ETH and Litecoin are both different planet. Each with its uniqueness, and to that I'll surely invest in both. But if I have to choose, I go for Ethereum.

Invest in the big guy, a.k.a Bitcoin. But if you wanna go for altcoins, go for Neo, Ethereum or litecoin. The best is for you to do some research of your own and understand your taste of coin, one you prefer and not.

Sure buy altcoins you know are cheap with bright future. Don't be totally greedy though, no matter how tempting it may seem. Go for altcoins with goals, ideas and high chance plus top security.

If its btc, I'd say HELL YEAH! But Ethereum going berserk, hell no. It will meet up to that price of 10000 someday but i don't think within just a year.

Bitcoin is super expensive now and not so sane nor stable, while Ethereum is opposite. I'd prefer to go with ETH but then its less and BTC is high(by high I mean load of money)

Do both. Buy bitcoin, hold it for some while and then buy Altcoins with profit gained from holding BTC.

There's something different about Ethereum. I speculate it will meet up to $1,000 sooner or later. But I'll go with sooner..around 2020

Definitely good for a long term investment and not advisable for a short term investment. You buy it, make sure you hold it for a while and don't panick sell if it drops.

Let's say you're badly in need of cash, go with the safe path. Divide into two, may not be equally but make sure you sell some and keep some. Sell the 50ETH for example and hold 200ETH.

Atlcoins are still kicking real hard. Bitcoin will fall soon only to rise again and I don't think that means Altcoins are dead/will die. If bitcoin should fall permanently, pretty much a new golden coin will fill its place, might not be up to btc but good enough.

Nothing last forever.
Bitcoin maybe great, but with time it won't be as it is now. I do believe a coin that surpass bitcoin will be created. Yes, bitcoin is forever the first but sadly not the last. The biggest annoying flaw Bitcoin has is the extreme growing high price, and with this flaw, Altcoins will find unique ways to solve it and bring forth incredible bitcoin like coins with less growing speed and high profits.
