1621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ALERT] BEWARE ABOUT PHISHING SITES on: July 18, 2023, 07:26:07 PM
Recently Arkham make a tweet about Pishing sites because they do a Airdrop to early users who join whitelist and their token is also listing on Binance Exchange in future.
With the so many phishing sites opened because of this project, it won't be wrong to conclude that it's a great project. So many scammers want to lash in on its utility and public demand for it to hoodwink investors. It's good that someone is vigilant enough to have pointed all that phishers (and many more) out. This is the simple reason people should ask for official links from those recommending projects to them and not just go to search engines to get them but themselves.
When a project comes to the Binance launchpad, there is already a lot of hype in the market about that project, and scammers use this hype every time to come up with fake/phishing websites to fool and scam crypto investors. So they didn't create a fake/phishing website because it is a solid project, they are actually trying to take advantage of the hype of binance launchpad. Because we have seen such activities in the past, scammers using the name of Binance launchpad tried to scam people.

https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/introducing-the-arkham-arkm-token-sale-on-binance-launchpad-6ad1921b56fb4b369f9cf3e4449e62e2

Truly projects with with big partnership  always attract scammers. I could remember vividly clear when the sui project launched, i began to  receive lots of tag via my social media handle and mails as well congratulating me and also encouraging me to claim my sui coin with a link they had prepared to hack my details via me clicking the link. I had to delete them all because i was very sure such could not happen at the instance as sui is already a well known project and as such, scammers would want to use it as a bait to get at unsuspecting individuals. Projects on binance launchpad are very big and therefore the possibility of scammers using it to scam people is very high.

Quote

Withdrawal fee 0.01 BTC

What a joke of an exchange

as if that's not enough

crypto_boursa Pvt Ltd is a company Incorporated in United Kingdom, and operates the website www.crypto_boursa.com and related mobile applications, an overall platform (hereinafter referred to as the 'Platform') dedicated to digital assets-only transaction and the provision of related services.

So the company is incorporated in the UK, but it has a number from Kuwait! "+965-50681181"

What a good catch! seems they are one of those scammers out there looking for people's hard-earned resources to make away with. It is nice all these are fast revealed so as to keep members in the know of their possible act in time. How can they say a low fee and be charging 0.01 btc that's an exorbitant fee from a self-claimed exchange and not to talk of the lie they have made public with respect to their location and registration. Were they trying to divert the attention of the public from their origin or what?

They started on the wrong note and if at all they have good intentions, they already shot themselves in the foot because of the silly mistakes they have committed.
1623  Economy / Digital goods / Re: NakamotoRoulette.com - Selling to highest bidder! on: July 18, 2023, 06:45:27 PM
It is sad to see this roulette being put up for sale. Sometimes it really could suck this way to find a lasting solution to pending issues at hand and you could not hold it back but put it up for sale. I was wondering what really happened if you could not do a good advertisement calling for investors to partner with the roulette and possibly you could get one rather than putting it up for sales because merely putting it up for sales, you have already made the community having some thoughts about it and maybe that might not be the real deal as they have such thoughts running on their mind.

A marketing campaign as you have mentioned would likely be the answer to your predicament currently and I believe that would ease some headaches and possibly attract much traffic to your roulette casino.
1624  Economy / Services / Re: 👉Bounty/Airdop/Signature And Others Campaign Service Available. [Hire me] on: July 18, 2023, 06:29:02 PM
You got a good logo but your announcement thread looks poor in general.  How can you be able to properly design a campaign thread with this you have uploaded here. If you look at other managers campaign thread and their service and portfolio announcement thread, you could deduce that it took them proper coordination to achieve what they have done and i was wondering as well you stated you have been promoting graphics designing and see how poor your service announcement thread looks.

You claim to have been managing campaign and experienced for six years, I believe you should have a portfolio and you did not list your previous jobs for us to see how good you are and links to the projects you have worked for. Nobody to vouch for you as to their satisfaction derived from the services you rendered to them.

I would advise you to edit this thread and update it with your portfolio. Possibly your previous jobs as that would be a good marketing and selling point for you OP.
1625  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 18, 2023, 06:10:23 PM
the customers are more apprehensive than we can imagine.

Are they? Reading this thread, seems if you pay someone to post on the forum (although he claims to not work there???), do advertising, do more advertising, POKER TOURNAMENTS, you're good to go. Disappear for a while, no big deal. And if they don't come back, no one's gonna be able to do anything anyway. Win win.
You raise a good argument but are definitely way off on facts and what actually happens. Betnomi is definitely not respecting their players, affiliates, promoters, or anyone else but disappearing. They did make a statement, so we just have to wait a little time. We don't know the whole story( they could help by telling the people whats up), but after a certain period tags will start flying. It's not as if they can disappear and reappear a year later and expect 0 repercussions.

