1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin quantity go down? on: November 10, 2016, 10:48:41 PM
The only way for the quantity of bitcoin to go down is if many of the bitcoins owned become unaccessible by their owners. If they loose the private keys for their coins those coins will no longer be moved. As for the protocol it will ever bethe same no matter what, so only 21 million coins will be ever produced
Have you guys read front page of the thread, I think the OP question already answered and consider solved.
The exchanges 'Bleutrade' seems strange which charge fees to balance that stored so the quantity go down (not bitcoin in circulation he mean)
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 10, 2016, 02:19:09 PM
Anything that allows you to win money easy way you will try even just one time, the human does like challenge and rewards, and if you mix them you will get the result, the potencial earnings anyone can get at gambling make us believe we will win those someday.

If there is a way to get easy money that is not gambling for sure, if we look at the statistics of people who gambling there are a lot of them get losses instead of winning the game. Gambling become addictive to someone who feel enjoy and satisfied due to betting and get win and there are people trying to recover their loss and these kind of person judge addicted to gambling.
1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I use Bitcoin ??? on: November 10, 2016, 01:01:38 PM
In this time most of the currencies are here,so why i use Bitcoin? what you feel the different between Bitcoin and the other currencies?
Bitcoin is a revolutionary technology and the first one of digital currency which already going through all obstacles and problems in various regions. So, bitcoin already has many user and as accepted payment in several countries.
Bitcoin has higher price than others currencies due to its advantages and demand.
1624  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 10, 2016, 11:43:24 AM
Well, I'm sorry Smiley. I haven't spend my bitcoin yet as I planned to hold it and consider as my long term investment and savings.
I will spend my bitcoin of course, but in time when I go travel to country that already has support bitcoin payment everywhere.
For now, not many options where I'm going to buy or spend my bitcoin instead of convert into fiat money which I won't do yet without an urgent situation.
1625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dubai accepts Bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 10:47:39 AM
It's a good progress of bitcoin to widely using all over the world as accepted and mainstream payment that more flexible and fast transaction which could replace paper money. The price will increase as well along its use,  another thing to note is the regulation of bitcoin use in those countries, how it will support bitcoin and how much stores, hotel, restaurants that accepted bitcoin.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: November 10, 2016, 08:34:28 AM
I don't same any difference between gambling and betting as both are same things. Actually gambling word is more famous and now it is being taken in context of casino related games but in fact sports betting and everything where any profit or loss factor is that is gambling. You may give it any name but its nature will not change at all.

yes, there is no difference between gambling and betting. I don't why most people said that gambling and betting is a different things.
There is no gamble if you not place a bet. Gambling is a game when you place a bet.
Betting is a kind of gambling as well, you can say betting is gambling for sure.
People already said the difference between them, gambling refer to slots, roulette, dice which depend on your luck and betting mean some kind of game that have better chance to win like poker game and sports betting.
1627  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 07:30:52 AM
It may a little bit hard to buy bitcoin at those exchangers, I never really plan to buy bitcoin in foreign exchanger.
It will easier to buy bitcoin in local exchangers in my country or simply buy with my friends. Fast and easy transaction of bitcoin.
1628  Economy / Speculation / Re: So USA seems to have picked Donald Trump. Help or hurt btc prices. on: November 10, 2016, 06:22:47 AM
We can't state that Trump winning cause bitcoin surge and it just for one day, now the price decrease again.
Well, it just a usual fluctuate happening. People could be withdraw their money or sell stocks and invest in bitcoin, but it just speculation.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 09, 2016, 07:11:10 PM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

It's a good way for bitcoin be a state-backed digital currency that will have positive effect to bitcoin.
But paper money has it own advantages which bitcoin doesn't have like physical form and can't be hacked in your pocket, lol.
I'm not saying to support paper money, but it better to have both of them.
In the future there is chance maybe paper money not using anymore, like 20-50 years later, maybe.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin's price rise above $1000 because Trump was elected president? on: November 09, 2016, 06:58:19 PM
Well, the election may has good impact to bitcoin if Trump really support bitcoin and regulation also rearrangement to help widely spread of bitcoin in entire states but it could takes a long time to do. We can't just hope that happen as we know bitcoin is decentralized and government can't do many things to interfere bitcoin price to rise $1000. Maybe what they have discussed about China capital could make it reach that price.
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: November 09, 2016, 06:14:43 PM
If we think about different currencies - Bitcoin is a real step forward. It is not supported by gold or something else. It depends a lot on whether people use it and believe in it.
For which purposes you think Nakamoto created Bitcoin? To earn a lot of money? Or just to create something new?

if Satoshi was looking for money the he would have dumped his coins a long time ago back in the time of $1200 level and then bough back and dumped again and again just like what many other altcoin developers are doing.

