I think that trading need attitude  I don't thinkt that the people that are dumping right now will read this forum. Probably just day traders and miners looking for quick money and take any price they can get. Impatience f**kers. I allready lost 25% of my investment not willing to lose much more because of them. Will be gone this evening when I get home I hope to see some good news or else I'm out. Then you can learn something new: First of all I'm an investor and before to invest I always go to read what the community around the coin is doing. If you start to do the same, maybe you'll be able to buy in a better moment the next time ( and you'll also learn to have a bit of patience, I hope) Keep calm and enjoy, life is beautiful |

what are the traps? I know one.. a self-kill mechanism before block 30k This is a good question. I looked into that and changed some parts of the code to remove the obvious traps. The "self-kill" machanism you are talking about was solved with a simple change of blockheight in the code.  I am not saying that I can guarantee no further problems after the launch, but I am an nearly 100% sure, that I will be able to fix all those problems and stop those attacks. Do you remember back when NXT was attacked by DDos? I think it made the community stronger. So I am looking forward to that! + 1 |

some suggestions: 1) We could have one "community wallet" for future development purposes. Each community member could have "donation feature" in their wallet which would allow the define the percentage of how much of the mined coins they want to donate to that "community wallet". So it would be like the donation percentage most of the mining pools have. 2) Feature which would enable you to automatically send mined coins to some other wallet e.g. exchange. It sounds good sorry not good enough to push the coin forwards. First we need to solve the problems that we have and than brainstorm about idea's Yeh, I agree with you. And just a reminder, you need to do something against all the fake/multiaccounts (some little requirements to reduce exploiting) and you need to do the distribution transparent.
I also don't like the idea to list this coin to an exchange before you have all coins distributed.

As the current market is going on COMM will never reach such value in this kind of scenario. As always, it is pure speculation to think a coin might rise 100 fold in price. And as always, there is just one scenario for that. And that is technical innovation and time. REDD introduced a new POS algorithm a couple of days ago. It acutally isn't that special. Just a slight change in rules. A bit like "only 10000 coins per account can mint". Something minor. But it gives media coverage and rose the price a lot. So, being able to add something technological to this coin, and be it as simple as it can, will make the price rise. If it is actually something major, the 100 fold will be managable in a couple of years. + 10 +1000 techologie + media coverage Technology automatically brings media coverage. The techy people are still the most priced commodity in the whole cryptoverse. And at the same time the most rare. We have myriads of media and graphic people. Every coin has them. They are just not sparse. Too bad techy gives you real money in the real world. There's a reason there aren't all that many in here. COMM coin has to be a continuous laboratory of innovative ideas... It's the name of the coin.. Every one has a part to play |