The people that have money stuck on the platform(who aren't scammers) can create flags if they wish and try to get support. There are also scam accusations that can be made(show actual proof you're being scammed, not just complaints where you cheated and cannot get paid). Betnomi isn't getting a free pass, people are just waiting for an explanation.

It is obvious betnomi behaved this way. If they did make a statement, possibly the medium through which the message was passed across was not strong enough because from the response i have read here it seems many people were not aware of it and that shows that there was a strong communication gap between the betnomi team and their client which is not good. However be the case, the did has been done and i believe they are trying their possibly best to remedy the situation as people who's funds are stuck are running out of patience and possibly calling the casino a scam which i believe if the time frame elongates or elapses without any positive response from the team, it would be assumed they did all these intentionally and that would attract flags and more of scam accusations against them and if there is any one making any accusations, they would have to provide an evidence before they would be given the attention they desired.

You're down again, both versions - with clearnet showing the error "SSL handshake failed". Maybe you should first find reliable hosting + properly configure everything necessary and only then try to deal with this kind of business Wink

Hello, I know. Unforeseen events are normal when you start something. I am working on the web to improve the service and some parts will be unstable some days. Don't worry, it will be online again soon. Be patient please. Thanks.

1627  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn. on: July 17, 2023, 09:20:24 PM
I agreed with the op, a newbie is always a newbie, even he or she is experts in bitcoin, as they are joining the forum for the very first time they are newbies in the forum so they have to lie low to observe things to learn about the forum and contribute meaningful contributions from the knowledge they have from outside and not to render services to people to follow. Bitcoin is very deep that nobody knows all, everyone knows there areas of expert and not all areas.
If it is about forum, I agree that newbies shouldn't teach others because they actually have just started to know forum. When they teach others, they may lose their focus or share something they don't really understand. Other people can misunderstand it, or people got unproven knowledge. This is something too early to do by newbies.

Contributing on the forum can be varied, it is not only about the knowledge about forum. Newbies can share their experience on the other field (out side of forum), everyone must have their own experience to share with others. If it is about the experience on trading or investment, I still can trust newbies. Newbie accounts don't always mean newbie trader or newbie investor.

*I assume sharing isn't intended to teach others.

Well I must say this, most of these newbies are well to do in knowledge about this platform. I have seen many newbies here who really knows their ways around this platform and for the first time making posts at the right board which means that some also know the right board and tell me if a newbie could make just a first post on the right board, does this not tell you something?  Some newbies possibly are in the know how things works here, some are fast learner while some are otherwise.

From what I can see here the tag newbie limits them to sharing their experience no matter how vast they are in knowledge about the platform as long as you have the tag newbie you are limited and therefore you are assumed not to know much and would be advised to learn.
1628  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto Boursa (Brand New Exchange) on: July 17, 2023, 08:53:50 PM
OP you are welcome to this platform. I can see you have a good project but you know you are not the first in the system as there are lots of exchanges out there contending with each other to remain relevant In the space.  Just as adbitco has said, you would need to upgrade your account by registering a copper member account so as to enable you upload graphics of your exchange and another this board is it the right place for this post as this is an exchange related topic.

Nevertheless, for marketing, promoton and publicity, you will have to do a campaign here as your exchange have no strong publicity. Come to talk of it, you are new in the system so you would need guidance and I will advise you to seek a professional advice in the person of Royse777 for your promotional campaign here. He is vast and well experienced as a campaign manager. He has handled numerous successful projects onboard this platform.
1629  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ALERT] BEWARE ABOUT PHISHING SITES on: July 16, 2023, 05:00:16 PM
This is the most popular method of scammers creating phishing sites to link your wallet and steal your funds, if you're an investor or someone who's into airdrops or doing trading, bookmark the right websites, use an extension to ward off phishing sites and always be particular on the domain names scammers are good doing at cloning the sites and they confuse you with their domain names that look like the real one with additional characters or changing the small letter to capital letters.

Truly scammers are everywhere cloning websites making it look real and making people fall victim of their gimmicks thinking it is the genuine and real. Mostly newbies with little or no knowledge are the unsuspecting prey they would feast on whenever ever they fall fir their scam.
I think what you have said is a good recommendation that should be followed so as to avoid such from happening.  People should mostly look out for characters of letters when engaging online so as not to be confused from spotting the fave from the original.
1630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where should I play? Asking for recommendations. on: July 14, 2023, 11:17:25 PM
OP  I do not think you will get recommendation from anybody here because there are lots of casino here offering what you desire to play but you will have to see for yourself the one that best suites your desire well. If you are ok with the features of the casino here then you can choose from the numerous list available on the platform and by right you are not a new member just as cantsay have said and i am of the same opinion because if anyone do recommend for you and anything happens in the nearest future, you will  call the person out so it would be nice you go through the numerous list on the platform and make your choice.  You know where to see them.
1631  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ALERT] BEWARE ABOUT PHISHING SITES on: July 14, 2023, 09:57:35 PM
It is nice you did expose the nefarious act of this so called platform. Everyday scammers come up with many tactics and improved methods to scam people of their hard earned resources, creating a replica of the original to carrying out the wicked act.