Quote
Maybe, he wanted to show the different nature of money and that it doesn't need government to exist, for example?
What are your thoughts on the topic?

my thought is that you should read the bitcoin white paper.
bitcoin was created to introduce the new form of money that you said yourself too, a public ledger which is decentralized and helps us be our own bank.
I thought that Mr. Nakamoto just sick of world banking system that have enslaved their citizens under the weight of their debts.
Bitcoin give us full control and be ourselves banks, in other words bitcoin is banking without bank, no need to join in bank systems.
1632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin help poor countries? on: November 09, 2016, 02:35:17 PM
Can Bitcoin or any other altcoin help poor countries?
how? what can be done?
I don't think so, to help poor countries need more than just digital currency.
Poor country means people income less than standard
Bitcoin may help some people who joined the forum to get an extra income, but not an entire country.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin protects against geopolitical risk on: November 09, 2016, 11:35:55 AM
very difficult to say bitcoin will be safe from political turbulence. but if the incident occurs in one country, it will have no impact on other countries. because of the nature of the digital currency is known worldwide. so I concluded that bitcoin is more secure than any currency in the world.
Bitcoin has advantages as decentralized and peer to peer which mean it safe from geopolitical risk that just happen in one country.
Well, geopolitical might be able to decrease bitcoin price due to there are companies and people may loss during these conditions but bitcoin will rise again.
1634  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: November 09, 2016, 07:38:12 AM
What is the obstacles, challenges and problems that Bitcoin can face it in 5 years? How we can help Bitcoin to take more authoritative place in the world of currency system?
I think from the first rise of bitcoin until whenever still the same problems,
- how to get massive adoption
- security issues (hackers)
Those factors will affect the price and stability of bitcoin
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: November 08, 2016, 04:37:38 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
I can't imagine how bitcoin could destroy the fiat system, it can't be forever.
Bitcoin will always go through the way side by side with fiat system due to every country have their own currency as national identity.
Government and banks will adopt blockchain technology to make it happen, let see how it works in the future.

In 2022, six years later is a short period for bitcoin used by almost everyone, just about 15-20% of world population I thought.
Because not everyone trust virtual money that can not be touched and people still love to using fiat money.
1636  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: November 08, 2016, 03:54:57 PM
Who in the world controls the bitcoin? I don't understand where it appeared and how it began to be one of the official currencies?
Who controls the course of Bitcoin?
Since bitcoin system is designed to decentralized,  no one really controls bitcoin except the one who created it (Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto) users could only affect bitcoin price if they have at least 50% of total amount of bitcoin to control it.
1637  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: November 08, 2016, 07:38:36 AM
bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here
Bitcoin does affect our life in somehow whether positive or negative depends on how we manage our time and habit to prevent regret in the future and blame it to bitcoin because we spent a lot of time getting into it. I do facing the same problem and still trying to manage how much time to spend in bitcoin.
1638  Economy / Speculation / Re: $700 HIT ^^ TARGET 900-1100 on: November 08, 2016, 04:12:04 AM
If we look how price progress from start of this year i expect to see itgoes over 800
This may be good and it can be achieved so i expect to see this price in December

800 in december? You'll not see this, maybe in december/2017  Roll Eyes

There's no factors to make the price reach that number right now.

Bitcoin price increases faster than $100 in a year, it will reach $800 this year for sure as demand of bitcoin got higher than before.

It's Christimas time, people want to buy gifts, and to buy gifts they need money, and money is Bitcoins. A lot of people looking for BTCs, price increasing to the moon!
It is contradictory when people need money and looking for bitcoin instead of selling it. I think they will convert bitcoin into fiat money to buy things and gifts.
1639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: November 07, 2016, 04:57:28 PM
You should add an option "others", Coz i think best way to do a job and get paid in bitcoin, here is the ways https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=985550  But i don't use any of them till now, but for the past few months am demanding bitcoin as payment from my clients abroad, Since easier, cheaper & faster way to get paid.

I forgot to add that option. Anyways, I already edited the poll and included "others" on the choices. Thank you very much for reminding me and also, thanks for telling me some sources Wink
I vote for others options, since there are a lot of source to earn bitcoin with their own advantages and reasons, I think the best is bitcoin wallet and exchangers (two services in one packet) according to how much income they earn in every transaction, consider bitcoin transaction every day which mean a lot of profits, but it need qualified skills and big capital.
1640  Economy / Economics / Re: How would you double $100,000 safely? on: November 07, 2016, 08:26:31 AM
Easy. Business. Doesn't have to be a website or a service, it can be anything. Re-selling, dropshipping, etc.

Drop a PM if ya want some ideas or help.

This is far the best answer in my opinion.  Anything that can give you profit!  Business is one of it and if you do reselling, you can easily see the profit from it.  Just make sure your chosen goods are in-demand and avoid wasting too much cash on useless thing.

Well the reality is that there is no safe way at all for doubling that amount of $100,000. All ways of investing has the risk.
And you need to take the risk in able to grow your money. If somebody offers you to grow your money safely.
Better to stay away from them as you know now that there is no safe way at all.
You can always make a safe method, put your money in the bank for a time deposit and surely it would earn interest, in 20 years you can already double that amount.
Double it in 20 years? Lol, very long time to wait for. I agree, there is no save and smooth way to double $100K in just one year, the best option to invest in bitcoin first and wait several months when there is a good increase and sell the coins. Start your own business is another way to makes income, but still there is no guarantee to double it in one year.
