Guys,

We don't have time to battle with the trolls and now stalkers in this thread and we simply wont react to it or be apart of it. It honestly takes up too much time and it is really not worth our time to do so. This thread is not a place for updates or a way to receive info from us. We're trying to get back to everyone but there are over 100+ voice mails a day and 100's of emails a day and its tuff. We're looking into hiring more staff but all staff is currently assembling and shipping.

We had an issue with the back plane - we're trying to figure out a way to to ship with 6 boards instead in 5 so that our clients can get 1.5ths out of their miner right off the bat. We are currently shipping of course with 5 board miner. Each board gets 250 overclocked. We've gone ahead and created a custom cages which will allow for upgrade.

Worst case, as we have been doing, is ship 5 board units until the 6th board back plane connector is ready, and send the 6th later with the extended back plane for the 6th board.

Please don't look to the forum or this thread for updates. Its not a forum that we would like to be apart because of all the crap that you read here which as it seems is black PR from some other company.

Just email:

Sales@advancedminers.com
orders@advancedminers.com
orderverify@advancedminers.com - for potential fraudulent offers of our product you may find on the internet.

Go to: http://advancedminers.com/bitcoin-mining-news/   for our news updates
Go to: http://advancedminers.com/bitcoin-mining-hardware/  for our online shop and to see updated prices.

Thanks. - AMT

5 * 8 = 40 chips.... very nice.  6*8 = 48 chips even nicer.

The Bitmine.ch has 32 chips at 1.0 THs.   So  I like what I am seeing!
1642  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 28, 2014, 10:40:56 AM

Very, very nice.  Looks like 8 Coincraft A1 per board.   Massive heat sink.   A1 chips spread out on the board to ensure maximum distance from each other.   Very nice.

Anyone seen a Bitmine.ch board,  is this the same desgin?

Oh wait.... PCB shows AMT, so it looks like its manufactured in USA.

Thanks for your response Luke.

About the website, Thomas was giving us the use of the dot org site.  I think that's a better location than the .co site.

I'm hoping Thomas will be able to pay that $85 and get the .org up and running with the website you built.

Still waiting for that 30K IXC bounty that he owes me.
1644  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AMT order list on: February 28, 2014, 12:27:51 AM
Is the info correct?

otep   492   10.21.2013   1.2   1   Shipped   N

So user otep claims the item was shipped?
1645  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 27, 2014, 10:34:57 PM
Here is what we DO know.
They have a registration in Delaware (incorporation)
They have a physical location (critical piece of information)

We also do know that the Coincraft A1 chips are real.  Check the DIY projects here at BTT.
We know technobit has manufactured systems using Coincraft A1.
We got an endorsement of AMT from technobit claiming they are legit.
We know that AMT does not use Technobit's PCB design.  Confirmed by Technobit.
We know that Bitmine.ch has shipped Coincraft A1 systems.  (based on customer reports).
We know that Bitmine.ch official distributor in the U.S. is AMT (as mentioned in their page).

....

We don't know if AMT has a succeful logic board.
We don't know if AMT uses Bitmine.ch logic board.
We don't know who is manufacturing the AMT boards.
We don't know how many 1.2 TH/s they have shipped.

My fellow miners,

Enough smack talk guys seriously...I am glad I came here and atleast know they have an "OFFICE". I am in a hotel in the AREA next to their building and will talk to them in the morning, if they ever respond. They seem legit, and the area seems VERY upscale. I doubt this is a New York City hat-trick, like I am used to seeing(I am from NY).

We need to give them time, they are delayed from parts, from what I have put together in my formal investigation.

What I need is for AMT to respond to me so we can get down to business and shut all the trolls up on here.

From what I have gathered(I am military and I know how to gather Intel), they are a legit operation; who is WAY in over their head. They are managing business from what seems to be a SMALL business office and making machines in different peoples garages.

Also, you can now see I don't work with AMT, I am just a guy from NY who is looking to sell bitcoins to people personally.

There is ALOT of money to be made on AMT's part and on my part...Someone said "ponzi scheme" to me at my Military Base, and I thoroughly agreed. What business isn't in some way a "Ponzi Scheme?" McDonald for instance? Rich Program Managers on top and LOW wage workers on the bottom.

We fit in as the middle man as miners and AMT will always be the TOP dog manufacturer. However, that does not make it right that they are late and STOOD me up out here.

