I'm not sure if there's another thread for this already, or if this belongs in a different section. So basically I thought it would be helpful to post up your Bitcoin address in this thread in the event that your account gets compromised later on down the road. You can simply make a new alt account, sign the address that your original account posted here, and have irrefutable proof that you're the actual owner. It's not 100% guaranteed that you'll get your account back, but it's a pretty good start. Of course, if your account is compromised, the hacker could just come back to this thread and edit/delete whatever address you post here, so that's why I'm asking people to quote the address posted by the preceding user in this thread. Here's mine:

1FLnpvdXL6ooBpFj2LHqZxQsrxn2voj5uv

Mine is: 1KUuAVMVCdsL3T5r162SwSqribmn9UCHhw (september 1st, 2:13pm Vzla)

Well better to sign a message
Quoted anyway
(Dunno if it is allowed to quote 2 different message at the same time or not)

Wait, I'm a bit confused. Does the first page also update? There are some campaigns that are not posted there. Must be the reason I'm not seeing newer one.  Grin

Mitchell update the first table from times to times (read the title of the topic : Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 25-Aug-2017])
But fatanut generally update it daily so the last table in this topic is the newer one
1625  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: September 01, 2017, 04:28:19 PM
it will increase again by 14 each 2 weeks.

Those 2 weeks are based on my creation account date or it is an stablished day for everyone?

So in a nutshell, if every 14 days I login and do 14 posts, on the 15th day (or 1st day) I'll see my increase of +14?
Or I have to be constant on a daily post?

Just curious about how the algorithm works Smiley

I will try to be simple :
User X just created his account today so he will have automatically 14 potential activity. This user will have +1 activity for each post until he reaches 14 activity then the number of posts will increase but the activity will stuck on 14.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2017, a new period will start and you will gain again 14 potential activities. So there is 2 possibilities
The 1st: you start with 14 posts/activity, so again for every post you make you will gain +1 activity until 28.
The 2nd, you start with 14 activities and 25 posts for example, so once you make a post you will see that your activity will jump directly to 26 then if you make more posts your activity will increase until 28.

Then after 14 days so September 26, 2017, again a new period will start and once you make as little as 1 post, you will have automatically 14 potential activity again. If you do not made a post you cannot have any potential activity then you will miss that period.

You couldnt have explained it better Smiley
Thank you, now everything makes sense.

Thank you
I just forget to mention the link where you can find the starting date of each period

i see that some of the participants here are complaining but why? still i knew that this campaign will be success and more success in the near future. goodluck team!

It could be as successful as Bitmixer signature campaign but the owner have to impose strict rules/hire a manager imo or else it will have difficulties.

I dont get this:
"but your activity score only updates every two weeks."
and later:
"Activity is updated every hour."
So is it every two weeks or every hour?
The score its self calculates every two weeks, the score you see updates every hour. This means that on an activity period your activity will update, but it may take up to an hour to see it updated on the forum.

Thanks!
How much is my activity now? I see 57.

How do I know if my activity was updated to the public?

It is 57. If you have potential activity of 70, your activity will increase to 70, if you have more it will increase then stop at that level then it will increase again by 14 each 2 weeks.
The update in the activity can be seen by you and other members at the same time few minutes after each post up to 1 hour.

I find this campaign really worthy and the all these reviews about Betcoin are intimidating.
I would like to join the campaign and i hope i will receive a positive reply very soon.
Is there a spot available ? I just read no spots available, is that true ? Also i would like to know why is there so much of negative trust on OP's account.

1- join the queue and wait for the OP response
2- press the trust link and read the comments.

BaterDex signature campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2135718
It's not like the campaigns we used to see, It's more like lottery, you gain points by posting (and more by having higher rank) so I'm not sure If you could list it here.

It is a 2 weeks signature campaign with a limited number of winners (5 + 3 medals for the most spammers) so better not to list it or simply mention it at the end in case it will be listed...

Came across this interesting thread by accident.

Couple of years later, https://beta.bitcointalk.org/ is up, but no migration still?

beta.bitcointalk.org has advanced a lot since then. Work continues. I think that technically it would be possible to migrate ~now -- the database migration code has already been written --, but I want to be absolutely sure that there will be no issues. (It'd be nice if there was more beta participation...)

I don't think that many people are aware of the new forums, maybe launching an official beta testing event could help recruiting more users.
(Suggestion: They can also be more interested if they could earn few cents for every bug reported.)
1636  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-25]Bitcoin Exchange BTC-e Promises 'Daily' Updates During Relaunch Atte on: August 25, 2017, 08:02:17 PM
Bitfinex, btc-e, maybe other services could be shutdown later for stupid reasons or eventually after a hack... The owners should take a serious measures to protect their funds and the investors should keep their money out of the exchanges as much as possible.
For btc-e, i think it could fully recover after a little dump.

1638  Other / New forum software / Re: Keep SMF Theme on new forum on: August 25, 2017, 06:52:26 PM
I'm comfortable with the current layout and colours.

Yes. So am I. This design is time proven and it just works.
You can browse for hours or even days and it's ok. most forums (99%) suck at this and serious eye damage is the result.
Please don't change the SMF theme or if you absolutely need to make it an option to enable it again.

Same i support the current theme and would see it in the next version of the forums
