1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade using instinct on: October 14, 2021, 11:15:25 PM
because indeed there are still many people who are lazy to learn about something but want to benefit from it, so they think like that because for them it is like a shortcut without realizing the danger is very big and it can be detrimental because it is like gambling that only guesses and hopes for luck.
once or twice may be due to luck and chance, but it won't last forever.
and this is what beginners should pay attention to, because even in trading and investing there must be knowledge and one of them is reading the available market charts and stiffened with TA.
If you are aiming for long term profits, then you should also have a good preparation for it, and not just do any shortcuts just to get there easily. You should have to make research first which coins will be more profitable in the long run either for pure investing or trading at the same time. Through learning fundamental and technical analysis, they will be very useful i think.

Well, trading from your own instinct may gain good results in the beginning but that won't always be the case. The market crash may happen anytime so if you know how to take advantage with this, then you will definitely still gaining profits despite the market is not really in a good position.
It should be like that because it's actually a very important thing while being here.
but most of the beginners they just want profit and are lazy to cultivate literacy and learning before jumping directly into trading.

trading from instinct is purely from luck and luck is not always on your side.
Its like gambling in this case. But trading is too different from trading because you need to be more knowledgeable not just on the price charts alone but even on the current events that may cause the market to crash or create a price correction. And you should always have to develop your strategies that will work out for you. So trading using your instinct will not be usable if you aim to stay long in trading. That may be beneficial but for just beginner's luck, otherwise you'll gonna lose more on the rest of your trading.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 14, 2021, 08:43:43 PM
So to the point: Would you quit if a centralized shitcoin managed to surpass Bitcoin in marketcap? At that point it would be clear that entire space is a joke. Bitcoin would still march on as usual, but it would be just sad to see people putting their money on shitcoins rather than on the only actually decentralized blockchain worth anything.
why would I? just because bitcoin got surpassed doesn't mean that its value is lost. l just can't of any reason why would I quit/leave bitcoin just because another cryptocurrency surpassed it. also, quitting bitcoin just because another cryptocurrency surpassed bitcoin is just shallow(which is sad).
Well, i don't see myself quitting in bitcoin just because of that. The fact that bitcoin still has it own high value because of the growing demand, then i would stick to it no matter what. After all, i'm here not just for the benefits of bitcoin at the present time but literally for its benefits in the future. There's no other coin that i think worth keeping for my future retirement than bitcoin alone. Ethereum may surpass bitcoin but i know its utility case is also different compared to bitcoin.
1623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is in a downtrend, will it last long or temporary? on: October 13, 2021, 11:25:17 PM
If we look at it on face value, the price increased but every increase speaks about something else. I believe it increased very decently this time around but I believe it was much better than just an increase. For example, lets assume price starts at 42k, one day it goes to 48k, is that good? Of course it is good, but lets assume it starts with 42k but goes to 58k, isn't that much better? Of course it is much better.

This is why I believe there is a good chance that we could see a lot higher right now as well. The only reason why I am thinking like this is that we didn't had only just a recovery, we literally had a whole bull run during this period and you never know when the bull runs will stop.
I guess its the most awaited moment we have been looking forward to happen and finally, bitcoin is now moving forward to its bullish trend. But admit it or not, in a market like this, there is no guarantee that the market will always seem so positive. The market will definitely turn sideways and its the fact that we should learn to prepare for it. I can't totally say that the downtrend is over as no one us here can predict what will be in the next to happen but as far as the crypto market is concern, the whole crypto market is bullish because of bitcoin that is leading the market in a positive direction.
1624  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is Happier: Stock investors or Bitcoin investors on: October 13, 2021, 09:03:16 PM
For someone to be happy in his investment, he/she will have a good profit. In some cases, stuck investors may be happier because what they invest on is physical at the same time they might fall victim of loosing their entire investment is the company they invest on fall or have some issues. But bitcoin investment is quite safe because one is in control of his wealth, you don't depend on any company's profits to make your own wealth. So I feel like bitcoin investment is safer.
I  can't really give a definite answer because if you are both making good ROI from stocks and bitcoin investment, then you should be happier with that. Stocks investment is also giving consistent profits so if you are putting a huge capital on it, then your profits will be very huge too. Same with bitcoin, the one who gets to invest in a huge amount of capital will surely reap a huge ROI too. Even if we are aware that bitcoin has higher value than stocks, but if we will be able to invest in them and diversify our portfolio, then the outcome of your investment will be very profitable in the end.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy BNB at the right time? on: October 13, 2021, 07:52:30 AM
hello friends,