Mostly newbies are prone to this scam as they know not and can not differentiate the fake from the original which is why all the phishing sites must be exposed. You have done well OP. Atleast members here can now see for themselves and know this website is not the genuine website they think it is.
1632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn. on: July 14, 2023, 06:09:44 PM
However, this does not mean that there are no professional newbies. Any newbie that is pro in bitcoin, trading, mining, altcoins etc are free to give advices or teach even on their first day. The community will appreciate

Yes you are right, and I think it is very easy to identify a newbie with lot's of experience in bitcoin and the other sections that you mentioned but regardless the person will still need some time to go through the forum unless he or she has been involved in a community like bitcointalk else I don't think the person will be able to teach the things that he knows very well for members to understand since it involves writing.

I also think it will appear suspicious to see an account that is a day old in the forum to teach things here especially on the bitcoin discussion board don't you think some members will think the person is an old member ho is trying to build a new alt account since such person has acquired so much knowledge? think about it.

I concur with your opinion mate. Most newbies are possibly more enlightened about bitcoin more than some members here and possibly some too have had experience as a result of their exposure to other platforms so they can easily have their ways on any platform they find themselves which is why most times when you see some newbie operate you would be wondering if that account is an alt account of a high rank member but in the real sense, it is not so.

Nevertheless, of lately I have seen many funny replies to some newbie on this particular board  which did not go down well with them. I was of the opinion same as yours OP that newbies be at calm wether they know or not as long as they have the tag newbies, it Is assumed that they do not know what's up with the platform and as such would be expected to learn how things works here so as not to be called to order. I think this has been the challenges facing newbies here.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 14, 2023, 05:43:07 PM
~snip
I’ll immediately answer the question posed in the title: because instead of using bitcoin for its intended purpose (as electronic money), people began to use it as an investment (after they saw what you can buy for 1$, conditionally, and after a while sell it for 10$). In theory, it can even be called price speculation.

The change bitcoin from electronic money to an investment instrument is, in a sense, an bitcoin evolution that even the creator didn't imagine, because, as you rightly noted, there is not a word about this in the whitepaper.

I don't think that in the early stages there were evil uncle-whales who bought bitcoin on purpose for manipulation. Most likely, everything happened chaotically and according to market relations between the owners / holders of bitcoin. Someone bought, someone sold, and so on in a circle. People who saw the potential of btc and believed in future opportunities bought it, and those who didn't understand it sold. This is how bitcoin moved from one pocket to another. Some accumulated, others lost. The same thing is happening now. No one is stopping you from becoming the BTC-whale, with the only caveat that now this requires huge amounts of investment.

I believe at the earliest stage of bitcoin inception there were lots of fud going about the space that bitcoin is this bitcoin is that do you not think it was such as a manipulative situation to cast doubt on holders making Dem sell at give away prices. Do you not think there were some people who saw the future ahead strategically positioned and comfortably controlling it with their orchestrated plans just as it is happening with fuds of lately as regards bitcoin price speculations and others which is affecting the market as a result of the rumor mongers. Have you not asked yourself why is it that when so so person talks or an institution does something, it positively or negatively affects the bitcoin market.

I  myself had a thought of all these questions and still arrived at the same answer. These whales control the market and does what ever they feel is ok by them to make more profits.
1634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it Advisable joining Bitcoin signal group? on: July 14, 2023, 05:26:07 PM
I don't think it's recommended, but if you need it why don't you join the community. there are many bitcoin signal community. but I personally look for free ones not paid ones because it's the same we still have to make our own decisions to go into buying or selling the btc that we have

Whether it's a paid signal group or not, most of those groups are just a total waste of time. Because even those who seem to be free signal groups don't publish full, good signals, they always have some Information to hide from you, and they will be asking you to subscribe to their VIP service before you can start receiving some few good, successful signals. Some times they can even show you some past successful trades that they have made, and they will ask you to pay for VIP so you can earn such a profit, and most times, even after you have paid, you will not get any better signal. The best thing is for one to practise on their own and learn to be more dependent on their trading decisions.

Cheers 🥂, Dr.Bitcoin_Strange 👺👺

What's the point demanding for fee when you too can trade with your signals to make huge amount of profit from it. Why hiding part of a signal which you are supposed to give out just because of fee so as to lure people to paying fee just to join VIP group. All these gimmicks are just to get at the newbies with no idea how they run their tricks. It is unfortunate that even after falling victim of such, some would still fall victim again for such.

