1641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have a universal wallet? on: August 18, 2017, 03:35:24 AM
There was a wallet for BTC and ETH at the same time but I've heared that is is centralized and someone was scammed by it's developers so be carefull while choosing a wallet Smiley
Also due to youtube overview different hardware wallets also support at least BTC + ETH. That would be a safer choice.
1642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What major factors affect bitcoin price? on: August 18, 2017, 03:28:44 AM
Usually the significant influance cause different major events like SegWit. But on short periods you can also see how market reacts on different exchange hacks, spam attacks and any other technical issues of any large service.
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should government involvement be there ? on: August 17, 2017, 07:42:33 PM
The government dont have control over blochchain but it can still try to track people using bitcoins. Also it controlls the proucers of different goods and they also pay taxes. Using means for them that they won't be able to hide different amount of revenue (so in some cases btc will give more instruments to control someone else's activity). Cutting or removing taxes is good anyway so bitcoin will only harm sick systems that should be cured.
1644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc thoughts ( second ones) on: August 17, 2017, 06:50:24 PM
Some thoughts only for brainstorming. Not for evangelists
4. If the price reach 100k as mang dream, the top guys valuation will be 1 trillion . Some will even be richer than the known billionaires ( as listed by forbs). Sounds realistic
By the time bitcoin will be 100k todays billioneares will already multiply their money.

6. When the banks or the governments realize the potential of blockchain technology, what will stop them from creating something similar? Even same code by changing name like buttcoin, fuzzcoin, shitcoin, and put also a hard number limitation.

Blockchain is not only used by bitcoin. If you are talking about the national cryptocurrency then it doesen't sound fair for the government simply because they won't controll the emission.
1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Exchanges vs Mixers on: August 17, 2017, 06:20:23 PM
What is the reason why people should use mixers (if they for example want do launder btc)? Never used such services but for me it seems better just buy some forks on exchange and buy bitcoins back. At least you won't get even dirtier coins than you had before.
1646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's real use of segwit activation? on: August 16, 2017, 06:30:05 AM
As  I know SegWit is not fully launched yet.
Have you tride to use any accelerator? Seems like your fee will be accepted for acceleration. It won't confirm your transaction instantly but it will help if it is stuck.
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corrupt Central Banks and Governments just gonna sit back and watch Bitcoin win? on: August 16, 2017, 05:09:30 AM
These elite 1% of the world population have power and control over everything and i find it hard to believe that they will let bitcoin grow and overtake them.
heh, typical leftist statement Smiley Why do you think everything will be different in btc? A lot of ppl already scream that it is unfair that someone bought a lot of BTC in 2010 (despite all risks) for almost nothing and now have  a huge amount of money. Inequality is a typical thing and it exist in cryptoworld. Don't see anything bad here.

1653  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Modern American elites have come to favour inconspicuous consumption on: August 10, 2017, 01:51:25 AM
The working class have a less secure position that's why they are unconsciously comforting themselves by buying stuff. It makes them feel they have something "to hold on to". The rich can have any thing they want and so they are now focusing on self-improvement since they have the time for it.
imho they are secure as never before. The problem that normal workers should also work on themselves and not blame someone for their own troubles. every time they want someone to take care of them. Even now you are trying to connect such  problems like doing drugs with the existance of the other class of people.
1654  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android phone on: August 10, 2017, 01:26:55 AM
Some years agi I've been playing 2048 and minion rush on my way tu studies Smiley Then hearthstone (in general it is not a phone game) came out on androids and i've started playing it all  the way to my job.
1655  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tips on how to study smart on: August 10, 2017, 01:19:51 AM
You probably would not accept this advice but my tip is that you should not study if you dont want it (or even not sure). Better give up now then force yourself to study and after  some years realize that you don't need it. So for me the best way to pass the exam is to belive that  the subject is intereting for me and i will need it. Then preparetions gona be easy.
1656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin do you need now to be a millionaire? on: August 10, 2017, 01:02:01 AM
Why do you think that people wouldn't have 10 bitcoins? Ofcourse most of the users do nos own such amount but if you are realy belive in future of BTC you can accumulate it just by buying bitcoins for a part of your savings. For some years getting 10 bc is real.
1657  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Russia's Facebook' Eases Restrictions on Cryptocurrency Ads on: August 10, 2017, 12:45:26 AM
Who cares? As I know VK is totaly based in the hands of russian authorities. Do you realy expect such corrupted state to support any blockchain projects? At least we can hope it will smehow promote decentralized solutions thru the normal part of russians.
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 09, 2017, 11:24:45 PM

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

I will not agree here. The volatility is still too high and bitcoin can't be stable. Even the blockchain still face different issues. IMHO in 100 years the BTC price may be high bun it moght become more centralized due combining miners to different pools and it may be a real threat.
1659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much fee for a $2 Coffee transaction at the end of this Aug month? on: August 09, 2017, 11:18:44 PM
Currently:
On BSegwit chain around $1.1
On BCash chain around $0.15

So draw your own conclusion
Segwit is not yet launched. Soon the changes will fully activated and we will have better better fee but the block size will still be under 8mb that we have on BCC. Anyway choosing another fork is not the solution of the problem.
1660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can I do anything about my dust? on: August 09, 2017, 11:06:19 PM
I have about .03 of BTC in dust. It's from a cloud miner.

Sadly, not thinking it is all in an HD account that I set up, with a different derivation path than my primary BTC. I wanted to keep it separate so I could keep track of how much was mind.  This means those small output's can't be combined with larger ones when other spends are done, to keep the size down. If I try to send it all to another address, I am told the fees would cost more than I'm sending by coinomi with a .002/kilobyte fee set. I even dropped the fee down to .0014 per 21.co's web site.

So, is there anything I can do to recover/use any amount of this stuff.

I think this is one of the big flaws of Bitcoin also. Is anything being done to address this issue... it really makes bitcoin very bad for micro payments.

So you are saying that you got required fee over 0.03 btc? Don't know how to help here but i'm just curious how many incoming transactions do you have? Feels like it was  like thousands transactions from different faucets.