For the first time today, the right light came on in my head for the cryptocurrency market. Smiley
maybe you have too.

How to buy BNB at the right time? altcoin or main coin? I wanted to share some of my experiences on these issues.

The jumps in BNB are usually in parallel with the new altcoins that will be released to the market. BNB is making solid crypto openings at the right times. while doing this, the pool is inflated with BNB. this results in the BNB being pumped upwards.

what are we doing then? We follow the cryptos that BNB offers to the market and shift the capital to BNB. When crypto peaks, we exit BNB in the short term and go on hold.
Just Buy Binance if you are aiming for long term Holding , Binance is known to be safer currency as this is backed up by Binance exchange in which we already Knew the capacity and popularity so why need to think longer when the food is already in the table waiting for us to eat?
Binance is safe and also buy some Bitcoin with this together for more safer and more functional holding .
BNB has been very active in the market now since its always backed by Binance exchange. And since Binance exchange is one of the most popular exchanges, then its always expected that its coin BNB will never be left behind. Its value will definitely continue to grow as its demand increases consitently. But i believe that this is not the right time to place buy order for BNB seeing its price always in surge. Wait for a short decline maybe like $250-$300 so we can buy more BNB at a lower price. Not really that dip but knowing its price will bounce up again so we will still be more profitable by then.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: October 12, 2021, 11:20:24 PM
Yes, it is true that  Ethereum gas fee is too expensive. There are a lot of people that have token in the blockchain but do to high gas fee, so many people have left thier token over there compare to BSC blackcain that you can swap token with small gas fee.
For me I have some token worth of 50$ which I am afraid to swap due to their gas fee, because the amount of Gass fee I will use to swap the token might be more than value of token itself. Now a lot of people are losing interest in the blackcain
Just don't swap it.

That will require you a lot of eth for the fees to cover it and it's not a good time right now because the fees keep on fluctuating. I miss seeing the fees being stable and they're easy to convey because they're cheap.

But today, it's very different.
If you don't have enough funds for the gas fees, better just still keep your coins in your wallet. There are times that ethereum gas fees is quite affordable so you will have more money to save. But right now, its very high as only big whales can transact their tokens these days. This platform has definitely made us all struggles whenever there are times that we need to do transactions. Although ethereum platform's performance is reliable but the price just really give us a damn. Hopefully, things will get better soon before another platform takes over ethereum.
1627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM stolen in a liquior store on: October 12, 2021, 08:17:55 AM

Now, it would be so funny to see the reaction of the thieves when they realized that Bitcoin is digital...hopefully they found some fiat cash in that machine. Anyway, this is just telling us that even bad criminals have already heard about Bitcoin and its astronomical value so they planned and executed this heist. Soon we can have a movie or a series based on this daring move by bad guys with the aim of maybe getting as many Bitcoin as they can.
I am sure that they are really aware of the current value of bitcoin so they chose to robbed it than the fiat machine. But they have been stupid hoping that they can steal bitcoin which is very impossible. I think they have been thinking right now how to get out from the situation but it's too late already. The police team have been hunting them for sure. Funny how this turned out to be a laughing stock in the end.

1628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: October 12, 2021, 03:46:33 AM
It's true that traders' money is prone to being used in a sudden due to unstable market conditions making it difficult to lend, but in my opinion in some cases there needs to be an exception especially if the borrower is his own family or close relatives. It may be necessary to make an allowance for principal that is not used as trading capital so that there is idle money just in case during an emergency.
I agree about the situation.

