There are still, I am not sure which ones but I know there are some out there. You could probably check out this thread for the links and check it out yourself. They still profit even without house edge. House edge is just an "edge" over the gamblers for the casinos. However, even with 0% house edge there is still a great chance that the casino will win over the long run, since statistics will tell you that no matter what settings you put there will ba a complete losing streak for infinite number of times too. I agree the losing streak of anyone would also be infinite. I've tried using a win chance of 90% and even at that rate I lose 10 in a row, well that was because I was on autobet and using a martin gale system that I modified. Though I don't think they will be shifting to bitcoins after dumping their gold. Bitcoins has not yet been adopted greatly be the world and there are only less than 1% of the world who really use bitcoins. With that, I don't think a majority of these investors dumping their gold even know about bitcoins in the first place. Maybe they are just moving to another kind of asset.

It goes to show again, that Bitcoin isn't really a great currency.
The cost of transactions and low number of possible transactions shows that clearly.
For moving large amounts of money internationally, it is great. That is the direction people should be looking. There are major companies making a killing off money transfers, Bitcoin should make them obsolete. I can pay for stuff online with fiat, bitcoin adds nothing, or very little to that transaction for me.
This really depends on what you will be using your bitcoins in. I think fiverr really had problems using bitcoins as they are probably holding bitcoins for too long and they are allowing their workers to withdraw anytime. Which means, fiverr will probably pay for the cost of bitcoin's prices going up. What they should have done is to pay their workers with just bitcoins and not exchange it to dollar values anytime. |

A decent investment could be cnc 3d printers, cnc laser engravers or some type of cnc routing machine.
A person could conceivably start a small business making jewelry, keychains, etc.
Entry level CNC machines are around $100.
Not sure about viability, but that could be something worth looking into.
You don't have to settle for a business that small if you're making 40$ a day. In just a month, you'll have $1200 and you can have much better investment with that. 3D printer is popular in first world countries because they are the first ones to have and afford it. I think it would be good if you buy a 3D printer and then rent it or just accept the design online, print it, and then ship it to the buyer. Not everyone can afford a 3D printer but needs to use one. But again, with 40$ a day, there would be much better investments than that. Research what your area actually needs. You don't want to buy a 3D printer and have it rented by other people, but end up selling it the next month because you just found out that most people in your place either don't need one or already one.  Well if you can make awesome things with that 3d printer then you invest your money there. If you can sell things made from it, then that would be really great. However this is really hard to do as 3d printers are made for small project and not really for purposes of mass producing goods. |