AMT, please respond to me and don't make me feel like I wasted a trip out here. Even though Haverford is an amazing town, good thinking picking this location :-P

Very Respectfully,

~Casey A. Merry~
~Merry Miners ~

Make sure you find out the name of the contract manufacturer.  This will allow us to query them for info on the manufacturing and number of units.

Hey everyone,

I am at SAXBY's coffee, I uploaded the videos here and they are posted on DAILYMOTION.

Here are the links I have....So you know I am not AMT and I am privately investigating AMT to ensure they are real. Nobody was home at their office, and their door was not labeled. I will post THAT video later tonight, because I am going to check out their office again here in a second.

Here are the links:

AMT_Miner if you are reading this...I want to see you guys tomorrow or some time VERY soon. I am leaving tomorrow after-noon.

Thanks guys,

( I apologize for some of the videos, I tried not to RECORD people because it violates their privacy.)

Which address did you go to?  Is this the address:

355 Lancaster, Bldg. E1, Haverford PA 19041

Yes. That is the address he went to. On google maps street view, you can see the coffee shop across the street.

Is it the white building behind the brick building?

"Located in the heart of Philadelphia's western Main Line suburb, Building D is part of an attractive 34,145-sf complex of five (5) office buildings. The complex offers an excellent location, 130 parking spaces, and easy access to public transportation and shopping. There are four buildings at 355 Lancaster Ave. They include: Buildings A, C, D, and E. "

Did you go to building E?

Hi,
I'm writing here as far we did some business with AMT in the past.
All I can say for sure is that it is not a scam.
They made orders for our heX16B boards  with us and payments were in time as promised.
Josh is a man of his word , even been in a bad situation with forwarding from EU to USA he managed to fix it.
I'm not able to know where are they with Coincraft miners as far we did not met each other in terms of pricing and stuff for 28nm generation.
Any way  considering all the troubles with design and production I think they will make this thing a working product in some moment.
When I am not able to say.
Do all understand it's a lot of hard work putting all this together even if you have experience...

Just my 0.02 BTC

Finally,  a real recommendation from a trusted manufacturer!

As I've been saying in day 1,  don't mistake incompetence for malice.
1650  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 26, 2014, 02:43:42 PM
The value is in the 1 million+ registered customer database with emails/addresses/etc...

well they are welcome to my email address, as for my money.. that's another matter.  Cheesy

For verified customers they have more than just our email address and our money.  Cry

Mt.Gox will need to be very careful who they sell this information to.

Releasing that information to unscrupulous buyers is definely another crime.

It is unbelievable how this organization continues to keep everyone in the dark!
1651  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 26, 2014, 02:39:29 PM
So how can it be "more or less" legit when Mt.Gox did not produce the document.

I would imagine because it was produced by a consultant or somesuch working for an interested party.

If it was a consultant paid by Mt.Gox then that would mean Mt.Gox produced the document.

Anyway,  he's trying to disassociate himself with his own proposal.  That's what it look like.

Let's assume the numbers in the document are correct.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/209050732/MtGox-Situation-Crisis-Strategy-Draft

Claims that everything is missing.  THe 740K includes customer accounts and Mt.Gox accounts.

Then is the interview with Fox he says...  "technically speaking, it is not lost yet, just temporarily unavailable"

In summary , he wants to keep the 740K BTC that is 'just temporarily unavailable'.

The story of the BTC keeps changing.

First it is, 740K missing dues to mallaebility exploit.
Now it is 740K just temporarily unavailable.

Anyway, the subpoena in NY will force details to be released.

I still can't buy the document having a goat on top of the mountains as a logo is real...
That seems too much for me...
hence everything else related to this document seems unlikely to be legit as well.

Are you dense?   If it did not come from an official source or someone related to the official source, then why did Mark Karpeles not just claim it was a fake?    The only thing not believable is the contents of the document,  but its origin is obviously from Mt.Gox.

In the IRC obtained by FOX Business, Karpeles denies the document was produced by Mt. Gox, but confirms that it is “more or less” legitimate.

then he goes on and saying:

“As the name suggests it’s a draft, and it’s a bunch of proposals to deal with the issue at hand, not things that are actually planned and/or done,” Karpeles said.

So how can it be "more or less" legit when Mt.Gox did not produce the document.

Going further,  how did it become a draft of proposals if Mt.Gox did not produce the document.

Anyway,  the good news:

Dear MtGox Customers,

In light of recent news reports and the potential repercussions on MtGox's operations and the market, a decision was taken to close all transactions for the time being in order to protect the site and our users. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will react accordingly.

Best regards,
MtGox Team

What the hell does any of this have to do with their inability to enable withdrawals?

