1621  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yobit start to be similar cryptsy on: December 13, 2015, 08:24:58 PM
I can't believe people even consider YoBit as a 'trusted' exchange.
Everything of Yobit has a bad smell
Their own YOVI coin
Their sig. campagign
Their so called exchange

There is no volume at all and if there is volume it is 100% a pump & dump going on. Wake up people.
1622  Other / Archival / Re: $1000 by 1q 2016? on: December 13, 2015, 08:20:47 PM
Nah not going to happen. We are not even halfway there. A 500 usd rate would be perfect to close the year. Then maybe have a new low at 600/700 before the halving.
If the price goes up steadily there is a bigger possibility we stay there, instead of going back again...
1623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during december? on: December 13, 2015, 08:17:52 PM
Expect a really just before christmas maybe even until new year.
Then we will see a (natural) downward spiral back to 320 or maybe even lower. The halving is too far away for the price to climb such high.
There is NO WAY this price will hold..

Well I am just hoping before halving comes that bitcoins is more than 500 dollars.
Then that is good for me to see and after halving that it will go maybe around 800 dollars in November.

November is still far away. I buy/sell based on 3-5 monts outlook.
With the halving very far away, january and february will be some very interesting months to come. Most definitely it will go back agian.
1624  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC going permanently over 500$ in december 2015? on: December 13, 2015, 08:08:23 PM
For the moment 500 seems to be very likely with just 11 days left.
But getting back to 300 is also likely. It would make some people very very rich. It is like they will be giving themself a very generous christmas present..

Yes. It is unlikely for bitcoin price to be over $500 for ever. It might come back to below $500 again in the near future.

Thanks for acknowledging this. Too many people don't see the hype and can't see through the ultimate scheme. I am not negative on a price rise, but just being realistic about this price rise. For me it is no realistic that the current level will be maintained for the long term.
1625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to follow whales? on: December 13, 2015, 08:07:02 PM
I assume there are some dedicated forums where the whales reside. They charge a fee for your membership, but in return you get some great analysis + inside information about trends etc.
Most big investors are subscribed there.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: December 13, 2015, 08:05:09 PM
Let's face it, miseuse with gambling ruins lifes as much or even more then alcohol. For most of the people it is a way of entertaining themself, for some of us it is an addication and since they can handle it, they lose and keep on losing, till they have nothing left to lose..
1627  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: December 13, 2015, 08:00:55 PM
it is very sad to see they caught another user. I hope people will understand eventually that the cloud mining operations are for fun. Not for big time profits.
Don't expect to be rich or even double your money with cloud mining. Expect some extra btc from the mining operation and then you will never be dissapointed.
1628  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Bitcoin Faucet - 10 000 satoshi every 120 minutes on: December 13, 2015, 07:58:22 PM
If there is no unique domain or even a custom made script, it is hard to take it seriously.
It is just a matter of time before the faucet will be permantly dried up...

I've been with them for a few weeks now and so far nothing then good things to say.
Support is fast and they have adequate security measures. A+
1630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: December 13, 2015, 07:52:15 PM
Gambling is just something that comes with life.

Look how often you gambling, even when it is not for money.
You make bets with your friends on sport games, you bet you will get a good grade for an exam etc. etc.

When competing against each other it's natural to wage a bet. So gambling had to be introduced eventually.

1632  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 13, 2015, 07:48:56 PM
Convert everything you've got into gold.

Don't touch it for 25 years.

worst idea ever, in 1980 gold was 2000 per ounce, 25 years later was around 1k or lower, so you are asking us to risk our money for a variability of 50%
true I've said before. every year the price of gold continues to decline
Gold now is not the best investment
yeah my mom told so, she said that we must look for other investments than gold.
do yo know what invesment which is now profitable?

Investing in stocks is always good. I assume you live at home so investing in real estate is not an option.
However if you invest in some stocks you will get more then a decent profit.
1633  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple script that will display balance on a website on: December 13, 2015, 07:47:09 PM
Hi everyone a little help required  Smiley

I want to include in my website the balance of one of my BTC wallets

The wallet is local and running on my linux box as is the website, I dont want to use blockchain.info or similar I want to connect to my wallet direct using my rpc username and password and i guess use the getinfo command to display the results on my website.

I have been looking at some open source projects for tips and code that perhaps I could adjust and use but I have to be honest and say im finding it hard.

Thanks for any help offered !

I think this is quite easy to do with blockchain.info
https://blockchain.info/en/api
https://blockchain.info/en/api/api_receive

They got some usefull examples. If you are a coder you would be able to fetch the balance from the website with WGET

1635  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2015, 07:42:00 PM
Lol what's about all the topics pointed towards woman and bitcoin?
People (and yes woman are people too) will use bitcoin if they see it can be used. If you want a specific audiance to use bitcoin, make sure they can use it.
For woman it would be great to contact some major fashion webshops to embrace bitcoin.
With the bitpay plugin/ API they can easily integrate it and woman can buy their favourite clothing online..with bitcoin
1636  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Nitrokey, the way to secure your valuables... on: December 13, 2015, 07:39:01 PM
It's too bad you post this from a newbie account + there is no address on your site.
The specs really look good to me. I sent some mails on a daily basis that I either move to another inbox or remove since consist of private information.
Such a service is quite good to be honest. Especially since it is open source.
1637  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Great cloud mining website? on: December 13, 2015, 07:36:24 PM
Honestly, I would stay with the bigs ones. Like Hashnest. From all others including genesis mining, scrypt.css i only heard very negative things.
Either they are collapsing or they don't offer you ROI somewhere in a reasonable time frame.
Best way is to stay away of them tbh.
1638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could we leave satoshi alone? on: December 13, 2015, 07:32:34 PM
I can't believe that the media's not arrested for harassing and somewhat intimidating Satoshi.

Yeah it makes no sense.

Satoshi did not scam anybody nor any bad things. In fact he invented the first p2p network for digital payments.
Then he chose to stay anonymous, why can't we respect his decision...
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: December 13, 2015, 07:31:18 PM
I've sold quite some coins at this moment. And I will sell more if we hit 470 again and also on 500.
Sell high and buy back lower (around 400 dollar), is how this game is played. Unless you make a bad decision and you have to take loss.

In the end I am mostly right, so for now i keep on selling.
1640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is that right good exhange or i get ripped localbitcoin on: December 13, 2015, 07:29:48 PM
so a friend of mine did an exchange he had about $365.7 he exhanged and $get 332.3 $ what was the rate

Well in a way your friend is ripped up, but he did it to himself. If you choose a service like localbitcoins you will get less then on average exchanges.
If this sounds new to him, he should have done some proper research.

It is a common fact localbitcoins have this kind of fees.