If that's all about his family and needs, then that money would be borrowed for sure if a trader is too close to his family. But there can also be those traders that still won't allow.
Either its a family or not, as long as the reason to borrow money needs immediate response just like in a situation between life and death, then you have to be selfless that time. Even if you can't lend a big amount, the fact that you let that person borrowed from you is already a big help.

Once you're a trader, it does not mean that all your funds are only circulated for trading. Some  may have invested in other aspects too, or even reserve a big amount for savings too. As long as you have extra money that is only intended for future use, then lending out money would never be a problem provided that you also know your borrower well.
1629  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 11, 2021, 11:21:31 PM
Currently, there are many usd-based stablecoins such as, usdt, busd, usdc and maybe many others.  To be honest, I used to think that crypto would completely eliminate the usd's dominance of the world economy but I was wrong, it turns out that usd is now evolving to crypto (stablecoins).  What do you think, whether in the future bitcoin or other crypto can replace the role of currency in each country and leave fiat currencies such as usd, euro, yuan and others.
It is better you do not get your hopes too high about this happening in the future, while many of those that came early to the market and adopted bitcoin have had a similar dream the truth is that was not a goal of satoshi, satoshi created bitcoin in order to help you to truly own your money and become your own bank by not relying on a third party to approve your payment, satoshi succeed since you can already do that and the dead of fiat currencies is not really needed.
If you are still thinking that fiat will be eliminated soon and that crypto will be a global currency, that is still too far from reality. They might coexist in the future, as well as crypto can be integrated in bank's transactions, but crypto will never replace fiat. People might be amaze thinking how bitcoin can be a good currency but when it comes bitcoin as the only legal tender in different countries, big adjustments will definitely arise. So let's just be contented having them both. I guess it will even create a harmonious relation between fiat and crypto and the people will definitely love using them both.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your best investment tool recommendation??? on: October 11, 2021, 09:28:57 PM
Hello, I hope everyone is making a lot of money. I have a capital of about $1000 that I set aside for investment purposes. What do you think is the right investment tool?

gold?
coin?
Never mind the investment and eat your money! Smiley

We are in a period when a bull run is expected. It is necessary to analyze the jumps of the coins well and follow them in a controlled manner.
Gold is worth in my opinion for investment activities. Even more feasible if we are able to invest in both with the existing capital. A good coin with the amount of capital available for investment is BNB or ETH.
Gold is still worth investing but prioritize more on bitcoin and ethereum since they are both heading reaching their new ATH. Or you can diversify your funds into these three investments so that you'll have more sources of profits, just do the math. But seeing bitcoin and ethereum's price as of this moment, they are already expensive so maybe wait for a little drop of price so you will have a good entry. I'm sure there will be price corrections along the way so just wait patiently.
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can China Ban on Bitcoin have any negative effect on Bitcoin in future? on: October 11, 2021, 07:03:10 AM
Considering the fact that China keeps fighting to make sure they totally ban anything that has to do with Crypto (Bitcoin), we now notice that these days, their announcements now has less negative effect on Bitcoin, I.e Bitcoin don't fall careless again because of news from China like before.

But yet, investors and Bitcoin enthusiasts like me are beginning to worry if on the long run, China's ban can have a lasting drastic effect on Bitcoin or not.?

I would say no impact will be seen! The bitcoin market is now immune from Chinese legislation as the Chinese government has made it quite clear that they will stand against cryptocurrencies as it provides their citizens with financial freedom and an escape route from their strict regulations. So majority of the Chinese players are already out of the market. Few might continue to operate illegally but their numbers are very less.

