OKEX & What Happened



You have been watching us working day after day making Voise the world’s best music distribution platform for artists and listeners alike. You have stood with us in good and rough times, and your amazing moral and financial contribution to our product is what keeps us motivated all the time.

Today we once again ask you to stand with us in the face of a minor roadblock. In many of previous blog-posts, we had promised our community that we’ll have VOISE tokens listed on a top five exchange this exchange was OKEX, a Belize-based virtual currency exchange. Our promise was derived from a business commitment made by the OKEX team which, as we thought, was going to be executed in February.

We need to inform our valued community that the deal between Voise and OKEX met a dead end only recently, after multiple delays on the part of the OKEX team, we took over the project and during the negotiations the exchange changed the parameters for listing the Voise token. We feel they should have honored the original contract, despite any current policy changes.

We do not mean to put the OKEX team in a bad light but their refusal to list us after they agreed to list us, has gone over our heads. We have asked them for a proper explanation on the matter, but we haven’t received any concrete response yet. Which is why, we have decided to redirect our resources to get listed on other exchanges and we will revisit OKEX when we meet their new requirements that they have imposed on us and other projects. This is not isolated to Voise, from our understanding other projects are having similar listing issues.

We are hell-bent towards getting our tokens listed on exchanges, an listing suggestions can be sent to Brandon Diamond. This blogpost is an effort to stay transparent with you our community the voice of voise, and to ensure you all that we are committed to everyone’s success. Moving forward there will be more exchanges onboarded. We hope this clarifies some of the questions that surrounded the OKEX listing.

I live in europe. I have to make all my declarations in euro. And i have to make all my payments to government in euro. So for me it is the same if i pay a bill in USD or in crypto. I have to calculate how much euro are these cryptos/dollars. I can of course not write a bill or get a bill in crypto. But i can get a bill for lets say 1000€ and if the company that wrote the bill accepts crypto i pay them in crypto. But as mentioned, it is the same if i get a USD invoice. I have to calculate how much euro are this. I could also write a bill for 100€ + 19€ VAT, and then i accept getting the value of 119€ in crypto.
I could also pay with or be paid in gold or whatever... It doesnt matter...

Alright, changing the bounty.

Bounty, is now 10,000,000 NDL not to rewrite the code, but to provide a step by step set of instructions on how to compile the windows exe in Linux.  So simple that someone with no programming or linux experience can follow it to compile said file from the existing repo https://github.com/His-Holy-Noodliness/noodlyappendagecoin.  If any modifications need to be made to the repo in those steps, then they should be explained in the steps.  Again, in a manner simple enough that someone who has installed linux and can get into terminal, but knows virtually nothing else. Also, assume that none of the dependencies are installed prior to your instructions.  If you want to rewrite the code and provide those same steps, that works too.

A Slack user is trying to promote the new Byteball WorldCommunityGrid.org (WCG) distribution method (new WCG Bot in the BB wallet).  This morning, he already gave away shares of a 1GB reward to all Byteball users that were active participants in the program last week, and were part of the official WCG Byteball team (Byteball.org).   Those users each ended up with a 25MB reward (~ $6.60) - not bad.  

With the participation of Tonyh, he has announced on Slack today a follow-up giveaway: he is offering shares of another 1GB reward on May 19th.  To be eligible to receive a share of this reward, the participants have, again, to be active within the Byteball WCG distribution, AND be a member of the official Byteball WCG Team.  Apparently, only 40% of the Byteball WCG distribution users are also member of the official WCG Byteball Team.  To increase this ratio to more than 75% by May 19th, he is offering 1GB in reward.

To be part of this challenge, you first have to be an active member of the Byteball WCG Bot program (tutorial here: https://steemit.com/byteball/@punqtured/processing-for-good-get-rewarded-for-crunching-numbers-to-cure-diseases).

Second, you have to join, or switch to the official Byteball Team (to do so, one has to select "My Team --> Find a Team" in their WCG account, search, select and join the team Byteball.org).

Finally, on May 19th, the Team active members count has to be at least 75% of the number of participants receiving BB daily payouts (https://wcg.report).

It is also mentioned that to be considered an active team member, you have to contribute any amounts of WCG points to the team every day of the challenge period - either since newly joining the Byteball WCG Bot program, or, for current Byteball WCG Bot participants, since the participant switched/joined the official team.
