Note that when the original post was written, bitcoin was higher than it is at present, and by a significant amount too. We didn't exactly lift off to anywhere. I would agree that selling your shitcoins was a good move though. There are way too many of them and they're all garbage.

Loans for reputation are frowned upon here and will get you negative trust, and so will a loan request without collateral. No one here knows you or anything about your credit. You'll have to do better than this--it's your first post and you're asking for money from people on bitcointalk.

These were high tech at the time and upgrading / replacing them is way more costlier than to get expensive floppies. Sony shut down their factories in 2013 with only Imation and a few other chinese companies manufacturing them. India and Japan still require a million pieces of floppies every year. I'm not being sarcastic here: That was the most interesting thing I read all day. I thought floppies all went the way of Zip drives and such. |

If you plan on using the account you just made, youwould do well to read the stickies in the lending forum. You need collateral for any sort of loan around here or else you're going to get spray painted with red negative trust. Itdoesn't smell too good and has amazing staying power. It doesn't wash off easily.

How is this illegal? You can't just shut down an exchange then choose to disperse the remaining assets to a few customers. In addition to that, since they knew of the theft and did not report it. Instead trying to do it cowboy fashion and fix it themselves. They say they contacted the FBI with no response. I just have one question here. Do you believe that? Heads will roll. "Yeah we tried calling the FBI but they're never home!" What a bunch of tweaking wankers. Yeah they're an American company and you can stay up and running while in bankruptcy as far as I know. This one (AV) was for 5 days, the BUCKS was for 7 days, it's not a big amount but the fact being scammed hurts. There are some good exchanges--at least ones that haven't scammed yet. Coinbase, the Winklevoss project (I think), Yobit, just to name a few. All of these poopcoins just blow my sphincter. I can't believe people waste not just bitcoin but hard-earned cash on these things. None of them are ever ever ever in a million lifetimes going to be used for anything other than trading.
