambling platforms do this to attract users but it's annoying.

All the best of Good luck .
1636  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: December 13, 2022, 07:58:38 AM
I respect your topic OP but I am sorry to say, this will never work because implementing crypto into school curriculum is like teaching people how to make money, meaning you have literally turn school to > no need to work for the government anymore.

Remember, the coldest truth about school is get your degree and serve the government, live on the government money and pay your debts, once crypto is into school you have set workers free from the hands of the government.

This is the last thing the government would want to see.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why still keep the money on phone? on: December 13, 2022, 06:04:07 AM
Tokens and altcoins have been stolen from me before but not Bitcoin, I've been using Electrum mobile wallet for a few years now, I believe it's more easier for hackers to hack your PC than that of a android phone, but still I won't recommend using an android phone to store your Bitcoin, hardware wallets are the best.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: SBF arrested in the Bahamas after U.S. files criminal charges on: December 13, 2022, 04:22:53 AM
Lol, I just posted about how SAM is an invincible man yesterday, saying maybe the government was benefiting from likes of him that's why they failed to have locked him up. This has proven the point invalid, what a good news, no one should be above the law in anyway, even if they are born of powerful families.
1639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: November 2022 worst month for cryptocurrency newbies here is lessons. on: December 12, 2022, 06:07:47 PM
It's not over yet, hours ago I read that Binance exchange might be the next because the exchange is currently on the investigation, I don't know why this is happening because Binance exchange looks like the most transparent of them all but i may be wrong.

I believe CZ and his team will get over this easily but many other exchanges will face the same as we go deep into this bear market, FTX might not be the end.
1640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: December 12, 2022, 04:57:16 PM
You are the only one that can decide.

As for me I will invest in crypto and still run a small business, the reason why we get tired of a bear market is because of the condition we are in while the bear market is active.

Many people invest more than they can afford to lose and when things look more uglier they start to freak out, invest what you can afford to lose and use the rest to run a business.