So I see it as a net positive and in long run it will positively impact the market for sure.
Chinese investors here could have been the victim of this recent announced banning of crypto and i believe that it will definitely create a long term effect on them. But when it comes to the bitcoin market, i have seen that there is no huge effect really unlike what it had impacted from the previous years. This time, i agree on you that the bitcoin market is now immune from all those frequent banning from China and bitcoin has learned not to depend on China anymore as there are more big countries that have been more supportive to bitcoin now. With or without China, i think it does not make any difference.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments capitulate and finally recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: October 10, 2021, 09:36:48 PM
There is always an opposition against adopting Bitcoin in every country. As is the case in El Salvador not all accept Bitcoin but all have alternatives to using other available finance. I'm not sure for all countries really recognize decentralization that they don't fully control the rate of transactions. Because if they finally admit it, then at least there must be a tax that the government should get from it.
For those countries who had accepted and recognize bitcoin as a legal tender, then they are surely obliged to pay taxes on the government. But for those who are not, no tax will be collected. But even if means huge amount of tax from bitcoin, i think the government is not convinced yet to finally recognize bitcoin as a legal tender because bitcoin requires more transparency wherein the government don't have any. And for now, they are more focused on fiat that is fully centralized even if the rising inflation is becoming more inevitable.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 10, 2021, 09:39:37 AM
This is finally over, Fury proved to the world that he is the better fighter between him and Wilder.

He got Knockdown but just like the first fight he was able to get up and in the end, he was able to KO Wilder with a solid punch.
I just don't like Wilder after the fight as he doesn't show respect when Fury tries to shake hands, so he is really a sore loser now, and no doubt about that.

What's next for Wilder then?

1635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace fiat in 10 years? on: October 09, 2021, 09:55:58 PM
76% of finance professionals believe that digital assets “will serve as a strong alternative to, or outright replacement for, fiat currencies in the next 5-10 years,” according to Deloitte’s annual global blockchain survey.

Is there any possibility that this could happen or this was just another speculation that is impossible to believe, but if we are going to look at the percentage of finance professionals that believe on the possible replacement of fiat with digital assets I think we are in 90% basis in favor of rival or replacement of fiat. Show me your comments about this news guys if you believe or not with this possible replacement?
in the next 5 to 10 years the popularity of crypto will definitely beat fiat...

I predict people who make transactions with crypto are far more than fiat because it is cheap and easy but the existence of crypto will not eliminate fiat because the government will definitely not allow it.
Even at the present i can say that crypto has already starting to gain interest not just as an investment but also making it as a currency. And i know after 10 years, crypto might already co exist with fiat and is already integrated in banks, but never will it replace fiat in the long run. Its decentralized and being highly volatile in nature will more cause confusion to the people. And the government will never allow it to happen knowing they can't be more transparent like crypto.
1636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Entering the trading market on: October 08, 2021, 09:34:05 PM
best strategy could be learning on how trading works so that you will know what to expect , what are things that needs to be done.
practice or warming up is also good for preparation before the real session begins
. it prevents you from getting shocked  , thats good because when your calm you can think and act properly . all these are only a basic strategy but creating a real strategy will come once you already entered the trading arena  .
For me, it will be a good start if you set your positive mindset first before taking into the preparations upon entering the market. Crypto trading is never that easy and you'll be able to take risk more often so at least, your mindset is already prepared. After that, maximize your day through deep researches and even watching some trading videos and learn first hand strategies from a reliable trading platform. The rest will only be learn once your into the real scenario in trading. Its kinda tough in the start but you'll definitely overcome it after few months from learning experiences.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 08, 2021, 08:52:09 PM
It is all about trust, because one cannot make a person feel it's value. Value of bitcoin in decimals during its existence. Later it started to grow gradually and has now marked a big change in value. This is all because of the increasing demand. If it hasn't got any real value the demand could've diminished with time rather than growing. So, real value of bitcoin can be felt by the one who believe in it.

The influenced in value comes up with the people who use the system, Bitcoin as digital money is already been embrace. More now with supply and demands, the more people who invest to hold, the more pressure to push the value up. And yes, trust from those who are in this market really helps this asset. There are many players now and unlike before where everything depends most from speculation, now that there are countries and businesses who acknowledge the usages and existence of this currency, it's now a valuable asset to hold and serve as a good opportunity to invest your money.