What "situation"? The fact that they lost customer funds?

TRANSLATION: "Hmm let's monitor the fact that we lost people's money and see if the money somehow magically reappears!"

ROFL!

True - what are they monitoring ? They closed down the site.

They are monitoring if they will get jail time or have to repay what they owe.
1655  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGox lost 750K Bitcoins? on: February 25, 2014, 09:39:12 PM
I call bullshit. Even though Mt. Gox was grossly incompetent, it's hard to believe that they didn't have very basic accounting practices in place to catch this sort of issue.

Surely someone did audits and helped them do their taxes every year

I think they did have accounting controls.

The real problem which they are not admitting is that they sold virtual BTC and the price exploded in their faces.

They have not been able to cover the short fall since early 2013.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/209050732/MtGox-Situation-Crisis-Strategy-Draft

These situation sounds like a fairy tale – most business do some sort of monthly report
And the management would know if they are losing money - to lose $350 m must have being known to the management team for a long time.
In my opinion the whole management team should do jail time for fraud
I think the plan to wipe a $350 M with no plan to repay customers and start again is ludicrous.

My theory is that Mt.Gox sold BTC a lot of fake BTC when it was under $20, pre-2013.   Only to discover to their complete horror that the price explodes on them.    Notice that there were no upgrades to site after early 2013.   They were deeply in debt by early 2013 because of BTC that they sold short.
1657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 25, 2014, 09:29:05 PM
Why would someone post that I work for AMT?

I am a new miner, doing things by the books. I am a 25 year old Active Duty Air Force Member, who is taking up this as a second job(maybe third job, if you consider full time college). I am going down there with my video camera on THURS/FRI and video-taping their financial building.

Also, any other functions they allow me to video tape. Do not think I work for AMT for a second, I am a pissed off customer who was told 26-28 FEB for delivery date, then I got told 17, 18, 19 MAR? I don't think so, that's horseshit.

My business - Merry Miners... is going to mine bitcoins and sell them IN person at a higher price then internet priced exchanges. Yet, I would only do sales of bitcoins physically, in person to person sales. Sort of like a physical exchange of Bitcoin? This is all brainstorming at this point.

My fellow miners should look into doing something similar, it will take it off the internet and make it real.

I will tell of my discoveries when I go there THURS/FRI, and put the speculations to rest.

Good luck to my fellow miners,

~Casey A. Merry~
~Merry Miners~

Best of luck!  Looking forward to your videos.

Did you inform AMT that you are going to visit?
1658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGox lost 750K Bitcoins? on: February 25, 2014, 04:35:27 PM
at least 744,408 BTC — about 6% of all coins in existence — are now out of circulation

not exactly.
"virtual BTC" generated by the incompetent mtgox is gone ... it's the 744k BTC.  Grin

Agree.  I don't think any BTC was lost.  This was "virtual BTC" that Mt.Gox sold to their customers.

Mt.Gox owes them real BTC.

I doubt that there will be any company that will takeover Mt.Gox and take this liability.

1660  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGox lost 750K Bitcoins? on: February 25, 2014, 03:37:29 PM
Were they stolen and still could be in circulation?

If the background to that rumour is true and its been actioned over a long period, then it's likely the perp sold the coins as they aquired them. That is, they're not sat there holding 750k BTC but rather the price over the last few years has been depressed by those being sold. The theft then only becomes obvious now and those who thought they had coins on MtGox didn't really hold anything (flashes of fiat reality in my head), coupled with that all holders of BTC who've been spending in the real world on product or back out to fiat, have lost money to those theiving.

Which then is a good sign perhaps that the appitite for Bitcoins was sufficient to absorb that amount and still show a healthy rise. We'll have to wait and see now, if then the price of coins avaliable without MtGox interference, suggests there really is more demand than easy forged supply.

If the coins were stolen, I believe it would have to have been done in a situation like you just described. What I can't understand is the stupidity involved. In order for this to happen all the way until you have only a couple thousand BTC left to your company's name, you have to be completely and utterly incompetent not for weeks or months, but for years on end. You would have to never ever realize that "hey I am bleeding money and not making any." They have to be almost impossibly stupid for this to happen. I don't know if we will ever get the full picture.

This is obviously BS,  Bitcoin is an electronic currency.  You can find out in micro-seconds how much coins are in your wallets.  To lose 750K Bitcoins over a long period and not know about it is really difficult to believe.  What is beliveable is Mt.Gox sold 750K of BTC that they never had.   Any auditing firm can find this out.