After my first experience with this pump and dump shitcoin scam group, I made sure not to allow myself stay in any group I am added to without prior notice from whoever did that.

They are all scammers.
1635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 14, 2023, 04:40:27 PM
To the best of my knowledge based on the previous replies I have read here they disabled deposit and are working on their pending withdrawals which they have promised they would sort out and for the fact that they did not inform or made public announcement as regards their predicament, lies the issue they are currently facing with their clients. This has raised eyebrows towards their direction and possibly given room for names calling on their casino. That was a big mistake they had made.
^That is a wrong move.
Lack of communication and public announcement regarding their predicament has understandably caused frustration among their clients. It is unfortunate that their actions have led to criticism and name-calling directed at the casino. Transparency and clear communication are very important for maintaining trust in any business, especially in the realm of online gambling. While it is important to acknowledge the mistake they made in not promptly informing their clients about the situation, it is also not good to give them an opportunity to rectify the issue and address the concerns raised. I saw one of their promoter managers has been tagged and I think that is not good.

Transparency and communication is indeed the key to trust and  longevity in business when it has to do with organizations such as casinos and others that renders services of that nature. They really got it wrong at first trying to prevent their lapses from their clients forgetting that "internal wounds always finds it way out of the body for people to know".
Keeping the masses abreast of developments helps in easing the possible or potential  out burst as expected even if it occurs, it would not be that disasterous to cause havock in such organization as the case may be.
I have no doubt if truly their promoter manager gets a tag because nobody would be happy at such situations that your funds are being held by a casino which the public already beginning to accuse of exit scam.
1636  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Important information about the forum on: July 14, 2023, 04:23:47 PM
This is the problem with newbies on this forum. Instead of searching and finding it, they think it doesn't exist and we should create a thread and get some Merit(s).
Refrain yourself from doing these things. This forum is since a decade and the probability of it not having rules is zero to none. Instead, you thought not every rule is written and then you attached some post URLs.

Instead of copying those URLs, you could have made this post much better by quoting them here itself. Could have saved potential 3-4 clicks for everyone.

They barely just take their time to read through platform to see what is obtainable there. They assume and get themselves into trouble and when it dawns on them they start crying foul and appealing to be granted pardon which is not feasible. This platform have been existing for long so why would they not know that rules are obtainable here or they they think this is a lawless platform?
Lousiness and poor research is sometimes the issues being displayed here by most newbies and they care not about it.
1637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been scammed ? on: July 14, 2023, 03:03:25 PM
Hahahaha!
Very funny mate. You did justice to the topic. I have had such experience and I belong to number 7. Shitcoin rugpulled from a scam pump and dump group that suck mate. I got lots of scam shitcoin token stocked up in my wallet for years now during my early years as a newbie. Men I lost funds to those mess as I did not doy due diligence on the pump and dump shitcoin group. Although I learnt my lesson since then and never Will I make such mistake again.
1638  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IMPORTANT regarding BC.GAME! on: July 14, 2023, 02:47:12 PM
OP possibly must have done everything necessary to facilitate his or her KYC process by submitting the documents but I was wondering what must have prompted this delay in payment. Possibly OP might be from a restricted area of the case maybe but I can not conclude but assume and they should have been able to respond to OP instead of locking his account amd denying OP access to it coupled with delay in payment of withdrawal. Although the casino is very much active here and have a running campaign.
I see no reason from what you have said for them to delay and Lock your account.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Argentina Launches it's First Bitcoin Futures Contract, Brazil To Follow.. on: July 14, 2023, 02:34:29 PM
Well I will appluad them for such steps because it invariably means that Crypto and bitcoin is directly or indirectly legalized in that country even though what they are about launching or have launched is a fork of bitcoin.   It is a sign that their country citizens can now deal in Crypto and already, they have started doing that before this news came up.

This is amongst the numerous steps implored for the smooth actualization of Crypto adoption in the world. I believe with this steps, other neighborhood countries around them would definitely follow their steps so as to ease their bilateral relationship and otherwise.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 14, 2023, 02:18:21 PM
OP it is generally known that gamblers should learn to gamble responsibly. As a gambler, one must define their interest and goal in gambling and then they would know what to do while In the course of gambling.
Gambling addiction sometimes I feel is an act of desperation by some gamblers while gambling and only they themselves can be able to subdue it and all it takes is one being disciplined while gambling.

Before going out for gambling one should be able to budget some certain amount for which they would gamble with wether winning or making loss, one should be able to have self restraint and control so as not to go beyond their budget limit and when it seems as if you can not resist it, take a break and make a call talking to a loved one as OP has said so as to encourage you to leave there immediately.
