Monopólio do sistema monetário ---> Bitcoin

Maiores transações monetárias ---> Crypto-Currencies

Isn't that the point of an exchange... people can already cash out, if they do it under the ask price they lose out for no reason and you try to profit from scamming people?

Not exactly a scam, but trying to profit from dumb people.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: my client crashed... Need light weight wallet on: March 07, 2013, 11:24:38 AM
Yeah the current blockchain have this size.

A light weight is Eletrum, where you don't download the blockchain, and all the info you need from the blockchain is got from an Eletrum server.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie questions for Litecoin on: March 07, 2013, 11:08:52 AM
I am pretty familiar with BTC, but new to Litecoin.

Question: Do I setup Litecoin the same way as Bitcoin? E.g. bitcoin.conf -> litecoin.conf ?

Is there a litecoind like there's a bitcoind? If so, is litecoind just a modified version of bitcoind?

Is the protocol to sync/distribute blocks for Litecoin the same as for Bitcoin?

1- Yup, the same way

2- Yup, there's a daemon like bitcoin

3- Yup, the port and the amount of blocks generated are different only, AFAIK

5000 XRP when I receive it from OpenCoin
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin faucet on: March 06, 2013, 08:26:19 PM
Last hour I looked in the logs... Sadly there are some users who keep changing their IP and LTC address to get more coins. I created a linking system which links all IPs and addresses used by someone. But few days after this I saw new IP and address pairs, so the method is good, but not the best.

I am curious if there is any way to find if two addresses belong to the same wallet. If someone knows, please PM me. This will help the faucet a lot.

Not really. If you can do that then it means the privacy model of bitcoin is breached.

How much are you giving out per request?

Was 0.01 per request, every hour.
But if the faucet is running low, the amount will decrease over the time. People of course where draining it, in a few hours I saw th amount of 0.008 go to 0.006.
1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin faucet on: March 06, 2013, 05:00:12 PM
Reducing how much the ime between each request?
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Merge two wallet.dat on: March 06, 2013, 04:43:13 PM
Your idea will not wok, if you sent bitcoins with bitcoin-qt.
Because when you send some bitcoins, part of your bicoins goes to hidden addresses, which you don't know who they are to use the dumpprivkey.
1631  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ajude a rede Bitcoin, instale o software e deixe a porta 8333 aberta! on: March 06, 2013, 01:55:05 PM
1632  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ajude a rede Bitcoin, instale o software e deixe a porta 8333 aberta! on: March 06, 2013, 01:20:34 PM

1633  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ajude a rede Bitcoin, instale o software e deixe a porta 8333 aberta! on: March 06, 2013, 12:40:25 PM
Eu entendi perfeitamente.

1634  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ajude a rede Bitcoin, instale o software e deixe a porta 8333 aberta! on: March 06, 2013, 11:08:28 AM

1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [WTS] Dota2 - Steam Gift on: March 05, 2013, 11:31:52 AM
Most people seens to have recieved a lot of keys if you was a player, and this is my case.
I've got 17 keys, and I wil be selling 13 of them.
Status: 13 of 13
And since those things are less scarce than BQC, I will be selling them for a minimum of 3 LTC per key or equivalent in BTC. Also accepting a few hundreds of BQC Smiley

If you have a good OTC to show to me, I can send the gift first, otherwise you will wait until I have your transaction confirmed.
Since I work and study, I don't have much time to use Steam, so, after the transaction if confirmed(or the deal has been made, in the case of a good OTC and a request of me sending first) you have to wait no more than 36h to recieve your Gift in the account(s) you requested to be sent the gift(s). If you don't like the idea of gift sending or want to buy more than one and need to a Steam Trade, feel free to ask as well, in the weekend I can logon almost full-time.

Notes: No, I don't accept Dota2 itens, neither TF2 itens. Maybe if you have a sparing steam game gift we can make a deal.

Happy gaming Smiley

A pooled mining has higher speed compared to a solo mining?
1639  Other / Off-topic / Re: Playstation 4 - brought to you by BFL on: March 01, 2013, 08:43:24 PM
Buying a PS4 for mining is pretty much a retard.

Yes, because buying graphics cards built to play games was retarded as well.

Yeah lets pay 3x a PC for mining with a PS4, great logic

Where did you get your 3X number? Lots of people dropped $300-$500 on a single GPU to mine with. I seriously doubt PS4 will cost $900-$1500, in fact, I expect it will be $300-$500.
The logic is a GPU can also game and therefore retains resale value. Guess what, the same logic applies to a PS4.
YOU expect i to be 300-500,
What is kind of wrong, I highly doubt that it, a new f*cking console, will cost the same as a 7000 series of ATI and being able to mine at least 90% of the speed.

Since the windows binaries don't have a daemon, running the qt will enable me solo mining with the cpuminer?
What I should config?
(I only have tested the built-in but it sucks, wih Litecoin and cpuminer I got 3x the hash speed)