Bitcoin's value is clearly determined from its supply and demand. The more demand for bitcoin, the higher the value it gets. So when you see that bitcoin is very expensive today, then simply its because the demand is already huge. And nobody would last long in this crypto market knowing how volatile it is, when in the first place these crypto coins aren't no value at all. I suggest OP make your own research first so you will know how valuable bitcoin is. When you think you are not hesitant already, then start investing as soon as bitcoin price starts to drop so you can gain higher profits when bitcoin reach another all time high.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero - December 5 on: October 08, 2021, 07:32:55 PM
I watched Lopez interview about this fight and he is betting Romero will beat Gervonta and he is betting 100 grand for that I don't know if he is that serious and what he sees on Romero and why he is taking Davis for granted, majority will pick Gervonta to win this fight, Romero is just to boastful to think that he can beat Gervonta he will be exposed on this fight.

here is the interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsvehrAtbBk

Go that is a dream interview, the truth is I don't know how he does it but to bet 10 grand like that! ´To me it is totally crazy! For anyone who is learning or who is very new to boxing, nothing more than seeing the sporting life of Gervonta Davis lets you know that he is a boy with whom you should never talk, however if you take a look at his fights will end up having a unique panic, it is for such a reason that the interview surprises me.

Although this type of bets can change the mind of many bettors, mathematically thinking from a point of view outside of feelings, I would already consider changing my bet to Rolando, if we see him from a mathematical perspective, my security was based on a 50 % security, now with this interview they are giving me 33% in favor of Rolando, does anyone else have this same perception as me?

That's not crazy at all, 10 grand could be huge for us but Lopez is making a lot of money in boxing so he can afford that, Mayweather even bet more than that, and that's the mentality of a gambler. Also, although Tank Davis is the heavy favorite here, but no one could guarantee that he will win in this fight, even himself.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: October 08, 2021, 04:37:21 PM
This article seemed very interesting to me, despite the fact that the author of the article has an error in the name of the boxer Caraballo:

Quote
Caravaro said: “I am grateful that promoter Miguel Cotto Promotion has given me the opportunity to fight in Madison Square Garden with the top ranks. I take this opportunity to look good and win the world title. Aim and keep making noise at 118 pounds. Sultan is a powerful and experienced enemy. I know he fought a celebrity, but I work with the team to show that I am a respected force. I’m working hard. This victory is for my people in Guaya Nilla and all the Puerto Rico people in New York. “

Source : https://www.jioforme.com/zepeda-vs-vargas-caraballo-vs-sultan-set-on-espn-on-october-30th-boxing-sports/793618/

I think that due to Caraballo's streak the majority of people will vote or bet in favor of him.

I would not be surprised by that, and I like his words as despite he is an undefeated fighter, he respects his opponent and is willing to work hard to be in the best shape. Looks like his work ethic is really good resulting in a flawless career and the quality of wins is really impressive.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 08, 2021, 11:55:32 AM
~
This is a preseason game, maybe the approach is different, and by looking at the highlight of this play, no one in Denver uniform would like to take the two, they want to end this game with a game-winner, hopefully, this doesn't happen in the regular season as it's so dumb to trust the 3 than a high percentage shot.
Believe it or not, that was an actual game last season. In the post fight interview, coach Malone even said he didn't know what happened Grin

When I look back at that play, Murray could have pushed the ball, drive to the lane and maybe get a foul for a three-point play instead of stopping on a 2 on 1 break. If that was Kobe on the ball, he would have dunked that.

Murray doesn't have the mamba mentality so he would never do that, they rely too much on their 3 point shooting so their first decision is just to shoot threes rather than driving to the rim and dunk the ball, anyway, players are just human, they also make mistake and what's important is that Murray has become a superstar, he just has to stay healthy so the Nuggets this season will be a more competitive team.
